Abstract

This research aims to analyze the role of sharia digital marketing strategies in increasing the sales turnover of Ipul Ngawi tempeh chips. The implementation of digital marketing in accordance with Sharia principles, such as honesty and transparency, has become the main focus in enhancing the competitiveness of this business in an increasingly competitive market. The research method used is qualitative, with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews with business owners and secondary data analysis from the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) as well as other documentation. The research results show that the use of social media such as Google Maps, WhatsApp, and Instagram can expand product marketing reach, increase consumer trust, and positively impact sales revenue growth by up to 30%. However, the limited knowledge of business actors in utilizing advanced digital marketing features poses a challenge that requires further mentoring and training. Thus, the Sharia digital marketing strategy not only boosts sales but also helps strengthen the positive image of the business in the eyes of consumers. This research is expected to contribute to the development of sharia-based marketing strategies in the MSMEs sector, particularly in Ngawi Regency.

Abstract

The halal industry has grown significantly across various sectors, including food, cosmetics, and fashion. However, the halal entertainment and media sector remains underexplored, despite increasing demand from Muslim consumers for content aligned with Islamic values. This study aims to analyze the opportunities and challenges of developing the halal entertainment and media industry within the creative economy framework. The research employs a literature review method, examining secondary sources such as industry reports, academic articles, and relevant publications. The data were analyzed qualitatively to assess the growth of the halal entertainment industry, the impact of digital technology, and the regulatory challenges related to halal content certification. Findings indicate that digital technology, such as streaming platforms, plays a crucial role in expanding global access to halal content. Additionally, Muslim consumers increasingly prefer entertainment that aligns with Islamic values. However, major challenges include the lack of clear regulations and certification standards for halal entertainment, along with the creative limitations in producing content that is both appealing and compliant with Islamic principles. In conclusion, the halal entertainment and media industry holds significant potential, particularly in Muslim-majority countries like Indonesia. Clearer regulations and content innovation are key drivers for future growth.

As a country with the largest Muslim population in the world, Indonesia actually has great potential for the development of the halal and sharia industry. Unfortunately, this potential has not been matched by good achievements at the global level. The halalness of a product is a mandatory requirement for every consumer, especially Muslim consumers. Be it products in the form of food, medicine or other consumer goods. The halal product industry is currently experiencing development not only as a halal product but also as a halal lifestyle. This research is a normative legal research with the research method being library research. Based on the results of the study, it is known that with the birth of Law Number 33 of 2014 concerning Halal Product Guarantee, there is a guarantor and legal certainty regarding the guarantee of halal products. To become a major player in the world's halal industry, full support from the government is needed. The halal industry roadmap needs to be made as soon as possible so that the goals and development of the halal industry in Indonesia are more focused. The existence of the National Sharia Finance Committee (KNKS) is also expected to help the development of the halal industry in Indonesia.
