Abstract

This study entitled parking attendants interaction with tourists at Kuta Beach tourist attraction, Badung District, Bali. The background backs by parking rates that have been marked-up by unscrupulous parking attendants at a cost that does not match the price listed on the parking ticket. The purpose of this study is to determine the practice of parking by parking attendants at Kuta Beach tourist attraction and to understand the interaction between parking attendants with tourists in Kuta Beach tourist attraction. The method used in this study is a qualitative method. Qualitative methods referred in this study is an overview of the practice of parking in general and the practice of withdrawal of parking rates that have been marked up by parking attendants in Kuta Beach tourist attraction, Bali. From these results, it can be explained that the number of tourists who pay are not as it is printed on the tickets, in fact tourist pay higher rate than in the parking ticket. Based on the result from questioner, tourist are not satisfied with the parking attendant quality and the parking area condition. There is no real interaction between tourists and parking attendants, only when tourists want to have their bike/car out then the parking attendant asking for the money. Sometimes parking attendants didn’t show their gratitude at all to the tourists by saying thank you.

Abstract

This research was conducted to find out the motivation of female tourist to visit Gay club, the perception of the tourist and local community towards the Gay Club. The methods used in this research id descriptive qualitative. The technique of determination of informants used is purposive sampling technique. Data sources used are primary and secondary data sources. Primary data in this research is sourced from direct observation to the research location by means of observation and interviews. While secondary data in this research are the data obtained from the documentation or studies library to complement the primary data. The result of the research shows that most tourist say curious to see Gay club as a motivation for a visit; most tourist plead happy after seeing the atrractions there; most neutral against Gay tourist; most local community already know about Gay club; most local community are not disturbed; most local people are not benefitting from the presence of the Gay club. Abstract

The participation of local community is very needed in practicing ecotourism at Bena traditional village to support their ecotourism development. Ecotourism is an alternative tourism that has advanced and nature base by focus and experience on nature along with giving the lowest impact on the environment. Based on the statement above this research is important to be done in order that environment conservation and their culture be still maintained by the local community besides it becomes an example of model or example for the other village. It also becomes a source of income that can improve the local community economic of Bena traditional village. The method that used to colect the data in this study was observation method, interviewing method and documentation. The data was used qualitative and quantitative by data source, primary and secondary data. Purposive sampling technique was used to get the information from informant determaining and data analysis is used qualitative descriptive by ecotourism practice concept approach. The result of this study showed that the local community kept their nature conservation in practicing ecotourism in Bena village. The local community developed their ecotourism dominantly as one of activity tourism in Bena.

Abstract

Denpasar Heritage City Tour is a recreation program based in Denpasar. This program was set to adjust the number of tourists to the city of Denpasar in particular. In the implementation of this program is still not very well known and used by tourists, but this program has run better. This study aims to find out how the tourism city of Denpasar and the characteristics of users of city tour program. Collection data of this study techniques are observation, in-depth interviews, documentation studies and questionnaires. The thechnique of data analysist was used in this research by qualitative data analysis. This data indicate that it focus to the tourism in the city of Denpasar at this time and the questionnaire’s result was choosen and calculated to determine the characteristics of tourists using the City Tour package. This study’s result has indicated that the tourists characteristic of program city tour by sex, tourists City Tour dominated by women, according to the age of tourists on the City Tour package users dominated 31-40 years old, according to the origin of the user City Tour package users in the dominance of the Asian continent, according to the tourist status of the City Tour user is dominated by married couples, depends on the level of education of the last tourists City Tour users dominated by scholars, according to monthly income Tourist Tour Tour dominated tourist income an average of 4 million and above and according to work User City Tour is dominated by private employees. Abstract

ABSTRACT Unit Pelaksana Teknis Dinas (UPTD) Subak Museum is a museum of agricultural equipment storages, it is located in Tabanan regency. The existence of this museum it is important to remember at this time of our generation are less concerned with the existence of paddy which is the spearhead of human life at the same time has become a culture that is ingrained. It is important to preserve Subak Museum for information and education as well as of course to save a variety of objects related of subak. That assumption is underlying me to choose this topic for research. The topic is "Conservation of Unit Pelaksana Teknis Dinas (UPTD) Subak Museum as Cultural Travel Attractions in Tabanan". The type of data and resources of data used the qualitative data, primary data and secondary data. Collecting data organize by observation, interviews, documentation, and literature study, and research instruments used interview guides. Furthermore the data which was collected will be descriptively by analysis of qualitative data. The analysis of qualitative data it is clearly easy to explain the result and answer the problems that we want to find. Conservation of Subak Museum as Cultural Travel Attractions in this study contains of two definition such as the static and dynamic, but in this research I talk over about the dynamic point. In a dynamic sense such as the creativity how to maintenance, protection but not to change the existing value and reflected through the management, activities and human resources information.

Abstract

Ayodia Oemah Strawberry is one of the tourism destinations in Kintamani which is unique and still rarely found in Bali. This agro-tourism-themed tourist venue has a variety of tourist facilities such as a restaurant, racetrack, tree house, spacious yard for outbound, padlock game of love, and the most special is the hydroponic strawberry garden where tourists or visitorscan also learn everything about strawberry and how to grow it. This research will be discussed what kind of tourism attractionare in Ayodia Oemah Strawberry so that tourists know everything they can do duringvisit this place. The type of data used in this quantitative research is qualitative and quantitative data, while the data sources are primary data and secondary data. Data collection was done by observation, interview, and literature study. Data was analyzed by using qualitative descriptive data analysis. Result of the research concluded that Ayodia Oemah Strawberry has several complementary points of tourist attraction which are categorized into four terms, as follows attractions, amenities, accessibilities, and ancillary.Overall, Ayodia Oemah Strawberry has complied with the category as one of the tourist destinations in Kintamani. To increase tourist visits, in addition to improving service and range of tourist attractions, the officials should be vigorous in doing promotion through social media. Abstract

Visiting an alternative tourism that adopt sustainable tourism development concept is being trend for tourist. Bali as the best tourism destination in the world uses this chance with developing spiritual tourism that known with Tri Hita Karana and one of them is Taman Mumbul that located in Desa Sangeh, Kecamatan Abiansemal, Kabupaten Badung. This tourist attraction is offering the spiritual attractions named by melukat. But there’s many constraints that need further handling by the management in order to make a positive impression from the tourist perception. The purpose of this research is for knowing about tourist perception and describing how the ideal management that can implemented in Taman Mumbul. The data that used in this research is quantitative and qualitative approach by observation, documentation, literature, interview and questionnaire. For data analysis, it used explorative descriptive and Likert Scale with component of tourist destination theory and sustainable tourism concept. The result from this research indicates that tourist perception for Taman Mumbul management get a good judgement although three aspects in facility variable obtain a bad judgement. Then, it formulated into the ideal management form that contained about protection of security and comfort, community empowerment and preservation of natural and culture environment. In clonclusion, the management have done a good performance but it will be better if they alleviate the constraints that they have faced in order to create tourist satisfaction when they come to Taman Mumbul. Abstract

Abstract Kuta Beach as a tourist attraction are visited by many tourists, where there are many activities and facilities that cater to tourists, but nevertheless the high level of use of the road on this tourist attraction resulted in congestion problems, therefore it is necessary to study the impact of congestion to provide good service for tourists. Based on the conducted research that revealed two problems, namely how the situation congestion in Kuta Beach? How does the perception of tourists and congestion in Kuta Beach? To uncover problems in the research using primary and secondary data sources, while the type of data used is also quantitative and qualitative data. The methods of collecting data were used through observation, interviews, questionnaires, and literature studies. Sampling technique and analysis of the data were used descriptive qualitative analysis. Congestion occurs because the research results owned roads Kuta Beach and also tourists who want to cross to a place (Kuta beach, restaurants, hotels, and cafes) cause the termination of an activity transportations activities that cause congestion that occurs. The perception of tourists stated that the perception of tourists on the narrow access road in Kuta Beach dominant states is not very good by 27 people (34%), type the perception of congestion problems at Kuta Beach dominant is not well stated 32 people (40%), tourist perception that congestion disturbing activity or work activity trips traveled dominant states are very disturbing as many as 43 people (54%).

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to determine the domestic ecotourist perception against prostitution in Bali. Thus, the result of this research can be used as a reference to see how far the practice of prostitution is needed in a tourist destination, especially in Bali, of course from the point of view of domestic ecotourist as one of the target tourism markets. Data collection procedures using documentation studies and questionnaire to 30 domestic ecotourist in Eka Karya Bali Botanic Garden. Data were analyzed using a likert scale, presented in tables and graphics, and describe by descriptive qualitative. The results of this research revealed that, if prostitution in Bali is categorized as a positive action is not agreed. Then, if prostitution in Bali is categorized as a negative action, was agreed. Abstract

This research is about the management of which has been done and the development strategy of tourism “Bumi Sakti Alam Kerinci” province of Jambi Kerinci Regency. The purpose of this research is to know the application of management conducted by Disporaparbud based on management functions and define the priorities of the development strategy will be undertaken. Data collection is done by observation, interviews, library and documentation. Methods undertaken in this study analysed by Analitical chain processes are described qualitatively. The results of this research are indicating not optimal tourism management made during this so do not provide optimal development impact. This research resulted in the development of 6 strategies well for the optimal development of tourism kerinci. The strategy is calculated in advance does it weigh against management functions, and then produce a development strategy a priority in future development.
