Abstract

Kapuas Hulu is part of the regional potential in Indonesia which has natural beauty and flora and fauna with natural potential to be exotic for tourists, which still looks beautiful and natural. However, there are several factors, such as inadequate access when traveling to the location, lack of global promotion, and governance that is still minimal with facilities by institutions. This shows that this research aims at BKSDA's efforts to protect nature as a role model for biodiversity with effective governance. Apart from that, this research uses qualitative research by describing work using factual data. Thus, the results of the research found that the increase each year dominates local tourists more than foreign tourists with data. There are also things that BKSDA collaborates to do, such as; 1. Become a government partner in encouraging and disseminating tourism awareness among the community. 2. Providing participation in various training related to understanding. what is tourism potential and also what it would be like to develop a tourist village like Lake Sentarum and Kapuas Hulu. 3. Mapping tourism potential, every tourist location point in Kapuas Hulu. 4. Create a tour package where this tour package has a tariff according to the tourist's trip in Kapuas Hulu and what the tourist activities will be in the future. 5. Promoting tourism products carried out by the regional government and BKSDA so that Lake Sentarum is internationally recognized. So that the existence of BKSDA and regional and central governments can provide support for managing biodiversity with regional potential as local community wisdom that can be developed as a tourist attraction.

Abstract

Special Economic Zones (KEK) in Indonesia are an important means of supporting economic growth and investment in several regions. As the global economy becomes more integrated and competitive, cooperation between countries that form special economic zones becomes increasingly important. An example of significant cooperation is between Indonesia and Singapore in the development of special economic zones in the Batam, Bintan and Karimun areas (abbreviated as Riau Islands). This research aims to analyze Indonesia's role in economic cooperation involving the Batam, Bintan and Karimun regions. In the context of this research, the literature study method was used to explore various information and views regarding Indonesia's role in this collaboration. The research results show that Indonesia plays an important role in developing these regions as economic and investment centers. In an effort to increase investment attractiveness, Indonesia has launched various policy incentives, including ease of doing business and investment, which support the growth of the industrial and trade sectors in the region. Apart from that, Indonesia also plays a role in developing regional infrastructure and connectivity that supports this collaboration. Although there are still several challenges that need to be overcome, Indonesia's efforts in collaborating with Batam, Bintan and Karimun have made a positive contribution to economic growth and investment in the region, as well as opening opportunities for further cooperation with neighboring countries.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out how Indonesia-Malaysia will collaborate in protecting migrant workers in Malaysia in 2023-2024. This research uses a qualitative approach, namely using books, articles, magazines, and others as direct data sources which are tools or (documents) as the main data collection method for analyzing data inductively. The results of this research indicate that the implementation of cooperation regarding the protection of Indonesian Migrant Workers (TKI) or PNI in Malaysia carried out by the Indonesian and Malaysian governments is still not running well due to the lack of commitment and structure for the countries carrying out the collaboration and also the lack of knowledge possessed by TKI in the informal sector.

Abstract

This study seeks to explore the impact of the competence of village officials and community engagement on the financial administration of Village Funds in Aur Cina Village, Batang Cenaku District. The Village Funds, a program initiated by the Indonesian government, hold considerable potential for enhancing the well-being of rural communities by fostering infrastructure development and empowerment. However, challenges such as oversight, accountability, and the necessity for guidance and training for village officials are crucial aspects that demand attention. The research employed a descriptive methodology with a quantitative approach, involving a primary population of 10 village officials. Data collection encompassed the distribution of questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. The analysis of data involved validating and ensuring the reliability of the questionnaire, testing classical assumptions, and hypothesis testing utilizing SPSS. The findings of the research indicate that the competence of village officials, individually, exerts a significant influence on the financial management of Village Funds. Additionally, community participation demonstrates a tangible positive effect on the financial administration of village funds. The outcomes of the F- test affirm that collectively, the competence of village officials and community participation synergize to create a more optimal framework for the financial management of village funds.

Abstract

Demak Regency is one of the districts in the province of Central Java, Indonesia. The capital city is Demak Kota District, this district borders the Java Sea to the west, Jepara Regency to the north, Kudus Regency to the east, Grobogan Regency to the southeast, and Semarang City and Semarang Regency to the west. Demak Regency is one of the areas in north coast of Java. As a coastal area, apart from having great potential, the coast in Demak Regency is also an area prone to land subsidence and tidal flooding. This research aims to analyze the potential for flood inundation in Demak Regency using a Geographic Information System (GIS) approach. Spatial data in the form of land elevation, rainfall and land use are collected and analyzed using the latest GIS software. The results of the analysis show the identification of areas that have the potential to experience flood inundation, with topography and land use factors playing a crucial role in determining the level of risk. This research contributes to understanding the potential for flood inundation in Demak Regency and can be the basis for future disaster risk mitigation and management policies.
