Abstract

In the era of globalization, the quality of human resources has become a crucial factor in determining the competitiveness of educational institutions. This study aims to analyze the implementation of human resource orientation and placement at MTsN 2 Bogor. The research employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive design. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, involving selected participants using purposive sampling. Data analysis was conducted using inductive techniques, including data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that the orientation process at MTsN 2 Bogor is carried out systematically, starting from needs analysis, recruitment planning, selection, and continuing to orientation prior to job placement. Orientation serves not only as an introduction process but also as a strategic effort to accelerate the adaptation of new teaching staff to the work environment, responsibilities, and organizational culture. A participatory and communicative approach in orientation helps reduce initial anxiety, improve work readiness, and support the development of professional character as well as the internalization of Islamic values. Furthermore, the placement of teaching and educational staff is conducted based on the principle of the right man in the right place, ensuring alignment between competencies, educational background, experience, and institutional needs. Placement is also dynamic, involving transfer mechanisms to optimize staff performance and meet organizational demands. Appropriate placement has been shown to enhance productivity, motivation, and overall performance of educators. In conclusion, orientation and placement play a significant role in improving the quality of human resources at MTsN 2 Bogor. Both processes contribute to creating a conducive work environment, strengthening professionalism, and supporting the achievement of educational goals effectively.

Abstract

This study aims to examine in depth the impact of the policy separating religious knowledge and scientific knowledge within the institutional educational system at Al-Jihad Islamic Boarding School in Pontianak City. The phenomenon of the dichotomy of knowledge, which separates religious sciences from general sciences, is still found in a number of Islamic educational institutions, including pesantren. This research employs a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through field observations, indepth interviews, and documentation studies. The findings reveal that the practice of knowledge dichotomy in the pesantren is reflected in the division of the curriculum, the separation of study schedules between classical Islamic text studies (kitab) and formal lessons, as well as differences in orientation between religious and general education. The impacts are twofold: on the one hand, it strengthens the identity of the pesantren as a religious institution; on the other hand, it limits efforts to integrate religious and scientific knowledge. Therefore, the development of an integrative curriculum model is needed to connect Islamic values with the advancement of contemporary science.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of social media recommendation algorithms on the religious behavior of Generation Z and to examine the integration of Islamic Religious Education (IRE) values within digital systems in Popaya Village, Pohuwato Regency. This research employs a mixed-methods approach involving 20 students selected purposively based on their social media usage intensity. Data were collected through questionnaires, observations, and documentation, and analyzed using descriptive statistical techniques in the form of percentages. The results indicate that 90% of respondents use social media for more than three hours per day, indicating high exposure to digital content. Around 80% of respondents reported that algorithms influence their content consumption habits, while 70% showed interest in religious content when it appears frequently. Furthermore, there is a positive shift in religious behavior, including increased awareness of worship practices (65%), following Islamic preaching accounts (60%), and improved ethical behavior on social media (55%). These findings demonstrate that recommendation algorithms play a significant role in shaping user behavior. Therefore, integrating Islamic values into social media recommendation systems can serve as an effective strategy to enhance the religious character of Generation Z in the digital era.

Abstract

The era of globalization has brought rapid social, cultural, and technological changes that have impacted the educational process within families, particularly Islamic religious education. Children now live in a digitally connected world, filled with the flow of information, and vulnerable to global cultural influences that do not always align with Islamic values. In this context, mothers, as the first and primary educators in the family, play a crucial role in instilling Islamic values in children. This study used a library research approach, analyzing various academic literature (published in at least 2020) related to the role of mothers, Islamic religious education, family education, and the challenges of globalization. The results indicate that mothers' contributions to Islamic religious education include role modeling, fostering worship habits, monitoring digital media, religious communication, instilling morals, creating a religious culture within the home, and collaborating with educational institutions. Key challenges include the influence of digital technology, the penetration of global culture, changes in modern family structures, and mothers' limited digital literacy. Strengthening mothers' capacities through digital literacy, increasing religious understanding, and synergy between families, schools, and communities is necessary to ensure that Islamic religious education within the family remains relevant and effective amidst globalization.
