Abstract

Monetary is a part of economics which studies the nature of money and its influence on economic activities. Monetary policy is a medium used by the Central Bank to manage various financial variables such as the rupiah exchange rate and interest rates. And the main goal is none other than to achieve currency stability both from internal and external factors. Abstract

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) activities are one of the business sectors in the national economy that can grow and develop sustainably. Micro, small and medium enterprises are a good platform for job creation jointly planned by the government, the private sector and individual entrepreneurs. The role of society in national development, the main bodies of economic development are small, medium and micro businesses. The position of small, medium and micro businesses in the national economy plays an important strategic role. The aim of this research is to determine the role of MSMEs in economic development. The results of this research show that small, medium and micro businesses have made a major contribution to the development of the national economy. Even though there are still challenges in the implementation process, the government is working hard to provide several stimulus measures to overcome these problems. so that small, medium and micro businesses can continue to develop. Regarding the contribution and role of small, medium and micro businesses, the government must continue to strengthen support for small, medium and micro businesses so that their pillar role in national economic development can be utilized optimally

Abstract

MSME is an abbreviation for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises. MSMEs are the meaning of businesses or businesses carried out by individuals, groups, small business entities, or households. Indonesia as a developing country makes MSMEs the main foundation of the community's economic sector. This is done to encourage the ability to develop independence in society, especially in the economic sector. The development of MSMEs in Indonesia continues to increase in terms of quality, this is due to strong support from the government in the development carried out for MSME business activists, which is very important in anticipating future economic conditions as well as maintaining and strengthening the structure of the national economy. Development in the era of globalization is very dependent on the economic sector as a measure of success carried out by the government. The role of society in national development, especially in economic development, is Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). The position of MSMEs in the national economy has an important and strategic role. This condition is very possible because the existence of MSMEs is quite dominant in the Indonesian economy. MSMEs after the economic crisis continue to increase from year to year. This also proves that MSMEs are able to survive in the midst of an economic crisis. MSMEs have also been proven to absorb a larger workforce in the national economy. By absorbing so many workers, the MSME sector is able to increase people's income. Thus, MSMEs are considered to have a strategic role in reducing unemployment and poverty. For the contribution and role of MSMEs, it is important for the government to continue to support MSMEs through strengthening so that their role as pillars in building the nation's economy can run optimally

Abstract

The background of this research is that the high interest of the Muslim community in wanting to go for Umrah indicates that the economy of the Muslim community is getting better, resulting in the emergence of many Umrah service companies everywhere. The implementation of Umrah Pilgrimage Service Management is the thing that pilgrims pay the most attention to, good service management is an important key to success in getting satisfaction for pilgrims and the wider community and can enhance a good corporate image.The research method used in this study is a qualitative approach, the type of research is field review and is descriptive in nature. Data collection methods used by the authors in this study are observation, documentation, and interviews. Sources of data from employees and members of the AET Travel Internasional office of PT. Padang City State Tourism Direction. The data analysis technique used is data reduction and data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that service management for Umrah pilgrims in increasing congregation satisfaction is carried out by AET Travel Internasional PT. The direction of the Padang City State Tourism is to use service management indicators, namely polite behavior, delivery methods, delivery times, hospitality. In carrying out these services AET Travel Internasional PT. Padang City Tourism Direction puts forward indicators of service quality, namely reliability, assurance, tangible, empathy, responsiveness

Abstract

The background of this research is related to the influence of the quality of transportation services on customer satisfaction of the Bukittinggi-Jakarta NPM bus. This study aims to determine the effect of service quality on customer satisfaction in the Bukittinggi-Jakarta NPM bus fleet. The method used in this study is to use quantitative methods. The sample used was 100 consumers of NPM Bukittinggi-Jakarta bus transportation services who made repeated purchases. The data used is the rimer obtained from the results of the questionnaire questionnaire. The sampling technique in this study used a simple random sampling method. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire with a Likert scale with the SPSS 16 application. The data analysis technique used was Simple Linear Regression Analysis, Determination Coefficient Test, and T-test. significance of 0.000 ≤0.05. The test results for the coefficient of determination obtained R Square of 0.602. This shows that the dependent variable of customer satisfaction is 60.2% influenced by the independent variable service quality, while 39.8% is influenced by other variables that have not been studied in this study

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to see the effect of information technology on the development of MSMEs in Lubuk Kilangan District, Padang City. This research is a quantitative descriptive research using a questionnaire (Likert scale). The number of samples is 95 respondents. And with the method of data analysis used to test the validity, reliability, classical assumptions (normality test, autocorrelation test), simple linear regression test, test the coefficient of determination R², and test the hypothesis (t test). The results of this study indicate that the regression coefficient has a value of 0.616. If it increases for every 1 unit of information technology variable, it will affect the development of MSMEs by 0.616. Then the calculated t value is 8.537 and the t table is 1.986 which is calculated > t table (8.537 > 1.986), then the sig is obtained at 0.000<0.05. From this it can be seen that the information technology variable (X) has an influence on the MSME development variable (Y). then the results of the R² (R Square) test obtained a value of 0.439 or 43.9% which can be interpreted that the independent variable (information technology) has an influence of 43.9% on the dependent variable (business development) and the remaining 56.1% is influenced by other factors such as the ease of borrowing business capital and government policies. Based on the information technology t test, it partially has a significant effect on the development of MSMEs in Lubuk Kilangan District, Padang City

Abstract

This research aims to determine the added value of managing wooden furniture production waste as an innovative product in the city of Timika. The research method used is the descriptive research method, namely a method for examining the status of a group of people, an object, a set of conditions, a system of thought or a class of events in the present. In this research, the data collection methods used were the interview method, observation method, and documentation method. To determine the existence of a positive influence, the analytical instrument used in the research is analysis of the cost of production. The results of this research show that the cost of production for miniature bonsai is Rp. 35,490/unit and added value of Rp. 1,597,050, while the cost of production for briquettes is Rp. 9,793/kg and added value of Rp. 145,500.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of occupational safety and health through risk control on workforce productivity. The research method used is an associative research method, namely a method for determining the relationship or influence between two or more variables. In this research, the data collection methods used were the observation method, questionnaire method, and documentation method. To determine whether there is a positive influence, the analytical instrument used in the research is multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this research show that in the t or partial test the elimination, substitution, engineering and administration variables have no effect and there is a PPE variable that has an effect on labor productivity and the F or simultaneous test has a significant effect on the effect of labor productivity

Abstract

This research aims to determine strategies for improving service quality at the Timika Raya Hotel. The research method used is descriptive, which is a type of research that aims to describe or describe an incident or event. The descriptive method in this research was used to provide an overview of the strategy for improving service quality at the Timika Raya Hotel. In this research, the data collection techniques used were questionnaires and interviews. To find out what the hotel improvement strategy is, the analysis used in this research is a combination of Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) and Strength Weakness Opportunity Threat (SWOT). Based on the results of the Importance Performance Analysis (IPA), the results of the research show that there are attributes included in quadrant A which are the main priority improvements that must be made by the Timika Raya Hotel to meet customer expectations because these attributes are important for hotel customers but are still not in accordance with customer expectations. Based on the results of the SWOT Analysis, the condition of the Timika Raya Hotel is in quadrant I, where the strategy that must be implemented when facing this situation is to support aggressive growth policies

Abstract

This study is a study using literature research or literature review method. A literature review is a comprehensive overview of research conducted on a specific topic, designed to show the reader what is known and unknown about the topic, to find justification for research that has been conducted, or to find ideas for previous research. Some time ago, many large companies in our country experienced slowed growth or even closed due to the economic crisis. Meanwhile, the micro, small and medium enterprise sector has demonstrated its ability to survive and develop despite the economic crisis. Given what we learned during the crisis in Indonesia, it makes sense that private sector economic growth efforts are concentrated on MSMEs
