Abstract

This research aims to determine whether there is a role of father's involvement in parenting on the self-esteem of adolescents whose parents have divorced and live with their mother. Father's involvement in parenting plays a crucial role in shaping adolescents' self-esteem. Losing one parent due to divorce can hinder the development of self-esteem in adolescents. Father's involvement in child-rearing includes aspects of time, interaction, and attention. This study employs a quantitative approach with a survey method involving late adolescents aged 18-22. The total number of respondents is N=130, using the Perceived Father Involvement Questionnaire and Rosenberg's Self-Esteem Scale. Data analysis is conducted using simple linear regression analysis. The results of the analysis show that father's involvement in parenting has an influence on the self-esteem of late adolescents students. Father involvement contributes as much as 37.7%. Father's involvement in parenting significantly affects the self- esteem of late adolescents.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out whether there is a relationship of self-compassion with reselience in students of disharmonious families at Bhayangkara University In Greater Jakarta. This type of research is a quantitatively correlated descriptive type. The sample used as many as 142 students using purposive techniques. The results of the study basedon Spearman's rho correlation test showed self-compassion with resilience has a very high strength association. The plus in the correlation coefficient indicates a positive relationship between self- compassion and resilience in students of disharmonious families at BhayangkaraUniversity in Greater Jakarta (value r = 0.820** with p < 0.000). So it can be concluded thatself-compassion correlates with resilience in students of disharmonious families.

Abstract

This research method is descriptive quantitative in the form of case study research. This research uses simple linear regression analysis. The data source in this research is the Mitra Keluarga Cooperative, Parsoburan District. Toba Samosir at Head Office. The data collection technique used is a documentary study technique. Based on the results of the regression analysis, the equation obtained is Y = 21.789 + 0.956X. Based on the results of hypothesis testing using the t test by comparing the Sig value with the significant degree used, namely 0.05, the probability value Sig = 0.000 is obtained, which is smaller than the significant degree used (0.000 < 0.05), which means bad loans have a significant effect on turnover. cash flow. With a determinant coefficient value of 32.5% and the remaining 67.5% is influenced by other factors not studied in this research

Abstract

This research will analyze a deep understanding of the concepts of sin and forgiveness in the context of Christian pastoral counseling. Sin, as a central element in Christian theology, has various interpretations and implications in counseling practices. This study investigates the theological perspectives related to sin, including original sin and personal sin, and identifies the crucial role of Jesus Christ in the redemption and forgiveness of sins. Furthermore, this research explores the psychological impact of guilt arising from sin, as well as efforts to facilitate the acceptance of forgiveness in the pastoral counseling process. Through a comprehensive literature review, this research also discusses the strategies and counseling approaches applied to assist individuals in understanding and overcoming sin, as well as receiving forgiveness. These approaches encompass pastoral counseling methods that enable counselors to navigate wisely through the complexities of situations involving sin and forgiveness. Additionally, this research identifies potential obstacles in the process of understanding sin and forgiveness, and provides practical advice for pastoral counselors to facilitate repentance and spiritual growth in individuals. The results of this research are expected to provide valuable insights for pastoral counselors and church ministers in approaching, understanding, and guiding individuals experiencing conflicts or struggles related to sin and forgiveness. By integrating theological and counseling perspectives, this research establishes a solid foundation for pastoral care that is sensitive to the spiritual needs of individuals and strengthens spiritual bonds within the church community.

Abstract

Decision quality is the result obtained from the decision-making process influenced by the way of thinking used (conscious and unconscious thought). This experimental research consisted of two groups, namely conscious thought and unconscious thought groups. This study aims to determine whether there is a difference in the quality of the decision to choose electronic products (laptops) between participants who think consciously (conscious thought) and unconsciously (unconscious thought). Participants in this research were 53 students in Makassar City (18-25 years). This study used the experimental method between-subjects design, randomized two groups design. The results of data analysis using Mann Whitney U showed a significance value (p) of 0.001 (p < 0.05). The results of the study show that there are differences in the quality of the decision to choose electronic products (laptops) for participants who think consciously (conscious thought) and unconsciously (unconscious thought). Participants in the unconscious thought group produced objectively better-quality decisions than participants in the conscious thought group. This research contributes to complex decision-making that can generate good quality decisions objectively when individuals rely on unconscious thought processes.

Abstract

The importance of applying Christian ethical values in the dynamics of modern families is a crucial aspect that cannot be overlooked in building a foundation for a healthy and harmonious family life. Exodus 20:12 provides a clear command to honor one's parents, establishing a strong moral foundation for Christian families. However, in the ever-evolving and complex context of modern times, challenges in practicing these values may arise. Therefore, this study aims to investigate the extent to which the application of Christian ethical values, as outlined in Exodus 20:12, influences the dynamics of modern families. By understanding the practical implications of this command, it is hoped that we can provide useful guidance to Christian families in navigating the complexities of modern life while upholding Christian moral principles. This research will adopt a qualitative approach, utilizing in-depth interviews and participatory observation with a selection of Christian families who actively implement Christian ethical values in their daily lives. The data will be analyzed using a thematic approach to identify patterns and themes related to the application of Christian ethical values in family dynamics. Additionally, a questionnaire survey will be employed to gain broader insights from various family members regarding the impact and perceptions of these practices. The findings of this study indicate that the application of Christian ethical values, particularly in adhering to the command of Exodus 20:12, has a significant positive impact on the dynamics of modern families. Families who consciously practice Christian ethical values tend to have more harmonious and loving relationships among family members. Although challenges and obstacles may be encountered, the commitment to embody these values brings long-term benefits to the well-being of the family. Therefore, it is recommended that greater efforts be made to provide education and guidance to Christian families regarding the importance and methods of applying Christian ethical values in the dynamics of modern families.

Abstract

Water covers about 70 percent of the earth's surface volume. The properties of water bodies are characterized by 3 (three) main components, namely physics, chemistry and biology. Water quality is one of the most important parameters in fish farming. Water quality can be read using chemical and physical parameters. The aim of the research was to test water quality with 5 sample water treatments, consisting of P1 water only, P2 water with aeration, P3 water with aeration and zooplankton, P4 water with aeration and fish, P5 water with aeration, zooplankton and fish. Includes physical quality (temperature) and chemical quality (pH, DO, ammonia, phosphate, nitrite, nitrate, free CO2, and alkalinity). The method used is observational research through laboratory testing in the SDP FPIK lab at Padjadjaran University. From observational research on these 5 water treatments, differences in levels of pH, DO, temperature, ammonia, phosphate, nitrite, nitrate, free CO2 and alkalinity were found in each treatment.

Abstract

This research is a literature review aimed at investigating and summarizing the understanding of Christian youth leadership with a focus on nurturing an ethical Christian leader generation. Christian youth leadership is the subject of this research due to its crucial role in shaping the direction and values that will guide the church and society in the future. Through literary analysis, this study explores concepts of Christian youth leadership grounded in Christian teachings. The literature review encompasses key aspects such as character, values, ethics, and social responsibility that form the foundation of ethical Christian leadership. Additionally, the research explores various mentoring strategies and methods that have been proposed or applied to advance an integrity-driven generation of Christian leaders committed to Christian values. The results of this research are expected to provide a profound insight into the challenges and opportunities in shaping Christian youth leadership that is not only effective organizationally but also rooted in Christian moral and spiritual values. The implications or expectations of these findings can guide church leaders, educators, and mentors of Christian youth in their efforts to develop and nurture a generation of leaders capable of making a positive impact in an ever-changing societal context.

Abstract

Gourami fish is a type of freshwater fish that is popular as a food fish in Southeast Asia and South Asia. Apart from that, gourami are also often kept in aquariums. Apart from being known as gurami, this fish also has several local names such as gurami. In maintenance, one of the important factors in raising fish is the feed factor, whether artificial feed or natural feed, so it is very determining in the growth and development of fish, if the feed given is sufficient and of good quality it will really help growth, and improve The body's immune system is resistant to attacks by disease or parasites. Likewise, the type of feed given plays a very important role in determining the quality of the fish. The quality and quantity of feed is very important in fish growth, because only with good feed can fish grow and develop according to what we want. Good quality feed is feed that has balanced nutrition, including protein, carbohydrates and fats as well as vitamins and minerals. Because gourami fish are omnivorous, the food given can be in the form of leaves or pellets. Gourami fish (Osphronemus gouramy) is the main product of freshwater fish cultivation. Apart from being able to reproduce naturally and being easy to maintain, this fish is also a freshwater fish with economic value. Apart from its advantages, there are also obstacles in keeping fish that are often faced, usually gourami are slow to grow, so they need to pay attention to their maintenance. Factors that influence the growth rate are less intensive maintenance and feeding that does not support the growth of fish in the aquarium container
