Abstract

Consulate General of Republic of Indonesia Kota Kinabalu as a representative of Indonesiaitself in Sabah, Malaysia has a important part in developing cooperation especially at bilateraltrade using soft diplomacy. The reason of using the soft diplomacy is because it gives aneffective result to fulfilled national interest of a country. The purpose of this research is to findout the implementation of Soft Diplomacy in trade relation Indonesia – Sabah, Malaysia. Theproblem of this research is how Soft Diplomacy from Consulate General of Republic ofIndonesia in trade relation between Indonesia – Sabah, Malaysia. The research result concludethat soft diplomacy that used by Consulate General of Republic of Indonesia Kota Kinabaluthrough 3 aspects cultural, foreign policy and social value implemented to fulfilled Indonesianational interest in bilateral cooperation especially in international trade between Sabah andIndonesia is going well but that doesn‟t show the direct result to make its because to makedecision of cooperation between these two sides provide a long term process. Abstract

Xiaomi is one of the products vendor smartphone from china was rising celebrity. The use ofsmartphone Xiaomi start much demanded by marked by the phenomenon smartphone otherbrands switch to smartphone brand Xiaomi likely caused by persuasive communication word ofmouth and perception users of that product. With the owned smartphone Xiaomi able to attractconsumers. This research aims to prove a positive influence products perception andcommunications activity of ‘word of mouth’ against the decision of the use of products amongstudents the regular science of communication sosial science faculty of Sebelas Maret universitysurakarta. The kind of research is eksplanatory research and sample totaled 79 people. Abstract

This thesis discusses about Vladimir Putin powers in the developing Russia federation development. Empire Russian Empire Kingdom led by the Tsar finally managed undermined through the Bolshevik Revolution leader Vladimir Lenin in 1991 IIych. Lenin then form a new country which he named the Soviet Union ( USSR ) . The dissatisfaction of the people will be a model of leadership that the Soviet Union no less authoritarian with the Tsar made the Soviet Union finally had to stop as a nation . Russian Federation was born as the successor state more democratic . Boris Yeltin who became the first president of Russia in the end failed to run his administration .Replaced by Vladimir Putin who then managed to overcome the complexity of the problems being experienced by Russia in the transition period. According from Miles and Huberman anlisist, which includes context evaluation , input evaluation , prosses evaluation and product evaluation. Data collection techniques used is to study literature by collecting data through books , journals , newspapers , and trusted sites on the internet. Freedom and openness is certainly a boon to expect many parties, especially in a climateof democracy characterized by freedom berkehandak, association, assembly and openness in a varietyof public information does not contradict the legislation.Sekaitan with it, freedom of information isexpected to be the spirit of democratizationthat offers freedom andresponsibility simultaneously. Freedom of information, on the one hand should encourage public accessto information widely. Without realizing there are many changes that occur in this country as fast growingglobalization. As we know, most tools and technologies today are in English. Seeing theseconditions, emerge many of English course in Indonesia and Solo in particular are competing tooffer services that aims to help people improve the competence and ability of their English skill.The purpose of this research is to describe and learn about the Marketing Communication atEnglish First Solo. In accordance with the theory presented by Phillip Kotler and Kevin LaneKeller that marketing communication is a social process in which individuals and groups obtainwhat they need and want by creating, offering, and freely exchanging products of value withother products. Data collection techniques in this research through interviews, observation andliterature data. Data analysis technique used in this research is data reduction, datapresentation, and conclusion. Abstract

This research was a descriptive-qualitative which try to describe the role of interpersonalcommunication which support the performance of employees in PT. Advantage SCM SurakartaBranch. By using the interactive analysis models belonging to the Sutopo (2006) , the resultsshowed that the interpersonal communications and diadik communications occurs in PT.Advantage SCM. The harmony of interpersonal communication and diadik communicationimpact on the result performance. Abstract

ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) is a deal that is agreed upon by the ten ASEANcountries in the field of economic cooperation. Such efforts to boost the economy in theSoutheast Asian region. President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono has signed a PresidentialInstruction No. 6 2014 followed by the issuance of Presidential Decree No. 37 2014 toimprove the competitiveness of the national one in the sector MSME / SME. The aim of thisstudy was to determine how to improve the competitiveness of MSME / SME Central Java inthe face of the AEC. The conclusion of the study increased competitiveness undertaken by thetwo parties, namely through the government's role in the field of capital, licensing,infrastructure, access to technology for MSME / SME, and dissemination of MEA and the roleof MSME / SME itself in improving the quality and quantity of the quality of goods as well asfrom human resources it is still not quite able to face the ASEAN Economic Community 2015.Key words: AEC, Improvement of Competitiveness, MSME / SME Central Java.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to find out the performance of KPU in Sukoharjo regency inorganizing legislative elections in year of 2014. This research use descriptive-qualitativemethod. The research of informant use purposive sampling. Then the data source use primaryand secondary data. The data collection technique use interview and documentation. In thisresearch also using interactive analysis technique. The results of this research are: (1) Inorganizing the legislative election in year of 2014, the performance of KPU of Sukoharjo wasgood enough. We could see that they did the all of the legislative election process in compliancewith the schedule, and also based of their vision and mission. (2) From the human resourceaspect, KPU of Sukoharjo regency has enough member and committee of organizing the electionwhich as Ad Hoc, they have 15.017 people of human resources. They also have the goodinfrastructure. (3) If from estimate aspect, the cost estimate that they got was from APBN. In itsexecution, KPU of Sukoharjo was efficient and effective enough. (4) KPU in collaboration withCounty Police (polres) and District Military Command (Kodim) until stage of KPPS together didthe distribution of the logistics. They used about 7 trucks to carry the logistics. (5) The conceptwhich was did of Sukoharjo’s KPU in increasing the people participation was by electronicmedia that was radio, then face to face communication with the people, until did the activity ormassal event. (6) The performance of KPU of Sukoharjo regency of their effort to increase thepolitic participation of the people in legislative elections in year of 2014 got a number ofpercentages as much as 75.42%.Key Words: Performance, KPU of Sukoharjo Regency, Legislative elections.

Abstract

This study aims to explain how the 2018 Asian Games can be an effective diplomacy strategy inIndonesia's international communications to the world community. International communicationin this research using diplomatic approach where the discussion concerning internationalrelations in communication science perspective. The study finds that the 2018 Asian Games apata Diplomacy Tool as a messaging symbol, a means of communication to improve or enhancereputation, other findings explain that sports can be a tool of symbolization in internationalcommunications to gain international recognition last Asian Games 2018 can be Aninternational communication tool to demonstrate attitudes toward behavior that are consideredopposed in the international system. Exercise can be a symbol in communication to convey aparticular message to the recipient, the effects of sports symbolization as an introduction to thiscommunication may vary. This research was motivated by the rampant criticism made by public on Breaking News TvOne programs, who has violated journalistic ethics, especially in the news Air AsiaQZ8501plane crash edition of30 December 2014 at 14:44 pm.. This research was to identifyand describe a violation of article journalistic ethics by Breaking news News TVOneprograms in the news Air Asia QZ8501plane crashedition of 30 December 2014 at 14:44pm. This study is a qualitative study that is interpretive, in doing research data such as videoand news documents analyzed later confirmed using journalistic ethics and P3 & SPS. Theresults concluded Breaking News TV One edition of 30 December 2014 at 14:44 pm hadviolated article 3 of the Code of Journalistic Ethics, Code of Conduct of Broadcasters Article9, Article 22 paragraph (3) and Article 25 letters a, b, c, and d.
