Abstract

The issue addressed in this study is the absence of a comprehensively structured business model and the stagnation in business growth due to suboptimal development strategies. The objective of this research is to identify the currently implemented business model and to design an innovative and adaptive future business model that responds to market changes. This study employs a descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques including in-depth interviews, observation, documentation, and literature review. The collected data were analyzed by identifying the nine elements of the Business Model Canvas (BMC), evaluated through SWOT analysis to understand the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats, and further analyzed using the Blue Ocean Strategy (BOS) framework to design a development strategy based on value innovation. The research findings indicate that PT. Sahibuna Sabila Salam needs to strengthen several elements such as customer segmentation, value proposition, distribution channels, and customer relationships. Through the designed Future BMC, the company is directed to create new value, enhance digital services, and reach untapped markets. The conclusion of this study is that the application of BMC, combined with SWOT and BOS, provides a more effective strategic direction for business development. The implication of this research encourages the company to immediately implement the newly designed business model in order to enhance competitiveness and ensure sustainability in the umrah travel industry

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the impact of investment decisions and financing policies on company value in the property sector in Indonesia through a literature review approach. As a capital-intensive industry, the property sector requires strategic decision-making in both project investment and capital structure to maintain business growth and competitiveness. Investment decisions are analysed based on their ability to generate long- term returns, increase profitability, and strengthen investor confidence. Meanwhile, financing policies are examined based on their role in optimising the balance between debt and equity, managing financial risk, and maintaining corporate liquidity. By synthesising findings from previous empirical studies and various financial theories such as the Trade- Ofl Theory and Pecking Order Theory, this study demonstrates that the synergy between appropriate investment allocation and efficient financing structure is key to achieving sustainable corporate value. This research contributes theoretically by emphasising the interconnection between investment and financing strategies in value creation, as well as practically by providing insights for property sector management to adapt to market dynamics, macroeconomic conditions, and regulatory policies.

Abstract

Traditional markets such as Badung Market in Denpasar City remain central to community economic activities. However, despite infrastructure modernization and the adoption of digital technology, income disparities among traders persist. This study aims to analyze the influence of capital, working hours, business duration, number of buyers, digital technology, and business location on traders’ income at Badung Market. The research employed a quantitative approach using multiple linear regression analysis. A total of 88 respondents were selected through stratified random sampling based on business location, with data collected through observation, structured interviews, and in-depth interviews. The results reveal that all independent variables simultaneously have a significant effect on traders’ income. Partially, the variables of capital, working hours, business duration, number of buyers, and business location exert a positive and significant influence. Conversely, digital technology shows a negative and insignificant effect. These findings indicate that although digitalization has been introduced, its utilization remains limited due to traders’ low digital literacy and constraints in technology adoption. The study highlights the importance of strengthening traditional factors such as capital and location, while also emphasizing the need for guidance in the effective use of digital technology in line with traders’ capacities.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of economic growth and education level on poverty through the unemployment rate in Mimika Regency. The study employs a quantitative approach using path analysis estimated through multiple linear regression. The data used are secondary time-series data covering a fifteen-year period, obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistics of Mimika Regency and Papua Province. The analysis consists of two structural equations, where the first equation examines the effect of economic growth and education level on unemployment, while the second equation analyzes the effect of economic growth, education level, and unemployment on poverty. The results of the first structural model indicate that economic growth and education level have a negative and significant effect on unemployment. Meanwhile, the results of the second structural model show that economic growth, education level, and unemployment simultaneously affect poverty, although partially each variable does not show a statistically significant effect. The findings indicate that unemployment plays an intervening role in explaining the relationship between economic growth, education level, and poverty in Mimika Regency. These results suggest that poverty reduction policies should not only focus on economic growth and education improvement but also emphasize job creation to ensure a more inclusive development process.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of firm value, sales growth, and leverage on financial distress in manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2021-2024 period. This study used a quantitative approach with secondary data in the form of annual financial reports obtained from the official Indonesia Stock Exchange website. The sampling method used a purposive sampling technique to obtain a number of manufacturing companies that met the research criteria. Data analysis was performed using multiple linear regression with the help of SPSS Version 25. The results show that simultaneously, firm value, sales growth, and leverage significantly influence financial distress. Partially, firm value significantly influences financial distress, indicating that the higher the firm value, the lower the likelihood of a company experiencing financial difficulties. Leverage also significantly influences financial distress, as high debt levels increase the risk of financial distress. Meanwhile, sales growth did not significantly influence financial distress, indicating that sales growth does not always reflect a company's financial condition if it is not accompanied by sound cost management and funding structure. The results show that simultaneously, firm value, sales growth, and leverage significantly influence financial distress.
