Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze whether there is influence of promotion, ease of use, consumer trust and quality of information on buying interest in Bukalapak online sale site. The sampling technique used in this research is purposive sampling approach, that is College Students of Diponegoro University who have accessed Bukalapak website but have never made a purchase. The sample used is as much as 100 respondents.The sampling technique used in this research is purposive sampling approach, that is College Students of Diponegoro University who have accessed Bukalapak website but have never made a purchase. The sample used is as much as 100 respondents. The data were collected by using questionnaires. The analysis method used is multiple regression analysis and the operation uses SPSS version 22.The results showed that promotion, ease of use, consumer confidence and quality of information have a positive influence on buying interest in Bukalapak online sale site. Information quality  became  the  highest  influence  in  this  research.  and  consumer  trust,  ease  of  use  and promotion sequentially have the highest influence in this study after the quality of information

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of intellectual capital toward the firm value using the financial performance as intervening variable in manufacturing firms registered in Indonesia Stock Exchange in period 2009-2013. This research examine the relation of three major components of firm’s resources which is capital emloyeed (VACA), human capital (VAHU), and structural capital (STVA) toward the firm value of the company’s financial performance. The firm value is measured using price to book value (PBV) otherwise the company’s financial performance is measured using return on asset (ROA).The samples used ini this study are 25 manufacturing firms in Indonesia Stock Exhange in period 2009-2013. Path analysis used to be analysis technique using program SPSS 20 for windows to determine the effect of mediation.The result of this study show that VACA and VAHU have positively and significant influence on ROA. VACA and ROA have positively and significant influenced and PBV. Financial performance may mediate the relation between VACA and STVA toward firm value.

Abstract

The background of this research is the increasing number of complaints of inpatients, especially on the quality of services and facilities. The growing number of complaints leads to dissatisfaction and will affect patient loyalty. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of service quality, facilities hospital image, patient satisfaction on the loyalty of RSUD Tugurejo’s Semarang inpatients. Technique that used in this research is Non-Probability Sampling with Purposive Sampling approach, which has ever used inpatient services of RSUD Tugurejo in 2016, who is appropriate to be a sample.  The collection of data obtained through 182 inpatients, with the aim of knowing the responses of respondents on the variables studied by questionnaire tool, using Likert 1-10 scale. Data analysis and interpretation techniques using SEM (Structural Equation Modeling), according to the model developed in this study, the operation through Amos version 22.0 program. The results showed that service quality has a positive and significant effect on hospital image, service quality has a positive and significant effect on patient satisfaction, service quality has a positive and significant effect on patient loyalty.  Facilities has a positive and significant effect on service quality, facilities has a positive and significant effect on hospital image, facilities has a positive and significant effect on patient satisfaction.  Hospital image has a positive and significant effect on patient loyalty.  Patient satisfaction has a positive and significant influence on patient loyalty

Abstract

When the price of stock is too high, some investor is hard to reach the price so the go-public companies can do stock split. Stock split is one kind of corporate action implemented by companies in order torearrange stock price to be a more liquid range and provide more positive signal to investor. The aim of this study is to analyze the differences of abnormal return and trading volume activity on growth and non-growth firms before and after stock split.The study was conducted on 36 companies that are listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange and they do stock split in the year 2008-2012. There are 31 companies listed as growth firms and 5 companies listed as non-growth firms. The category of growth and non-growth firms based on IOS (Investment Opportunity Set) proxy MVEBVE (Market to Book Value of Equity). This study used statistical analysis test two different test average with a 11-day observation period is t = -5 (5 days before stock split) , t=0 (event date) and t = 5 (5 days after stock split). The method of determination of sample using purposive sampling. Analyze data using Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test.The result showed that there are significant differences between AAR of non-growth company & average TVA of growth company before & after stock split and also average TVA between growth and non-growth company after stock split. Meanwhile there are no  significant differences between AAR of growth company & average TVA of non-growth company before & after stock split and also AAR  between growth and non-growth company after stock split

Abstract

Human resources play a very important role in a company because humans are thedeterminant of the running of the company. One of the company's successes is measuredthrough employee performance. The higher the employee's performance, the higher thesuccess achieved by the company. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect ofcompensation and work motivation on employee loyalty and its impact on employeeperformance.The population in this study were employees of CV Al-Achwan. This research wasconducted by distributing questionnaires with a sample of 130 employees using simplerandom sampling method. The data analysis method used is multiple regression analysis.The data testing techniques used in this study include path analysis test, and sobel test totest the mediation effect.The results showed that giving compensation has a positive effect on employeeloyalty, work motivation has a positive effect on employee loyalty, compensation has apositive effect on employee performance, work motivation has a positive effect onemployee performance, employee loyalty has a positive and significant effect on employeeperformance.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the effects from advertising towards brand awareness and corporate image, also services quality towards customer’s satisfaction and its influence on customer’s loyalty from Telkom phone’s customers. The variables used in this study are advertising and services quality as independent variables, then the brand awareness, corporate image, customer’s satisfaction as intervening variables and customer’s loyalty as the dependent variable.            This sample in this study was 200 respondents of Telkom phone’s customers in Semarang. The method used is Accidental Sampling by distributing questionnaires to the respondents. In this study developed a theoretical model to propose seven hypotheses to be tested using analysis tools Structural Equation Modeling (SEM0 which is operated through a program AMOS 20.0            Based on research of data processing SEM for full model has met the criteria of goodness of fit as follows: the value of chi-square = 152,754; probability = 0,059; RMSEA = 0,035; CMIN/DF = 1,203; GFI = 0,902; AGFI = 0,868; TLI = 0,977; CFI = 0,981. Within the result, it can be said that this model is feasible to be used. The result showed that the customer’s loyalty can be improved by increasing services quality affect the customer’s satisfaction as a determinant of success increase customer’s loyalty.

Abstract

The need for communication tools such as smartphones, continues to create a lot of demand and supply and also create competition between producers with other manufacturers. Similarly, an interesting phenomenon that occurs in the Apple iPhone in Indonesia, where with the increasing number of smartphone users in Indonesia Apple iPhone has decreased sales and market share. This study aims to determine the effect of product attributes, perceptions of value, and consumer experience on the interest of buying Apple iPhone products through consumer satisfaction as intervening variables.Technique that used in this research is by method of purposive sampling approach, that is consumer of Apple iPhone with category of youth in Semarang who have done upgrading its iPhone device. The sample in this research is 100 respondents. The data were collected using questionnaires. The technique of analysis and interpretation of data that used is Multiple Regression Analysis, according to the model that developed in this research, and operated through SPSS program version 22.The results showed that product attributes, perceived value, and costumer experience have a positive effect on customer satisfaction. Perceived value has the highest influence on customer satisfaction. Then, product attributes, perceived value, costumer experience, and customer satisfaction have a positive and significant effect on repurchase intention. Perceived value is the variable that has the highest effect on repurchase intention.

Abstract

Based on the increasing number of customer complains received by the company, this research was conducted to determine how service quality (X1), product quality (X2) and customer value (X3) affects customer satisfaction (Y) in PT. Prudential Life Assurance Semarang, and to analyze which of them are the one with greatest influence on PT. Prudential Life Assurance Semarang’s customer satisfaction. Population of the study are holders of PT. Prudential Life Assurance’s insurance policy in the Semarang area. Sample of the study consisting of 100 people as respondents, taken using non probability sampling technique. Data types used in the research are both primary and secondary data acquired from questionnaires and literature studies. Techniques of analysis used in the research consisting of validity, reliability, classical assumption tests, and multiple regression. Also included in the research are statistical hypothesis tests and coefficient of determination test. Multiple regression analysis made shows, Y = 0,306 X1 + 0,307 X2 + 0,306 X3.  The test proven product quality variable as the one with greatest influence (0,307), followed service quality (0,306), and customer value (0,306). Statistical hypothesis analysis proven all independent variables has positive and significant influence on PT. Prudential Life Assurance’s insurance policy holders customer satisfaction. Coefficient determination test (adjusted R2) shows 0,598. Which indicates 59,8% of the customer satisfaction in the research are influenced by service quality, product quality, and customer value. And the rest 40,2% are influenced by other variables.

Abstract

This research was conducted as a decline in sales at Taman Joglo Cafe for several months, so we have to know what factors that influence the purchase decision . This study aims to determine the effect of price perception, service quality, location, and word of mouth on purchase decision on Taman Joglo Café Semarang and which ones have the most impact.The research data was collected from 100 consumers Taman Joglo Café Semarang. Sampling in this study using non-probability sampling technique . The analysis used in this study is multiple regression analysis . Before multiple regression analysis also do validity and reliability testing and classical assumption testing.And after that also do the hypothesis testing and coefficient of determination. The results of the study found that the following regression equation: Y = 0,745  + 0,363  + 0,217 + 0,116 .Regression analysis showed variable of price perception, service quality, location, and word of mouth have a positive influence to the purchase decision. The most influential variable was price perception, followed by service quality, location and word of mouth. The analysis result using t test showed that price perception, service quality, location, and word of mouth individually have a significant influence on purchasing decisions. This equation model had F value of 67.784 with a significance level of 0.000. The analysis result using coefficient of determination was discovering about 73,0% variable of purchasing decision can be summarized by the variant of variable price perception, service quality, location, and word of mouth, whilst 27.0% summarized by other variable which unexplained in this research.

Abstract

The emergence of non-medical employees performance indication that has not been optimal and the presence of complaints of visitors to the dissatisfaction of services provided employees RSUD K.R.M.T Wongsonegoro be the background of this research. This study aims to examine the influence of transformational leadership style, work motivation and employee engagement on the performance of non medical employees from the background of the phenomenon that occurs in the performance of non medical employees in hospitals K.R.M.T Wongsonegoro Semarang City.The population of this research is all non medical employees RSUD K.R.M.T Wongsonegoro as many as 282 employees. Technique of sampling using technique proportional sampling and insidental sampling, with amount of sample counted 75 non-medical employees. The method of data analysis used is multiple regression with the help of SPSS program version 23.Based on multiple linear regression test, the result showed that transformational leadership, work motivation, and employee engagement have positive relation and significant influence to employee performance.
