Abstract

Employee performance evaluation at PD Jamkos has traditionally been conducted manually through written records, which makes the decision-making process time-consuming and susceptible to subjectivity. This research aims to design and develop a web-based decision support system to assist management in determining the best employees in an objective, efficient, and fair manner. The system applies the SMART (Simple Multi Attribute Rating Technique) method by assigning weights to each criterion and calculating the total score of every employee. The evaluation criteria include discipline, work quality, teamwork, and initiative. The system produces a ranking of employees based on the highest scores, thereby facilitating management in determining salary adjustments and bonus distribution. The system was implemented using PHP, HTML, and a MySQL database.

Abstract

Abstract. Stock price fluctuations are complex and play a crucial role in investment decision-making. Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI) shares, as one of the largest banking institutions in Indonesia, often reflect national economic conditions. Conventional approaches such as fundamental and technical analysis have limitations in capturing the non-linear patterns inherent in time-series stock price data. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the capability of the Random Forest algorithm in modeling Bank BRI stock prices based on historical data and to evaluate the accuracy of the resulting prediction model. This research utilizes one year of historical Bank BRI stock price data, consisting of 301 observations, with variables including Open, High, Low, Close, Adjusted Close, and Volume. The model was developed using the Random Forest algorithm with 200 estimators and no maximum tree depth, implemented using the PHP programming language. The dataset was divided into 80% training data and 20% testing data. The experimental results indicate that the Random Forest algorithm is capable of effectively modeling Bank BRI stock price patterns and adequately following actual price trends. Model evaluation produced a Mean Absolute Error (MAE) of Rp 155.0986 and a Root Mean Square Error (RMSE) of Rp 193.1669, with an average prediction error of Rp 155.1005. Most predictions from the 60 testing data points exhibited an error rate below 2%, indicating satisfactory predictive accuracy. These findings demonstrate that the Random Forest algorithm can effectively represent fluctuations in Bank BRI stock prices based on historical data and serve as a foundation for future stock price forecasting reasearch.

Abstract

Abstract Auxiliary load in utility-scale PV plants acts as a parasitic load that diminishes the net energy yield exported to the grid. Utilizing solar carports offers a mitigation strategy; however, field-data-based performance studies in tropical climates remain limited compared to simulations. This research evaluates the technical performance and energy self-sufficiency of a 3.3 kWp solar carport at Sengkol PV Plant using field measurement data based on IEC 61724 standards. The analysis covers irradiation, temperature, energy yield, and load profiles. Measurements indicate the system achieved 100% Self-Consumption with no reverse power flow, contributing an average Self-Sufficiency of 10.65%. However, the Performance Ratio (PR) averaged 63.70%, indicating significant thermal losses due to power temperature coefficients when ambient temperatures exceeded 28.5°C. This study confirms that solar carport integration effectively supports the facility's base load, though passive thermal management strategies are recommended to optimize efficiency in low-roof installations

Abstract

Excavators are essential heavy equipment for various field projects, such as construction, mining, and plantations. One type of excavator widely used in various sectors is the Caterpillar 320C. This study aims to determine the effect of hydraulic pump pressure on vital components in heavy equipment, particularly excavators. A critical component in this system is the hydraulic pump, which generates fluid pressure to drive the actuator. This study also aims to analyze the effect of hydraulic pressure and fluid temperature (using Meditran SAE 10 oil) on hydraulic pump performance in a Caterpillar 300C excavator. The method used in this study was an experiment, testing the pump at various fluid pressures and temperatures. Observed parameters included flow rate and pump efficiency. Test results showed that the optimal pressure was in the range of 200–220 bar, with fluid temperatures not exceeding 60°C. Excessive increases in temperature and pressure lead to decreased efficiency and flow rate, as well as increased risk of component wear.

Abstract

Abstract. This research analyzes the impact of labor allocation on construction project time and cost using Work Sampling and Objective Matrix (OMAX) methods. The study is prompted by the classic issues of delays and cost overruns caused by inefficient resource allocation and low productivity.Using a quantitative observational approach, field data was processed through four OMAX stages: defining indicators (such as Labor Utilization Rate), scale normalization, weighting, and calculating productivity indices. The results indicate that combining these two methods effectively identifies limiting factors, such as material waiting times and field coordination issues. The key finding shows a labor productivity index of 0.58 (58%), categorized as "good" but with room for improvement. The study demonstrates a causal relationship where optimized labor allocation directly boosts productivity, subsequently shortening duration and reducing costs. In conclusion, OMAX-based evaluation enables more precise resource management to minimize project risks.

Abstract

Exams are One of the methods used in the teaching and learning process to evaluate the quality of learning. However, they also create additional workload for teachers, especially during grading, as it takes time to compare students’ varying answers, particularly for essay questions. The goal of this project is to create a web-based, real-time grading system that will help teachers in correcting essay answers quickly and easily. The system employs the Cosine Similarity method to measure similarity between student answers and the answer key based on text vector representations, as well as the Levenshtein Distance algorithm to calculate similarity between two strings through the fewest possible operations (substitution, deletion, and insertion). Mean Absolute Error (MAE) and Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) were used in testing to gauge the correctness of the system by comparing results with manual grading. The results showed an MAE value of 0.003298 and a MAPE of 0.002484%, indicating a very low error rate, meaning the system can produce scores close to actual values. Additionally, User Acceptance Testing (UAT) showed a high acceptance rate averaging 90.98%, indicating the system is suitable for use.

Abstract

Abstract. The IT Department at PT Panorama Indah Permai (Saloka Theme Park) functions as a support unit providing IT Helpdesk services to handle technical issues and user requests. However, the current process is still manual, with ticket recording conducted spreadsheet and reporting carried out via Handy Talkie, telephone, and WhatsApp, resulting in unstructured documentation and delayed responses. Therefore, a web based helpdesk information system was developed to improve the efficiency of recording, managing, and task distribution. The system was built using the Laravel framework, PHP programming language, and MySQL database. The developed system is expected to provide an integrated platform that facilitates ticket status monitoring, management, and systematic documentation of requests, thereby accelerating problem resolution and improving the quality of IT services.

Abstract

Abstract. The water spray system in a finish mill plays a vital role in maintaining material temperature and grinding process stability. Manual control often causes fluctuations in the outlet temperature, leading to suboptimal operations and excessive water consumption. This study aims to implement a Proportional-Integral (PI) control on the water spray system to improve thermal stability and water use efficiency. The methodology includes designing the control system, determining parameters through a tuning process, and testing system performance by comparing conditions before and after implementation. The results show that PI control significantly reduces temperature deviation and accelerates system response time compared to conventional control. By maintaining the product output temperature at a stable setpoint, the application of PI control is proven to reduce water consumption by up to 20%. These findings indicate that the system can operate more optimally without compromising product quality. The implications of this research confirm that PI control is effective in increasing resource efficiency and has high potential for standardization across other grinding units in the cement industry.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of information technology demands that businesses, including those in the culinary industry, continually innovate to improve customer service. Roti'O Restaurant currently faces challenges in creating an efficient and convenient service process, particularly during the ordering and payment stages. Based on these conditions, this research focuses on the design and development of a web-based food ordering system directly connected to the payment system. The System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) method was used in its development because this approach provides a coherent and organized work process, starting from the planning stage, needs identification, system design, development process, testing, and system implementation.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the need for effective and efficient clean water management at KSM Tirta Lestari Flamboyan. Currently, water usage recording and billing are still conducted manually, including field data collection, spreadsheet-based recapitulation, and manual creation of payment receipts, which are time-consuming, repetitive, and vulnerable to mistakes. The objective of this research is to create and develop a web-based water billing management system to facilitate water usage recording, automatically generate monthly billing recaps, manage payment data, and provide digital payment receipts. The system is analyzed using the PIECES framework and developed using the Waterfall model with PHP, Laravel, and MySQL. The findings indicate that the system is capable of record water usage data, generate monthly reports automatically, display payment status, and provide digital payment receipts. Therefore, the system improves efficiency, accuracy, and transparency in administrative processes at KSM Tirta Lestari Flamboyan.
