Abstract

Modern marketing is not just oriented in a way to develop a good product, and has appeal to invite public attention. In this study, researchers used the title "Marketing Communication Strategy In Effort Introducing TATV Chocomania Products". This study uses the theory Terance A and Don E. Schultz on marketing communications strategies. The method is performed by penilitian descriptive qualitative, which attempt to explain a problem or situation and activities as they are. Marketing Communications strategy used consists of several activities, namely by identifying target audiences to determine the target audience, specialization event and the event made activities preferred activities involving mass target audience. ................................. Abstract

The results showed a positive and significant relationship between activity promotion team with motivated students choose Communication Studies Program at the University of Slamet Riyadi Surakarta on a significant level of 5% or 95% confidence level and rejection limits n-2 (38) = 1.684. Where the results of system level Spearman correlation of 0.591, after being tested with a (t) test result is 4.515 greater than the value of his criticism is 1.684 or 4.515> 1.684, then the hypothesis "There is a correlation between activity promotion team with motivation choose a course of Communication Sciences at the University Students Slamet Riyadi Surakarta "unacceptable. Abstract

Joko Widodo, or more commonly known as Jokowi won the presidential elections of the Republic of Indonesia on 9 July 2014. Tempo magazine became one of the media coverage about this Jokowi. Research on the Tempo Magazine framing against Jokowi is intended to determine how the viewpoint Tempo in reporting Jokowi. The method used is content analysis of media texts that use the paradigm of constructionism with qualitative research methods. The object of the research is the issue of Tempo Magazine in January to July 2014. The data analysis technique used is framing analysis model Zhongdang Pan and Kosicki. The analysis showed Tempo has a frame that Jokowi deserves to be president because he is not the person who is born of the main circle of political parties.Keyword: mass media political campaigns

Abstract

Background of this dispute is the annexation of territory taken by the Malaysian in Camar Bulan region in 2011-2012. This is done by the Malaysian because based on the covenant in Kinabalu (1975) and in Semarang (1978) in which the Malaysian side to enter the territory Camar Bulan as Outstanding Boundary Problem (OBP) region of Sarawak, Malaysia. Of the dispute, a peaceful solution chosen by both parties. Peaceful settlement made by Indonesia through bilateral diplomacy. In bilateral diplomacy, the Indonesian government talks and negotiation of ministerial talks to the head of state-level negotiations. The problem of this research is how the bilateral diplomacy role in resolving disputes that occurred in the border areas of Indonesia and Malaysia, precisely in Camar Bulan, Sambas, West Kalimantan. Methods and research techniques used in this research is the method kualitatif and data collection techniques through the study of literature. Based on the framework and approach system is used, resulting in an image that is that the border dispute that occurred in Camar Bulan occur because of the actions of Malaysia who claim unilaterally on an area of 1,400 hectares belonging to Indonesia and bilateral diplomatic action as the action taken by the Indonesian government in resolving disputes tersebut.Dari frontier research results concluded that bilateral diplomacy Indonesia still has not managed to do this because there is found a bright spot in the settlement of disputes in Camar BulanKeywords: Camar Bulan, Border Dispute, Bilateral Diplomacy

Abstract

Sister city is the concept of acculturation two different city locations and political administration with the aim to establish the relationship of culture and social contract between residents. Yogyakarta city is one of the cities in Indonesia which Sister city activity is quite high. Yogyakarta City is a relatively active in Suriname Commewijne District. Sister city cooperation between the city of Yogyakarta and Commewijne District officially started with the signing of the MoU (Memorandum of Understanding) on 4 April 2011. The MoU Sister city of Yogyakarta and the Commewijne District agreed on cooperation in the fields of Culture, Tourism, Education, Agriculture, Health and Industry and Trade. Of all the areas of cooperation, the cultural sector is an area that stands out compared to other areas. This research using the theory of International Cooperation and the concept of Bilateral Relations and the research method used by researchers is the kind of qualitative research with data collection using data from interviews and literature. Researchers used primary data and secondary data.This Sister city Partnership lasted very active in the field of culture and a bridge towards improving bilateral relations. Realization of cooperation in the field of culture has been followed by the delivery of cultural delegations, both from the city of Yogyakarta to Commewijne District and viceversa. In this study the results show that cultural cooperation is to contribute in the improvement of bilateral relations and is able to promote the creative economy of Yogyakarta that having a Java character to the Republic of Suriname.Keyword: cooperation, culture, sisters city, district

Abstract

The purpose of this study is: To find out how the implementation of cross culture as local government strategy in running the cooperation of sister city relationships; and to examine the municipal government efforts to establish cooperative relations of sister cityMethods This was a qualitative descriptive study, the data used is qualitative data, that is data in the form of words, sentences, schematics and drawings. Location research in Surabaya City Government. While these types of data are: 1) Primary data, ie data obtained directly from interviews and direct observation to respondents in Surabaya city-government, 2) secondary data, ie data obtained from reference books or literature studies, documents, structure and other written sources.This study using multiple data collection techniques. Such techniques include: 1) observation, 2) Interview / Interview, and 3) Documentation. Research on cross culture activities in enhancing cooperation of sister city relationship indicates that keguatan cross culture is a form of soft diplomacy in improving the cooperation of sister city relationship. This is evidenced by the growing number of sister city cooperation list per year as well as an increase in various fields of cooperation with several countries that already woven.Keyword: sister city, relationships, government

Abstract

This thesis discusses about Vladimir Putin powers in the developing Russia federation development. Empire Russian Empire Kingdom led by the Tsar finally managed undermined through the Bolshevik Revolution leader Vladimir Lenin in 1991 IIych. Lenin then form a new country which he named the Soviet Union ( USSR ) . The dissatisfaction of the people will be a model of leadership that the Soviet Union no less authoritarian with the Tsar made the Soviet Union finally had to stop as a nation . Russian Federation was born as the successor state more democratic . Boris Yeltin who became the first president of Russia in the end failed to run his administration .Replaced by Vladimir Putin who then managed to overcome the complexity of the problems being experienced by Russia in the transition period. According from Miles and Huberman anlisist, which includes context evaluation , input evaluation , prosses evaluation and product evaluation. Data collection techniques used is to study literature by collecting data through books , journals , newspapers , and trusted sites on the internet. Abstract

The research with the title ―Foreign Politic of Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Terrorism in India‖. The minister Manmohan Singh is an actor of decision maker. Terrorism case of India is not conducted by Islamic fundamentalist group, but also Hindu fundamentalist. Mujahiddin Deccan and Mujahiddin India are Islamic-based terrorism, whereas saffron group is terrorists of Hindu fundamentalist. Terrorism cases of India caused anarchy condition both in India and South Asian regions. The terrorism occurring in India had impacts for the country itself such as a delayed achievement of national interest, threaten territorial intact and disturb domestic political condition.The research described how foreign politic of Manmohan Singh in handling terrorism. Author analyzed the problem by using international terrorism concept, theory of national interest, national security concept, regional security theory and foreign political theory. The research is a qualitative one and uses literature to obtain data. Conclusion of the research is Manmohan Singh performed his foreign politic by determining an internal policies, namely strengthen the country’s military, and external policy was bilateral and regional collaborations and military alliance.Key words: international terrorism, national interest, national security, regional security, foreign politic

Abstract

The evolution of Information Technology of the 21st century growing increasingly. Cyberspace has become into a new arena in the dynamics of International relations. The United States notice a ―Wake-up Call‖ when The hacking of military base in the Middle East in 2008 and NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory in China's Internet Protocol address in 2012. This research focuses about the effort of The United State’s National Security of Cyber War in 2009-2013 by President Obama. This efforts it’s to response cyber attack conducted by the State or cyber terrorism.This research’s objective was to understand cyber security of the United State by President Obama in 2009 to 2013 against the threats of cyber war to protect the national interest in this case about the power of cyber security. The concept of national security and cyber security were used for further discussion. This descriptive analytical research used secondary data sources while its data collecting technique was library research. Data analysis technique included data reduction, data display, conclusions and verification. Abstract

This research entitled "China's Foreign Policy" New Security Concept "In the China-Russia Relations In The President Hu Jintao". New Security Concept arise when the collapse of the Soviet Union that led to changes in the international political situation of bipolar becoming multipolar. China with New Security Concept trying to create security conditions in the region and make Russia a strategic partnership to meet its domestic needs, both in energy and military as well as counterbalance US hegemony in Central Asia and East Asia. This study aims to explain how the foreign policy of New Security Concept of China to the Chinese-Russian relations during President Hu Jintao. This research uses descriptive qualitative research method in which the author describes and outlines the relevant data for the study and then the data is reduced further presented and verified in order to obtain valid results related research. From these research it can be concluded that China continues to meet its national interests always forward peacefully and maintain security and stability in the region. China is also cooperating with Russia as one of the influential countries in the region to offset the hegemony of the United States so that China can stay focused on economic development in the country.Keywords: New Security Concept, Security, China-Russia relations, the US hegemony.
