Abstract

Financial fraud classification cases such as credit card fraud and bitcoin fraud have highly imbalanced data problems that the oversampling data of fraud class is necessary. Financial transactions could have different attributes. In a credit card transaction, the attributes could represent a nominal amount, transaction period information, the status of deposits or other types like withdrawals or refunds, and more detailed information. In the financial transaction of bitcoin, the attributes could represent the number of nodes, transaction fee, output volume, and aggregated figures. The various characteristics of attributes in financial fraud data require an adaptable oversampling method so that the classification model can perform well. An Ensemble Oversampling method is proposed as a general context approach to handling financial fraud classification in credit cards and bitcoin. The proposed method combines generative with traditional approaches such as GAN, SMOTE, and ADASYN. In the classification step, Deep Learning algorithms such as CNN and LSTM are applied to provide better performance. The genetic algorithm is used to optimize Deep Learning hyperparameters. The evaluation was carried out by comparing four scenarios, i.e., without oversampling, using oversampling with GAN, SMOTE, ADASYN, original data, and Ensemble Oversampling. The combined oversampling of GAN and SMOTE with the CNN classifier model produces the highest evaluation score of all scenarios with an average F1-Score value of 0.995 and Kappa Statistics of 0.990. It shows that augmented data quality does affect prediction performance, and Ensemble Oversampling technique could be considered to improve classifier performance in financial fraud data.

Abstract

GEEK STUDIO engaged in photography such as photo studios and rental shooting tools. Based on the results of an interview with the owner of GEEK STUDIO, there is a problem to develop a website profile system that cannot be used optimally because the existing website is still considered less than optimal in terms of user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) so it is less attractive and less comfortable to use. therefore, the researcher will analyze the website which according to the source is still the maximum turning using the UCD and UEQ methods. User-Centered Design (UCD) is one of several design methods where the method is focused on the needs and preferences of its users. UCD is a process that is carried out repeatedly where the design and evaluation are developed from the initial stage to the implementation periodically. Then the User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) is a method in the form of a questionnaire where the method serves to measure the viewing experience of users of a product. The most basic goal of UEQ is to quickly calculate its user experience through questionnaires. Based on research data that has been carried out by the author, a conclusion can be drawn where the results of the study have produced previous design benchmark values, namely attractiveness 1.11, perspicuity 1.16, efficiency 1.41, dependability 1.31, stimulation -0.76 and novelty -0.96 While in the design afterward, namely attractiveness 2.49, perspicuity 2.20, efficiency 2,26, dependability 2.00, stimulation 2.05 and novelty 2.18, Based on this, it can be seen the improvement of the chart from the benchmark which was originally from bad to above average to excellent overall.

Abstract

Not only the exchange of information between IoT devices but integration between IoT devices and cloud servers has also brought IoT to a higher level. Security is the main problem for IoT devices with limited resources for exchanging information. Digital envelopes are one method that uses encryption to secure data. However, limited resources on constrained devices necessitate selecting the proper encryption. This systematic literature review (SLR) was conducted on 11 of 43 studies that have used encryption algorithms for IoT devices. In addition to using the algorithm, it will also explain the device used and the safety factor. A suitable encryption algorithm for the digital envelope has been found. In addition, Some of the safety factors, IoT devices, and specifications are also shown.

Abstract

The development of chatbots is currently quite significant, considering the trend of interactive customer services 24/7. One advantage of using chatbots is reducing queues and customer waiting times. However, previous research stated that 87% of users prefer interaction with humans to solve complex problems. Therefore, this study introduced a hybrid human-contextual chatbot with sustainable model development using Recurrent Neural Network (RNN) and threshold optimization. The research proposes a cooperation framework between Artificial Intelligence (AI) and humans to optimize the workforce while maintaining the quality of the company's services. The system has a monitoring website and continuous model development to ensure the continued growth of the model. The system trial was conducted in XYZ company's IT management division in Indonesia for four weeks. The performance evaluation process uses accuracy, hand-off rate, average execution time, and average response time. Weekly performance evaluation results obtained accuracy and hand-off rate score increased, but average execution time and response time decreased every week. The decrease in execution and response time indicates a faster model performance. The highest accuracy and hand-off rate values were 0.99 and 0.98, respectively. Execution and response times get the lowest seconds at 0.39 seconds and 0.85 seconds, respectively.

Abstract

This paper designs a 15KVA three-phase distribution transformer incorporated with a three-phase smart meter for automatic monitoring against theft and vandalism. The monitoring system is designed to send short message services (SMS) to the power utility company when there are abnormalities in the transformer parameters [such as overload, temperature rise, load current, oil level, and voltage variation]. The monitoring unit consist of an embedded system which houses the Arduino Microcontroller, global system for mobile communication (GSM) modem SIM900 for sending SMS, load current sensors which determines the load connected to the transformer, and Bypass current sensors which checks for illegal connection to the transformer. The Arduino Microcontroller/embedded system is connected through a relay to the distribution transformer while the SIM900/GSM module is connected to the Microcontroller/embedded system, relay and optocoupler. The optocoupler isolates the high voltage side of the circuit from the low voltage side. The embedded module process, transmit and receive the parameters to/ from the GSM modem while the GSM module is the link between the embedded system and the public GSM network. The utility provider is expected to have a personal computer (PC)-based -server located at the utility control center basically to collect data from the transformer. This paper presents an alternative method of protecting transformer electrical installations using electronic means compared to the conventional cases of using patrol vehicles by the power utility service provider.
