Abstract

Abstrak.Pembelajaran matematika hendaknya dimulai dengan pengenalan masalah yang sesuai dengan situasi (contextual problem). Dengan mengajukan masalah kontekstual, peserta didik secara bertahap dibimbing untuk menguasai konsep matematika. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan ketuntasan hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas VIIIA SMP Negeri 1 Ambulu melalui penggunaan alat “ Pot Jur” tentang luas lingkaran . Penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilaksanakan selama dua siklus. Subyek penelitian adalah 37 siswa kelas VIII A SMP 1 Ambulu yang terdiri dari 7 laki-laki dan 30 perempuan. Tiap siklus dilaksanakan melalui tahap perencanaan tindakan, pelaksanaan tindakan, Observasi (pengamatan), dan refleksi serta evaluasi pada akhir siklus. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah metode observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan tes. Teknik analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisa deskriptif kualitatif. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas dengan 2 siklus. Hasil analisis menunjukkan adanya peningkatan aktivitas siswa pada saat pembelajaran dilaksanakan yaitu 81.12% pada siklus 1 dan 90.93% pada siklus 2. Sedangkan hasil belajar siswa dapat dikatakan tuntas dengan persentase ketuntasan 92.5 % pada siklus 1 dan siklus 2. Kata Kunci : “ Pot Jur”, Luas lingkaran dan model GI

Abstract

Abstract. The total edges labelling λ is called an edge irregular total k-labelling of a graph G if every two distinct edges u and v in G ωt(u)≠ωt(v). The total edge irregularity strength of G is the minimum positive integer k for which G has a total edge irregular k-labelling. There are not many graphs of which their total edge irregularity strengths are known. In this article, we investigate the total edge irregularity strength of Stair Graph tes(Stn) and union of m isomorphic Stair Graphs tes(mStn). Abstract

Abstract.This study was aimed to determine the air flow on the Suramadu bridge during extreme conditions. Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) is the science study of the flow fluida where air flow is one of them. The wind velocity data that will be examined in this study derived from the previous research. The other data, namely density, viscosity, gravity and pressure obtained from Wikipedia etc. The results of this study in the form of the mathematical model for air flow in the Suramadu bridge obtained using the vinite volume methods. The model was discretized by using upwind Quadratic Interpolation Convective Kinematics (QUICK) to obtain a matrix of size n x n that will be solved by using iterative cojugate gradient methods using MATLAB and Fluent programs. The resulth show that air velocity of Suramadu bridge is extreamly high. It dengerous for any vehicles through the bridge. Abstract

In this paper, we consider the total edge irregularity strength of Bermuda Triangle graph and the union isomorphic and non isomorphic Bermuda Triangle graph. We show that tes(〖Btr〗_(n,4) )= ⌈(30n+17)/3⌉, for n≥1, tes(〖sBtr〗_(n,4) )=⌈(s(30n+15)+ 2)/3⌉, for n≥1 and s≥2, and tes(〖Btr〗_(n,4)∪〖Btr〗_(m,4) )=⌈((30n+15)+ (30m+15)+ 2)/3⌉, for 1≤n≤m. Abstract

Abstract. The research aims to know the process and result of the development of mathematics learning materials based on Cooperative Learning of Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) type for surface wide and volume of cylinder and cone topic at ninth grade of junior high schooL. The purpose of Cooperative Learning of Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) type is to improve students ability in understanding mathematic problem solving. Learning materials development model refers to 4D Thiagarajan models which has 4 steps namely define, design, develop, and disseminate. This research has three products namely lesson plan, worksheet, and evaluation test. Based on validation process and tryout, the result shows that the coefficient of validity reachs 3 point, the percentages of teacher’s activities, students’ activities, and students’ responses are above 80%, it can be concluded that the learning instruments had fullfiled the validity, practice, and effective criteria. Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to describe the process of thinking student of mathematics education with high spatial intellegent in solving geometry problems based steps Polya problem solving. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The subject of this study is a second semester students of Mathematics Education IKIP PGRI MADIUN with a high degree of spatial intelligence. Data collection techniques were used that method of written test and interview-based tasks. Data analysis was conducted based on data written test and interview-based tasks. Furthermore, to obtain valid data triangulation method of writing data from and interviews. This research resulted in the description of the thought processes of students with a high level of spatial intelligence in solving geometry problems. In understanding the problem using the thought process of assimilation, in a problem-solving plan to use the thinking process is less than perfect assimilation and accommodation. In implementing the plan of solving students with high spatial intelligence using the thought process of assimilation. While in checking the breakdown of students with high spatial intelligence the process of assimilation and accommodation. Abstract

Abstract.The purpose of this research is to increase student’s activities and learning achievement score. The research implemented Learning Cycle 5E model with giving assignment and recitation methods. This research type is a Classroom Actions Research (CAR) of two cycles, there are two classes in each cycle. The topic in the research is a social arithmetic. The research methods are observation, test, interview, and documentation. The data analysis in this research are student’s activities, student’s achievement score and teacher’s activities. The research show that the student activities for spiritual attitude attaine 65,28% and for social attitude attaine 68,55% in the first cycles and the student activities for spiritual attitude attaine 95,14% and for social attitude attaine 78,25% in the second cycles. The teacher’s activities attaine 85,19% in the first cycles and 96,30% in the second cycles, and the achievement score attaine 55,56% in the first cycles and 80,56% in the second cycles. It can be concluded that the implementation of Learning Cycle 5E model with giving assignment and recitation methods is able to improve student’s activities and learning outcome.
