Abstract

Tourism development should involve the local community as one of strakeholders in its management. In the management of tourist villages, local community should be active in tourism activities to gain the benefits . Therefore local communities also have the right to be able to earn the economic benefits equitably. This study aims to determine the participation of local communities in the management of tourism activites in the Jatiluwih Village, Bali. This research is important because local community participation in tourist village can determine sustainable development The research methodology used in this study is a qualitative research, with observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation as well as using the concept of a tourism village and community participation theory to analyze the problems in the field. The result shows that decision-making in local community participation is still lacking. They have chance to listened or hearded but their opinion not necesseraliy considered. Benefits received by the local community from tourism activities are the community has begun to get the right share from the tourism development of their village. Abstract

The purpose of this article is to identify the management model of ecotourism in the village of Beloi. This research was conducted in the village of Beloi using survey method. Data collection is conducted in-depth interviews and observations to the respondents. Method of sampling is random with interviewees interviewed related parties among others, head of Atauro Island, village chief Beloi, representatives of local communities, and investors. The data collected is analyzed using the concept of ecotourism. These results indicate that the involvement of local communities in tourism activities in the village of Beloi still minimal. Ownership of tourism facilities which are dominated by the Government and investors because the local people can not feel the Beloi Village economic benefits. In addition Management Model of ecotourism in the village is still dominated by Government Beloi and investors. Local communities as the owners of the attraction still rarely involved in tourism activities. Keywords: Model, Ecotourism, Participation, Local Community

Abstract

Abstract Ikan banyak is one of village. Ikan Banyak has ecotourism potentials which is consist of several various kind such us as physic and non physic. High potentials as mentioned above is not linier with citizen allife surround. Based on these background there might be research should be necessary to slove two kind of problems, they are describe what kind of ecotourism potentials belonging of Ikan Banyak and how to develop ecotourism potensials as tourism object. The result of this research states that Ikan Banyak  Village has physic sources such as : Sinamar River, Batu Balago Agriculture, Gosan, Sodah Cave, Batu Bulan Waterfall, andweather of Ikan Banyak. In other side Ikan Banyak has non physic potentials such as : Monyabik, Batagak Pangulu, Potang Balimau, and Mondua Basamo. Thus SWOT Analyzed produce strategy ecotourism development suc as SO,WO,ST,and WT strategy.

Abstract

Therefore local communities also have the right to be able to taste the economic benefits equitably. This study aims to determine the participation of local communities in the management in Ekowisata Kampoeng Kepiting Tuban, Bali. This research is important because local community participation in ecotourism can determine sustainable development The research methodology used in this study is a qualitative research, with qualitative observation, semi-structured interviews, and documents qualitative as well as using the concept of a tourist attraction, management and public participation theory to analyze the problems in the field. The results show management in Ekowisata Kampoeng Kepiting is organized by Fishermen Group Wanasari Tuban, Bali and the employees who work not only from members of the fishermen but also come from family members of fishermen. Abstract

Baliwoso camp that is located in Pengotan Village, Bangli Regency. Pengotan village has relatively cool temperature, with orange and coffee as the main commodity in this village. Baliwoso Camp presence drives the tourism in Pengotan Village, especially for special interest tourists who want to feel different sensations in his leisure. With the potiential of its tourism of Baliwoso Camp, which is closely related to the world of the campsite and to introduce local culture. Baliwoso Camp packages it in a modern way so that there is interest alone to research more deeply about the potential for special interest tourism in Baliwoso Camp. This research will be discussed to identify the components of tourism in Baliwoso Camp with 4A concept that focuses on attraction an activity, accessibility, amenity and ancilliary. To know the potential is done by direct observation and interviews with owner of Baliwoso Camp in Pengotan Village. With four categories of potential tourist attraction special interest in Baliwoso Camp knowable. Tourism potiential in Baliwoso Camp is natural and artificial is characteristic. With champsite atmosphere more attractive for special interest tourist. Local people who are active in Pengotan Village become one of the potential that can be developed in Baliwoso Camp. The category may also indicate the extent to which the development Baliwoso Camp both physical and non physical. It affects the local communities so that they can build a better future of Pengotan Village.

Abstract

Ubud traditional village is a tourist area which is located in Gianyar regency. If the tourist want know the culture of Bali they must come to Ubud. However, many issues and problems arise associated with security and  tourists comfortness. Based on it, this research was conducted to analyze the Local Community Efforts in Maintaining Security and Tourists Comfortness in Ubud Traditional Village.The method used in this research is a research method with qualitative descriptive analysis technique to analyze the efforts and actions of local communities. Sources of data derived from primary data and secondary data. Data collecting technique using in-depth interviews, observation and study of literatures. Determination of informants from local communities in this study using purposive sampling technique. This study is limited by the analysis of the social action theories and coordination systems. The results of this research obtained that local community efforts in maintaining security is the assignment of trepti unit who participate in keeping any tourism activities..

Abstract

Lumintang City Park is located at Mulawarman Street, Lumintang, Dauh Puri Kaja, North Denpasar, while Renon City Park is located in Niti Mandala, Denpasar, Renon. Renon City Park Located in the middle of Denpasar City.Both places are in the same area, and not far from the city center. Both parks are very crowded visitors to do leisure and recreation activities. The method used to find the data is observation, interview, and questionnaire. The method used to determine the sample is quota sampling and accidental sampling. Methods for analyze data is comparative analysis and descriptive statistical analysis. The purpose of this research was to know the comparison between Lumintang city Park and Renon City Park as a place of leisure and recreation. The result of comparison with the first aspect is he leisure equation as a activities and the mood / positive mental, the difference is in the number of visitors. the second is recreation equations visitors a lot to relax at the day, the difference is in the number of respondents. The third aspect is physical motivations the equaptions is for sports, the difference is the number of respondents. The fourth aspect is facilities include sports equipment and children playground, the equation good management, the difference is the number of respondents. The equation is a good parking area management and the differences is in the number of respondents and the equaptions isa good toilet management and the difference in the number of respondents. The similarity is there is no management for the trash can, the difference is in Lumintang city park many respondents said not good while in Renon city Park many respondents stated good. And the last management of the park bench the equation does not exist whereas the difference is in Lumintang city park many respondents stated good and in Renon City Park many respondents stated not good. The fifth aspect is visitor aspect of the equation there are many female visitors, the difference is number of respondents. The age aspect the equation is age of visitors is 16-25 years old, the difference is the number of respondents. Equality in employment is public servant, the difference is number of respondents. For the origin of the region there is no similarity and thedifference is in Lumintang City Park many visitors that comes from Denpasar while in Renon City Park many visitors from the outside Denpasar. Abstract

Abstract Goa Peteng located in Jimbaran. Goa Peteng is a prehistoric cave, there founded relics in the form of Linga and Yoni and statues of the goddess Parvati. Surrounding by beauty scenery around Goa Peteng, it became the main attraction for visitors. Goa Peteng development managed by PT. Teddy Chandra Jaya. Beside Goa Peteng as the main attraction there, Goa Peteng also plans provided travel support facilities such as: restorant, art shops, stage art performances, and outbound tourism such as the flying fox, Jungle tracking, rock climbing. Because Goa Peteng is an ancient heritage sites and there is a sacred worship place, then in development needs to get the support of the surrounding community. Thus, need to do research on public perception of development and supporting Goa Peteng as Tourism object and the perceptions of the visitors of Goa Peteng. The data of this research is qualitative and quantitative data. Qualitative data is data that is not in the form of numbers and cannot be counted as a general overview of the location of the research, public perception, the existence and history of Goa Peteng. Meanwhile, Quantitative data is data in the form of numbers that can be calculated in this case is the growth of tourist arrivals to Bali in last five years. Based on the research results and discussion, it can be concluded the public perception of Goa Peteng development as a tourist attraction in the village of Jimbaran, in Likert scale obtained by calculating an overall average of 4.54 from 100 people. Meanwhile, the perception of tourists to the area development Peteng Goa as a tourist attraction in the village of Jimbaran Likert scale obtained by calculating the overall average 4.52 out of 5 rating.

Abstract

This article reveals about business ownership dive by tourism entrepreneurs both foreign entrepreneurs (foreign citizens) as well as local entrepreneurs (Indonesian citizen) in Pemuteran village and its licensing business. Besides, it also discusses the form of policies set by the central government and local government related to foreign entrepreneurs who set up businesses dive tourism in order to protect assets belonging to the community, especially the local businessmen in the village of Pemuteran. Data were collecting using purposive sampling technique with qualitative descriptive in the form of a general overview of the Pemuteran village, establishment of tourism in the dive center by foreign businessmen and local businessmen in Pemuteran village and observations contained in the field notes and other explanations related to writing. These data are presented in the form of descriptions and documentation. Source of data obtained from the primary data and secondary data. Sources of primary data derived from observations to the test site and in-depth interviews. Secondary data sources such as reference books, journals and archives associated with the research. The data obtained are translated descriptively. The results showed, the number of foreign businessmen who make an effort dive center in the Pemuteran Village more when compared with local businessmen. Therefore, government policies are needed to make the rules - strict rules regarding foreign businessmen who opened the business in Pemuteran village Key Words : Policy, Dive Centre, Pemuteran Village

Abstract

ABSTRACT This research is about Efforts of Batam City Tourism and Cultural Office (Disparbud) to promote shopping tourism in Riau Archipelago. Shopping tourism as one of attractions that has competitive potency in Batam’s tourism. The Tourist attraction is expected to motivate foreign and domestic travelers to shop in Batam. In addition, through its activities is also able to maintain the stability and sustainability of development when the industry as an  ultimate key in the economy sector of Batam City is not running properly. The importance of this study to determine the form of attempt of Disparbud to promote shopping tourism and would like to know the function of shopping tourism promotion activities undertaken by Disparbud seen from direct observation and interviews. This study used a qualitative approach . Datas are used in this research is qualitative and quantitative data. Sources of data used in this study derived from primary data and secondary data. Data was collected by observation, indepth interviews, and documentation. Determination techniques with the base and the key informant technique. Data Analysis used in this research is a qualitative analysis in the form of descriptions. The results of this research showed that promotion activities shopping tourism by Disparbud Batam City has been implemented but not optimal. These because the implementation of such promotional activities encountered many obstacles in the field that should be of concern to all stakeholders and must be fixed. Forms of attempts of Disparbud Batam City to promote shopping tourism such as advertising activities, personal selling, sales promotion, public relations and direct marketing. Further, promotional activities are seen the function based on interviews, the real conditions in the field, and analyzed using concepts and theories.
