Perkembangan sektor pariwisata berawal dari dikenalnya suatu destinasi wisata termasuk aspek perencanaan, penataan, pengelolaan dan dampak yang ditimbulkannya sehingga menjadi kajian menarik para pemerhati pariwisata. Hasil dari kajian-kajian tersebut memerlukan media ilmiah untuk diketahui khalayak sebagai publikasi ilmiah, termasuk merupakan ”branded” yang menunjukkan kuantitas dan kualitas suatu perguruan tinggi. Melalui jurnal Destinasi Pariwisata, hasil penelitian, survei dan tulisan ilmiah populer kepariwisataan dipublikasikan sebagai salah satu upaya memberikan sumbangan dari dunia akademis kepada sektor pariwisata.

Abstract

This research was to analyze The Role of External Agent to Tourism Development of Samiran Tourism Village. Samiran Tourism Village become mainstay tourism attraction at Boyolali Regency. Samiran Tourism Village have natural potential namely Merapi mountain dan Merbabu, Samiran Tourism Village is located on slope of the mountain. The development of Samiran Tourism Village is so rapid, as evidenced by the achievement that 3rd national champion in prestigious event of Tourism Village Competition held by the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy. The successfull of Samiran Tourism Village today, because of the high participation of local communities. But, who would have thought tucked into role of external agent in the development. The external agent to become a director in the development of Samiran Tourism Village. This research conducted using qualitative methods, described through descriptive teqniques, data were collected through observation and depth interview on the informant. Selection of informant invitation purposive sampling technique. This study shows the role of external agent as a drafter, the mouthpiece in the information and tourism ambassador in the tourism development at the Samiran Tourism Village. Existing barriers be addressed to the quite and preferably local communities, especially younger generation must be learh how to be independent tourism area, in order to avoid dependency on external agent. Abstract

Tabanan Regency has a high prospect in the development of tourism and its complementary facilities. Tourism village is the alternative tourism products that can provide the development of rural areas that are certainly sustainable for the future. Timpag Village is one of the villages which located in Kerambitan District, Tabanan Regency which has several tourism potentials such as nature, cultures, and the local communities. The development of Rural Tourism in Timpag Village has a high value to be a tourist attraction but the reality this village has not been able to be a developed as a rural tourism. Based on these problems this research aims to determine “Development Strategies of Rural Tourism Based Local Community in Timpag Village, Kerambitan District, Tabanan Regency Bali.” The research method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive analysis supported by IFAS and EFAS analysis in designing a strategy for developing local community-based tourism villages used SWOT analysis. Data collection techniques are using the method of observation, interviews, library research. The result show the design of alternative strategies to develop community-based tourism villages that can be applied in the development of Rural Tourism in Timpag Village. There are six altrenative strategys that can be applied such as attractions development based on tourism potential, local communities involvement , tourism facilities development, tourism organisation development, improve the traditional security system, and improve the ability of communities about tourism development. Therefore, local communities need to preserve the tourism potential that is owned as a rural tourism product. Keywords: Rural Tourism, Community Based Tourism, and Strategy

Abstract

This research is located at Wisata Agro Salak Pondoh Organik Ledoknongko (WASPOL), Bangunkerto Village that is one of the agritourism in Sleman District, Yogyakarta. The background of the research includes a variety of activity options in WASPOL, Salak Pondoh as a profitable commodity, and there is government support to preserve organic Salak Pondoh varieties. The tourist activities options in WASPOL is about cultivation, enjoy picking the salak and also processing the fruits into any other product in traditional way. Salak Pondoh is a profitable commodity because it can export in large quantities. The objective of this research is to identify the profile of tourists and marketing mix of WASPOL. The data is collected through interviews and observation. The informants are determined by purposive sampling technique. The data is analyzed qualitatively through the process of data reduction, display, and drawing/verification. The results of the study show that, the profile of tourists visiting WASPOL have the same purpose which is to conduct research, this is because there are researchers from various Universities and Schools in Indonesia. Tourists will also be taught how to cultivate Salak Pondoh by Farmers and can immediately pick and eat Salak fruit. The rate of tourists visits has decreased, from 2015 amounted to 3,493 visitors dropped to 2,523 visitors in 2016 with a percentage decrease of 72%, while in 2017 there were 1,278 visitors with a percentage decrease of 50%. The decline in tourist arrivals from 2015-2017 because WASPOL is more focused on the export of Salak Pondoh fruit. The results of the marketing mix analysis at WASPOL are where WASPOL exports Salak Pondoh to various countries such as China, Australia and Cambodia while salak processed products are only sale in souvenir shops in Yogyakarta. The price of salak exported is Rp. 50,000/Kg, while for salak fruit for sale in plantation areas for Rp. 20,000/basket. Salak Pondoh production process is carried out at the home of the farmers’ groups and all who carry out cultivation activities and salak marketing are people who come from Sub Ledoknongko. Salak plantations are neatly arranged and clean from rubbish. WASPOL is promoted through their official blog, sicantikledoknongko.blogspot.com. There are several recommendation to the management of WASPOL as follow: to add the facilities like toilet and signboard, promoting on social media, and if possible make a website that explains about WASPOL and existing tour packages. Abstract

Banyuwangi Regency is an area that has a variety of tourism potential either natural, cultural and artificial potential. One of the tourist attractions with its natural potential is Blimbingsari Beach. Blimbingsari Beach is one of the tourist attractions located in Banyuwangi Regency which is famous for its distinctive culinary fish. Currently tourists visit Blimbingsari Beach is still small compared to other tourist attractions. Tourism potential in Blimbingsari Beach is able to attract many tourists to visit by developing its tourist potential. This study used primary data sources obtained directly by observation and interviews, and data analysis techniques used in this study is a SWOT analysis which is a qualitative analysis tool that is done by examining internal and external factors. SWOT analysis compares the external factors which are opportunities and threats with internal factors which are strengths and weaknesses. The results of this study shows that the development of Blimbingsari beach tourism potential can still be developed further through existing potential. Blimbingsari beach managers should promote more so that Blimbingsari beach is known to many people. Keyword: Strategy Development, Potential, Beach, Tourism

Abstract

The gedogan woven fabric business is one of the businesses that can contribute to improving the community's economy as well as being supporting tourism product activities in East Lombok Regency. Women have the power to be more empowered in improving family welfare. This study aims to determine the role of women in the development of the gedogan weaving business in the Sentosa Sasak Tenun Group at Pringgasela Tourism Village, East Lombok Regency. In this study using qualitative and quantitative data types, while the data sources used are primary and secondary. Data collection techniques in this study using observation techniques, in-depth interviews and documentation. The informant determination technique used is purposive sampling technique. The data analysis technique used is qualitative descriptive data analysis. The results showed that the role of women in the Sentosa Sasak Tenun Group on productive roles was as weaving craftsmen, farmers, farm laborers, farm laborers, breeders, and home traders. The reproductive role of women weavers is managing the household. Meanwhile, the social role in the community, namely, as a member of the Muslimat related to religious events, cooperation activities between communities or traditional events which in Sasak is called gawe belek, and the health group namely Work Health Efforts. Of the three role models, the main role of women in the Sentosa Sasak Tenun Group is their reproductive role, because as a wife and mother, the nature of a woman is managing household affairs. Abstract

Waturaka Tourism Village is a community-based development. Waturaka tourism village has a wealth of natural resource assets and also a very massive culture. Therefore, managing elements of tourism products through the concept of “community based tourism” is ideal in an effort to provide economic benefits for local communities, nature and cultural conservation amid the rampant negative conventional mass tourism. This study aims to look at the components of tourism planning and community participation in it to produce philosophical implementation of community-based tourism.Technique used to collect the data in this research is observation, interview as well as literature study. Descriptive qualitative is used as the data analysis technique in this research. The results of this study indicate that, the management of the tourism product component in Waturaka tourism village was managed by community with a very high level of participation (citizen power) on one hand but not on the other. It is because the motive of local people's enthusiasm to develop community-based tourism in terms of awareness of global reality. Suggestions from this research are tourism awareness groups ( Kelompok sadar wisata) are expected to build networks with external parties in the context of the tourism village marketing, the government and non-government organization is expected to continue to empower local communities so as to produce massive competence in the tourism industry in order to provide maximum satisfaction to tourists. Abstract

This study focuses on studying the planning of Puri Sayan Ubud as a heritage tourist attraction in Sayan Village, which is also intended to realize one of the Village missions, namely to become a Tourism Village in order to improve the welfare of local communities. This study has a limited scope in identifying existing conditions of tourism in Puri Sayan and Puri Sayan planning as a heritage tourist attraction. The data collection techniques in this study are observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques used are qualitative descriptive and SWOT analysis that refers to tourism product components 4A. The results of this study are in the form of strategies and programs produced by SWOT analysis after identifying existing conditions that refer to tourism product components 4A. The results of this study is about the main planning of Puri Sayan Ubud as an Attraction of Heritage Tourism by designing various programs such as attraction and management that are designed based on the strategy of the result of SWOT analysis that has been done. Abstract

Tulungrejo is a village located in Batu, East Java. This village surrounded by mountains and most of its people working as a farmer. The most popular agricultural product of Batu is apple and Tulungrejo is a village with the largest farm in Batu. As a village with the largest farms it should make the farmers live prosperous, but the fact shows that the farmers in Batu are not so prosperous. Since 2010 the number of apple production has also declined, many farmers choose to plant orange than apple. Some farmers of Tulungrejo Village established an Agro Tourism called Top Apel Mandiri with the aim to improve the farmer's economy. The research aim is to see how much the involvement of farmers in agro-tourism management. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and literature. The informant for this research are the owner of Top Apel Mandiri, the farmers in Tulungrejo, and also the vendors as the key informants. The results of this research is the community are involved in the planning and controlling process through Top Apel Mandiri, although not entirely. The the type of participation is Spontaneous Participation . At the organizing and actuating processs, the community still participates with the type of participation is Induced Participation . Abstract

In the era of globalization, the tourism sector is one of the largest and most influential industries in economic development in general. In the 21st century, the tourism sector will be the primary driver in the world economy. In tourism, there are elements contained in it, ranging from tourists, travel, tourist destinations, industry, and so forth. Tourism for foreign exchange sources, including Indonesia, which is one of the countries that have various types of tourism, namely natural tourism, social tourism, and cultural tourism spread from Sabang to Merauke. One of the regions in Indonesia where multiple types of natural wealth have the potential to be developed is Sungai Penuh City, located in the western area in the form of a plateau. The most popular highland tourist destination in Sungai Penuh City is Bukit Khayangan. Departing from the above, the author intends to develop these problems and raise them into an article that illustrates and discusses supporting factors and inhibiting factors in the development of the Bukit Khayangan attraction, Sungai Penuh City. Then the development of attractions in Bukit Khayangan, Sungai Penuh City city, as well as the contribution of Bukit Kayangan Kota Sungai Penuh attraction.
