Abstract

The rapid shift to online and technology-mediated learning during the COVID-19 pandemic significantly transformed Indonesia’s educational practices and intensified attention to how learning processes and outcomes are evaluated. This study maps the evolution of educational evaluation and e-learning research in Indonesia after the pandemic by examining publication trends, thematic patterns, and intellectual structures from 2020 to 2024. A total of 133 publications published between 2020 and 2024 were retrieved from Scopus using a structured search query construction procedure and analyzed through Biblioshiny. The analysis included annual scientific production, average citation trends, cumulative growth modelling, keyword co-occurrence mapping, thematic mapping, and conceptual structure analysis. Data quality was strengthened through duplicate checking, keyword standardization, metadata consistency checks, and verification of Indonesian institutional affiliations. The findings reveal five major clusters: e-learning as a central theme connecting evaluation and digital pedagogy; learning assessment and student performance; educational technology and AI-supported learning tools; learning systems and platform-based instructional models; and emerging topics such as digital literacy, local wisdom, metaverse-related learning, and instrument development. These results indicate a post-pandemic shift toward technology-supported evaluation practices while also exposing gaps in validated digital assessment instruments, longitudinal evaluation, AI-integrated assessment frameworks, and equity-sensitive studies across diverse Indonesian educational contexts.

Abstract

This study aims to provide a quantitative synthesis of the association between socioeconomic status (SES) and students’ financial numeracy. The systematic review followed PRISMA guidelines and included 26 journal articles published between 2021 and 2026, representing 166,427 participants from 15 countries. Using a random-effects model, the meta-analysis found a statistically significant moderate positive association between SES and financial numeracy, r = 0.31, 95% CI [0.21, 0.40], p < .001. However, substantial heterogeneity was observed, I² = 98.4%, indicating considerable variation across studies. Subgroup analyses suggested that the SES–financial numeracy relationship was stronger in developing countries and rural geographical contexts, where family resources may play a greater role in students’ financial learning opportunities. The association also appeared more pronounced at the university level, suggesting a widening SES gap across educational progression. No substantial evidence of publication bias was detected. This study concludes that SES is an important international predictor of students’ financial numeracy and highlights the need for early, inclusive, and context-sensitive financial mathematics education, particularly for students from lower-SES backgrounds.

Abstract

Indonesia faces two main challenges: increasing energy demand and the increasingly visible impacts of environmental change related to greenhouse gas emissions, land-use pressure, and climate risk. Previous PLTS studies in Indonesia mainly discuss technical feasibility, rooftop adoption, economics, policy, or grid issues separately. Fewer reviews explain why PLTS should be prioritized as a climate-mitigation option and why it is especially suitable for Indonesia. This paper addresses that gap through a document-based narrative review of climate reports, emission statistics, PLTS studies, policy literature, adoption studies, and environmental-impact evidence. The novelty is a climate-centered PLTS suitability argument for Indonesia. By synthesizing 43 references across five analytical dimensions, this review identifies five reasons why PLTS deserves priority: high solar-resource potential, modular deployment on roofs and reservoirs, compatibility with daytime public-building and cooling loads, scalability from household to utility-scale systems, and measurable avoided emissions when solar generation replaces fossil-based electricity. The review finds that PLTS can support climate-change mitigation, but its benefits depend on realistic site assessment, grid compatibility, storage evaluation, monitoring, public acceptance, maintenance readiness, and lifecycle management. This article contributes practical guide for the energy transition to cleaner energy and is suitable for Indonesia as an archipelagic country located in the equatorial region.

Abstract

Educational games and game-based learning have gained increasing attention in educational research because of their potential to enhance student engagement, motivation, and learning outcomes. This study aims to map the development of educational games and game-based learning research in Indonesian education and provide an overview of its intellectual structure. A bibliometric approach was employed using data retrieved from the Scopus database, with article selection conducted systematically through the PRISMA framework, resulting in 197 articles published between 2011 and 2026. Publications indexed in 2026 were included up to the data retrieval date and may therefore represent a partial indexing year. Data were analyzed using R Program and VOSviewer through publication trend analysis, word cloud visualization, keyword clustering, and keyword novelty analysis. The findings show a substantial increase in research output, reaching its highest level in 2025. Four major thematic clusters were identified: Digital Learning Ecosystems, Educational Technology Integration, Immersive Game Development, and Instructional Design Frameworks. The research landscape is strongly associated with gamification, learning systems, and game-based learning, while “Augmented Reality,” “Project-Based Learning,” and “Educational Technology” emerged as growing research topics. This study contributes by revealing the thematic evolution, intellectual structure, and emerging directions of the field, providing insights for researchers, educators, curriculum developers, and policymakers to support evidence-based implementation of game-based learning in Indonesian education.

Abstract

Powdered Etawa goat milk products are increasingly developed as shelf-stable dairy products; however, their quality should be evaluated according to the characteristics of the product and the applicable quality requirements. This study aimed to evaluate the chemical and microbiological characteristics of a powdered Etawa goat milk product produced by a powdered Etawa goat milk processing plant in Yogyakarta and assess its conformity with SNI 2970:2015. The study used a descriptive observational design and a single product sample obtained from one production batch. The product was produced using an open-pan crystallization process involving the addition of refined sugar and seed powder. Proximate characteristics, heavy metals, prohibited chemicals, other chemical contaminants, and microbiological parameters were evaluated using laboratory analyses and compared descriptively with SNI 2970:2015. Moisture (1.54%) and fat (29.12%) complied with the specified requirements, whereas protein content (16.87%) was substantially lower than the 32% minimum specified for milk powder. Pb, Cd, Sn, Hg, As, melamine, alcohol, caffeine, formaldehyde, borax, methanyl yellow, and rhodamine B were not detected or were negative, while quinine was reported as <6 mg/kg. Salmonella spp. and Staphylococcus aureus were not detected. The results indicate satisfactory chemical and microbiological safety for the analyzed batch; however, the low protein content should be interpreted in relation to the product formulation and the applicability of the milk-powder standard to this sugar-crystallized product. Because only one batch was evaluated without analytical replication, the findings should not be generalized to all production batches or commercial products.
