Abstract

This research examines and analyzes kauniyah verses which are often recited in accordance with currently developing scientific theories, namely the development of industrial revolution 4.0 and social revolution 5.0. The focus of this research is more on the relevance of the kauniyah verses which are often recited in accordance with the development of science in the era of revolution 4.0 and 5.0 with the presence of scientific cues in each kauniyah verse which then becomes a guide in today’s modern research. This research uses qualitative research, based on library research. In a previous study from Wirdawati et al, they proved in their research that the Al-Qur’an is related to science. The findings in this study concluded that 1). The Al-Qur'an has clearly mentioned kauniyah verses which contain studies related to the development of science and technology in the industrial revolution 4.0 and social revolution 5.0. 2). There is a very strong relevance in the Kauniyah verses which always invite us to think through the universe so that we can carry out research and find new findings that continue to develop.

Abstract

The introduction of Islam to Indonesia is a complex historical event that took place over a long period of time, starting from the 7th century and reaching its peak in the 13th to 16th centuries. The process of Islamisation in the archipelago is marked by unique characteristics, namely a relatively peaceful and gradual spread, in contrast to the pattern of the spread of Islam in several other regions of the world. Islam entered through various channels, mainly trade, marriage and da'wah by Muslim traders, ulama and Sufis. Ports and coastal cities became the starting point for the spread of Islam, which then spread to inland areas. The process of Islamisation in Indonesia was also characterised by intensive adaptation and acculturation with local culture, resulting in a distinctive form of Islam in the archipelago. This accommodative approach allowed Islam to be widely accepted and become an integral part of the identity of Indonesian society. The introduction of Islam not only changed the religious landscape, but also shaped new social, political, and cultural dynamics that had a profound and lasting influence in the formation of Indonesia's national identity.

Abstract

The Qur’an is the holy book of Muslims which discusses various things, including the nature of science. This study analyses verses from surah Hud verse 14, Al- Baqarah verses 32 and 145, and Al- Qashash verse 78. These verses provide an indept understanding of the concept of knowledge in islam which includes the relationship between in the Creator humans, the universe, and humanity. Knowledge is given as Allah Swt’s greatest gift to humans to distinguish humans from other creatures, and as a means to achive happinesin this world and thehereafter . it is important to practice knowledgein a benefical way in everyday life, because in the Qur’an science is not only knowledge, but also worship, morality and social responsibility. If someone truly understands what knowledge means, the will be more motivated to continue learning and developing, and they will utilize their knowledge for benefit of humanity

Abstract

This paper aims to explore the building of Optimistic and Patient mentality in the Qur'an which is important to study the meaning and significance of Building an optimistic and patient mentality is the most important thing in the elements to increase resilience for oneself and Spiritual well-being. The Qur'an emphasizes that the importance of these two attitudes is part of the guidance of life's journey and a form of obedience to Allah. In this conceptual study, it is found in Q.S Az-Zumar: 53, Allah commands his servants not to despair and have a strong mentality, and always provides a foundation of optimism and patience to be patient in all the problems we face so that humans always hope for His forgiveness and goodness. The purpose of this study is to foster optimism in a person who is guided. Grouping based on an approach that focuses on optimistic value assessment. Included in the interpretation of Q.S Al-Baqarah: 155 teaches that Allah does not burden someone beyond their abilities and has a mentality that can foster optimism and patience. Q.S. Al-Balad: 8, emphasizes that humans are created to face difficulties as part of their natural life, so they need patience in every process. This study aims to explore the meaning between optimism and patience in building a mentality according to the perspective of the Qur'an which teaches that with optimism and patience and still holding on to Allah's promise

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the Efforts to Prevent Juvenile Delinquency with a Religious Approach. This research uses qualitative research with literature study. The results show that efforts to prevent juvenile delinquency with a religious approach is one of the strategies that can be done to reduce the level of juvenile delinquency. Juvenile delinquency is a serious problem because it can negatively affect the growth and development of children. For this reason, various appropriate prevention efforts are needed so that juvenile delinquency can be minimized. One of the efforts to prevent juvenile delinquency that can be done is to use a religious approach. This religious approach is one way that can be used to instill religious values in children from an early age. Thus, children will have a strong foundation in living their daily lives, thus avoiding actions that harm themselves or others.

Abstract

Islamic teachings state that life and death are under the control of Allah, and therefore, no human being is allowed to take away the right to life from another person. This writing aims to broaden the knowledge of others about the discussions surrounding the history of human rights in the West, Islam's view of human rights and the conflicts that occur between human rights and Shari'ah. The method used in this research is to use a qualitative approach, by applying the descriptive-analytical method. The results of this study state that there are five main principles of human rights in Islam, including the principle of protection of religion, soul, mind, offspring, and property. One of the reasons for the conflict between shari'ah and human rights is that Islamic laws are only understood by the majority of the population. Islamic laws are only understood by the majority of the Muslim community, while human rights are understood by all human beings globally, regardless of their religion

Abstract

Al-Farabi's political thinking was heavily influenced by Western philosophers, especially Plato and Aristotle. For Al-Farabi, politics acts as ethics and initiative which are closely related to human happiness and welfare. AlFarabi began his political thoughts when discussing the origins and emergence of countries or cities. According to him, society arises from the existence of unity between individuals who need each other. This article aims to examine more deeply the Islamic political thought of Abu Nasir Muhammad bin al-Farakh al-Farabi, or often known as al-Farabi through the literature study method, which is a research method used to collect in-depth information and data through various literature, books, notes, magazines, journals and other references to identify Al Farabi's thoughts on politics, society, state and leadership.

Abstract

Islam and liberalism are two paradigms of thought that have different origins, values and principles. Conflicts between Islam and liberalism often arise in various political, social and religious contexts, due to differences in views on religious authority, individual freedom, the role of the state and social values. However, the relationship between Islam and liberalism also reflects the complexity of social and political dynamics involving interaction, dialogue and cooperation between the two paradigms of thought. The study of Islam and liberalism shows the importance of understanding the history, context, and variations of thought in modern Muslim societies. Thus, efforts to achieve better understanding and harmony between Islam and liberalism require an approach that is inclusive, critical, and based on cross-cultural and religious dialogue

Abstract

In general, as followers of the Prophet Muhammad SAW, it is obligatory for Muslims to know and maintain his teachings. One of the teachings inherited by the Prophet is Qira'at of the Qur'an, qira'at is a way of reading a variety of Arabic letters in the Qur'an while still paying attention to the reading rules that have been set. Therefore, to avoid deviations from the qira’at of the Qur'an, some scholars set requirements that are in accordance with the rules of good qira'at. The information elaborated regarding the qiraat of the Qur'an was obtained through data collection methods, reading and writing using books and e-journals as sources. This research is descriptive analytical, which means collecting the opinions of scholars to answer the purpose of this writing. Which results in the qira'at being greatly influenced by the background of its delivery and also its history. This led to the emergence of various types of qira’at, but the Prophet still permitted it as long as it did not violate the rules, with the aim of making it easier for Muslims to read the Al-Qur’an.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the phenomenon of fundamentalism spread in society as part of the discussion on contemporary issues in Islam, using the Maudhu'i approach of tafsir in the Qur'an. A qualitative approach was used to collect references from accredited journals and other reliable sources. The thematic interpretation method was applied to interpret the verses,by searching for words related to fundamentalism, identifying the implied themes, and interpreting them with the help of Maudhu'i tafsir. This research highlights the problem of Islamic societies that still adhere to fundamentalist thinking, close themselves to other views, and tend to follow religious teachings rigidly without considering relevant social and historical contexts.
