Abstract

This research is motivated the need for a good performance for the Company's employees Otobus Jaya Indah as buses. The existence of this Indah Jaya Otobus Company as a tourist bus service providers located in Semarang need to be considered, as should be well prepared in every way to support the existence of PO. The Indah Jaya. This study aimed to examine the influence of discipline, leadership styles, and motivation on the performance of the Company's employees Otobus Jaya Indah Semarang.This study uses census techniques with a sample of the population amounted to 50 Company employees Otobus Jaya Indah Semarang. The analytical method used is multiple linear regression. Results of the study found that the regression equation as follows: Y = 0447 X1 + 0.456 X2 + 0.639 X3.Based on statistical data analysis, indicators in this study are valid and reliable. In the classic assumption test, regression model multicoloniarityfree, does not occur heteroskedastisitas, and normal distribution. The biggest variable is the variable of motivation at 0.639, whereas the smallest variable variable discipline at 0.447. Results of the study found that all independent variables positive and significant effect on the dependent variable.

Abstract

One of the dominant factors for providing customer service is the satisfaction of consumers. Efforts must be made to satisfy customer needs profitably (win-win), the state in which both sides feel to win and no one harmed. Preservation of customer satisfaction with the company's sales volume is expected to be maintained, and even increased. Allegedly the factors that influence consumer satisfaction in this study, among others; affordability, product quality, product design and product reliability.The theory is used to generalize is as stated by Dutka (2010) which says that the product attributes of customer satisfaction are universally include 1) the value price relatons, 2) product quality, 3) product benefits, 4) product features, 5) product Deign, 6) product reliability and consistency, and 7) range of product or service. Dutka signal taken from the 4 factors of product attributes that are considered influential on consumer satisfaction Rotiboy, for reasons related data avaibilitas and visibility of the object, namely; affordability, product quality, product design and product reliability. Thus, the hypothesis is "a positive influence variables affordability, product quality, product design and reliability of the product simultaneously on consumer satisfaction Rotiboy".The research sample of 100 respondents drawn from consumers who shop at Rotiboy Mal Ciputra Semarang, who previously made provision sample size calculation formula Slovin. Sampling using accidental sampling technique. With the tempo of deployment questionnaire that takes about 20 days, then the 100th questionnaire further processed and analyzed.Based on statistical calculations with SPSS, then the inference is variable affordability, product quality, product design and reliability of products collectively or partially, affects customer satisfaction (Y). Thus H1 through H5 is received at the level of 95 percent. Referring to the research results of the four independent variables the study, the four independent variables of research, namely affordability, product quality, product design and reliability of products contributing to customer satisfaction is still possible to be improved, in which the variable quality of products has the most dominant influence on consumer satisfaction.

Abstract

Every company wants consumers can re-purchase the company. Therefore, employers race - the race to attract consumers of various segments in accordance with the target market. This is done to make consumers who have come in and buy food at the restaurant, are interested in coming back to the restaurant one is Holycow in Semarang. Problems that occur in Holycow is there a decrease in the number of sales and an increase in the number of complaints during the end  year 2014 and in the year 2015, which indicates an increase in customer dissatisfaction which cause customers not interested in re-purchase. Prasurvey based on the results that have been done, it can take several variables thought to influence the the image of the restaurant is customer satisfaction, and the perception of price. The purpose of this study was to analyze the factors that affect the image of the restaurant and customer repurchase intention Holycow Semarang.The study population was all subscribers restaurant Holycow Semarang. The sampling method used in this research is purposive sampling method. The sample used in this study were 96 people Holycow Semarang restaurant customers. The data used are primary data using questionnaires. The analysis technique used is the analysis path analysis with Sobel test.Based on this research results by using determination , the image of the restaurant is able to be explained by two variables: customer satisfaction and perception of prices by 76.6 % . Buying interest re able to be explained by the perception and image of the restaurant price of 71.7 %

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of distress risk, size, book to market, and momentum toward stock return and to know the O-score prediction model in stock return of basic industry sector and consumer goods industry sector in Indonesia. Case study on basic industry sector and consumer goods industry sector in Indonesia Stock Exchange in period 2009-2014.Research population used is  basic industry sector and consumer goods industry sector in Indonesia in period 2009-2014. Taken samples of the all-purpose 32 firms by using porposive sampling method. The data used in this study were obtained from the Indonesia Capital Market Directory (ICMD), Yahoo Finance, Bloomberg, and www.idx.com 2009-2014. Analysis technique used is Ordinary Least Square (OLS) Regression, statistical t-test and classic assumption test that includes a test of normality test, multicollinearity test, heteroskedastisitas test, autocorrelation test.The result shows in bacis industry sector that distress risk and size has positive effect but not significant with stock return, book to market has negative effect but not significant with stock return, and momentum has positive effect and significant with stock return. The result of regression estimation show the ability of model prediction is 17.7% while the remaining 82.3% influenced by other factors outside the model.Moreover, in consumer goods industry sector shows that distress risk and size has positive effect but not significant with stock return, book to market has negative effect but not significant with stock return, and momentum has positiveeffect and significant with stock return. The result of regression estimation show the ability of model prediction is 17.7% while the remaining 82.3% influenced by other factors outside the model.Chow test indicated that there was no any difference on regression model between basic industry sector and consumer goods industry sector  in Indonesia in period 2009-2014. The chow test shows that F value was lower than F table, that was 1.341189 > 10.127.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the phenomenon of employee performance declined at the Great Hall of the Basin Pemali Juana. The reduced performance is due to the employee for breach of discipline, uneven workload and work environment that is less comfortable. The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of labor discipline, workload and work environment to employee performance Great Hall of the Basin Pemali Juana.Analysis of the data used in this study is descriptive and quantitative. The sampling in research using techniques Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling. The data was collected using a questionnaire distributed to 69 employee of  Great Hall of the Basin Pemali Juana. Based on the  multiple linear regression test, the results show that the work discipline have a positive relationship and a significant influence on the employee performance. Work environment has a positive and significant impact on the employee performance. While the workload has a positive relationship, but no significant effect on the employee performance.

Abstract

Human resources play an important role in a company since human is the determiner of the company. Company’s success is measured by the performance of employees. High employee performance makes the success of the company is also getting higher. The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of job insecurity and compensation satisfaction on turnover intention and the effect on  employee performance.            The population in this study were employees of PDAM Kabupaten Semarang. This study was conducted by distributing questionnaires to a sample of 79 employee using purposive sampling techniques. Data analysis method used is multiple linear regression analysis. Mechanical testing data used this study include the path analysis and sobel test to test the effect of mediation.The result showed that job insecurity positive and significant influence to turnover intention, compensation satisfaction negative and significant influence to turnover intention, turnover intention negative and significant influence to employee performance, job insecurity negative and significant influence to employee performance, and compensation satisfaction positive and significant influence to employee performance.

Abstract

Travelling is now a secondary need or even a primay need due to the increasing economic welfare of society. As a result, there are a lot of travel packages both domestic and international destination offered by travel agents and low-cost airplane. Hajj and Umroh travel package is one of many package that has a significant increase. A large number of muslim population make travel agents compete to offer their services. PT Farfaza Astatama is one of many travel agents that offers Hajj and Umrah travel package. This study aims to determine whether the core and peripheral quality service affect the customers satisfaction resulting in the customers referral intention in PT Farfaza Astatama.Total of sample used on this research were 400 respondents. The respondents are those who ever used the service of PT Farfaza astatama. The questionnaires were distributed from June 2015 to August 2015. Data collected from the questionnaires was then processed using multiple regression method.The results showed that the variable quality of core services and service quality peripherals positive and significant effect on the variable satisfaction. Variable service quality peripherals greatest impact on satisfaction variable and indirect influence on the referral intention, followed by the variable quality of the core service and satisfaction.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the effects arising from the brand associations, brand awareness, and brand image on brand equity and its influence on brand loyalty from sport shoes brand Nike. The variables used in this study is brand associations, brand awareness, and brand image as an independent variable, then the brand equity as an intervening variable and brand loyalty as the dependent variable. The sample in this study were 200 respondents that came from residents in the city of Semarang, who ever used and purchased sport shoes brand Nike.The method used is purposive sampling by distributing questionnaires to the respondents. In this study developed a theoretical model to propose seven hypotheses to be tested using analysis tools Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) which is operated through a program AMOS 20.0. Based on the research of data processing SEM for full model has met the criteria of goodness of fit as follows, the value of chi-square = 100,855; probability = 0,058; RMSEA = 0,041; CMIN/DF = 1,261; GFI = 0,913; TLI = 0,986; CFI = 0,989; NFI = 0,951, and a marginal criteria which is AGFI = 0,870. With the result that it can be said that this model is feasible to be used. The results showed that the brand loyalty can be improved by increasing brand awareness affect the brand equity as a determinant of success increase brand loyalty.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the research gap and phenomena that exist in PT. Poliplas Indah Sejahtera. This study aims to analyze the effect of transformational leadership style and organizational culture on employee job satisfaction.This study uses a transformational leadership style and organizational culture as an independent variable, and employee job satisfaction as the dependent variable. Based on the formula Slovin, respondents drawn in this study were as many as 80 employees. Processing data using multiple linear regression.            Based on the results of instrument test, the indicators used in this study proved to be valid and reliable. Based on the classic assumption test, there is no symptoms of multicollinearity, heteroscedasticity does not happen, and the data can be distributed normally. Based on the multiple linear regression test, transformational leadership style and organizational culture has a positive and significant impact on employee job satisfaction at PT. Poliplas Indah Sejahtera, either partially or simultaneously. Linear regression equation of the relationship between the variables in this study are: Y = 0,436X1 + 0,196X2.

Abstract

Investment in the capital market especially stocks required an analysis in order to achieve the goal of getting the maximum return with a certain risk level. Analysis at the global or domestic macroeconomic level is one of an analysis step that needed to be done. In the previous studies, there are research gaps related to the relationship of global macroeconomic variables or domestic with the movement of the stock price index property. This study aimed to analyze the factors that affect the property stock price index.            The method’s steps in this research are descriptive analysis; stationarity test; Generalized AutoRegressive Conditional Heteroscedasticity model analysis (GARCH); best model selection test (Akaike information Criterion (AIC) test, Schwarz Criterion test (SC) and significance test); classical assumption test (normality test, heteroskedasticity test, multicolinearity test and autocorrelation test); also hypothesis testing (R2 test, F test, z test) using Eviews 8 program. This study has 108 samples using monthly data from 2006-2014 for each variables.            The output of this research indicate that the GARCH (1,1) is the best model that can explain the influence of global macroeconomic variables and also domestic macroeconomic against the property stock price index. Based on the hypothesis testing results, it shows that the BI rate has a negative and significant impact on the property stock price index. Exchange rates, DJIA index, NIKKEI 225 index and world gold prices has a positive and significant impact on the property stock price index. Meanwhile, inflation, the Fed rate and world oil prices have no significant effect on the property stock price index.
