Abstract

Change is the transformation of the present state into the future state, in the hope of becoming a better state. Office of Processing Centre Semarang is transforming for the company's survival in order to grow continuously with the times, so that it will not decrease business. This research will analyze the transformation process done by Office of Processing Centre Semarang.The purpose of this conceptual research is to present the current literature review related to Change Management. Change is inevitable in every organization. It's just that sometimes the desired changes are hampered by internal or external factors. Various literature related to change management is discussed in this study, along with the upcoming research agenda related to change management.The method used is qualitative method with case study approach. The reason for choosing the method is so that this research can be done in depth and can focus to know the process of transformation done at Office of Processing Center Semarang. The results of this study indicate that the transformation made by the Office of Processing Centre Semarang has not been fully implemented. The unavailability of this transformation is due to employees' ignorance on the part of the staff will be the transformation itself on the Office of Processing Centre Semarang, so that the transformation has not been done according to what the company wants.

Abstract

Role conflict and role ambiguity that experienced by employees on a company can causing job stress. Job stress experienced by employee can directly effect the high and low of employees organizational commitment. The aim of this research was to examine and analyze the influence of role conflict to job stress, the influence of role ambiguity to job stress, the influence of job stress to organizational commitment, the influence of role conflict to organizational commitment through job stress as intervening variable and the influence of role ambiguity to organizational commitment through job stress as intervening variable.The population in this research was employees at PT. Telekomunikasi Indonesia, Tbk. Witel Semarang with total amount of 170 employees by taking the research sample as much as 90 employees using quota sampling technique. Data would be analyzed by using multiple linear regression analysis. The data testing technique used path analysis or path analysis,  which  the  path  analysis  includes:  test  validity,  reliability  test,  classical assumption test, T test, F test, coefficient determination test and test sobel to test the mediation effect.Based on the result of this research, the researcher concluded that role conflict and role  ambiguity  had  positive  and  significant  influence  to  job  stress.  Job  stress  had  a negative  and  significant  effect  on  organizational  commitment.  Role  conflict  had  no negative and significant effect on organizational commitment mediated by job stress, whereas   role   ambiguity  had   a   negative   and   significant   effect   on   organizational commitment that was mediated by job stress.

Abstract

Tight Industrial Competition makes Toshiba brand laptops has declined percentage in Top Brand Index for three consecutive years although its position is currently still ranked second, but at the same time other brands have increased their Top Brand Index. This study aims to analyze the influence of advertise appeals variable and the reference group into brand switching on Toshiba laptops with brand image as intervening variable. The technique used in sampling on this study is non probability sampling with 130 respondents who have the criteria ever used Toshiba brand laptop and switch into other brands. The analysis method used is maximum likelihood test with AMOS program 22.0 version.The results showed that the advertisement appeals and reference groups have a positive effect on brand switching either directly or through brand image variables. Where the variable of advertisment appeal has the greatest influence on brand switching, followed by brand image and the last is the reference group.

Abstract

High growth of technology and consumer’s shifting behavior who want an easy transaction, faster, and efficient cause online business growth that called e-commerce. This causes competition of e-commerce in high temper. Company needs to make their consumers being loyal to their product so they can survive. Between the atmosphere of the competitiveness nowadays, Zalora is one of the most popular e-commerce company in Indonesia that not coupled with the reputation and page viewers to transact in this site. This study was to examine the effect od variabel perceived usefulness, easy of use, and consumer trust on purchase decision of Zalora in Semarang through consumer intention as an intervening variabel.The total sample in this study is 100 respondents taken by purposive sampling technique that comsumers in Semarang and also conduct transaction at least 1 times in Zalora. Data analysis method used are in which the analysis : validity, reliability, classic assumption test, multiple linear regeression, t0test, F-test, determination test and Sobel test.This result of multiple regression analysis showed that all independent variabels are perceived usefulness (0,252). Ease of use (0,625), and customer’s trust (0,165) has a positive and significant relationship to variabel purchase intention. Intervening variabel such as purchase intention (0,625) and independent variabel such as costomer’s trust (0,165) has a positive relationship and parallel to the dependant variabel is purchase intention.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the factors that affects leverage which is indicated by total debt to total asset ratio. The object of this research refers to manufacturing companies that are listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the period 2011-2015.The population of this study are 142 manufacturing companies that are listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during 2011-2015. The data are collected from the Bloomberg terminal and with purposive sampling and some criteria, 79 companies are sampled for the object of this study. The data are analyzed by the multiple regression and Sobel test to identify the mediation of the mediator variable.This research founds that size and tangibility positively and significantly affects the company leverage. Profitability, liquidity and dividend policy is negatively and significantly associated with leverage while insider ownership and sales growth insignificantly affects leverage. Insider ownership and sales growth are proven to be significantly negative affecting the dividend policy. Dividend policy are able to mediate sales growth effect on leverage, while unable to mediate the insider ownership effect on leverage.

Abstract

Human resources are the most important part to carry out the task and achieve the goal. From the results of employee performance data of the Industry and Trade of Central Java province occurred fluctuation. According to previous researchers factors of work facilities, non-physical work environment and job satisfaction affect employee performance. The purpose of this study to determine the effect of work facilities, non-physical work environment and job satisfaction on employee performanceData collection method used in this research is questionnaires dissemination by using purposive sampling method, the sample used in this research is employees of Industry and Trade Service of Central Java Province as much as 78 respondents who have working period more than four (4) years. This research uses data analysis methods such as validity test, reliability test, classical assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis, coefficient of determination test, F test and t test.The results of this study indicate that work facilities, non-physical work environment and job satisfaction affect employee performance. Adjusted R Square value of 55.2%, which means that performance can be explained by the variable working facilities, non-physical work environment and job satisfaction. The remaining 44.8% can be explained by other variables.

Abstract

The aim of this research to analyze the relationship between crude oil price, earning per share, price to book value, return on assets and debt to equity ratio toward stock price. Case study on Coal Mining Company listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange in period 2012-2016. Research population used are Coal Mining Company that listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) in period 2012-2016. The sampling technique used in this research is purposive sampling and 14 coal company selected as sample of this research. Analysis used is Multiple Regression Analysis with significance level of 5% that includes classic assumption test, F statistic test, t statistic test and coefficient of determination test (R2). Results from the study showed that earning per share, price to book value and return on assets variables has positive and significant impact to stock price. Then crude oil price ratio and debt to equity ratio has negative and not significant effect to stock price. The result of coefficient of determination test showed the ability of model prediction is 64,7%, while the rest of 35,3% explained by variables outside of this study.

Abstract

Problems that occur is the sale of vape with the original brand does not show increase from month to month, exactly in May to July decreased. Though currently vape trend is getting in demand so consumers who are looking for vape pretty much. Based on the results of prasurvey conducted, it appears that the decline in sales is allegedly caused by the strength of the original brand is not very good, the original vape price is considered expensive and the distribution of goods that are less evenly distributed. This study aims to analyze the influence of brand equity, price and distribution of the original vape purchase decision in Semarang.The population used in this study is all Vape consumers in Semarang. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling. Sampling criteria were 96 vape consumer in Semarang. Methods of data collection in this study using questionnaires. Methods of data analysis using multiple linear regression analysis.Based on the results of brand equity, price and distribution have a positive effect on the purchase decision of original vape in Semarang. The original vape purchase decision in Semarang can be explained by brand equity, price and distribution of 81%.

Abstract

This study is aims to analyze the influence of packaging and advertising appeal on brand image and brand preference in social media to purchase decisions (study on students Undip consumer AQUA).The data collecting method is done through a questionnaire with close and open questions to 100 respondents. Sampel criteria such as students of Undip, who watch advertising of AQUA in mass media or social media and buying AQUA in 2016/2017. Multiple regression analysis in SPSS program is used for this study. The results showed that the packaging and advertising appeal has positive and significant effect on brand image, and then brand image and brand preference in social media has positive and significant effect on purchase decisions.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the influence of salesmanship, relationship quality, and consumer value on consumer loyalty and also to determine which variables are the dominant influence among three variables salesmanship, relationship quality, and consumer value on consumer loyalty.The population used in this research is the consumer who has ever bought furniture at PT.MUSTIKA JATI JEPARA, Jl. KH. Wahid Hasyim KM 2, Jepara. The samples are obtained by using purposive sampling method, that the sampling technique is based on certain characteristics, which is considered to have links with the characteristics of the population that has been determination before. Methods of data analysis using multiple linear regression analysis.The results showed that the variables of salesmanship, relationship quality and consumer value simultaneously significant effect on consumer loyalty. Then partially variable relationship quality has the highest significant effect on consumer loyalty, while the consumers value have influence with significance level to the second highest on consumer loyalty, and salesmanship has the lowest significant influence on consumer loyalty .
