Digital Pedagogy in Primary Education Journal (E-ISSN: 3123-8424) is a scholarly journal published by PT Bukuloka Literasi Bangsa and affiliated with Hamzar College of Teacher Training and Education (STKIP Hamzar). The journal serves as a platform for researchers, academics, teachers, and education practitioners to publish scientific works related to digital pedagogy and learning innovations at the primary education level. The journal accepts research articles, literature reviews, case studies, and best-practice reports that discuss the integration of technology in primary school learning processes, the development of digital teaching materials, teacher competence in digital pedagogy, the use of learning media and platforms, as well as policies and practices that support the implementation of digital-based primary education. Through a peer-review process and a commitment to academic integrity, the Digital Pedagogy in Primary Education Journal is expected to contribute to the advancement of knowledge and practice in technology-based primary education, both in the Indonesian and global contexts. Focus and Scope The Digital Pedagogy in Primary Education Journal aims to develop and disseminate knowledge and technology through scientific research articles and review studies (meta-analyses) as an effort to enrich scholarly discourse in the field of education and teaching at the primary school level. Abstract

This study aims to improve the cooperative attitude of fourth grade students at SDN Kuningan Barat 01 through the application of the STAD cooperative learning model in Indonesian language learning. This study used the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method, which was carried out in three cycles, each cycle consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. Data were obtained through observation sheets on mutual cooperation attitudes and documentation of learning activities. The results showed an increase in students' mutual cooperation attitudes, from 55% in Cycle I to 75% in Cycle II and 90% in Cycle III. These findings indicate that the STAD cooperative learning model is effective in encouraging students to work together, participate actively, and show responsibility in group activities. Thus, the application of the STAD model can be an alternative learning strategy that is relevant for strengthening character values, especially mutual cooperation attitudes in Indonesian language learning. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan kaidah Ejaan Bahasa Indonesia (EYD V) dalam surat resmi satuan pendidikan sekolah dasar (SD) di Daerah Khusus Jakarta. Penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan sumber data berupa 20 surat izin penelitian yang diterbitkan oleh satuan pendidikan SD yang dilampirkan dalam skripsi mahasiswa S-1 PGSD Universitas Negeri Jakarta tahun 2023–2025. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ditemukannya 182 kekeliruan ejaan yang meliputi kekeliruan penulisan huruf kapital dan huruf miring, kata baku, serta tanda baca, dengan kekeliruan tanda baca sebagai yang paling dominan. Pola kekeliruan yang seragam menunjukkan bahwa ketidaktepatan ejaan bersifat sistemik dan berkaitan dengan keterbatasan pemahaman EYD V serta penggunaan format surat yang tidak diperbarui.Kata kunci: ejaan bahasa Indonesia, surat resmi, komunikasi organisasi pendidikan, sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Citizenship education is foundational to primary school, where young learners begin developing civic identity, values, and participation skills. This paper explores how different conceptions of citizenship influence the aims, curriculum content, and teaching methods in primary school civic education. Using a narrative literature review of peer-reviewed studies published between 2017 and 2024, the analysis examines five citizenship models: liberal, republican, deliberative, global, and Pancasila-based, and their pedagogical implications for elementary learners aged 6 to 12 years. The findings demonstrate that each citizenship conception emphasizes distinct learning objectives. Liberal models prioritize critical thinking and understanding rights; republican frameworks promote cooperative learning and community service; deliberative approaches develop dialogue and empathy; global citizenship cultivates intercultural awareness and environmental responsibility; and Pancasila-based education integrates moral character, national identity, and democratic values through culturally grounded activities. The review reveals that primary school citizenship education functions not merely as knowledge transmission but as a formative process shaping how children understand themselves as members of their communities, nations, and the wider world. In the Indonesian context, Pancasila provides a philosophical and ethical foundation that enables primary school teachers to connect universal civic principles with local cultural values and children's lived experiences. The paper proposes an integrative model of primary school citizenship education that synthesizes these five perspectives, demonstrating how teachers can simultaneously develop children's critical thinking, participation skills, moral reasoning, cultural identity, and global awareness through age-appropriate and contextually relevant pedagogies. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Moodle learning media on elementary school students' mathematics learning outcomes in Makassar City. The study used a quantitative approach with an ex-post facto design. The research population consisted of fifth-grade elementary school students, with a sample of fifth-grade students from the Tidung State Elementary School UPT SPF with three learning groups who had participated in mathematics learning using the Moodle learning media, with a total of 142 student respondents. Data collection was conducted using a Likert scale questionnaire to measure the use of the Moodle learning media and a learning outcome test to measure students' mathematics learning outcomes. The data obtained were analyzed using descriptive statistics and simple linear regression analysis with the help of the SPSS program. The results of the descriptive analysis showed that the use of Moodle learning media was in the high category with an average score of 77.80, while the students' mathematics learning outcomes were also in the high category with an average score of 78.90. The regression test results showed that Moodle learning media had a positive and significant effect on students' mathematics learning outcomes with a regression coefficient value of 0.50 and significance of 0.000 < 0.05. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that Moodle learning media has a significant effect on the mathematics learning outcomes of elementary school students in Makassar City. Therefore, the use of Moodle as a technology-based learning medium needs to be optimized to improve the quality of mathematics learning. Abstract

The existence of regional languages is declining, especially within families. In fact, families are the main source of regional language acquisition for children. Therefore, the authors believe that this situation needs to be addressed. To address this, efforts need to be made through teaching. The first alternative, which is mainly from kindergarten to elementary school, is that regional languages can be used as the language of instruction. However, to implement the first effort, regional languages need to be further developed. Meanwhile, to implement the second effort, the focus of regional language teaching needs to be limited, in addition to the need to improve the quality of existing regional language teachers through technological development, one of which is interactive multimedia-based learning that is in line with the context of language use. The scope of this research is about the current condition of regional languages, ways to save regional languages, and teaching through interactive multimedia as a means of saving regional languages. The method used in this research is qualitative research. The collection technique is triangulation, data analysis is qualitative, and qualitative research results emphasize meaning rather than generalization regarding the revitalization of regional languages through the language of instruction and the application of interactive multimedia. The results of the study state that the application of regional languages as a language of instruction and the development of interactive multimedia can create learning experiences that provide opportunities for students to develop their regional language skills. Abstract

Penelitian ini didasarkan pada masalah rendahnya pemahaman membaca dikalangan peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami dampak pendekatan The Learning Cell pada kemampuan peserta didik kelas V Sekola Dasar Negeri 12 Belinyu dalam memahami bacaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan rancangan pra-eksperimental, terutama rancangan satu kelompok pretest-posttest. Sampel penelitian ini terdiri dari satu kelas V yang beranggotakan 27 peserta didik di SD Negeri 12 Belinyu. Teknik pengumpulan sampel yang digunakan adalah sampel jenuh. Pengumpulan sampel dilakukan dengan menerapkan metode tes berupa soal esai mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia pada materi “Belajar Berwirausaha”. Teknik evaluasi data dilakukan dengan menerapkan tes normalitas Shapiro Wilk serta tes hipotesisi menggunakan Paired Sample T-Test. Kesimpulan kajian ini membuktikan yaitu skor rata-rata pretest lebih kecil daripada nilai rata-rata posttest. Uji hipotesis melalui Paired Sample T-Test menghasilkan nilai signifikasi statistik sebesar 0,000 kurang dari 0,05, yang berarti Ha diterima dan H0 ditolak. Oleh karena itu, dapat disimpulkan yaitu metode The Learning Cell memberikan pengaruh terhadap membaca pemahaman siswa kelas V Sekolah Dasar Negeri 12 Belinyu. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh yang signifikan dari Think Pair Share (TPS) terhadap prestasi belajar siswa di SDN 26 Samasundu, karena model TPS memberikan kesempatan kepada siswa untuk berpikir dan membantu teman sekelasnya. Penelitian dilakukan melalui observasi, dokumentasi, dan penyebaran kuesioner kepada 26 siswa. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan menggunakan uji regresi linier sederhana untuk analisis data. Peneliti menggunakan program pengolah data statistik SPSS tipe 25 untuk menganalisis data ini. Hasil uji regresi menunjukkan bahwa nilai signifikansi 0,000 lebih besar dari probabilitas 5%, sehingga model regresi dapat digunakan untuk memprediksi variabel Think Pair Share (TPS) di SDN 26 Samasundu. Dengan kata lain, ada pengaruh Think Pair Share (x) terhadap prestasi belajar siswa (y). Dengan menggunakan koefisien determinasi (R-squared), uji ini menghasilkan 99,2%, yang menunjukkan pengaruh variabel independen Think Pair Share (TPS) sebesar 99,2% terhadap variabel dependen (Prestasi siswa). Faktor lain yang tidak termasuk dalam penelitian mempengaruhi sisa 0,8%. Kata kunci: Think Pair Share, Prestasi Siswa, Regresi Linier Sederhana

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis adaptasi psikologis anak kelas I sekolah dasar dalam masa transisi dari PAUD pada aspek sosial-emosional dan kognitif. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan mixed method dengan desain sequential explanatory. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 15 anak. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi dan wawancara. Analisis kuantitatif dilakukan secara deskriptif, sedangkan data kualitatif dianalisis secara tematik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan adaptasi psikologis anak berada pada kategori mulai berkembang dengan rata-rata 2,74, terdiri dari aspek sosial-emosional sebesar 2,73 dan kognitif sebesar 2,75. Sebagian besar anak telah mampu berinteraksi, mengikuti aturan, memahami instruksi, dan menyelesaikan tugas, meskipun masih terdapat kendala pada pengendalian emosi dan konsentrasi. Dengan demikian, adaptasi psikologis anak berlangsung secara bertahap dan memerlukan dukungan lingkungan belajar yang sesuai. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis permasalahan yang dihadapi siswa dalam memahami konsep mata pelajaran IPA di sekolah dasar. Pemahaman konsep IPA merupakan aspek penting dalam membangun kemampuan berpikir ilmiah sejak dini, namun pada kenyataannya masih banyak siswa yang mengalami kesulitan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa sekolah dasar, dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, studi dokumentasi, dan studi literatur/artikel penelitian yang terdahulu. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa permasalahan yang dihadapi siswa meliputi rendahnya pemahaman konsep dasar, kesulitan dalam mengaitkan materi dengan kehidupan sehari-hari, serta kurangnya keterlibatan aktif dalam proses pembelajaran. Selain itu, faktor lain yang memengaruhi adalah metode pembelajaran yang masih berpusat pada guru, penggunaan media pembelajaran yang kurang variatif, serta keterbatasan sumber belajar. Kondisi ini menyebabkan siswa cenderung menghafal tanpa memahami makna konsep secara mendalam. Berdasarkan temuan tersebut, disimpulkan bahwa diperlukan strategi pembelajaran yang lebih inovatif, kontekstual, dan berpusat pada siswa, seperti penggunaan metode eksperimen, pembelajaran berbasis proyek, serta pemanfaatan media yang menarik. Dengan demikian, diharapkan pemahaman konsep IPA siswa dapat meningkat dan pembelajaran menjadi lebih bermakna. Kata kunci: Permasalahan belajar; Pembelajaran IPA;  Sekolah Dasar

Abstract

Pembelajaran matematika di tingkat sekolah dasar sering dipandang sebagai mata pelajaran yang sulit dan kurang menarik bagi banyak siswa. Persepsi ini berdampak pada menurunnya motivasi serta capaian belajar mereka. Untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut, diperlukan strategi pembelajaran yang lebih menyenangkan dan mudah dipahami. Artikel ini menyoroti pentingnya menciptakan suasana belajar yang menarik, tujuan dari penerapan pendekatan tersebut, serta strategi konkret yang dapat digunakan, yakni metode perkalian dengan bantuan jari tangan. Metode ini terbukti efektif membantu siswa memahami konsep perkalian angka 6 hingga 10 secara visual dan nyata. Dengan memanfaatkan media yang akrab dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, seperti jari tangan, proses belajar menjadi lebih aktif, menarik, dan sesuai dengan gaya belajar siswa. Pendekatan ini juga berdampak positif terhadap kepercayaan diri siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal matematika tanpa merasa terbebani. Selain itu, pembelajaran yang menyenangkan mampu menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang kolaboratif, mendukung, dan mendorong keterlibatan aktif siswa di kelas. Oleh karena itu, strategi pembelajaran yang menyenangkan menjadi salah satu faktor kunci dalam meningkatkan kualitas dan efektivitas pembelajaran matematika di sekolah dasar. Guru sebagai fasilitator diharapkan terus mengembangkan metode kreatif dan adaptif yang mampu memenuhi kebutuhan belajar siswa secara menyeluruh.
