Abstract

The use of technology in online learning during the covid-19 pandemic is needed due to provide facilities for students in learning activities. Scientific literacy skills is included in higher-order thinking skills by the demands of the implementation curriculum 2013. Data in the field showed that the majority of students in Indonesia have a low level of scientific literacy. The purpose of this research was to make an e-worksheet integrated with Virtual Laboratory to train Scientific Literacy Skills on Circulatory System Materials that feasible, practical, and effective. The research model was 4D (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). The research trial was conducted on 18 students of SMAN 1 Pasuruan. The validity of the e-worksheet has been known from the results of the validation by the validators, the practicality of the e-worksheet has been known from the results of student response questionnaires, and the effectiveness has been known from the learning outcomes refers to scientific literacy indicators.. Data analysis was carried out with a quantitative description. The results of e-worksheet validation were 94.62% which is a very valid category. The results of the practicality were 95.1% in the very practical category, and the effectiveness results were 88% which is in the very effective category. Based on the results obtained, e-worksheet integrated with virtual laboratory to train scientific literacy on circulatory system was valid, practical, and effective. Abstract

Abstrak Bahan ajar berupa lembar kegiatan peserta didik (LKPD) yang telah dikembangkan untuk materi keanekaragaman hayati, namun belum dapat memenuhi kebutuhan di saat pandemi Covid-19 sehingga perlunya pemanfaatan teknologi digital dalam mengembangkan bahan ajar untuk pembelajaran daring. Selain itu, seiring bertambahnya waktu keanekaragaman hayati mengalami penurunan. Kesadaran terhadap pelestarian keanekaragaman hayati dapat ditumbuhkan melalui materi keanekaragaman hayati dengan memanfaatkan teknologi digital serta melatihkan indikator keterampilan berpikir kritis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan lembar kegiatan peserta didik elektronik (e-LKPD) materi keanekaragaman hayati untuk melatihkan keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik kelas X yang valid dan praktis. Penelitian pengembangan ini menggunakan model pengembangan 4D (define, design, develop, and disseminate), tanpa tahap disseminate. Validitas e-LKPD ditinjau berdasarkan hasil validasi ahli materi dan ahli media. Kepraktisan e-LKPD ditinjau berdasarkan respons guru (n = 5) dan respons peserta didik (n = 20). Data dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa e-LKPD yang dikembangkan sangat valid dengan memperoleh skor validasi 93,75%. Pengembangan terhadap e-LKPD pada materi keanekaragaman hayati dinilai sangat praktis berdasarkan respons guru sebesar 99% dan respons peserta didik sebesar 98%. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, e-LKPD yang dikembangkan sangat valid dan praktis untuk digunakan sebagai bahan ajar materi keanekaragaman hayati dan untuk melatihkan keterampilan berpikir kritis. In addition, as time as go on biodiversity has decreased. Awareness of biodiversity conservation can be grown through biodiversity materials by utilizing digital technology and training indicators of critical thinking skills. This research aimed to develop electronical worksheet (e-LKPD) for biodiversity materials, which is valid and practical to train critical thinking skills for grade10th. This developmental research refered to the 4D development model (define, design, develop, and disseminate), without dissemination stage. The validity of e-LKPD was reviewed based on the validation of material experts and media experts. The practicality of e-LKPD was reviewed based on teacher responses (n=5) and student responses (n=20). Data analyzed with descriptive-quantitatively. The results showed that the e-LKPD was very valid with a score 93.75%. Development of e-LKPD in biodiversity material very practical based on teacher responses score 99% and student responses 98%. Based on the result, the e-LKPD could be stated as very valid and practical to be used as teaching material on biodiversity and to train students’ critical thinking skills. Abstract

Information and technology are developing rapidly in the 21st-century, so they need to be balanced with digital literacy skills for students. Limited digital learning media during the Covid-19 emergency learning period impacted a lack of learning experience due to the lack of media that could support learning during the Covid-19 emergency, causing students to have difficulty understanding the topic. Bioprocess topic are considered complex topic. Therefore, it is essential to develop media that can train digital literacy on bioprocess topic. This study aimed to develop a valid, practical, and effective interactive e-book on bioprocess topic to train digital literacy of senior high school grade XI. This study uses a 4D development model, including the Define, Design, Develop and Disseminate stage. Collecting data through validation methods, Fry's legibility, test questions, and questionnaire responses to 20 students of grade XI MIPA SMA Negeri 8 Surabaya and biology teacher. The data collected were analyzed through descriptive-quantitative techniques. The results of the study indicate that the e-book is very valid, with a validity score of 3.73, so that it is suitable for use in learning; the e-book is declared practical based on the results of the readability test, which shows level 11, which is ideal to use by grade XI; The e-book was declared to be very effective based on the completeness of the digital literacy indicator with a percentage of 90.8% indicating a complete category and the responses of students and teachers who showed very positive responses with a percentage of 90.1% and 100%. Therefore, the interactive e-book on bioprocess topic able to train digital literacy of senior high school grade XI. Keywords: e-book, interactive, bioprocess, digital literacy.

Abstract

Pentingnya belajar wirausaha sejak sekolah sangat diperlukan agar dapat menciptakan pelajar yang kreatif dan kaya akan inovasi untuk dapat membuat peluang usaha. Seorang guru harus selektif dalam mengunakan media pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan siswa. Oleh sebab itu, adanya media pembelajaran booklet berbasis Edible mushroom sangat dibutuhkan guna meningkatkan minat berwirausaha siswa SMA sehingga dapat menumbuhkan produktivitas dan kemandirian siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menghasilkan media pembelajaran booklet Edible mushroom pada materi fungi untuk meningkatkan minat berwirausaha siswa biologi kelas X SMA yang valid, praktis, dan efektif. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan yang mengacu pada model 4D yaitu (define, design, develope, dan disseminate). Namun hanya dibatasi pada tahap develope. Parameter validitas booklet diukur dari instrumen validasi yang dinilai oleh tiga validator berdasarkan komponen kelayakan penyajian dan mendapatkan persentase sebesar 89,79%, komponen kelayakan isi sebesar 90%, komponen kelayakan bahasa sebesar 90,37%, dan komponen minat berwirausaha sebesar 97,5%. Parameter kepraktisan booket dinilai dari angket respon siswa yang diukur dari aspek penyajian isi, aspek penyajian fisik, aspek minat berwirausaha dan lembar hasil pengamatan aktivitas siswa saat menggunakan booklet dari aktivitas pembelajaran menggunakan booklet mendapatkan presentase dan aktivitas keterlaksanaan meningkatnya minat berwirausaha. Parameter keefektifan booket diukur berdasarkan hasil penilaian siswa saat mengerjakan aktivitas pada booklet. Berdasarkan hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa booklet memperoleh persentase rata-rata skor validitas sebesar 91,91%. Hasil kepraktisan booklet memperoleh rata-rata skor sebesar 88,5%. Hasil keefektifan booklet Edible mushroom mendapatkan skor rata-rata 93,5%. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan booklet berbasis Edible mushroom pada materi fungi untuk meningkatkan minat berwirausaha siswa biologi kelas X SMA dinyatakan sangat valid, sangat praktis, dan sangat efektif untuk digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran. Penggunaan booklet mampu meningkatkan minat berwirausaha karena booklet dikembangkan guna memfasilitasi peserta didik untuk berlatih dalam berwirausaha. Abstract

Higher-order thinking skills (HOTS) are one of the skills that demanded in the 21st century. However, there are still few students who master this skill. The use of technology should be optimized even more in distance learning to support the learning process to achieve maximum results. Therefore, an effort is needed to train students' HOTS. One way to train HOTS is by giving quizzes in the evaluation process by utilizing the Quizizz application. This research aimed to create an interactive quiz based on Quizizz to train HOTS on respiratory system materials that are valid and reliable. This development research referred to the ASSURE model (Analyze Learner, State Objective, Select Media and Materials, Utilize Media and Materials, Require Learner Participation, Evaluate and Revise). The limited trial was conducted on 18 students of class XI MIA 2 SMA Muhammadiyah 10 GKB Gresik. The validity of the interactive quiz was determined based on the results of the validation by material expert and media expert using the validation sheet. The results showed that the validity of the interactive quiz reached 99.73% with a very valid category. Reliability and difficulty level are determined based on the student test results. The reliability of the items scored 0.713 with a reliable category. The proportion of the item difficulty level is 80% with moderate category and 20% with difficult category. Accordingly, the interactive quiz on respiratory system materials for practicing HOTS is valid and reliable. Keywords: Interactive quiz, HOTS, Quizizz, Respiratory system

Abstract

The mutation is one of the most challenging topics in Biology for the students since it has abstract concepts. Implementation of interactive learning media, such as interactive e-books, is an option to make mutation topics easier to understand. Unfortunately, the availability of interactive e-books on this topic is still limited. This research aimed to develop an interactive e-book on mutation topics to improve students’ understanding, which is valid for content eligibility, book presentation, and language aspects. The interactive e-book was developed using the Hannafin & Peck model with need analysis, design, and development or implementation phases. The implementation phase was not conducted in the current research. In the development phase, three validators, which included media experts, education experts, and biology teachers, assessed the validity of the developed interactive e-book. Then, data analysis was done using quantitative and qualitative descriptive methods. The result showed that the developed interactive e-book validity was categorized as very high (scored a 93%). Thus, the developed interactive e-book on mutation topics to improve students’ understanding is valid. This research implicates the availability of interactive e-book media to understand mutation topics easier. However, further study to confirm the appropriateness of this interactive e-book implementation is still needed.

Abstract

The learning process that involves active students is one of them by making innovations in the field of information technology which is currently growing rapidly. This innovation is teaching material. Currently, one of the supports for the learning process and liason between teachers and students is the existence of teaching materials. This study aimed to produce an electronic student work sheet based on PjBL material for growth and development in plants that is theoretically feasible in terms of presentation, content and language aspect through validation by experts. This research uses a 4-D development model (Define, Design, develop and Disseminate) without disseminate. Student worksheet design is carried out at the design stage and the validation is carried out at the develop stage. The data analysis technique uses descriptive qualitative and quantitative. Student worksheet on growth and development materials has been successfully develop with integrated Project Based Learning syntax. The results of the validation are 94% (very valid), in the content aspect 97.5% (very valid), and the language aspect 100% (very valid). This electronic student worksheets have several features that support learning, such as let's review together, finally I Know and the implementation of practicum projects. The results of this study indicate that the PjBL-based e-LKPD is stated to be theoretically feasible in the very valid category and can be tested on a limited basis to determine empirical validity. Abstract

Abstrak Perkembangan zaman menuntut siswa untuk dapat memiliki kemampuan berpikir kritis. Salah satu upaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan ini adalah dengan berlatih mengerjakan soal-soal kategori HOTS. Materi sistem respirasi manusia bersifat abstrak karena fungsi dan strukturnya berada dalam tubuh, sehingga soal yang diberikan kepada siswa selain harus dapat meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis juga harus mendukung siswa untuk memahimi konsep dari materi yang telah dipelajari. Hal ini dapat didukung oleh software Wondershare Quiz Creator yang dapat menyajikan soal dalam berbagai macam bentuk sehingga soal dapat lebih beragam. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan soal pada materi Sistem Respirasi manusia kelas XI SMA yang diaplikasikan menggunakan software Wondershare Quiz Creator. Setelah itu mendeskripsikan validitas, reliabilitas, tingkat kesukaran, daya pembeda, dan kepraktisannya. Penelitian pengembangan ini menggunakan model ADDIE (analysis, design, developent, implementation, evaluation). Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah validasi, tes, dan angket. Penelitian ini menghasilkan 20 butir soal materi Sistem Respirasi manusia yang diaplikasikan menggunakan software Wondershare Quiz Creator, dengan hasil validasi sebesar 93,98% (sangat valid). Hasil analisis butir soal diperoleh reliabilitas sebesar 0,725 (tinggi), proporsi tingkat kesukaran 15% mudah, 65% sedang, dan 20% sukar, indeks daya pembeda soal 15% lemah, 20% cukup, 40% baik, dan 25% sangat baik. Kepraktisan berdasarkan respons siswa didapatkan hasil sebesar 96,98% (Sangat praktis). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa butir soal menggunakan Wondershare Quiz Creator pada Materi Sistem Respirasi manusia dinyatakan valid, reliabel, dan praktis sehingga layak untuk digunakan. Abstract The progress of the times requires students to have critical thinking skills. One effort that can be made to improve this ability is to practice working on HOTS category questions. The material for human respiratory system is abstract because its fucntions and structures are in the body, so the questions given to students must not only to improve critical thinking skills, but also support students to understand the concepts of the material that has been studied. This can be supported by Wondershare Quiz Creator software which can present questions in various forms so that the questions are more diverse. This study aims to develop questions on the human respiratory system material for class XI senior high school applied using Wondershare Quiz Creator software. After that, it describes its validity, reliability, level of difficulties, index of discrimination, and practicality. This development research used the ADDIE model (analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation). Data collection techniques used are validation, tests, and questionnaires. This study resulted in 20 items on the human respiratory system material applied using Wondershare Quiz Creator software, with a validation result of 93.98% (very valid). The results of the item analysis obtained reliability of 0.725 (high), the proportion of difficulty levels was 15% easy, 65% moderate, and 20% difficult, the discrimination index of 15% was weak, 20% was sufficient, 40% was good, and 25% was very good. Practicality based on student responsses obtained results of 96.98% (Very practical). It concluded that the questions item using Wondershare Quiz Creator on the Human Respiratory System Material was valid, reliable, and practical so that they are feasible to use. Abstract

Berpikir kritis termasuk tuntutan keterampilan yang perlu dikuasai siswa pada abad ke-21. Pendekatan saintifik dapat diterapkan dalam pembelajaran untuk melatih kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Upaya untuk melatihkan kemampuan berpikir kritis dapat dilakukan menggunakan bahan ajar sesuai dengan abad ke-21 yaitu berbasis elektronik. Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan E-LKPD Lumut untuk melatih kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa berdasarkan aspek validitas, kepraktisan dan keefektifan. Penelitian ini menggunakan model pengembangan 4D (Define, Design, Develop, dan Disseminate). Produk E-LKPD yang dihasilkan telah melalui proses telaah, revisi dan uji coba. Validitas E-LKPD diperoleh menggunakan instrumen validasi dengan memperhatikan aspek penyajian, isi, dan kebahasaan. Kepraktisan E-LKPD diperoleh menggunakan instrumen observasi keterlaksanaan. Keefektifan E-LKPD diperoleh menggunakan nilai tes berpikir kritis untuk menunjukkan persentase jumlah siswa yang memperoleh kriteria baik hingga sangat baik, dan respons positif siswa. E-LKPD dikategorikan valid apabila skor validasi ≥2,51, praktis apabila persentase keterlaksanaan ≥51%, dan efektif apabila persentase jumlah siswa kriteria baik hingga sangat baik pada tes berpikir kritis ≥70% dan respons positif siswa ≥75%. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil uji validasi E-LKPD sebesar 3,88 (sangat valid). Hasil uji kepraktisan E-LKPD topik 1 dan topik 2 secara berturut-turut sebesar 99,05% dan 100% (sangat praktis). E-LKPD Lumut dinyatakan efektif dengan persentase jumlah siswa memperoleh kriteria baik hingga sangat baik pada tes berpikir kritis indikator interpretasi, analisis, dan eskplanasi secara berturut-turur sebesar 80%, 73,33%, dan 86,67% dan persentase respons positif siswa sebesar 95,10% (sangat baik). E-LKPD Lumut dinyatakan layak digunakan berdasarkan aspek validitas, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan untuk pembelajaran Biologi kelas X SMA. Abstract

Abstrak Dalam proses belajar, siswa memiliki tingkatan daya serap belajar, cara berpikir, dan cara belajar yang berbeda-beda sehingga berdampak pada tingkat pemahaman yang berbeda. Media pembelajaran yang digunakan juga sangat mempengaruhi pemahaman siswa. Salah satu media pembelajaran yang dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman siswa khususnya pada materi pewarisan sifat yang memiliki tingkat kesulitan tinggi yaitu media pembelajaran berbasis articulate storyline dalam bentuk cerita yang menarik, menyenangkan, efektif, dan praktis. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu menghasilkan media pembelajaran “CETAR” Cerita Pintar berbasis articulate storyline untuk meningkatkan pemahaman siswa pada materi pewarisan sifat yang layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran. Model pengembangan yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Parameter yang diukur adalah validitas, keefektifan, dan kepraktisan dari media pembelajaran yang dikembangkan. Validitas media dinilai berdasarkan aspek penyajian, isi, dan bahasa oleh ahli media, ahli materi, dan satu guru Biologi. Sedangkan keefektifan media dalam meningkatkan pemahaman siswa diperoleh dari analisis hasil pretest dan post-test, serta kepraktisan diperoleh dari respon 13 siswa kelas XII IPA 1 SMA Labschool Unesa 1. Selanjutnya, data dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif. Penelitian ini memperoleh hasil persentase skor rata-rata validitas sebesar 89% dengan kategori sangat valid. Media yang dikembangkan juga dikategorikan efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman siswa dengan perolehan gain score sebesar 0,65 serta sangat praktis yang ditunjukkan adanya respon positif siswa sebesar 86%. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan media pembelajaran “CETAR” yang dikembangkan layak untuk digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran. Media ini dapat mempermudah untuk memahami suatu materi dan memberikan pengalaman belajar baru yang menyenangkan bagi siswa.
