Abstract

Selecting the best teacher is a strategic effort to improve the quality of education; however, the process at SDN Kalisuren 01 was still carried out conventionally, which allowed subjectivity and inefficiency to occur. This study aims to design and develop a web-based decision support system using the PROMETHEE method to assist the principal in determining the best teacher in an objective, measurable, and accountable manner. The system applies six assessment criteria, namely attendance, years of service, teaching competence, teamwork, discipline, and responsibility. PROMETHEE is used to calculate the Leaving Flow, Entering Flow, and Net Flow as the basis for ranking teachers. The results indicate that the system successfully generates teacher rankings consistent with manual calculations and presents information quickly and accurately. Blackbox testing confirms that all features function properly, from score input and calculation to the presentation of the final ranking. Thus, the developed decision support system is effective in improving the objectivity, transparency, and efficiency of the best teacher selection process at SDN Kalisuren 01.

Abstract

Abstract. Financial records at UMKM Arafah Food were previously managed in a simple manner, causing cash-in and cash-out transactions to be poorly organized and difficult to use as a basis for preparing reports. This study aims to design and develop a web-based financial recording application that can be used to record transactions in a structured way and present financial information in the form of summaries and reports. The system development applies the Extreme Programming (XP) method with the stages of planning, design, coding, and testing, while system requirements were collected through observation, interviews, and literature study. The resulting application provides features for recording cash transactions, managing transaction data, displaying a financial summary dashboard, and generating reports by period. Functional testing using black box testing shows that the main features operate according to the defined test scenarios, and an initial questionnaire distributed to 10 UMKM respondents indicates generally positive responses toward the interface, ease of use, and system performance. The outcome of this study is a web-based financial recording application that can still be further developed according to UMKM needs.

Abstract

Abstract. Inventory management is a crucial aspect in the operation of a café as it directly relates to the availability of raw materials and the smoothness of customer service. At HaHa.co.id Café, inventory management is still carried out manually using simple records, which often causes various problems such as delayed recording, data duplication, and difficulties in preparing accurate stock reports. These issues affect the effectiveness of inventory monitoring and managerial decision-making. To overcome these problems, this research designed and implemented a web-based inventory management information system using the Agile development method. Agile was chosen because it allows the development process to be conducted incrementally, adaptively, and with active user involvement in each iteration, ensuring that the resulting system fits the actual needs. The developed system provides features such as item data management, stock-in and stock-out transactions, supplier management, and structured stock reporting. The results show that the system can assist the café owner in managing inventory more effectively, accelerating transaction recording, and producing more accurate and easy-to-understand stock reports. With this system, inventory monitoring becomes more controlled, and decision-making can be carried out more quickly and precisely.

Abstract

This study discusses the implementation of the K-Means Clustering method to analyze customer purchasing patterns in the PitaPita Accessories e-commerce. The main problem addressed is the absence of a structured customer segmentation, causing marketing strategies to remain generic and less targeted. This research aims to apply the K-Means algorithm to group customers based on their purchasing behavior, process transaction data into numerical attributes, and present the segmentation results as a basis for developing more personalized and effective marketing strategies. The dataset used in this study consists of 571 customer records and 571 transaction records. The analysis was conducted by constructing Recency, Frequency, and Monetary (RFM) attributes, where recency represents the time difference between the most recent transaction and a reference date, frequency represents the total number of transactions per customer, and monetary represents the total purchase value per customer. The RFM data were then clustered using the K-Means algorithm with K = 3 clusters. The results indicate that K-Means was successfully implemented in a web-based system and was able to generate customer segmentation into three clusters with distinct purchasing characteristics, reflected by the number of members and the average RFM values in each cluster. This segmentation can support decision-making for more targeted promotions, customer retention, and product offering strategies according to the characteristics of each customer group.

Abstract

. Renewable energy has become an alternative solution to the dependence on fossil fuels, which produce pollution and cause environmental damage. Solar Power Plants (SPP) are a type of power plant that has been widely developed, based on solar cells arranged into solar panels with various configurations for their utilization. SPPs require an inverter in their system, making the inverter's role crucial as a link between the DC power source and the AC electrical load. The inverters implemented in SPP systems are very diverse, for example, the very conventional push-pull inverter. The implementation then evolved using a quasi-sinusoidal inverter with an H-bridge topology with three arms. Meanwhile, inverters better known for their superior performance are H-bridge inverters with bipolar and unipolar switching control. The control methods for these two inverters are based on Sinusoidal Pulse Width Modulation (SPWM) with different configurations. Inverters implemented in a solar power generation system must meet specific criteria and standards. Therefore, the Single-Phase Three-Arm Inverter controlled by an Arduino Mega 2560 is a solution for SPPs. With a three-arm H-bridge topology, this inverter is an improvement over the conventional H-bridge inverter. The additional arm minimizes distortion/disturbance in the current and increases the power conversion capacity of the inverter. With the increase in the number of semiconductor components, the stress and heat load on each component will be more evenly distributed. The minimum system of the Arduino Mega 2560 can control this inverter and reduces the cost of its implementation. The output waveform of this inverter has minimal disturbance and can convert high power. The output voltage of this inverter can meet the standards of PT PLN (the Indonesian state electricity company) and has been tested under resistive and inductive loads

Abstract

Abstract. Motorcycle theft remains a serious problem due to the widespread use of conventional vehicle security systems that are easily compromised. This study aims to implement an Internet of Things (IoT)–based motorcycle security control and location tracking system using the prototype method, with Telegram as the user interface. The system is developed using an Arduino Uno microcontroller, a SIM900A GSM module for communication, a Ublox Neo-6M GPS module for location tracking, and a relay module as the vehicle ignition control actuator. System testing was conducted at several locations in Gunung Sindur District, Bogor Regency, through functional testing and GPS accuracy evaluation. The results show that the system is capable of remotely controlling the motorcycle ignition with a success rate of 100%. The average system response time is approximately one minute, which is influenced by GSM network quality. The system can also provide real-time vehicle location information via Telegram in the form of coordinates and a Google Maps link. GPS accuracy testing indicates an average positional deviation of 23 meters compared to Google Maps, which is within an acceptable tolerance range. Therefore, the developed system is considered effective and practical as an additional security solution to enhance motorcycle protection.

Abstract

Abstract. Digital transformation in education requires efficient administrative systems to overcome manual process limitations. This research analyzes and designs an online registration information infrastructure integrated with digital payment systems at SD Islam Tahfiz Quran Daarussunnah using Structured System Analysis and Design Method (SSADM) methodology. System design utilizes Entity Relationship Diagrams, Logical Record Structures, and Unified Modeling Language to construct robust database architecture. Implementation employs Laravel framework with Midtrans payment gateway integration enabling various digital payment methods accompanied by automatic WhatsApp notifications and PDF transaction receipt printing. Black Box testing validates system functionality, White Box Testing yields cyclomatic complexity value of 2, while User Response evaluation involving 34 respondents demonstrates high satisfaction levels with 68.24% extremely satisfied with design and performance, and 71.76% with overall satisfaction. This system significantly enhances administrative process efficiency, data recording accuracy, and payment transaction transparency, simultaneously eliminating risks of physical document loss and manual data entry errors frequently occurring in conventional systems.

Abstract

significant increase in the volume of customer transaction data, but its utilization as a basis for strategic decision-making remains suboptimal. Priority customers are a high-value segment that requires a deep understanding of transaction patterns to support improved service quality and loyalty. This study aims to analyze the application of data mining methods using the Naive Bayes algorithm to classify priority customer transactions at PT. CIMB Niaga into Silver, Gold, Platinum, and Black categories. The research methods used include literature review, secondary data collection in the form of priority customer transaction data, including transaction frequency, transaction type, nominal amount, and balance, requirements analysis, system design, implementation, and system testing. The dataset used consists of a number of priority customer transaction data simulated to resemble real banking conditions. The results show that the Naive Bayes algorithm is capable of classifying priority customer transactions effectively and efficiently with a sufficient level of accuracy and relatively fast computation time. The developed system is able to display classification results in a structured manner and supports analysis of customer transaction behavior. The conclusion of this study indicates that applying data mining with the Naive Bayes algorithm can be a solution to support strategic decision-making, particularly in priority customer segmentation, improving service quality, and banking operational efficiency.

Abstract

The selection of the best students in schools often faces challenges as the process is still carried out manually, making it inefficient, subjective, and potentially unfair. This research aims to design and develop a web-based Decision Support System (DSS) using the SMART (Simple Multi-Attribute Rating Technique) method to assist MTS Nurul Qur’an Cengkareng in determining the best student objectively and transparently. The system evaluates students based on five main criteria: Sidanira score, attendance, attitude, extracurricular activities, and discipline. Each criterion is weighted according to its importance, producing a fair and measurable ranking of students. The implementation results show that applying the SMART method improves the accuracy and efficiency of the assessment process and facilitates decision-making for school authorities. With this system, the process of selecting the best student becomes faster, more systematic, and accountable.

Abstract

Abstract. News portals are an important source of information for the public, but the large number of articles often makes it difficult for readers to get the news they need. Therefore, this study aims to create and build a news recommendation system for Jatengupdates using Content-Based Filtering (CBF) to increase content relevance for users. System development uses the Agile Scrum approach and the CBF Algorithm uses TF-IDF (Term Frequency-Inverse Document Frequency), Vector Space Model (VSM), and Cosine Similarity to assess the similarity between articles based on keywords. To ensure that the system runs correctly, the system is tested using the Blackbox method. The test results show that all system components function well. The recommendation system achieved a relevance level of 85.71% based on user responses, with 33 out of 34 responses considered relevant. Therefore, the application of the Content-Based Filtering algorithm on the Jatengupdates news portal has proven effective in increasing content relevance as well as user engagement.
