Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of operating cost, credit risk, risk aversion, and opportunity cost to Net Interest Margin (NIM) of banks in Indonesia and to knowing the difference of Net Interest Margin (NIM) in three groups of bank which are state owned banks, regional development banks, and foreign exchange commercial banks. The data used in this research were obtained from the published financial statements during the periods 2011-2014. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. Sample in this research there were 25 banks, which are 4 state owned banks, 8 regional development banks, and 13 foreign exchange commercial banks. Data is analized using multiple linear regression and linear regression analysis with dummy variables to determine differences Net Interest Margin (NIM) of three groups banks with significance level of 5%. Results of this research show that operating cost and risk aversion have significant positive effect on NIM. Credit risk has significant negative effect on NIM. However opportunity cost has no significant effect on NIM. NIM owned by Foreign Exchange Commercial Banks were 131,6% lower than other groups.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze how much influence the product attribute, product quality and sales promotions to customers' interest in saving Bank Jateng Cabang Kordinator Semarang. This study also aims to analyze whether the variable image of the company is able to mediate variable product attribute, product quality and sales promotion of the interests of saving.The population used in this study are active customers who are conducting transactions at Bank Jateng Cabang Kordinator Semarang. Samples in this study of 100 respondents and the technique used is the technique of Non-probability sampling with accidental sampling approach (sampling by coincidence).From the analysis, the indicators in this study is valid and the variables are valid. The results showed that the variables attribute products, product quality and sales promotion has positive effect on the company's image. Then, the image variable positive effect on the company's interest in the customer Savings Bank Jateng Cabang Kordinator  Semarang.

Abstract

The success of a company rely to human who carry out the work so that the success of an organization is strongly influenced by the performance of individual employees. BRI Branch Pandanaran Semarang is a company engaged in banking, especially those serving the provision of capital. In the operation of the activity BRI Branch Office Semarang Pandanaran always emphasize to all human resources to achieve good performance. Problems that occur in the PT. Bank Rakyat Indonesia, Tbk. The new branch will Pandanaran today is a decrease in employee performance evaluation of the results of employee performance objectives that are not in accordance with predetermined targets. Allegedly justice will affect the performance of the employee compensation with intrinsic work motivation as an intervening variable.The independent variables used is compensation, an intervening variable is the motivation and the dependent variable is the performance. The sample used in this study as many as 57 employees of PT. Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. Branch Semarang Pandanaran using proportional random sampling technique. The data used is primary data by questionnaire. The analysis technique used is the linear regression and test the mediating effect.Based on the results of the analysis can know that compensation and significant positive effect on employee performance. Compensation indirect effect on employee performance through motivation to work, so it can be concluded that the work motivation becomes a variable that mediates between equity compensation on employee performance.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the influence of security, ease of transaction, consumer confidence and the shopping experience to the online buying interest in tokopedia.com. This study uses a questionnaire distributed to a sample of 100 respondents were divided into two (2) groups based on residence between Semarang with outside Semarang, non probability sampling. The sampling technique is using purposive sampling, because the researchers used intentionally separate consideration in choosing members of the population are considered to be appropriate in providing the information needed for research.Based on the analysis that has been done, can present some research findings are: 1) the variable perception of safety (X1) the greatest positive effect on the variable interest purchase online at tokopedia.com; 2) perception of ease (X2) the third largest positive effect on the variable interest purchase online at tokopedia.com (Y); 3) the perception of trust (X3) the second largest positive effect on the variable interest purchase online at tokopedia.com (Y), and 4) the perception of the experience (X4) has no effect on the variable interest purchase online at tokopedia.com (Y) .

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to examine the effects of Capital Adequacy Ratio, Net Interest Margin, Loan to Deposit Ratio, Operating Cost, Size and Third Party Funds on commercial banks profitability (ROA). This research uses data from the annual report published by banks, taken from Bloomberg and the official website of Indonesian Stock Exchange. Uses the purposive sampling method, samples for this research are 17 commercial banks with the amount of assets above 35 trillion. Data analysis method used in this research is multiple linear regression with panel data with significance level 5%. The result showed that CAR has negative relation and doesn’t significantly influences towards ROA. NIM has positive relation and significantly influence towards ROA. LDR and Operating Cost have negative relation and significantly influences towards ROA. Size and Third Party Funds have positive relation but don’t significantly influences to ROA. In this research, ROA could be explained by independent variables 72.8% whereas the rest explained by other variables which were not explained in this research.

Abstract

This research was motivated by a lot of medical patient complaints after visiting to Puskesmas Ngesrep in form of critics and suggestions. It indicates there are unsatisfactory feelings after their visit to Puskesmas Ngesrep that could be because of disquality services from the management. This research is aiming to analyze the effect of disquality service medic and non-medic toward patient disatisfaction and negative WOM.This research using descriptive and quantitative for data analyze. The samples for this research are 400 patients that visited Puskesmas Nngesrep. Data was collected using questionnaires which tested the validity and reliability. The data was analyzed using multiple regression.The result of descriptive analysis shown that disquality service medic, disquality services non-medic, patient’s disatisfaction, and negative WOM Puskesmas Ngesrep classified as low. Statistical tests shown patient’s disatisfaction variable is affecting positively toward negatif WOM variable (hypothesis 1 is accepted), disquality service medic variable is affecting positively toward patient’s disatisfaction (hypothesis 2 is accepted), disquality services medic variable is affecting positively toward negatif WOM (hypothesis 3 is accepted), disquality service non-medic is affecting positively toward disatisfaction patient’s (hypothesis 4 is accepted), and disquality services non-medic variable is affecting positively toward intention to negative WOM (hypothesis 5 is accepted).

Abstract

This research was motivated by declining sales in Hest'in Modiste. This is due to the increased level of customers dissatisfaction Hest'in Modiste. Seeing this, the research was conducted to determine how much influence service quality, product quality, and customer relationship marketing with customer satisfaction as an intervening variable on repurchase intention in Hest'in Modiste. In this study, using three independent variables with one intervening variables and dependent variable.The population are customers Hest'in Modiste. This research uase as a sample of 100 respondents by the criteria have been using the services of Hest'in Modiste more than twice. Then the data were analyzed using multiple regression analysis channeled through the SPSS program.Based on the research results, the result that service quality, product quality, and customer relationship marketing positive effect on customer satisfaction with the regression coefficient is Y1 = 0,326X1 + 0,361X2 + 0,322X3 and  customer satisfaction has positive effect on the repurchase intention with the regression coefficient is Y2 = 0.494 Y1.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the presence of problems of the many employees who left the company at PT Madu Baru Bantul, Yogyakarta. Moreover, according to the pre-survey interviews that have been done, there is a lack of communication between the leaders with employees. Objective of this study was to analyze the influence of organizational commitment, leadership, employee performance, and job satisfaction as intervening variables in PT Madubaru Bantul Yogyakartace. Method of analysis of the data used in this research is descriptive and quantitative. The samples in this study were employees of PT Madubaru amounted to 77 people. Data collection was carried out by using a questionnaire that has been tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis method was using classic assumption test, path analylisis, as well as the coefficient of determination. Descriptive analysis shows that organizational commitment, leadership, job satisfaction and employee performance was moderate. Based on the results of multiple linear analysis and test of Sobel test indicates that organizational commitment, leadership, positive influence on employee performance and job satisfaction mediate organizational commitment and leadership on employee performance. The coefficient of determination shows that the work satifaction of PT Madubaru Bantul Yogyakarta are influenced by organizational commitment, leadership and job satisfaction by 32.o%, while the remaining 68,0% are influenced by other variables in which the research did not examined in this study. The coefficient of determination shows that the employees performance of PT Madubaru Bantul Yogyakarta are influenced by organizational commitment, leadership and job satisfaction by 47,7%, while the remaining 52,3% are influenced by other variables in which the research did not examined in this study

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the influence of product quality and service quality to product appeal and that impact to purchase intention (study case on Garuda Indonesia aviation on society in Semarang). This study used two independent variables, there are product quality and service quality, purchase intention as a dependent variable and then product appeal as an intervening variable.A method of this research is using purposive sampling. The sample of this research are 100 respondents from civilian in Semarang that know about Garuda Indonesia aviation. Multiple regression analysis is used for this study.The results showed that product quality has positive effect to product appeal, service quality has positive effect to product appeal, and then product appeal has positive and significant effect to purchase intention

Abstract

Of the total sales of Yamaha motorcycles between 2012 and 2014 decreased, on the other hand Honda motorcycles increased, and other motorcycle brands tend to stagnate. Thus this study aims to examine and analyze the effect of word of mouth, perception of price and quality of products, on brand switching decision motorcycle Yamaha to Honda. This study uses three independent variables, word of mouth (X1), the perception of price (X2), product quality (X3) and brand switching decision as the dependent variable.            The population used in this study is that consumers who have used the product Yamaha motorcycle and decided to move to the Honda motorcycle products. This research method using purposive sampling technique, which the researchers focused on respondents who had previously used Yamaha motorcycle and decided to switch to a Honda motorcycle. Used as a sample of 100 respondents. Data obtained from a questionnaire which is then processed and analyzed using multiple regression analysis through SPSS.The results showed that word of mouth has a positive effect on brand switching decision, the perception of the price has a negative influence on brand switching decisions, and product quality has a positive influence on brand switching decision.
