Abstract

The Kartu Indonesia Pintar (KIP) program is a government initiative aimed at supporting students from economically disadvantaged families in obtaining proper educational opportunities. However, the distribution of KIP assistance is often considered inaccurate due to the complexity of determining eligible recipients based on multiple criteria. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Naïve Bayes algorithm in predicting KIP recipients at Pelita Bangsa University. The research applies a data mining approach using several variables, including attendance, academic grades, parental dependents, housing conditions, and parents’ income. The dataset used in this study consists of 50 student data records that were processed through data selection and preprocessing stages before classification. The Naïve Bayes method was implemented and tested using the RapidMiner application to evaluate classification performance. The results show that the proposed model achieved an accuracy level of 96% with an error rate of 4%. In addition, evaluation using the Receiver Operating Characteristic (ROC) Curve produced an Area Under Curve (AUC) value of 0.979, indicating excellent classification capability. The findings demonstrate that the Naïve Bayes algorithm is effective and suitable for supporting objective decision-making in determining KIP assistance recipients based on predefined socioeconomic criteria.

Abstract

This study addresses the challenges faced by beginner students in learning programming, particularly the lack of continuous practice and timely feedback. Programming requires an iterative learning process, yet many existing learning environments still rely on delayed and manual evaluation, which limits students’ ability to improve effectively. To overcome this issue, this research aims to develop a web-based programming practice system equipped with automated feedback.The system was developed using a structured approach and integrates an interactive coding environment, automated evaluation mechanisms, and real-time feedback features. It allows students to write, execute, and submit code directly through the platform while receiving immediate responses based on predefined test cases and code analysis.The results show that the proposed system functions effectively in supporting programming practice for beginner learners. The system demonstrates strong performance in terms of usability, response time, and feedback accuracy. In addition, the availability of instant feedback encourages students to engage in repeated practice, which contributes to improved problem-solving skills and learning motivation.This study concludes that integrating web-based learning with automated feedback provides a practical and scalable solution for programming education. The system not only enhances learning efficiency but also reduces the dependency on manual assessment. Future development may focus on improving feedback depth and personalization to better support conceptual understanding.

Abstract

The increasing use of web-based e-learning platforms has significantly influenced the way learning activities are conducted in modern education. However, many platforms still face challenges related to usability, system performance, and reliability, which may affect user satisfaction and learning effectiveness. Therefore, evaluating the quality of e-learning systems is essential to ensure that they meet user expectations and support learning processes effectively. This study aims to assess the quality of a web-based e-learning platform using the ISO/IEC 25010 model combined with an end-user questionnaire approach. A quantitative method was applied, and data were collected from 30 respondents consisting of students and instructors. The evaluation focused on four main quality characteristics: functional suitability, usability, reliability, and performance efficiency. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistical methods to determine the overall quality level of the system. The results show that the e-learning platform achieved an overall average score of 4.03, which falls into the “good” category. Functional suitability obtained the highest score, indicating that the system effectively meets user needs. Meanwhile, performance efficiency received the lowest score, suggesting that improvements are needed in system response time and resource optimization. In conclusion, the evaluated e-learning platform demonstrates a satisfactory level of quality in supporting online learning activities. However, further improvements are required, particularly in terms of system performance, to enhance user experience and overall effectiveness.

Abstract

The rapid development of Artificial Intelligence has created new opportunities to improve learning processes in higher education. One of the emerging technologies is the educational chatbot, which can provide interactive, flexible, and immediate assistance to students during independent study activities. In database courses, many students experience difficulties in understanding abstract concepts such as normalization, table relationships, keys, entity relationship diagrams, and Structured Query Language (SQL). Limited classroom time and differences in student learning pace often make it difficult for lecturers to provide continuous support for all learners. This study aims to implement a chatbot-based learning assistant to support students’ understanding of database concepts. The research employed an applied research approach with a system implementation design. Data were collected through observation, questionnaires, and documentation, while the system was developed using the Waterfall model consisting of requirement analysis, design, implementation, testing, and deployment stages. The results indicate that the chatbot was successfully implemented as a web-based learning tool and received positive evaluations from students in terms of usefulness, ease of use, accessibility, response quality, and support for conceptual understanding, with an overall mean score of 4.33 in the very good category. The chatbot helped students obtain immediate explanations, review course materials, and better understand important database topics. The study concludes that chatbot technology can function as an effective supplementary learning assistant that complements traditional teaching and creates a more flexible learning environment in higher education.

Abstract

The increasing use of mobile technology has encouraged many institutions and organizations to adopt mobile attendance applications as a practical solution for recording attendance activities. However, the success of such applications depends not only on their technical functionality but also on user satisfaction. This study aims to analyze the quality of a mobile attendance application using selected dimensions of ISO/IEC 25010 and user satisfaction measurement. The research employed a quantitative descriptive method by collecting data through questionnaires and direct observation. The evaluated dimensions included Functional Suitability, Performance Efficiency, Usability, Reliability, Security, and Portability, followed by overall user satisfaction assessment. The results showed that the application achieved an average score of 82.1%, categorized as Very Good. Functional Suitability obtained the highest score, indicating that the application features effectively support attendance activities. Meanwhile, Performance Efficiency and Reliability received relatively lower scores, suggesting the need for further improvement in system speed and stability. User satisfaction was also rated highly, demonstrating positive acceptance of the application among users. The findings confirm that combining ISO/IEC 25010 with user satisfaction measurement provides a comprehensive evaluation approach that captures both technical quality and user experience. This study may serve as a reference for developers and institutions in improving the effectiveness and acceptance of mobile attendance systems.

Abstract

Micro retail enterprises often face challenges in managing inventory and sales due to their reliance on manual recording systems, which can lead to data inaccuracies, inefficiencies, and delays in decision-making. This study aims to design and implement a web-based inventory and sales management system to address these issues and improve operational performance. This research adopts a system development approach using the Waterfall model, which includes requirement analysis, system design, implementation, and testing. Data were collected through interviews and observations to understand the existing business processes and identify user needs. The system was developed as a web-based application that integrates inventory management and sales transactions into a single platform. The results show that the implemented system significantly improves data accuracy, reduces transaction processing time, and enables real-time report generation. The integration of inventory and sales functions helps minimize discrepancies and enhances overall efficiency in business operations. In conclusion, the proposed system provides a practical and effective solution for micro retail enterprises by offering a user-friendly, accessible, and scalable platform to manage inventory and sales activities.

Abstract

Basic Programming is one of the fundamental courses in computer science education, yet many beginner students experience difficulties in understanding programming concepts due to limited feedback, lack of personalized guidance, and challenges in debugging code. Conventional learning methods often rely on lectures and static learning materials, which are often insufficient to support interactive and adaptive learning processes. This study aims to develop an AI-Assisted Learning Media for Basic Programming Courses using a web-based platform integrated with a Large Language Model (LLM) and supporting machine learning techniques. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the Waterfall model, including requirement analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and evaluation stages. The developed system integrates programming materials, coding exercises, intelligent tutoring support, debugging assistance, and learning progress monitoring into a single platform. The results show that the LLM-based tutoring model achieved better performance than the XGBoost model, with an accuracy of 0.91, precision of 0.89, recall of 0.90, and F1-score of 0.89. These findings indicate that AI-assisted learning media can improve programming education by providing adaptive learning support, real-time tutoring, and effective feedback for beginner students.

Abstract

PT Cahaya Lautmas Djaya still manages several logistics activities through a semi-manual and fragmented workflow, including WhatsApp groups, Google Forms, Microsoft Excel, and physical documents. This condition causes operational problems such as slow request order approval, stock discrepancies, document mismatch, delayed material return handling, weak data control, and the risk of local data loss. This study aims to design a web-based logistics management information system using PIECES analysis to support more integrated logistics operations between the Palembang head office and the Sungai Baung site. This study used a descriptive system design approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation of the current logistics process. The current system was analyzed using the PIECES framework, covering Performance, Information, Economics, Control, Efficiency, and Service aspects. The proposed system was modeled using Data Flow Diagram and Entity Relationship Diagram to describe data flow and database structure. The results show that the proposed system integrates digital request order, real-time approval, purchasing, QR Code-based delivery note, material tracking, automatic inventory update, return handling, access control, and cloud-based backup. The DFD design describes the flow of logistics data among users, processes, and data storage, while the ERD design supports structured relationships among users, materials, request orders, delivery notes, stock records, tracking data, and return transactions. The proposed system is expected to improve data accuracy, operational efficiency, document control, warehouse monitoring, and coordination between the head office and the site. This study is limited to the analysis and design stage; therefore, further research is recommended to continue with system implementation, black-box testing, user acceptance testing, and performance evaluation.

Abstract

The rapid development of digital governance has transformed the way governments deliver public services to citizens. In Indonesia, local governments are increasingly adopting web-based platforms to improve administrative efficiency, service accessibility, transparency, and public participation. Palembang City, as one of the largest metropolitan regions in South Sumatra, has implemented several digital public service websites to support municipal administration and citizen interaction. These digital platforms include civil registration services, licensing systems, public complaint portals, and public information services. Despite these technological advancements, many challenges remain regarding usability, accessibility, information quality, responsiveness, and citizen satisfaction. This study aims to evaluate the quality performance of Palembang public service websites using the System Usability Scale (SUS) integrated with the E-Government Service Quality framework This research applies a quantitative descriptive evaluation method involving 120 respondents consisting of citizens who actively use municipal public service websites. Data collection was conducted through questionnaires, direct observation, structured interviews, and system performance testing. The evaluation focuses on five main quality dimensions: usability, information quality, responsiveness, accessibility, and citizen satisfaction. Statistical analysis includes reliability testing, usability score calculation, descriptive interpretation, and comparative evaluation The results indicate that the average usability score of Palembang public service websites reached 72.4, categorized as “Good” according to SUS standards. Information quality received a score of 84.1%, responsiveness scored 79.5%, accessibility achieved 81.2%, and citizen satisfaction reached 80.6%. However, several weaknesses remain, particularly related to interface consistency, mobile optimization, and delayed service feedback mechanisms. The study concludes that while Palembang’s digital public services demonstrate acceptable performance, further improvement is required to achieve higher citizen trust and digital governance maturity.
