Abstract

Inclusive education has become a global educational priority, yet many Islamic educational institutions continue to face challenges in providing equitable learning opportunities for students with special educational needs. This study aims to develop an inclusive instructional model for Islamic Religious Education that accommodates learner diversity while maintaining educational quality and Islamic values. A Design-Based Research (DBR) methodology was employed involving curriculum adaptation, teacher training, classroom implementation, and iterative evaluation. Participants included teachers, school administrators, students with special educational needs, and parents from inclusive Islamic schools. Data were analyzed using thematic analysis and descriptive statistics. The findings indicate that differentiated instruction, Universal Design for Learning (UDL), collaborative teaching, assistive technologies, and flexible assessment substantially improve students’ participation, learning achievement, social interaction, and religious engagement. Teachers also reported increased confidence in managing inclusive classrooms. The novelty of this study lies in proposing an Inclusive Islamic Learning Framework that integrates Universal Design for Learning, differentiated pedagogy, and Islamic educational philosophy into a comprehensive model for equitable Islamic Religious Education

Abstract

The rapid expansion of digital technology has significantly transformed Islamic religious education across formal and informal learning contexts. This article explores Islamic Religious Education (IRE) in the digital era through a multidisciplinary lens, integrating pedagogy, educational technology, and ethical studies. It examines how digital tools reshape teaching strategies, learning interactions, and moral development within Islamic education. By analyzing contemporary digital practices, the study highlights both opportunities—such as increased accessibility and learner engagement—and challenges, including ethical concerns and value preservation. The findings emphasize the need for balanced integration between technological innovation and Islamic ethical principles to ensure meaningful and value-oriented learning outcomes

Abstract

Educational transformation continues to evolve beyond Education 4.0 and Society 5.0 toward the emerging concept of Education 6.0, emphasizing intelligent technologies, sustainability, global citizenship, and holistic human development. Islamic Religious Education must proactively respond to this paradigm shift while preserving its foundational spiritual and ethical principles. This study aims to reconstruct the future paradigm of Islamic Religious Education by integrating artificial intelligence, sustainability education, spiritual intelligence, and transformative pedagogy. A qualitative conceptual research design employing systematic literature review and theoretical synthesis was conducted. The findings suggest that future Islamic education should prioritize adaptive learning, AI-assisted instruction, interdisciplinary curriculum design, ecological responsibility, ethical digital citizenship, and lifelong spiritual development. The proposed framework positions Islamic education as a catalyst for producing globally competent, technologically literate, morally responsible, and spiritually grounded learners capable of addressing future societal challenges. The novelty of this study is the formulation of the Education 6.0 Islamic Learning Ecosystem, a comprehensive theoretical model integrating emerging technologies, sustainable education, human-centered innovation, and Islamic educational philosophy as the foundation for the future of Islamic Religious Education

Abstract

Fiscal and monetary policy are the main instruments used by the government to manage a country's economy. Fiscal policy in Islam focuses on managing state revenues and expenditures in accordance with the principles of justice and social welfare. State revenues in the form of Zakat, Jizyah, and Kharaj are used to fund expenditures that support equitable economic and social development, such as equitable distribution of wealth and fulfillment of basic needs of the community. Monetary policy in an Islamic perspective is a practice to avoid usury (interest) and encourage the use of financial instruments based on the principle of profit sharing and real trade. The central bank in the Islamic economic system functions to ensure monetary stability through controlling the amount of money supply and maintaining the value of the currency with a mechanism that does not contain elements of usury. These two policies must be carried out in synergy to achieve the objectives of sustainable economic development, price stability and fair distribution of wealth in accordance with sharia principles. The implementation of fiscal and monetary policies in accordance with Islamic teachings is expected to provide an economic system that prioritizes justice and is able to face global economic challenges while upholding Islamic values.

Abstract

This study investigates strategies for reconstructing inclusive Islamic education to ensure equitable learning opportunities for students with disabilities in contemporary madrasahs. A qualitative library research approach was employed through a systematic analysis of literature concerning inclusive education, Islamic educational philosophy, disability studies, and educational equity. The findings indicate that Islamic teachings strongly support inclusive educational practices grounded in justice, compassion, equality, and respect for human dignity. However, challenges remain regarding teacher preparedness, curriculum adaptation, accessibility, and institutional policy. The study proposes an Inclusive Islamic Pedagogical Framework integrating universal design for learning, differentiated instruction, Islamic ethical values, and collaborative educational support systems. The novelty of this study lies in presenting a comprehensive conceptual framework that bridges Islamic educational philosophy with contemporary inclusive education principles to improve educational access and participation for learners with disabilities
