Abstract

Order ideals play an important role in the study of abstract algebra, especially in the study of ordered groups. In this paper, we focus on the study of order ideals in lexicographic direct sums of totally ordered Abelian groups. We begin by examining the order ideals in the group of integers , and the group of real numbers  It is shown that there are no non-trivial order ideals in both groups. Abstract

Elliptic curve cryptography includes symmetric key cryptography systems that base their security on mathematical problems of elliptic curves. There are several ways that can be used to define the elliptic curve equation that depends on the infinite field used, one of which is the infinite field prima (  where ). Elliptic curve cryptography can be used for multiple protocol purposes, digital signatures, and encryption schemes. The purpose of this study is to determine the process of hiding encrypted messages using the Noiseless Steganography method  as well as the generation of private keys and public keys and the process of verifying the validity of the Elliptic Curves Cryptography Digital Signature Algorithm (ECDSA).  The result of this thesis is that a line graph is obtained that store or hides a message using the steganography method and a message authenticity from the process of key generation and verification of validity using the ECDSA method. By selecting three samples consisting of one test sample and two differentiating samples, a line graph,  an MD5 hash value, and a value at the point are obtained  different. Successively obtained values  to message “Matematika 2018”, “MATEMATIKA 2018”, and “2018 matematika” are and . The discussion in this thesis only covers the elliptic curves on prime finite field. So, for the next thesis, the next researcher can do a discussion about the elliptic curve on the finite field  or the application of elliptic curve cryptography and other steganographic methods

Abstract

In an increasing business competition, a company has to improve its competitiveness by focus more on supply chain management. One of the crucial problems in supply chain deals with the allocation of orders. More and more companies are starting to adoptMass Customization Logistics Service (MCLS) mode to determine the optimal allocations of order both from suppliers and to customized logistics services at the possible lowest cost. For this purpose, a third party is needed, namely Logistic Service Integrator (LSI) in providing logistics services. However, since LSI cannot meet all customer needs, LSI chooses to outsource logistics tasks to a Functional Logistics Service Provider (FLSP). This research was developed to help decision-makers ofmanufacturing companies in making optimal decision concerning order allocations that minimize the total supply chain costs involving Mass Customization Logistics Service (MCLS).

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to forecast the Human Development Index (HDI) using the moving average (MA) method, the simple exponential smoothing method and the naïve method. The region forecasted for its HDI is North Lombok Regency, for which it has the lowest HDI in West Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia. The data used for this research is the HDI from 2010 to 2022. The selection of these methods is due to the limited amount of data and the popularity of MA, SES, and Naïve method in the world of forecasting until this day. The results of this research is the MA method which consists of MA MA3, SMA MA5, WMA MA3, WMA MA5, EMA MA3, EMA MA5, and SES tested value α=0.1 and α=0.9 and Naïve method have a high degree of accuracy that can be seen in the Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) value which is below 10%. However, the chosen method is the best method with the smallest MAPE which is Naïve method with MAPE 1.32% where MAPE is below 10% indicating that the model used is Highly accurate and the result of North Lombok Regency HDI in 2023 is 65.7 which means that the HDI in North Lombok Regency has not changed. HDI in North Lombok Regency stay on middle level

Abstract

A total k-labeling is a function fe from the edge set to the set {1, 2, . . . , ke} and a function fv from the vertex set to the set {0, 2, 4, . . . , 2kv}, where k = max{ke, 2kv}. A distance irregular reflexive k-labeling of the graph G is the total k-labeling, if for every two different vertices u and u 0 of G, w(u) 6= w(u 0 ), where w(u) = Σui∈N(u)fv(ui) + Σuv∈E(G)fe(uv). The minimum k for graph G which has a distance irregular reflexive k-labelling is called distance reflexive strength of the graph G, denoted by Dref (G). In this paper, we determine the exact value of distance reflexive strength of some connected graphs, namely path, star, and friendship graph.

Abstract

The study aims to analyze the airflow in the trachea due to thyroid cancer. Thyroid cancer is a cancer that attacks the thyroid gland. The thyroid gland is located in the neck below the Adam's apple. In general, thyroid cancer causes stenosis of the trachea due to cancer compression of the tracheal wall. This problem is solved using the finite volume method with SIMPLE (Semi Implicit Method for Pressure Linked Equation) discretization. This method is well suited for the discretization of irregularly shaped fluid flows. The software used is Matlab and Ansys Fluent. Matlab is used to compute numerical solutions and display graphs, while Fluent is used to visualize the air flow. The result of this study is that the greater the percentage of stenosis, the velocity of the airflow is faster and the pressure of the airflow is lower. The most critical condition for respiratory power loss is when the airflow velocity exceeds the normal limit, i.e. when the narrowing is more than 50%, the initial velocity is more than 0,1 m/s.

Abstract

Research on graphs combined with groups is an interesting topic in the field of combinatoric algebra where graphs are used to represent a group. One type of graph representation of a group is a power graph. A power graph of the group G is defined as a graph whose vertex set is all elements of G and two distinct vertices a and b are adjacent if and only if  or  for a positive integer  and . In addition to mathematics, graph theory can be applied to various fields of science, one of which is chemistry, which is related to topological indices. In this study, the topological indexes will be discussed, namely the Zagreb index, the Wiener index, and the Gutman index of the power graph of the dihedral group  where  with  prime numbers and an  natural number. The method used in this research is a literature review. The results obtained from this study are the first Zagreb index, Wiener index, and Gutman index of the power graph of the dihedral group  where  where  is prime and an m natural number respectively is .

Abstract

Missing data may occur in various types of research. Regression and multiple imputation by chained equations (MICE) are two methods that can be used to estimate missing data in panel data types. This study aims to compare the accuracy of the missing panel data estimation using the regression and the MICE methods. The data used in this study are 161 random samples of senior high schools and vocational schools in DKI province for the year 2016-2020. Based on the results of the Chow test, Hausman test, and Lagrange Multiplier test on panel data regression, it shows that the appropriate model for the student-teacher ratio (X5) is random, the percentage of teachers who have an educator certificate (X6) is a fixed model with the specific effect of individual school and time, while the percentage of teachers who hold a bachelor degree (X7) is a fixed model with the specific effect of individual. Based on this model, the estimation of missing data is then carried out. The accuracy of the missing data estimation was carried out by comparing the MAPE, MAE, and RMSE values. The results show that the MICE method is quite good for estimating missing data at X5, quite feasible for estimating X6, and very good for estimating missing data at X7. In general, MICE is more accurate than panel data regression

Abstract

The high population growth of the Madiun Regency can cause population density that can have implications for other problems, both in terms of social, economic, welfare, security, land availability, availability of clean water, and food needs. This study aims to predict the population growth of Madiun Regency using the ARIMA method. The ARIMA (Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average) method is popular for forecasting time series data, which is reliable because the calculation process is done gradually. This study uses annual population data of Madiun Regency from 1983 to 2021 and produces an ARIMA forecasting model (0,2,1) with a MAPE value of 8.42%. The results of this study are expected to be used as information from the Madiun Regency government in anticipating the emergence of problems caused by the population level of Madiun Regency in the future.
