Abstract

Fact finding is a difficult task and need a long time. This process can be disrupted alsoby personal perception researchers. For information systems workers, fact-finding isone of the main tasks in performing the steps of analysis and design of informationsystems. Therefore, the discovery of the facts is a competence that need to be owned bya student who will be working at information systems environment. The learningmethod uses Problem Based Learning (PBL) is a learning method for understandingthe concept of Fact Finding uses Ishikawa diagrams and Pareto analysis. Studentstargeted has ability to level the synthesis of Fact Finding, which is able to apply indifferent cases, especially in information systems projects.

Abstract

Penggunaan Teknologi Informasi di Perpustakaan FMIPA Universitas Pakuan menjadisuatu keharusan dalam meningkatkan kinerja dan produktifitas.Informasi yang diolahharus bersifat efektif, efisien, rahasia, terintegrasi, tersedia, sesuai, dan dapatdiandalkan.Untuk menilai sejauh mana pengelolaan TI telah dilaksanakan dengannbaik, perlu dilakukan penyesuaian standar manajemen teknologi.Metode COBITadalah salah satu standar manajemen teknologi.Tahapan Metode COBIT yangdilakukan adalah tahap informasi, tahap perencanaan dan organisasi, tahap akuisisidan implementasi, tahap pengiriman dan dukungan, serta tahap pemantauan. Setelahitu, dengan menggunakan Metode COBIT ini akan diberikan penilaian melaluiwawancara dan kuesioner, sehingga dapat diketahui tingkat kematangannya (MaturityModel). Dengan demikian diketahui temuan-temuan, baik yang sudah baik, buruk,maupun yang masih perlu dikembangkan. Akhirnya diberikan rekomendasi untukmeningkatkan mutu perpustakaan FMIPA UNPAK.

Abstract

lokasi pameran menjadi salah satu titik keputusan terpenting. Dengan memiliki lokasipameran yang strategis, tujuan pelaksanaan pameran produk dapat tercapai.Penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk menentukan lokasi pelaksanaan pameranmenggunakan Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) Method, metode ini didasarkan padakriteria-kriteria tertentu, kriteria yang akan digunakan sebanyak enam kriteria danempat alternatif lokasi pameran. Berdasarkan perhitungan yang dilakukan secaramanual maupun dibuktikan dengan sistem yang dibangun dengan Borland Delphimendapatkan hasil yang sama. Namun, keputusan akhir tetaplah berada di tanganpengambil keputusan. Apakah mengikuti rekomendasi dari sistem ataukah memutuskanuntuk memilih alternatif lain.

Abstract

The rapid growth in the marketplace is highly influenced by the greatest developmentand use of the internet that can answering the needs of to up-to-date information aboutproducts and any other things while can be accessed everywhere and anywhere. This iscalled e-Marketing or marketing-based electronic. E-marketing become very importantfor the companies that sell its product online or its often called internet store. The studywas conducted to observe the correlation between level of customer trust on theInternet store and the willingness to buy the products through the internet store. Thestudied site is www.bhinneka.com. The research method using six variables: PerceivedSize, Perceived Reputation, Trust in Store, Attitude, Risk Perception and Willingness toBuy. The hypothesis was tested using correlation analysis and regression analysis. Thestudy concluded that level of customer trust on the internet stores have relationship andimpact on their willingness to buy through the internet store.

Abstract

Automated Text Summarization is a process that utilize an computer application toproduce summary from a document and have the same meaning form document. Theresearch purposed is to develop an application that produce single document summaryin Bahasa Indonesia dynamically. This application quote the majority core meaning ofdocument and display to user the summary. Implementing of Term Frequency-InverseDocument Frequency (TF-IDF) count weight and relation between text. Input andoutput document form a document in Bahasa Indonesia. Input document consist of title,heading and text while the output document is essense of the document. Thisexperimental result shows that accuracy is 61%.

Abstract

Virtualisasi merupakan upaya menyediakan unit komputasi secara maya dan dinamis.Mesin virtualisasi yang diakses melalui jaringan internet dikenal dengan istilah cloudcomputing. Tulisan ini mendeskripsikan hasil pengamatan kinerja server dedicated,server virtual pada mesin virtualisasi dan server virtual pada layanan cloud computingkomersial. Penelitian mencermati kinerja mail server dengan melihat waktu transferdata ketika pengguna login, mengirim dan membuka email dengan attachment dantanpa attachmentl. Penelitian juga mencermati kinerja web server dengan melihatkecepatan transfer data, waktu transfer dan jumlah error, yang diamati menggunakanweb stress tool. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kinerja server dedicated lebihbaik dibanding kinerja server virtual dan kinerja server virtual pada mesin virtualisasilebih baik dibanding kinerja server virtual pada layanan cloud computing.

Abstract

Climate is average condition for certain time period. The one of few factors influencethe climate is rainfall. This research develops a system which can predict and giveinformation of monthly rainfall prediction and also for the next few months.Climatology data from BMKG from 2000 to 2009 is need in this research. The dataconsist of seven variable which are temperature, sunlight condition, air pressure,humidity, wind speed, wind direction and evaporate. This research uses ExponentialSmoothing for rainfall prediction and K-Nearest Neighbor that need for rainfallprediction classified. The result shows that the prediction accuracy is 58, 33%.

Abstract

Signalling System of DTMF is coding in the form of tone converted into a binarynumber from the use of the combination of dual tone /frequency produced bypressing the tone of telephone. The use of dual tone is meant for the dialing that isnot interrupted by other frequency, with the frequency limitation that is used in therange of telephone operator. This coded system will be the inputted signal that canmove the motor in contolling the rotating of the camera. In this system, theperformance of DTMF signal sent by transmitted telephone tone is being inputtedto the IC MT8870 as the signal interpreting of DTMF, whereas every DTMFinputted signal has their own frequency range. Then, that signal will become theinput of IC decoder 74LS4514 which will interprete the voltage changing, afterthat, it is inputted to the IC microcontroller AT89C52 in the form of binary. Theoutput of this IC will activate driver that will move the relay of loads’ controller.From the measurement of DTMF output when being given interruption, thefrequency of pressed tone “2” is 1145 Hz, pressed tone “4” is 1135 Hz, pressedtone “6” is1477 Hz, and pressed tone “8” is 1059 Hz.

Abstract

The Storing methods which use paper, so far brings the Dinas Pekerjaan Umum ofKudus regency to the problems of determining the bridge destructions priority dueto the fact that unintegrated data, and there are no detail statistical information's.One of the methods that could integrate technical aspect of the location selectionsefficiently and accurately is AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process)Research uses statistical method by using AHP since it is able to simplify thecomplicated material. Therefore, the hierarchy method of decision making would beefficiently. In addition, it shows a comparison grade of each criteria to determinethe value, bridge detector designed by using AHP method used by DPU of Kudusregency to rank the bridge condition.

PT Shima Prima Utama operate with Job Shop System. Job Shop schedulingfor this company is a scheduling which use a lot of machines and a lot ofoperation with production type make to order. Today its campany has beenusing earliest due date (EDD). It makes completion time for all production(makespan) becomes longer. This is because there are a lot of number ofwork stations (machine) is idle. Base on that situation in this project try togive alternative scheduling method Genetic Algorithm for makespandecreasing. This algorithm is implemented in visual basic encoding byrepresent sequencing of job into the string and arrange it according geneticsimulations.
