Abstract

The Mebulle Bai ritual in Buntubuda Village, Mamasa District, is a local cultural heritage that serves as a model for conflict resolution within the community. This study employs an anthropological approach based on Stephen B. Bevans’ contextual theology model, which emphasizes valuing local culture as a medium for living out biblical values. Mebulle Bai reflects the principles of reconciliation, forgiveness, and relationship restoration through acknowledgment of mistakes, apologies, and collective community involvement. This aligns with biblical teachings, such as 2 Corinthians 5:18- 19 and Matthew 6:14-15, which emphasize the ministry of reconciliation and the importance of forgiveness in fostering harmonious relationships. This ritual conveys values of respect for ancestors, collective responsibility, and restorative justice that prioritize relationship healing over punishment. Mebulle Bai also serves as an example of contextual theology that integrates faith and culture, bringing God’s love into daily practices. Thus, this ritual not only functions as a means of conflict resolution but also shapes community identity in alignment with Gospel values, fostering sustainable social and spiritual harmony.

Abstract

There are several scholars who have different opinions in defining asbab an-Nuzul, including Az-Zarqani, Ash-Shabuni, Shubhi Shaleh and Manna' Al-Qattan. However, all of them concluded that asbab an-nuzul was the incident or event that was the background for the revelation of the verses of the Qur'an, in order to answer, explain and resolve the problems that arose from this incident. Asbab an-nuzul is historical material that can be used to provide information on the revelation of a verse of the Qur'an and provide context in understanding its commands. Of course, these materials only cover events at the time when the Koran was still revealed. In terms of the number of causes and verses revealed, asbab an-nuzul is divided into two, namely the first, Ta'addud Al-Asbab Wa Al-Nazil Wahid (the reason behind the revelation of one verse) and the second, Ta'adud an-nazil wa al- asbab wahid (the reasons behind the revelation of several verses). The expressions or editorials used by friends to show the revelation of the Koran are not always the same. The editorials are broadly grouped into two categories, namely Sarih (clear) and Muhtamilah (still possible or uncertain). Asbab an-nuzul has a very important meaning in interpreting the Koran. A person will not achieve good understanding if he does not understand the history of a verse's asbab an-nuzul. Understanding asbab an nuzul will be very helpful in understanding the context of the revelation of the verse. It is very important to apply the verses to different cases and occasions. The opportunity for mistakes to occur will definitely be greater if you ignore the history of asbab an-nuzul.

Abstract

The Al-Qur'an is a collection of revelations from Allah SWT which were revealed to the Prophet Muhammad SAW in Arabic as a guide for mankind at that time and continues to be valid until the end of time. It is universal, not limited by the dimensions of time and place. In accordance with the function and position of the Koran, it is very large. For this reason, determining the procedures for interpreting the Qur'an needs to be formulated so as to avoid confusion in interpretation. There are several methods for interpreting the Qur'an, including various approaches to interpretation methods that have been developed by scholars to achieve a broader understanding. Interpreting the Qur'an includes four methods, namely the tahlili method, ijmali method, muqaran method, and mawdhu'I method. The method of interpreting the Koran is not something that can be simply ignored. Understanding of the methodology must be pursued continuously towards its refinement

Abstract

Quality Improvement is a picture or characteristic of human resources and other resources that relate to several aspects that can be worked on to achieve good and quality improvement results. Therefore, improving the quality of KBIHU must be a serious concern, not only fixated on physical facilities and infrastructure, but must pay attention to the istitha'ah rituals of Hajj to guarantee the mabrur of the pilgrimage, as well as the ability and mastery of the rituals of Hajj and Umrah. The requirement of istitha'ah should also include mastery of religious aspects and knowledge. In the process of hajj and umrah rituals, there needs to be a test of reading the Qur'an and other religious knowledge. This research is a qualitative research in collecting data from informants. The data source used for this research is Primary Data, where the research data is obtained directly and processed directly from the object. Data collection techniques through interviews, observation and documentation. the mechanism for implementing Hajj and Umrah ritual guidance for improving the quality of pilgrims carried out by KBIHU Qubbatul Muttaqin Sukabumi has been running quite well in accordance with the method and form of implementation of ritual guidance that has been established.

Abstract

When related to human behavior, leadership becomes a very popular issue. For a long time, leadership has been considered something that is “biologically given” and natural. Many perspectives argue that a leader’s abilities are linked to biological traits, based on gender differences. Rebekah’s leadership from a gender perspective is a strong figure and has a significant role in the Abraham family .Thus, anyone can lead regardless of gender. Therefore, leadership is influencing others to encourage change based on the ability to overcome differences. Gender and leadership produce interesting topics to study. Gender is a social construction that produces differences in roles, functions and responsibilities between men and women. Gender can change over time. Despite this, there are still many people who consider gender to be similar to type. Biological sex differences, which have physical reproductive abilities. This research will discuss how Rebekah’s leadership analysis uses a gender perspective and its implications for the Christian family of the Kibaid church, the Rantebia congregation. The aim of this research was to explain Rebekah’s leadership from a gender perspective and its implications for the Christian family of the Kibaid church, Rantebia congregation. The research method used is a qualitative research method. Data collection is through observation and in- depth interviews with informants as well as literature studies by reviewing books and journal articles to obtain information that is appropriate to the problem being studied.

Abstract

This research examines the Muslim-Hindu Conflict in Contemporary India (Narendra Modi's Reign) The Sangh Parivar is a nationalist Hindu organization consisting of the Vishva Hindu Parishad, Bajrang Dal, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). The group seeks to establish Hindu Rashtra, an Indian theocracy that adheres to Hindu principles. However, the Sangh Parivar is not a purely religious organization. The construction of India as a Hindu state is the result of the application of the ideology of Hindutva, which is the ideology of modern Indian society derived from Hinduism. The method used for this study is qualitative research and literature study, this study explores how Hindutva ideology and the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). Based on the theory put forward by Appleby called the term "strong religion", which argues that religion with a fundamentalist nature can be a deadly force. The results show that the conflict that occurred in India is a religious conflict that is ridden by political interests. This finding emphasizes the importance of understanding the nature of religion in everyday life.

Abstract

This study examines the contribution of hadith scholars in the development of hadith science through a historical perspective and literature review. The main focus of the study is to analyze the evolution of hadith science from the early days of Islam to the contemporary era and to identify the key roles of the scholars in this process. The literature review method was used in this study. The results show that the contribution of hadith scholars was significant in several aspects: (1) the collection and codification of hadith, (2) the development of hadith criticism methodology, (3) the establishment of hadith classification systems, and (4) the writing of monumental works in hadith science. The study also reveals that the development of hadith science was not limited to the classical era but continues to the present with adaptations to contemporary challenges and opportunities. Thus, the conclusion emphasizes the importance of the contribution of hadith scholars in maintaining the authenticity and relevance of hadith science. It also underscores the need for further studies on the integration of classical methods with modern approaches in hadith science and its implications for the understanding and application of hadith in the contemporary context.

Abstract

The issue of women continues to be a hot topic for discussion. One aspect of this is the social stigma that women are often perceived as temptresses, liars, skilled in deception, and sources of scandal. This stigma persists in society. Some verses, such as Qs. Ali Imran/3:14 and Qs. Yusuf/12:28, are frequently used as justification. These two verses are generally associated with lust, which is often understood as something negative and only attributed to women. This paper presents research results on two opposing interpretations of these verses and then analyzes the strengths and weaknesses of each interpretation and their impact on the welfare of both men and women. This research is a library study, where the authors collect data from two conflicting interpretations of the verses and then analyzes and presents it using qualitative methods. The authors also apply the theory of al-Dakhîl and the theory of Mubâdalah. Based on the theory of al-Dakhîl, distortions in the interpretation of lust and inconsistencies in connecting the verses are found dan based on the theory of Mubâdalah, it is found that both men and women possess lust, as lust is a natural disposition in every human being. It can be good or bad, depending on how it is managed. The goodness or badness of lust cannot be attributed to only one gender, as both men and women can have the same potential.

Abstract

Children are biological descendants (flesh and blood) of their parents or are not biological descendants, but because there are other factors that cause the relationship between children and their parents. Adoption, like the traditional practice in the Jahiliyah era, which gave adopted children the same status as biological children, is not permitted (forbidden) and is not recognized by Islam. The relationship between adopted children and their adoptive parents and family remains as before adoption, which does not affect inheritance and inheritance, whether the adopted child is taken from within one's own relatives, as in Java, where most of one's own nephews are taken as adopted children, or taken outside the circle of relatives. Likewise, adopted children should not have the same status as biological children, in all matters, such as guardianship, inheritance and other obligations. Islam even allows someone to marry their adopted child. Likewise, biological children and adopted children. Nursing children may become mahram (prayers are not invalidated). For example, say a woman takes a man's adopted child, the woman is adopted by him, so the woman's nurse child becomes the woman's mahram, from a legal perspective, it is haram to marry the woman's biological daughter, and also the woman. If a woman takes an adopted daughter, the woman breastfeeds it, it is unlawful for the woman's suckling child to marry the woman's biological male children, and it is unlawful to marry the woman's husband. But with certain conditions.
