Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of leadership style on the work motivation of employees at the Community and Village Empowerment Office of Polewali Mandar Regency. The variables in this research consist of the independent variable, namely leadership style, and the dependent variable, namely work motivation. The research method uses a quantitative approach with data collection techniques in the form of observations, interviews and questionnaires which were distributed to 47 respondents. The data analysis technique used is simple linear regression analysis with SPSS version 26 software to prove the hypothesis. The results of this research indicate that the application of a democratic leadership style has a significant effect on employee work motivation. Employees who feel involved in the decision-making process, receive clear communication, and feel attention to their needs tend to show higher levels of motivation in carrying out their duties and responsibilities.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of work life balance and work environment on employee job satisfaction at Bank BRI Panakukkang Branch Office. In this study, the population studied amounted to 40 employees who were also sampled. The method used is a quantitative approach with multiple linear regression analysis, using Statistical Product and Service Solution (SPSS) software to analyze the data obtained. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to respondents involved in this study. The analysis results obtained using the partial test (t test) show that the work life balance and work environment variables partially affect employee job satisfaction based on the value of t count > t table. In the simultaneous test (f test) the work life balance and work environment variables simultaneously have a significant effect on employee job satisfaction based on the value of f count > f table.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is (1) to determine whether there is a significant influence of social media marketing on purchasing decisions among consumers of Glowderm House of Beauty. (2) To determine whether there is a significant influence of product quality on purchasing decisions among consumers of Glowderm House of Beauty. (3) To determine the significant influence of social media marketing and product quality on purchasing decisions among consumers of Glowderm House of Beauty. This study uses a quantitative method with multiple regression analysis techniques to analyze the research data using instruments in the form of questionnaires. The population in this study consisted of 2983 customers of Glowderm House of Beauty over approximately 6 months, and a sample of 97 consumers of Glowderm House of Beauty was taken using the accidental sampling technique and calculated using the Slovin formula. The results of this study indicate that: (1) There is no significant influence of social media marketing on the purchasing decisions of Glowderm House of Beauty consumers. (2) There is a significant positive influence of product quality on purchasing decisions among consumers of Glowderm House of Beauty. (3) There is a significant positive influence of social media marketing and product quality on purchasing decisions among consumers of Glowderm House of Beauty.

Abstract

This article discusses a comparison between conventional fiscal policy and fiscal policy from an Islamic perspective, with a focus on their implementation during the time of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and the Khulafa al-Rashidin. Conventional fiscal policy is based on macroeconomic principles that emphasize growth and stability through the management of taxation and government spending. In contrast, Islamic fiscal policy emphasizes social justice, wealth redistribution, and resource management in accordance with Sharia principles. This study employs a literature review method to analyze various sources related to both fiscal policy systems. The findings indicate that during the era of the Prophet and the Khulafa al- Rashidin, state financial management was conducted through the Bayt al-Mal with a transparent and accountable approach, successfully creating economic stability and societal welfare. The article also highlights the relevance of Islamic fiscal policy principles in the context of the modern economy and encourages further research on integrating ethical values into public budget management. Thus, this article provides valuable insights for policymakers aiming to develop a more inclusive and sustainable economic system.

Abstract

In today's economic development, the role of accounting is very important to decide something so as not to cause losses, especially in carrying out activities and transactions in a company, for example, such as recording, reporting and interpreting basic economic data in a company. Basically, the accounting process is a service activity whose function is to provide quantitative information, especially those related to finance. This information is expected to be input in the economic and rational decision-making process. In making this report, the company uses financial data so that this report is called a financial report. PT. Tunas Bumi Karya is an entity without public accountability. Even so, the company must still make financial reports in accordance with applicable standards, namely SAK ETAP so that the company can find out how its financial flow and performance are. This study aims to determine how to design and implement financial reports in accordance with the financial accounting standards of entities without public accountability (SAK ETAP) in construction companies at PT. Tunas Bumi Karya. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research. The data in this study are qualitative data with data sources, namely primary data and secondary data. The data collection techniques used are interviews, observation and documentation. The data analysis technique used in this study is to use a descriptive qualitative method using data reduction, data display and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that PT. Tunas Bumi Karya has not implemented financial reporting in accordance with applicable standards, namely SAK ETAP. PT. Tunas Bumi Karya only makes financial reports containing incoming and outgoing money transactions so that they are not in accordance with the standards. Meanwhile, in SAK ETAP, entities must present five types of financial reports, namely Balance Sheet, Profit and Loss Statement, Statement of Changes in Equity, Cash Flow Statement and Notes to the Financial Statements. The obstacle faced by PT. Tunas Bumi Karya in implementing financial reporting in accordance with its standards is the lack of human resources who understand the five types of financial reporting.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between unemployment rates caused by mass layoffs and inflation rates. The economic crisis has resulted in layoffs and a widening gap between the supply of low-wage job opportunities and the growth of the new workforce. As a result, Indonesia's unemployment rate continues to increase every year. Through a literature review, this study uses a qualitative methodology. Primary and secondary literature sources are collected to conduct the research process. Descriptive qualitative research is a type of this research. Research methods based on descriptive data processing are known as descriptive qualitative research methods. According to the findings of this study, the loss of jobs and income caused by mass layoffs has increased unemployment and poverty rates as affected individuals and families find it difficult to meet their basic needs. An inverse relationship between inflation and unemployment rates is empirically observed without a strong theory; that is, if inflation increases, unemployment decreases, and if inflation decreases, unemployment increases. Thus, the inflation rate and unemployment rates due to mass layoffs have a correlation or relationship that is interrelated and inverse.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of taxpayer awareness and knowledge on taxpayer compliance in paying land and building tax in rural and urban areas in Padang Gelugur District, Pasaman Regency. The population of this study was 12,845 land and building taxpayers in rural and urban areas in Padang Gelugur District. The sampling technique used was propositional sampling using the Solvin formula for 99 people. The analysis method used was multiple linear regression analysis and descriptive analysis using IBM SPSS 26 V software. Interviews and questionnaires were used in the data collection process. The findings of the study indicate that (1) taxpayer knowledge has a significant effect on land and building taxpayer compliance in rural and urban areas. (2) Land and building taxpayer compliance in rural and urban areas is not influenced by taxpayer awareness. (3) Land and building taxpayer compliance in rural and urban areas is significantly influenced by taxpayer awareness and taxpayer knowledge simultaneously.

Abstract

This research was motivated by analyzing the effectiveness of BAZNAS in improving community welfare. As an official institution that manages zakat, infaq and alms, it has an important role in the redistribution of wealth and community empowerment. The aim of this research is to determine the effectiveness of BAZNAS in improving community welfare through Productive Zakat in Pasaman Regency. Evaluate the extent to which zakat funds managed by BAZNAS are effective in providing real benefits to people in need and in advancing their economy. The type of research used in this research is field research with a descriptive qualitative approach. The results of this research show that BAZNAS has demonstrated success in collecting and distributing zakat, with various empowerment programs that have had a positive impact on community welfare. However, several challenges such as the public's lack of understanding of the zakat mechanism and transparency in fund management still need to be overcome. This research recommends increasing transparency, strengthening empowerment programs, and intensifying outreach to optimize the effectiveness of BAZNAS. With these steps, it is hoped that BAZNAS can be more optimal in improving community welfare and strengthening its role as a zakat management institution in Pasaman Regency.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the fear and doubt of customers to bring large amounts of money to BMT Al- Hijrah Bukittinggi, fear of problems on the way to BMT Al- Hijrah Bukittinggi. Thus, this study aims to determine the impact and implementation of pick- up services in increasing customer savings motivation at BMT Al- Hijrah. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method, namely research that describes data and information in the field based on facts obtained through interviews and observations with sources. The informants in this study were staff and customers of BMT Al- Hijrah Bukittinggi. While the data analysis used was wrong with data reduction techniques, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The research was conducted from September 13, 2024 to October 2024. Based on the research that has been done, it can be concluded that the pick- up services provided by BMT Al- Hijrah Bukittinggi influence customers' decisions to save. This is shown by the large response of BMT Al Hijrah Bukittinggi customers who have a high average service level value, thus supporting that the service provided to customers will have a positive influence on customer decisions later. BMT Al Hijrah Bukittinggi has also improved the quality of pick up service through indicators of service quality success such as, evidence of financial, reliability, responsiveness, guarantees, and empathy. The optimal implementation of all indicators of service quality success will increase customer trust and interest in saving at BMT Al Hijrah Bukittinggi. Good service will be able to form a positive attitude in the early stages of customers towards the BAIT Al Hijrah Bukittinggi institution. This positive attitude is formed on the basis of customer satisfaction which will consistently cause interest in using the products and services offered which in the end customers will decide to become permanent customers at BMT Al Hijrah Bukittinggi.

Abstract

The research aims to determine the effect of product quality on purchasing decisions at the Waroeng Kembar business in Barru Regency.The independent variable in this study is the purchasing decision, and the dependent variable is product quality.The population in this study is all customers of Waroeng Kembar, with a sample size of 90 respondents.Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires to the respondents.The analysis method used is simple linear regression analysis using SPSS software.Based on the results of the regression analysis, a significance value of 0.000 was obtained, which is less than 0.05, and the coefficient is positive, thus it can be concluded that product quality positively and significantly affects customer purchasing decisions at Waroeng Kembar.
