Abstract

This study aims to analyze business strategies applicable to the Es Teler 77 MSME in facing the increasingly fierce competition in Indonesia's culinary industry. The analysis uses the SWOT approach (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats), supported by the IFE and EFE matrices to identify internal and external factors influencing business sustainability. The calculation results show a total IFE score of 2.15 and an EFE score of 1.95, placing Es Teler 77 in Quadrant IV of the SWOT matrix. This position indicates that the company must adopt a defensive strategy by minimizing weaknesses and avoiding threats. Recommended strategies include operational efficiency, improvement of service quality, and adaptation to current market trends and consumer needs. Through these efforts, Es Teler 77 is expected to maintain its business continuity and enhance its competitiveness amidst increasingly aggressive competitors.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats) of the "Manis Rasa Lokal" Chocolate Banana Chips MSME. The results of the analysis show that MSMEs have strengths in product quality and weaknesses in digital marketing. The biggest opportunity comes from the trend of healthy snacks, while the biggest threat comes from competition with similar products. This home business focuses on banana-based food processing, with its main product being chocolate-coated banana chips. To enable small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) to compete in a wider market, the SWOT approach is expected to help create an appropriate development strategy. This home business focuses on banana-based food processing, with its main product being chocolate-coated banana chips. To enable small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) to compete in a wider market, the SWOT approach is expected to help create an appropriate development strategy. The results of the analysis show that the product has a unique taste, abundant raw materials, and competitive prices, but still faces problems in digital marketing and production capacity. With the trend of healthy snacks and government support, there are great opportunities, while there are threats. Major competitors and fluctuations in raw material prices are sources of threat.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to identify strengths that can be used to overcome weaknesses, as well as opportunities that can be seen among the many threats and appropriate company policies in order to improve using the results of SWOT analysis. The SWOT analysis process was conducted using the IFE (Internal Factor Evaluation) matrix, which identifies both the weaknesses and strengths of the company, and the EFE (External Factor Evaluation) matrix, which outlines the opportunities and threats faced by the company. The main variable in this study is aggressive strategy, as the SWOT analysis indicates that PT YMMA's growth is one of the most aggressive. Aggressive strategy involves steps such as market penetration, product development, backward integration, and diversification. This study shows that PT YMMA has implemented market penetration, backward integration, and diversification strategies. This is because YMMA focuses more on developing existing products and the raw materials they use are also made by YMMA, as well as the variety of musical instruments with the latest features. This study contains a description of the factors that cause a decrease in people's purchasing power for musical instruments due to a decline in interest in musical instruments. As is well known, playing a musical instrument requires knowledge and skills that are quite difficult to understand in a short period of time. In line with the latest developments, there has been a decline in musical instrument production since the end of the pandemic. The results of this study reveal that this decline was caused by people's new lifestyles after the pandemic. During the pandemic, people tended to stay at home and easily became bored, so during the pandemic, musical instrument sales actually increased due to the increased interest of the community in learning musical instruments to relieve boredom during the pandemic. Additionally, technological advancements have enabled artificial intelligence to replace the role of physical musical instruments, as people now prefer practical and easier-to-understand alternatives.

Abstract

Creative economy is a new economic concept that combines information and creativity by relying on ideas, concepts and knowledge from human resources as factors of production. In economic studies, there are four factors of production: natural resources, human resources, capital, and orientation or core management or the heart of the creative economy. However, there is still no model that can bridge the needs of economic innovation with a commitment to Islamic principles such as honesty, trustworthiness, social responsibility, and the blessings of business. Research objectives: (1) To identify, analyse, and examine the characteristics of MSMEs in Cirebon City from an Islamic entrepreneurship perspective. (2) To identify, analyse, and examine the strategies of the Cirebon City Government in developing a creative economy based on Islamic entrepreneurship in MSMEs in Cirebon City. (3) To formulate a model for developing a creative economy based on Islamic entrepreneurship in MSMEs in Cirebon City. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach, which will describe a phenomenon that is currently occurring, focusing on issues that arise during the research. The results of this study are: (1) MSMEs in Cirebon City have essentially internalised the values of Islamic Entrepreneurship in practice, although they have not formally identified themselves as Islamic entrepreneurs, (2) strategies for developing MSMEs, such as training, exhibition facilitation, and capital assistance, by integrating Islamic values.(3) The model proposed in this study is the Islamic Quadruple Helix Model, which integrates four main pillars, namely the government, academia, business actors/SMEs, and the Islamic community.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the formation of an optimal portfolio on IDXPROPERT stocks using the Single Index Model from January 2020 to December 2024. The research method used is quantitative research with a descriptive approach. The population in this study includes all IDXPROPERT stocks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, and the research sample was determined using purposive sampling method. The data used in this study are secondary data collected through documentation techniques and then analyzed using the Single Index Model. The results show that from 64 stocks used as research samples, 7 stocks form the optimal portfolio. The stocks that form the optimal portfolio and the proportion of funds allocated to each stock are GMTD (2.95%), LPLI (2.65%), MKPI (6.36%), NIRO (71.59%), PAMG (1.15%), RISE (13.07%), and SATU (2.23%). From the formed optimal portfolio, the expected return for investors is 0.0052 or 0.52% with a risk of 0.0116 or 1.16%. This study also shows that the portfolio risk is smaller compared to the risk of each individual stock before being grouped into a portfolio. Additionally, the expected return of the portfolio is not significantly different from the expected return of individual stocks. This indicates that the use of the Single Index Model is effective in minimizing stock investment  risk through diversification, while maintaining a certain level of return.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of transparency and accountability principles within the framework of Good Corporate Governance (GCG) in drone procurement service companies, identify key implementation challenges, and provide strategic recommendations based on academic literature and public policy. The research adopts a qualitative descriptive method using a systematic literature review approach, reviewing relevant academic and regulatory sources from 2015 to 2025. The findings reveal that transparency is manifested through digitalization of tender processes, open access to vendor data and technical specifications, and public reporting. Accountability is reinforced through reporting systems, auditable decision documentation, and both internal and external audits. However, GCG implementation in this sector still faces significant challenges, including regulatory overlap across sectors, lack of governance-competent human resources, and potential conflicts of interest in vendor selection. This research recommends the development of sectoral GCG guidelines, strengthening of digital-based internal control systems, and establishment of collaborative forums between government, industry, and academia. These findings offer strategic insights to enhance governance practices in strategic technology procurement that are adaptive, accountable, and sustainable.

Abstract

This paper investigates legal violations in marketing strategies and their profound impact on corporate reputation. Focusing on the interplay between ethical principles and legal compliance in product quality, pricing, promotion, and target marketing, this study analyzes real-world cases such as Firestone's product defects , American Apparel's controversial advertising, and Nike's ethical claims versus supply chain realities . The study highlights how legal breaches, often stemming from ethical lapses, lead to severe financial penalties and, more critically, to irreparable damage to a company's intangible asset: its reputation. It underscores the critical responsibility of boards and management in ensuring marketing integrity and adherence to legal frameworks, ultimately arguing for a proactive, ethical approach to marketing as a cornerstone of sustainable business success.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the practice of monopolies and cartels in the global market through a metaphorical approach to justice in order to expose the structural inequality hidden behind formal legal legitimacy. The object of study includes the dominance of multinational companies such as OPEC, Amazon, and Google in the global market. The method used is a critical qualitative approach with hermeneutic and discourse analysis techniques, supported by literature studies from selected academic sources. The results show that cartel and monopoly practices not only create economic distortions through market and price control, but also violate Rawls' principle of distributive justice and ignore ethical responsibilities towards stakeholders. This research develops a conceptual framework that integrates distributive ethics, stakeholder theory, social justice, and antitrust principles as the basis for developing more substantively fair market policies, so that justice in the global market must be understood more deeply as an ethical and social principle, not just a formal legal one, so that antitrust regulations can promote inclusive, equitable, and collective welfare-oriented markets.
