Perkembangan sektor pariwisata berawal dari dikenalnya suatu destinasi wisata termasuk aspek perencanaan, penataan, pengelolaan dan dampak yang ditimbulkannya sehingga menjadi kajian menarik para pemerhati pariwisata. Hasil dari kajian-kajian tersebut memerlukan media ilmiah untuk diketahui khalayak sebagai publikasi ilmiah, termasuk merupakan ”branded” yang menunjukkan kuantitas dan kualitas suatu perguruan tinggi. Melalui jurnal Destinasi Pariwisata, hasil penelitian, survei dan tulisan ilmiah populer kepariwisataan dipublikasikan sebagai salah satu upaya memberikan sumbangan dari dunia akademis kepada sektor pariwisata.

Abstract

This research aims to provide a description of prostitution and drugs in nightclubs in Seminyak. Honesty, thus research not to find out who is right or wrong, precisely to emphasize understanding the tourism phenomenon from a different side. The research paradigm is qualitative with ethnographic methods, field research and qualitative techniques. The results showed that sex workers and drug users in Seminyak were not simple problems. Related to the development of the tourism sector, on the one hand, the pursuit of economic growth and the welfare of the community. But on the other hand, it triggers a lot of intrigue and strategies of actors or agent to remain, survive or get stronger in tourism practices in nightclubs. The field research finding controlled abandonment concept have strength evidence that prostitution and drugs exist but are needed according to the agent's interests. Abstract

This study aims to determine the factors that cause a decrease in tourist visits and efforts made by the Ternate City Tourism Office in overcoming the decreasing intensity of tourist visits in Sulamadaha Beach Tourism Attractions. Ternate located in North Maluku Province. Ternate is one of 10 districts in North Maluku Province that have many tourist attractions, for example Sulamadaha Beach. Sulamadaha Beach is an attraction that is managed directly by the Ternate City Tourism Office and the local community, Sulamadaha Beach has beautiful underwater natural beauty, according to data from the Ternate City Tourism Office Sulamadaha Beach is the most popular destination for tourists, but this does not last long as it is known from the data of tourist visits that Sulamadaha Beach every year has decreased, related to this, it will be research about "The efforts of the City of Ternate Tourism Office in Overcoming the Decreasing Intensity of Tourist Visits in Sulamadaha Beach Attractions" The research method used in this study is the type of research is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The results of this study indicate that there are several factors that cause a decrease in the intensity of tourist visits in Sulamadaha Beach Tourism by using the concept of Sapta Charms, namely safe factors, orderly factors, and friendly factors, Ternate City Tourism Office has also designed several programs to stabilize the problem. Abstract

Toya devasya is tourist attraction located ini Kintamani subdistrict, Bangli regency. Domestic tourist and international tourist very interested with toya devasya, we should give an appreciation due to management, strategy and travel products, toya devasya felt very fast to built its identity, very interesting and give multiple impact to the local community. Toursm activities have very interesting that sustainability must be pursued. Secondary sources show that the management has made a good effort to manage and establish harmony with the local community. This situation must be pursued for the sustainability of tourism development Method of this research is literature study and the data are qualitative and quantitative, the data source is secondary data by using article tourism science, book and the internet source. The results obtained is the toursm activitiy has not had a positive impact to the local community and the management seem like they are not involved the community in making a decisions, policy maker, to get a benefit from toursm activities. Abstract

Magelang has so many tours, nice and very interesting to visit. Balai Ekonomi Desa which is often abbreviated as Balkondes, is a tour that is only found in Magelang. Several tours feature Balkondes, but the destinations carried are different from Balkondes. Balkondes is the embodiment of the village community in developing the economic potential of the village, while the number of Balkondes in Magelang Regency is around 20 Balkondes. One of them, Balkondes Ngadiharjo is one of Balkondes that is unique and still frequently visited by tourists often as tourists. The purpose of this research is provide an overview to identify tourism development strategy in Balkondes Ngadiharjo. The method of the study used descriptive qualitative, Strengths-Weaknesses-Opportunities-Threats (SWOT) and the survey was undertaken on 57 respondents. The results showed that alternative development strategies for Balkondes Ngadiharjo include optimization of promotions, internet access, suitable facilities gave the wide location, environment-based tourism, outdoor events and the tendency to travel in eco-based niche tourism, Borobudur Temple tourists to visit Balkondes Ngadiharjo, increasing creativity Balkondes Ngadiharjo's innovation and uniqueness to maintain competition for the number of visitors between Balkondes and other tours, increase management professionalism, playgrounds, public facilities and innovation and creativity to maintain competition between Balkondes and other tourist objects so that the level of tourist visits is high and can give a positive impression that is memorable for visitors and have an impact on the high profitability of tourist objects. Abstract

This research have a purpose for to know about the management system and condition of 4A (Atraction, Accesibility, Amenity and Anciliary) from the Tourist Attraction of Dream Island Beach. The qualitative Method with the data sources from primary data and secondary data used to collect data. The Primary data of this research is the data that was come from the observation and interview, while the secondary one come from documentary or literature study to complete the primary data. The technique to choose the informant that was being used is Purpose Sampling. The result of this research pointed that the management system of Dream Island Beach didn’t went smoothly, because the planning system not reach the maximum point. The organization system already went smoothly, and all of the staff already put on their position according to their responsibility over their task. The connection between manager and the staff already on good terms, and the condition of tourist attraction on this beach already in good terms with many attraction inside the beach. The accessibility on this tourist destination still need more improvements especially on Toilet whom inadequate. The Anciliary or the institution on the Dream Island beach already reach the average point. Keywords: Management, Dream Island Beach, Beach Tourism.

Abstract

Tukad Bindu at first was well-known as the dirty river and contained tons of household waste thrown away by society. Nevertheless, since 2018 it became one of recreation center in Denpasar City. Many activities carried out currently and the more crowded Tukad Bindu becomes, it is necessary to conduct a research which is expected to be able to perceive the characteristic and the meaning of recreation in Tukad Bindu to be a consideration for further development. The research method used is qualitative method with qualitative descriptive data analysis technique. The data resource of this research is from primary and secondary data. Data collection technique is conducted by observation, interview, questionnaire, and documentation. Sample determination is committed by accidental sampling using nonprobability sampling technique. Informant determination is committed by purposive sampling procedure.The result of this research indicates that progress level of Tukad Bindu is start on the development stage. The characteristics of Tukad Bindu visitors are perceived from socio-demographic characteristic, demographic characteristic, and psychographic characteristic turns out to be very diverse. The meaning of visitors’ recreation after having recreation in Tukad Bindy mostly are social meaning. Community should keep supporting activities committed by Tukad Bindu Foundation, particularly the youths there. It is expected that Tukad Bindu Foundation continues to hold regular annual events, such as Pekan Nusantara. Academics should synergize with each other in order to create an integrated recreation area among the fields of fishery, agriculture, and tourism. Abstract

Mount Pancar Nature Park (TWAGP) was located in Karang Tengah Village, Babakan Madang District, Bogor Regency. As a unity of sustainability, the TWAGP ecosystem must be able to provide benefits with various values. In the context of the valuation approach, of course, there are practical and normative dimensions for selecting ecosystem services. This study aimed to determine the factors that affect the number of visits to TWAGP and calculate the economic valuation of TWAGP based on the travel cost method (TCM). The method used was TCM. This method was calculated based on total consumer surplus, the coefficient of travel expenses, and total visits respondents. The analysis showed that four factors influence visit frequency, to TWAGP including, cost of travel, level of education, length of knowledge and distance travelled. The consumer surplus of individuals per visit was Rp209.000, and the total economic value was Rp8.535.978.000. The recommendation is a response to the willingness of visitors to pay an additional entry fee than what enforced needs to followed by improving the quality of tourist attractions so that visitors are satisfied and increasingly want to return to visit. Abstract

Tamansari Water Castle is a sub-tourist attraction located in the Keraton Yogyakarta complex, this tourist attraction is famous for its heritage buildings and also for its water palace. Since it was opened to tourists on April 1, 1974 many tourists visited this tourist attraction, both domestic and foreign tourists. Since the opening of this tourist attraction for the first time, which has not yet drawn retribution rates to tourists, there have been several times the rate of retribution increases to enter this tourist attraction. So there needs to be research on the feasibility of increasing the levy rate. In this regard, the author tries to examine the "Studi Kelayakan Peningkatan Tarif Retribusi di Daya Tarik Wisata Tamansari Water Castle". The research method used in this study is quantitative research with comparative matrix analysis techniques, to analyze the feasibility of increasing levy rates in the tourist attraction of Tamansari Water Castle. Sources of data from primary and secondary data, data collection techniques using observation, interviews and literature studies, and interview instruments in the form of interview guidelines. Determination of informants at Tamansari Water Castle in this study using purposive sampling technique, so as to obtain accurate data about the feasibility of increasing levy rates in the tourist attraction of Tamansari Water Castle. Abstract

This research is concerned to elaborate new potential tourist attraction in Desa Pemo Taman Nasional Kelimutu. Desa Pemo has special attraction that is authentic and unique related with nature and culture. The method used is qualitative with descriptive approach. The data collected through in depth interviews with Head of Desa Pemo, Representative of Taman Nasional Kelimutu management, community member, and tourist. The data analyzed using IFAS EFAS analysis and SWOT analysis. The result shows that Desa Pemo has a authentic and unique attraction from the beauty of nature, culture, and hospitable community. Desa Pemo is classified in Quadrant I which means needs to take advantage of external opportunities, overcome internal weaknesses and avoid external threats.
