Abstract

This study aims to find out the predicted results of Grover, Altman Z-Score, Springate and Zmijewski models in predicting financial distress and knowing the accurate model used in telecommunication companies in Indonesia. This study compares the financial distress prediction model by analyzing the accuracy of each model. The data used in this research is the annual financial report of the company which is published by Bursa Efek Indonesia period 2013 - 2016. The sampling technique is purposive sampling with total sample of 4 companies. The results of this study note that Grover model has an accuracy of 100% with an error rate of 0%, Altman Z-Score has an accuracy of 87,5% with a 12,5% error rate, Springate has an accuracy of 81,25% with a 18,75% error rate, while Zmijewski has an accuracy of 87,5% with an error rate of 12,5%. Of the four models of bankruptcy analysis used in this study can be concluded that the Grover model is an accurate model used to detect bankruptcy because it has the highest accuracy of 100% with an error rate of 0%.Keywords: financial distress, grover, altman z-score, springate, zmijewski

Abstract

This research aims to assess employee performance analysis using two alternative solution methods of analysis due to multicollinearity problem on on the linear regression analysis. This research review of sight analysis method in statistical. The data used in this study is the result of a survey employee performance at the Badan Pelayanan Perizinan Terpadu Office of Kabupaten Karanganyar in February 2014. Linear regression analysis of the results, it turns out there is a problem of multicollinearity. To that end, in this study provided two alternative solutions. The first solution is to pass a single independent variable i.e. job satisfaction variables. While the second solution is the path analysis that maintains all the variables are independent. Abstract

The object of this study is to determine the significance effect of perceived value on android smartphone buying decisions; Positive word of mouth influences on android smartphone buying decisions; Positive word of mouth influences on the moderation of perceived value to the android smartphone buying decisions. The population of this study was the Economics Faculty students, University Slamet Riyadi Surakarta using android smartphone, by employing 100 respondents using accidental sampling technique. The technique of collecting data used questionnaires instrument through the stages of testing of validity and reliability first. Test requirements regression used classical assumption. Data were analyzed using double linear regression analysis and absolute difference. The results showed that perceived value is not significant influence on android smartphone buying decisions made by students of the Economics Faculty, University of Slamet Riyadi Surakarta; Positive word of mouth significantly influences android smartphone buying decisions made by made by students of the Economics Faculty, University of Slamet Riyadi Surakarta. Positive word of mouth is not moderate the perceived value of the android smartphone buying decisions made by students of the Economics Faculty, University of Slamet Riyadi Surakarta. Abstract

This study aim to determine whether physical evidence, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy affect simultaneously and partially to the satisfaction of community at district office Laweyan Surakarta. The population in this study is the community of service users at the district office Laweyan Surakarta amounted to 66,484 people and took a sample of 100 respondents. Data analysis techniques used were instrument test, classical assumption test, and hypothesis test. Simultaneously the physical evidence, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy have positive and significant impact on the satisfaction of the community at the district office of Laweyan Surakarta. Partially, physical evidence doesn’t have significant influence on satisfaction of community at the Laweyan sub-district office in Surakarta, the reliability doesn’t have significant effect on satisfaction of community at the Laweyan sub-district office in Surakarta, the responsiveness has significant effect the community satisfaction at the Laweyan Surakarta sub-district office, has significant influence on satisfaction of community at the Laweyan sub-district office in Surakarta, empathy has significant effect on the satisfaction of community at Laweyan sub-district office in Surakarta. Abstract

This study aims to obtain a description of the intension of entrepreneurship students of the College of Economics S1 Program in Surakarta. In addition, to examine and analyze the role of creative mediation and proactive attitudes in the influence of emotional intelligence on the intention of entrepreneurship students of the College of Economics S1 Program in Surakarta. The sample in this research is 150 students, sampling using convenience sampling technique. Data quality testing is done by validity and reliability test. While the data analysis used in this study is the classical assumption test, multiple linear regression, and path analysis. Based on data analysis, the result is as follows: (1) proved that emotional intelligence has a positive and significant influence to intention of entrepreneurship, (2) proved that emotional intelligence has a positive and significant influence to creativity, (3) proved that emotional intelligence has a positive and significant influence to proactive attitude, (4) proved that creativity has a positive and significant influence to intention of entrepreneurship, (5) proved that proactive attitude has a positive and significant influence to intention of entrepreneurship, (6) proved that emotional intelligence has a positive and significant influence to intention of entrepreneurship with creativity as a mediator variable, (7) proved that emotional intelligence has a positive and significant influence to intention of entrepreneurship with a proactive attitude as a mediator variable. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the significance of the influence of professionalism, organizational culture, career development or organizational commitment partially or simultaneously to the Organization Citizenship Behavior at the District Office employees Gondangrejo Karanganyar. In conclusion, the results of the data analysis we concluded there was a significant effect of professionalism, organizational culture, career development and organizational commitment on Organizational Citizenship Behavior on District Office employees Gondangrejo Karanganyar. The results of the F test analysis we concluded there was a significant effect of independent variables namely professionalism, organizational culture, career development, and organizational commitment to the dependent variable is the Organizational Citizenship Behavior in the District Office employees Gondangrejo Karanganyar. Abstract

This study aims to determine effectiveness of the implementation of internal control system in provision credit in PD BKK Gondangrejo Karanganyar. The research method using qualitative research with descriptive analysis technique. Methods of data collection using questionnaires, documentation, observation, and interviews. Results of this research showed that credit provision system adopted by PD BKK Gondangrejo Karanganyar has been implemented in accordance with the provisions on the procedure of crediting starting from credit applications, investigation and credit analysis, approval of loan application, disbursement, until payment. Credit system supported by the implementation of an effective internal control system, which has met the five elements of the internal control system, namely the control environment, risk interpretation, control activities, information and communication, and monitoring. Conclusion, credit provision procedures and internal control system of credit provision adopted by PD BKK Karanganyar is clear and very good. However, PD BKK Gondangrejo Karanganyar should establish a special mechanism for identifying and tracking inconsistencies with customers or borrowers as well as other outside parties in terms of operational, financial and compliance with prevailing policies.Keywords: internal control system, lending

Abstract

Compensation, discipline to the work and work motivation are important factors in efforts to develop human resources in improving employee performance. This study aims to dig the influences of compensation, discipline to the work and work motivation of job performance. The data used in this study is primary data from questionaires. Respondents in this study were 45 persons who are employees of ABC store Karanganyar. The validity and reliability, linear regression, determination, and hypothesis tested by SPSS version 16.0 programme. The results showed from partially and simultaneous hypothesis testing, the variables of compensation, discipline to the work and work motivation effect on employee performance.Keywords: compensation, discipline to the work, work motivation, perfomance

The purpose of this study was to analyze the significance of the impact of service quality on positive word of mouth. Analyze the significance of the effect of quality of service and positive word of mouth to customer satisfaction. Abstract

This study was a survey done to BPU Rosalia Indah Karanganyar employee, aims to find out the effect of leadership, discipline, and organization comitment on the employee performance. The research sample comprised 122 employees. The sample taking technique used proportional clustered random sampling by proportional 30 percent each division. The data were collected trough direct observation and questioner. They were analyzed using the multiple regression technique. There is significant effect of the leadership on the BPU Rosalia Indah Karanganyar employee performance and the leadership giving most dominant effect on the employee performance; there is significant effect of the discipline on the BPU Rosalia Indah Karanganyar employee performance; and there is significant effect of the organization commitment on the BPU Rosalia Indah Karanganyar employee performance. The leadership, discipline and organization commitment rate variables give a contribution of 42,3 percent. Keywords: leadership, discipline, organization commitment, employee performance
