Abstract

Urban heat island merupakan fenomena perbedaan temperatur antara kawasan urban dan non urban. Fenomena tersebut berpotensi menimbulkan peningkatan kebutuhan energi listrik, intensitas smog, risiko keterpaparan penyakit cardiorespiratory, dan peluang gagal panen. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memodelkan fenomena urban heat island di Kawasan Metropolitan Semarang pada rentang 2000-2020. Model urban heat island diperoleh melalui hasil klasifikasi konversi band thermal citra Landsat 7 dan 8 menjadi temperatur permukaan lahan. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa terjadi peningkatan proporsi luas rentang temperatur 25-30 oC dari 15% pada tahun 2000 menjadi 53,1% pada tahun 2020. Rentang tersebut juga menyebar dari pusat metropolitan ke kawasan periurban di sekitarnya. Pola sebaran yang mirip dengan urbanisasi seperti leap frog, ribbon, dan radial juga ditemukan dalam model urban heat island tahun 2020. Temuan ini diharapkan dapat menjadi masukan dalam kegiatan perencanaan penggunaan lahan dan tindakan mitigasi dampak negatif urban heat island.

Abstract

The existence of urban villages today is inseparable from the threat of urban development, one of which is the Salatiga Mural Village, which was formerly known as a village of thugs and slum areas. In 2019, the Salatiga City Government through the KOTAKU without slums program made the first community-based thematic village in Salatiga City that still has tangible cultural conservation values. The development of this tourist village has a positive goal, namely to improve the socio-cultural and economic welfare of the village to sustain tourism. However, after the development as a tourist village, there was a change in the function and meaning of the village as a place to live into a village that has a tourism function and is open to tourists. These changes are predicted to affect the sense of place of residents in interpreting their place of residence. This study aims to determine the effect of the development of the Salatiga Mural Village on the community's sense of place as a tourist village. The results showed that the physical aspect affected the development of the village from the Poor to Good category. This is influenced by changes in the physical quality of the village environment from slums to a clean and beautiful environment (painting murals) as a tourist village. This study also shows that although the community has a strong attachment if in one aspect of supporting tourism activities (physical) it will affect the psychological comfort of the user so that physical changes cannot be separated from the meaning of the place by the occupants.

Abstract

Pengembangan pariwisata yang dikembangkan di desa tidak hanya meningkatkan peningkatan perekonomian. Di sisi lain juga cenderung cenderung pada alih fungsi lahan pertanian menjadi kegiatan pariwisata yang dinilai lebih menguntungkan. Oleh karena itu, perlu adanya pengelolaan desa wisata yang mampu mensinergikan sektor sebagai kegiatan utama pedesaan dengan pengembangan sektor pariwisata. Desa Borobudur merupakan salah satu desa yang telah mengembangkan desa wisata melalui sinergi antara kegiatan pariwisata dan kegiatan pertanian melalui Svargabumi Tourism. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengembangan Wisata Svargabumi di Desa Borobudur dalam upaya mensinergikan kegiatan pertanian dengan pariwisata.Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan teknik analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik wawancara dan observasi. Hasil Wisata Svargabumi dikembangkan dengan fokus dan prioritas pada pertanian melalui upaya mempertahankan hidup persawahan yang dikelola untuk dijadikan sebagai tempat wisata. Selain itu, keberadaan lahan persawahan tetap dipertahankan sebagai bentuk terpeliharanya kegiatan pertanian meskipun lahan tersebut telah dijadikan lokasi wisata sebagai bentuk sinergitas antara kegiatan pertanian dan pariwisata. Hasilnya, Wisata Svargabumi dikembangkan dengan fokus dan prioritas pada pertanian untuk mempertahankan hidup persawahan yang dikelola untuk dijadikan sebagai daya tarik.Selain itu, keberadaan lahan persawahan tetap dipertahankan sebagai bentuk terpeliharanya kegiatan pertanian meskipun lahan tersebut telah dijadikan lokasi wisata sebagai bentuk sinergitas antara kegiatan pertanian dan pariwisata. Abstract

Abstract: Jangga Dolok Traditional Village is one of the oldest Batak villages in Toba Regency, North Sumatra. This village is approximately 250 years old and was formed communally by a group of people with the same upstream vision. The purpose of this study was to examine the morphological pattern of the village based on local wisdom that developed in accordance with the traditions that have existed since the days of the Jangga Dolok Traditional Village by identifying non-physical factors and physical factors.The results of this study are that according to the traditional elders of Jangga Dolok Village, residential areas should be placed in hilly areas to avoid dangers such as wild animals and disasters. Meanwhile, agricultural areas such as rice fields and fields are in areas with flat topography. If viewed from the pattern of the settlement area, Jangga Dolok Village includes an elongated or linear pattern settlement that is formed following a road pattern with an irregular road network system or an irregular pattern. Based on its morphology, this village is a ribbon shaped city. The most important factor in the development of this village is the transportation route and the pattern of settlement, causing this area to be rectangular or elongated. Jangga Dolok Village which is formed traditionally cannot be separated from the existence of traditions and local wisdom that indirectly help shape the pattern of the village

Abstract

Park is a public space that accommodates the activities of the community, both individuals and communities. Bandung City Hall Park is one of the public spaces in the city of Bandung which has a strategic location. In 2017 the park was still of low quality, then after improvements to the facilities were made and it was inaugurated, the park was getting more and more crowded. However, in the last two years, visitors have provided reviews stating that they are not satisfied with the current condition of the city hall park which certainly affects the comfort of visitors. This study focuses on analyzing the comfort level of Bandung City Hall Park based on the perspective of its visitors. The method used is scoring and descriptive quantitative, while the sampling technique used is simple random sampling. Based on the analysis, it was found that the current level of comfort at the Bandung City Hall Park is 77.67 or is in a good interval. Visitors feel that accessibility, climate comfort, walking comfort, and cleanliness convenience are good. However, there are several things that need to be improved again, namely a sense of security with the addition of lighting and CCTV, seating comfort with additional chairs and seat adjustment according to standards.

Abstract

Sustainable urbanization has led to an overall increase in the world’s population in urban areas. An important spatial characteristic of urbanization is the expansion process of urban regions into their surroundings that transforms peripheral areas into suburban and peri-urban areas. The process is also occurred in Cirebon Regency that is affected by the expansion process of a small- city in Java, that is the City of Cirebon. The urbanization process in the area brings impacts on the widening of urban areas and forming a metropolitan region, formed by the city and the regency. This research aims to analyse urban population growth and their distribution in Cirebon Regency, as part of urbanization process in the region. Using a combination of quantitative and qualitative methods, descriptive statistical analysis, degree of urbanization and spatial analysis, the urbanization and peri-urbanization process were analysed by useing secondary data in the form of village data from all villages in the Cirebon Regency. The So that the peri-urbanization urbanization pattern is formed in Cirebon Regency, which is also characterized by the increasing distribution of population density with the value of population density increasing each period. development of the urban population is influenced by two main factors, internal and external which support the development of rural-urban and urban areas.

Abstract

Jabodetabek with DKI Jakarta as its centre, is a rapidly growing area. Therefore, the DKI Jakarta Provincial government continues to strive to create a Smart City to deal with problems and encourage sustainable city development. One of the concepts in a Smart City is Smart Mobility. Jabodetabek has more than 3 million residents who are commuters. The Transjakarta Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) is a government's effort to realize smart mobility in DKI Jakarta and support movement through the management and technological innovation in public transportation for citizens. The COVID-19 pandemic has caused a drastic decline in the number of public transportation users in the last two years, including BRT Transjakarta. This study aimed to identify aspects of Smart Mobility on BRT Transjakarta Corridor 13 and examine the characteristics and perceptions of commuters towards Smart Mobility of the Transjakarta BRT Corridor 13 during the COVID-19 pandemic. The research resulted in observations from the operations and facilities on the Transjakarta BRT Corridor 13, which were grouped based on the five aspects of Smart Mobility: integration, accessibility, security, flexibility, and efficiency. Socio-economic characteristics and types of movement indicate that these services are used mainly by the productive age group to work, as well as departing from bus stops in Tangerang City with a round-trip type of use. The ease-of-use perception of the five aspects of intelligent mobility resulted in a positive response of 87.2%. Similar results were obtained from the perceived usefulness towards smart mobility aspects of Corridor 13, which resulted in a positive response of 86.6%. Perceived ease-of-use and perceived usefulness of BRT Transjakarta Corridor 13 both resulted in positive response that BRT Transjakarta Corridor 13 if examined from the five aspects of smart mobility (integration, accessibility, security, flexibility, and efficiency) apart from being easy to use, is also beneficial for users who use BRT Transjakarta Corridor 13.

Abstract

The high population density causes residential areas to become dense and irregular. Dense and irregular residential areas create the condition of electricity network seems tangled, it is very prone to causing short circuits which can trigger a residential fire. Samarinda Ulu District has the highest population density in Samarinda City, which has occurred 34 residential fire cases in 2020. Therefore this research was conducted to determine the level of residential fire disaster risk for each sub-district in Samarinda Ulu District based on the analysis results of hazard, vulnerability, and capacity of residential fire disaster. This research used a quantitative method with a matrix approach based on the scoring process through a descriptive statistical analysis to classify the level of residential fire disaster risk. The result of this research found that Jawa and Bukit Pinang Sub-Districts have a high level of residential fire disaster risk in the Samarinda Ulu District. The high level of residential fire disaster risk concludes the area has low resilience to minimize potential damage and losses due to a residential fire disaster caused by the low ability to protect and handlethe fire residential hazard.

Abstract

Pedestrian ways is one of the eight elements of urban design, whose existence becomes an urgency in urban areas. Not only its existence, but its quality must be maintained. Jenderal Sudirman is one of the main roads located in the administrative areas of Central Jakarta, to be precise in the Sudirman Central Business District, where most of Jakarta’s financial and business activity located. Jenderal Sudirman pedestrian ways has been through revitalization from 2018 until 2020, which aims to improve the physical quality of pedestrian ways and public interest in walking. Although the revitalization has been carried out, there are still several problems related to pedestrian safety and convenience. According to one of DKI Jakarta’s visions in 2022, namely towards more walkable city through creating a complete, safe, and comfortable pedestrian ways, that also supports the use of public transportation, as well as creating sustainable city, the attention of most basic human movement in the form of walking needs to be focused. This improvement needs to be supported through a study of the planning and provision of pedestrian ways. Therefore this study will examine the quality of the pedestrian ways based on the physical condition of the pedestrian ways and pedestrian perception. The results of the two analyzes will be assessed using the Pedestrian Environmental Quality Index (PEQI) approach, so that both results can be compared and can complement each other. The PEQI assessment will produce outputs in the form of quality classification and description of post revitalization Jenderal Sudirman pedestrian ways, as well as recommendations in the form of spatial planning based on several deficiency in the results of the assessment.

Abstract

Demand for built-up land will increase due to regional development, which is not directly proportional to the availability of land which does not change or increase. This raises several factors that have an impact on the environment, one of which is the widespread need for land for regional industrial development as a result of increasing economic growth and the continued development of an area. High demand for land will cause an increase in the value or price of land around the development area, one of which is paddy farming land. This study aims to measure the role of industrial development and increase in land prices on the conversion of paddy agricultural land. This research was conducted in Demak Regency, Central Java Province. This research was carried out with a quantitative approach using multiple linear regression by collecting data through document review and literature review related to the factors influencing the conversion of agricultural land functions such as industry and land prices. From the overall analysis, industrial development and an increase in land prices play a role or effect by 30.8% on the conversion of paddy fields in Demak Regency, while 69.2% are influenced by other variables outside the regression equation. Based on the results of this study, industrial development and increasing land prices have a less significant role or influence on the conversion of paddy fields in Demak Regency. This is because there are several other aspects that underlie the conversion of paddy fields in Demak Regency, such as economic, social and physical aspects of nature.
