Abstract

Abstract A complete idempotent semiring has a structure which is called a complete lattice. Because of the same structure as the complete lattice then inequality of the complete idempotent semiring can be solved a solution by using residuation theory. One of the inequality which is explained is  where matrices A,X,B with entries in the complete idempotent semiring S. Furthermore, introduced dual product , i.e. binary operation endowed in a complete idempotent semirings S and not included in the standard definition of complete idempotent semirings. A solution of inequality  can be solved by using residuation theory. Because of the guarantee that for each isotone mapping in complete lattice always has a fixed point, then is also exist in a complete idempotent semirings. This of the characteristics is used in order to obtain the greatest solution of inequality . Keywords: complete lattice, complete idempotent semiring, dual Kleene Star, dual product, residuation theory

Abstract

Abstract Electro-acoustic human heartbeat detector have been made with the main parts : (a) stetoscope (piece chest), (b) mic condenser, (c) transistor amplifier, and (d) cues analysis program with MATLAB. The frequency components that contained in heartbeat. cues have also been extracted with Short Time Fourier Transform (STFT) from 9 volunteers. The results of the analysis showed that heart rate appeared in every cue frequency spectrum with their harmony. The steps of the research were including detector instrument design, test and instrument repair, cues heartbeat recording with Sound Forge 10 program and stored in wav file ; cues breaking at the start and the end, and extraction/cues analysis using MATLAB. The MATLAB program included filter (bandpass filter with bandwidth between 0.01 – 110 Hz), cues breaking with hamming window and every part was calculated using Fourier Transform (STFT mechanism) and the result were shown in frequency spectrum graph. Keywords: frequency components extraction, heartbeat cues, Short Time Fourier Transform

Abstract

Abstract This research aims to prepare an adsorbent from Kelud volcanic ash for better Cu(II) adsorption efficiency than Kiesel gel 60G E'Merck. Adsorbent synthesis was done by dissolving 6 grams of volcanic ash activated 700oC 4 hours and washed with HCl 0.1 M into 200 ml of 3M sodium hydroxide with stirring and heating of 100 °C for 1 hour. The filtrate sodium silicate was then neutralized using sulfuric acid. The mixture was allowed to stand for 24 hours then filtered and washed with aquaDM, then dried and crushed. The procedure is repeated for nitric acid, acetic acid and formic acid with a contact time of 24 hours. The products were then characterized using FTIR and XRD, subsequently determined acidity, moisture content, and tested for its adsorption of the ion Cu (II) with AAS. The results showed that the type of acid that produced highest rendemen is AK-H2SO4-3M ie 36.93%, acidity of the adsorbent silica gel synthesized similar to Kiesel gel 60G E'Merck ie adsorbent AK-CH3COOH-3M and the water content of the silica gel adsorbent synthesized similar to Kiesel gel 60G E'Merck ie adsorbent AK-H2SO4-2 M. The character of the functional groups of silica gel synthesized all have similarities with Kiesel gel 60G E'Merck as a comparison. Qualitative analysis by XRD for all modified adsorbent showed a dominant peak of SiO2 except adsorbent AK-H2SO4 amorphous and chemical bonds with FTIR indicates that it has formed a bond of Si-O-Si and Si-OH. The optimum adsorption efficiency of the metal ions Cu(II) obtained from AK-H2SO4-5M adsorbent that is equal to 93.2617% and the optimum adsorption capacity of the Cu(II) metal ions was obtained from the adsorbent AK-CH3COOH-3M is equal to 2.4919 mg/ g. Keywords: adsorbents, silica gel, adsorption, kelud volcanic ash

Abstract

Abstract Gas sensor system is widely used for the detection of aroma. The main problem in this system is the sensor drift that makes poor reproducibility of the sensor. The reproducibility of the sensor can be improved by applying the feature selection of the sensor’s output response and baseline manipulation. This research focused on determining methods that can reduce the dift sensor of gas sensor by using  basaeline manipulation and selecting the optimal type of baseline manipulation when gas sensor system detects three different types of herbal drinks. The data that have been feature selected were then applied to three different types of baseline manipulation (differential, relative and fractional) and inserted into the pattern recognition system, Principal Component Analysis (PCA). From the analysis of PCA baseline manipulation that gives optimal results is differential one with the value of PC1 82.71%. This shows that differential baseline manipulation is effective in reducing the occurrence of sensor drift. Keywords: electronic nose, gas sensor, baseline manipulation, feature selection

Abstract

Abstract The Increasing need of storing large amounts of data presents a new challenge. One way to address this challenge is to use distributed data storage system. One of the strategies implemented in the distributed data storage system is using the technique of regenerating code. The code used in this technique is based on the algebraic structure of fields. Some studies have also been carried out to create code that is based on the other algebraic structure namely module. In this study, we attempted to assess the implementation of the code module at regenerating technique code. The study showed there is a potential properties code based on module that can be used in regenerating code technique. Keywords: Distributed storage, regenerating code technique, module code

Abstract

Abstract This paper presents a low-cost and disposable paper based microfluidic analysis system for point-of-care diagnostics. Detection is achieved by using a colorimetric or visual indicator. Immobilized specific reagent or enzymes designed for the parameter under consideration act as capture molecules on the surface of the detection zone. The sensor is integrated into a microfluidic system made of paper (cellulose). An additional component of the analysis system is a capillary unit which is used to introduce the analyte to the detection zone. For this purpose well- defined, millimeter-sized channel, comprising hydrophobic polymer bounded onto hydrophilic paper was created. Then the detection zone was coated with a sensitive reagent layer as a sensor region. The paper based microfluidics also called lab on paper, has been fabricated using screen printing technology as the basis for low-cost, disposable, portable and technically simple fabrication for mass production. Microfluidics in paper make it feasible to run single, dual or even multiple clinical analyses on one strip of paper while still using only small volumes of a single sample. The capability of lab on paper for detection of importance clinical analyte protein in urine, saliva and blood samples has been demonstrate successfully. Lab on paper as a diagnostic system is small, disposable, and easy to use and requires no external equipment, reagents, or power sources. This kind of diagnostic system is attractive for use in developing countries, in the field, or as a low-cost alternative to more-advanced technologies already used in clinical diagnostics. Keywords: Lab-on-a-paper, Point-of-care, Visual detection, Clinical diagnostic, Disposable sensor

Abstract

Abstract One of algebraic structure that involves a binary operation is a group that is defined  an un empty set (classical) with an associative binary operation, it has identity elements and each element has an inverse. In the structure of the group known as the term subgroup, normal subgroup, subgroup and factor group homomorphism and its properties. Classical algebraic structure is developed to algebraic structure fuzzy by the researchers as an example semi group fuzzy and fuzzy group after fuzzy sets is introduced by L. A. Zadeh at 1965. It is inspired of writing about semi group fuzzy and group of fuzzy, a research on the algebraic structure of the ring is held with reviewing ring fuzzy, ideal ring fuzzy, homomorphism ring fuzzy and quotient ring fuzzy with its properties. The results of this study are obtained fuzzy properties of the ring, ring ideal properties fuzzy, properties of fuzzy ring homomorphism and properties of fuzzy quotient ring by utilizing a subset of a subset level  and strong level  as well as image and pre-image homomorphism fuzzy ring.  Keywords: fuzzy ring, subset level, homomorphism fuzzy ring, fuzzy quotient ring
