Abstract

Steady State Modeling has been done hot springs Diwak-Derekan using Hydrotherm 2.2 software which aims to model numerically geothermal system Diwak-Derekan in Steady State conditions. The results form the output of Hydrothrem 2.2 Temperature Distribution and visualization of the data carried Temperature Distribution.Extent of the study area is 16 km x 16 km, where there is a buffer area in the outer portion of the study area. then made construction research area consisting of several slice and block research. Used topographic data using secondary data, and topographic data modeling made in accordance with the slice. Each slice of the construction area made initial research model that contains the physical parameters. Due to the limitations of the data parameters of physics, then some physical parameters of the data analogous to data from Mount Merapi and soil mechanics research data Diponegoro University Dam, physical parameters and the data is made in the form of program listings in the form of input for software Hydrothrem which Hydrotherm Software run the program until the year to 200,000 by year interval 10,000 years.The results of data visualization is seen that the temperature distribution for the data in the year to 80,000 and so no change is significant, this indicates that in the year to 80,000 already reached Steady State conditions. Khono (2000) said, geothermal system reach steady state condition between 200.000-500.000 years, its because using analogical data from Merapi Vulcano and ground mechanic Diponegoro University dam. Manifestations of geothermal systems around the emergence of hot water Diwak-Derekan a geothermal system associated with sediments. This is confirmed by studies based on the gravity method which is done around the study area, where there are faults trending down southwest - northeast parallel to Kali and Kali Jumbleng Klampok, where after a qualitative interpretation there are 4 layers of rock, where the top layer is sediment layer has a depth of about 3 km.Keywords: geothermal, fault, Distributions Temperature, geothermal systems, Steady State.

Abstract

Based on data from the World Health Organization, showed that liver disease in Indonesia is in endemic high ranks. Early diagnosis of liver disease is very necessary for prevention and minimize the risk of liver disease. Research has been conducted on 28 patients on the biodistribution test of the liver scan using in vivo nuclear medicine technique that aims to determine the accumulation of counts Tc99m Sulfur Colloid in the body's metabolism, the percentage uptake activity in the heart, spleen, kidney, bladder, and liver as the target organ. The study was conducted using Tc99m obtained from elution of Mo99 generator and mixed with sulfur colloid. Tc99m allows a radiopharmaceutical can be detected and known location and sulfur colloid to determine where the target of radiopharmaceutical is accumulated. Liver scan is performed by injecting Tc99m Sulfur Colloid intravenously into the patient's arm as much as 2- 6mCi. Furthermore, the anterior posterior planar imaging in abdominal cavity at 5 minutes and 1 hour after injection of the patient by using a gamma camera. Determining the state of liver function can be seen from the percentage uptake activity at 5 minutes and 1 hour, the shape and size of the heart which can be evaluated from the image obtained. Biodistribution of  Tc99m Sulfur Colloid showed a high percentage of the liver after 5 minutes and 1 hour. Based on the value percentage uptake activity obtained, there were 18 patients with a normal liver and 10 patients with abnormal liver. Keywords: Tc99m Sulfur Colloid, liver scan, nuclear medicine, gamma camera

Abstract

MRI sequence difference produces different images. Sequence T1 weighted image (T1WI)  uses to assess the anatomical image. To produce TI Weighted Image needs low TE ( time Echo) lower than 50 ms and low TR (Time Repetition) lower than 1500 ms. To produce a good image needs high contrast in order to differentiate tissues was examined. The purpose of this research is to know CNR maximum and contrast efficiency that accepted.CNR value was obtained by measuring SNR white matter and gray matter for every image MRI Head T1WI with TR variation. The TR was used is 100 ms until 1500 ms with range 100 ms every image. Contrast efficiency value obtained by dividing the value of CNR with the square root of the scan time. The CNR maximum value that has been obtained from this research is 40,55 in TR 800 ms. While contrast efficiency value that has been obtained is 2,57 in TR 600 ms. Keywords: MRI, T1 Weighted Image, CNR optimum, contrast efficiency

Abstract

Excess total blood cholesterol can lead to heart vessel disorders, stroke and the most fatal can result in death. While testing the cholesterol levels in the blood at this time still use the invasive technique that the patient's blood is taken by using a syringe. This is one of the obstacles / causes of some patients are reluctant to check blood cholesterol. One of the health technologies to detect blood cholesterol in non-invasive is by utilizing the absorption of near infrared ray (NIR) and laser. The change in the physical properties of the resistance shows the chemical content of different solutions. Preparation of non-invasive blood cholesterol gauge by utilizing oxymeter sensor capable of producing voltage changes in various liquid medium and Atmega 8535 microcontroller as a minimum system in controlling output value in digital data form. The system or equipment to be fabricated in this study is a non-invasive method (without injuring the patient's body while taking blood samples) to determine the blood cholesterol content by utilizing the physical properties of laser absorption or NIR sensors on various blood cholesterol levels. From the research results have been made series of sensor interfaces and serial data communications are displayed digitally. The test results show that the equipment made has shown good performance but still limited its performance test. The results of the research will be developed into a national program of providing cheap, non-invasive portable and movable health test kits. Abstract

 Designed of software application half value layer (HVL) which uses digital image processing has been use measurement HVL of X-ray conventional that is designed by using Borland Delphi 7.0 program. The system used as a simple tool for quality control (QC) of output X-ray.The firs step which is done to bring about software application is designing application image cropping, designing application open image, then designing applicationof pixel intensity value and designing application HVL. The step of software application usage is firstly expose phantom stepwedge by using X-ray conventional, secondly, process the expose result so it produces image radiographygray scale, thirdly,process digital imageby using scanner, save image digital with bitmap format, then process image by using software application.From measuring the result of four digital images gray scale obtained HVL average of value is 2.04 mmAl. Beside that, the measurement is also done four time using the standart tool Multipurpose detector (MPD,) obtained HVL average of value is 1,97 mmAL, from both datas it process deviation value 0,07 and relative research is 99,97 % for software application. So it can be conclude that digital image processing can be used to count HVL X-ray conventional. Key words   :Digital image radiography, image cropping, pixel intensity, half value layer (HVL).

Abstract

Multipel in marine seismic data is the noise formed due to the high impedance contrast at he boundary between layer. Multipel interfers the data processing that will also affect the interpretation of subsurface image. Radon transformation is one of the methods to attenuate the multipel. Radon transformation method is to transform the data of the domain time-offset (t-x) into a domain intercept time- ray parameter (τ-p). Primary wave and multipel will be separated with muting desain in domain (τ-p). At the end of this study to compare the result stacking preprocessing and stacking Radon. The result of the research shows that multipel in time 190-200 ms are attenuated.

Abstract

In this study, the most responsible parameters on polarization in total natural vegetable oils and fats have been investigated by determination of the relation between the polarization change and fatty acids (FA) composition. The change of light polarization was simply measured by using a pair of polarizer-analyser to indicate oil quality level, and the FA composition was obtained by using Gas Chromatography and Mass Spectrometer (GCMS) method. Various vegetable oils and fats were examined without any preliminary treatments. The experimental condition of the samples during measurement was assumed to be constant. It has been shown that various oils and fats have different angle of change of polarization, which indicates various oil quality level relative to each other, in agreement to the previous works. Especially for vegetable oils, high change of polarization has been considered as low quality of oil. The long chain of saturated fatty acids (SFA) and unsaturated fatty acids (UFA), which are distributed at third position (R3) and first position (R1) of triglycerides (TG) molecules, are responsible for the change of polarization and presented as a linear combination of the number of SFA or UFA. The result shows that the polarization could be used as powerful method for preliminary detection of oil quality level. The highest number of coefficient of C19:0 in lard indicates that this method has provided good prospect to evaluate the halal level of oil due to lard contamination.Keywords—polarization, triglyceride (TG), saturated fatty acid (SFA), unsaturated fatty acids (UFA)

Abstract

Has conducted research on dielectric barrier discharge plasma applications configured with spiral – chylindrical electrodes to generate ozone free air source. Purpose of this study was to determine the effect of ozone dissolved in water quality through pH, hardness ( CaCO3 ), and total coliform in the waterin the eastern part of the village Gemah.             Electrodes used in this study has a diameter of 3 cm and a length of 15cm. Plasma generation using AC voltage with a voltage of 7 kV. Air flow velocity used 5,5 L/min with a volume of water that will be treated with ozone as much as 1 liter. Dissolved ozone free air is obtained by incorporating into the DBD reactor, out of the reactor, ozone is formed, and flowed into the water. Dissolved ozone concentration were determined by varying the time and use a constant voltage.            The result showed the concentration of dissolved ozone diminishing increments. pH values tend to be fixed and not affected by ozone treatment of water. Water hardness value decreased slightly and the number of total coliform as a whole are likely to remain. Keywords :electrode spiral-cylindrical, dielectric barrier discharge, dissolved ozone concentrate, CaCO3, total coliform, pH.

Abstract

Naphthalene (C10H8) and anthracene (C14H10) are simetric organic matter. Both of them predicted didn’t have electrooptic characteristic. That characteristic will appear if we induce them with external electric field. In the examination, it was used source light incandescent lamp 100 W. The external electric field generated by HV DC generator of 0-7 kV. The electrooptics characteristic was determined by measuring the change of polarization angle of light as it passed through the difference concentration of naphthalene and anthracene while they were applied by external electric field.Based on the result of observation,  change of polarization angle of the light was increasing at each different potential between naphthalene (range 0,30 – 10) and anthracene (range 0,10 - 0,70). Beside that, changes of polarization angle of the light was increase linearly to the increase of naphthalene concentration, while anthracene was not. These results consider for more research to do with alternative organic materials in photonic devices.

Abstract

Measurement on the grey level on a plane fluoroscopy has done using processing image digital methods. The research aims to create computer software that is used to calculate the value of the image of grey level to test linierity gray level image fluoroscopy. The research can be used to help improve the quality of medical services as well as help in establishing the diagnosis.The research is done with exposed the panthom leeds test object gray scale laid between an x-ray source and image intensifier. This exposed done with variation voltage tube between 40 kvp to 63 kvp. Phantom which exposed are generates an image in the form of DICOM, then transferred to analyzed gray level using a computer. On the stage analysis made a computer program by using matlab consisting of the subroutine is: load citra DICOM, then taking an area ROI in each step, in regions ROI grey value in the average level of the voltage lowest 40 kvp until with voltage kvp, 63 its average value at one voltage a tube made a graph linierity between grey level step, with the level of then determine the equation linieritas and value of the coefficients correlation.The results obtained in research shows all variation in voltage tube having tested linierity high with indicated value of a coefficient correlation approaching +1 panthom used against image. The lowest in voltage to the voltage tests indicating the highest level linierity good increasingly. In voltage lowest voltage tube 40 kvp obtained linear equations y= 3.078x-3.461 with a coefficient correlation 0,8624 and in voltage highest earned 64 kvp in a linear equation y= 5.480x+10.431 with a coefficient correlation 0,9968. These results also indicated that gray level as part of software based matlab can be used to know the value of an image linierityf luoroskopi.Keywords: gray level, digital images, fluoroscopy image, DICOM, linierity
