Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect on the price of the analysis room occupancy in hotels and inns in Pangkalpinang. Methods of data collection in this research is using secondary data regarding the price (room rate) and the occupancy rate of rooms (room occupancy) at 13 hotels and 7 hotels in Pangkalpinang. Methods of data analysis using simple regression analysis. The findings of this study are positive and significant effect on the price of the room occupancy. Meanwhile, based on the results of the analysis of the correlation coefficient and determination, influence the price of the room occupancy hotels in Pangkalpinang is very strong, of 74.8%, while the remaining 25.2% is influenced by other factors such as service quality, customer satisfaction, promotions and so were not examined in this study. Keywords: Price and Room Occupancy

Abstract

This research aimed to obtain construction procedures lampshade form through incorporation and election of parameters shape shifter Bezier surface. Thus, it product a sholid lampshade that both symmetrical and varied. In contruction lampshade it requires learning about the physical (expose) and geometrical aspects. In terms of geometry model-making of lampshade sitting which has existed in general still monotone and built of object cut model. Dealing with the problem, so this research is divided into four stages: Firstly, prepare the data of building sitting lampshade. Secondly, study about technique of building symmetrical sitting lampshade. Thirdly, construct overall lampshade. The results of this research is procedures by contruction of sitting lampshade: First, The main axis split into three sub segments axis non-homogeneous. Second, build parts of the sitting lampshade (the base, the main part, the roof) by combining the components lampshade deformation results geometry objects. Third, fill each sub-segment of non-homogeneous parts with parts of the lampshade and build a boundary curve resulting lampshade varied models, innovation, and symmetry.

Abstract

L-Systems memiliki fleksibilitas dalam mensimulasikan struktur dan proses pengembangan pertumbuhan tanaman secara visual dan realistik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memodelkan pertumbuhan tanaman jagung menggunakan L-Systems dan memvisualisasikan model pertumbuhan tanaman jagung tersebut dari kecil hingga dewasa dalam ruang dimensi tiga. Penelitian dilakukan dalam tiga tahap yang diawali dari identifikasi kebutuhan data tehadap pertumbuhan tanaman jagung (Zea Mays L.). Tahap kedua, membangun model secara manual yang meliputi identifikasi dan penentuan komponen L-Systems (huruf, aksioma, dan aturan produksi). Tahap ketiga, melakukan simulasi dan visualisasi model pertumbuhan tanaman jagung yang telah didapat menggunakan processing dengan bahasa java dalam ruang dimensi tiga. Ketiga tahapan tersebut menghasilkan model Stochastic L-Systems dari pertumbuhan tanaman jagung dalam ruang dimensi tiga. Visualisasi model tanaman jagung yang telah dihasilkan pada penelitian ini lebih menekankan pada penyempurnaan model yang dilakukan pada penelitian sebelumnya terutama pada pewarnaan, pembentukan batang, dan adanya tulang daun pada tanaman jagung setiap iterasinya. Model tanaman jagung divisualisasikan mulai dari kecil hingga dewasa (fase vegetatif) yang memiliki tulang daun dan kelengkungan daun berbeda dari daun bawah sampai pada daun atas. Tanaman jagung yang divisualisasikan hanya terbatas sampai 8 iterasi saja yang sudah mampu mewakili pertumbuhan tanaman jagung pada fase vegetatif

Abstract

Research carried out to obtain a Bezier curve of degree six resulting curvature of the curve is more varied and multifaceted. Stages in formulating applications Bezier surfaces revolution in design, there are three marble objects. First, calculate the parametric representation revolution Bezier surface and shape modification in a number of different forms. Second, formulate Bezier parametric surfaces that are continuously incorporated. Lastly, apply the formula to the design objects using computer simulation. Results marble obtained are Bezier curves of degree six modified version of the Bezier curve of degree five and some form of revolution Bezier surfaces are varied and multifaceted.

Abstract

This research was conducted to gain some patterns of fractals Julia set and Seirpinski that applied on Batik then creating Batik that has many varied motives and multifaceted. There are three steps in formulating the patterns of fractals of Julia set and Seirpinski. First, build the fractals by analyzing the function of fractals Julia set and determine the plane’s coordinate which you want to use. In this case, we use square and rectangle which will be created by using fractals patterns Seirpinski. Second, create a batik motives from fractals pattern Julia set and Seirpinski by using geometry transformation. The geometry transformation which will be used are translation, dilatation, reflection, and rotation. The last, combine some batik motives which were created by using image processing. It was summation of two images processing. The result is batik motives that has many variated and multifaceted.

Abstract

Biodiesel adalah salah satu bahan bakar alternatif yang ramah lingkungan, tidak mempunyai efek terhadap kesehatan yang dapat dipakai sebagai bahan bakar kendaraan bermotor yang dapat menurunkan emisi bila dibandingkan dengan minyak diesel. Biji alpukat terdiri dari 65% daging buah (mesokarp), 20% biji (endocarp), dan 15% kulit buah (perikarp). Biji alpukat mengandung 15-20 % minyak. Biji alpukat mengandung minyak yang hampir sama dengan kedelai sehingga biji alpukat dapat dijadikan sebagai sumber minyak nabati. Tujuan didirikan pabrik biodiesel untuk mengetahui kelayakan untuk didirikannya rancangan bangun pabrik biodesel. Kapasitas produksi yang dihitung berdasarkan pada data produksi biji alpukat tahun 2010-2013 dan perkiraan produksi tahun 2019 adalah 112.810 ton/tahun dengan menggunakan alat utama Mixer dengan proses tranesterikfikasi. Lokasi bangun pabrik direncanakan di wilayah Lumajang Jawa Timur, Selain di pasarkan sendiri, juga akan bekerja sama dengan PT. Pertamina. Berdasarkan analisa ekonomi pra rancang bangun pabrik biodesel diketahui Total Capital Investment (TCI): Rp. 13.406.244.594,- Return Of Investment (ROI) sebelum dan sesudah pajak 90,8% dan 81,80%, Pay Out Time (POT) 1,2 tahun; Break Even Point (BEP): 36,1%; Tingkat Pengembalian Internal (IRR): 18,3 % Kata-kata kunci : biodesel, biji alpukat, mixer ABSTRACT Biodiesel is one of the most environmentally friendly alternative fuels, has no health effects that can be used as motor vehicle fuels that can reduce emissions when compared to diesel oil. Avocado seeds consist of 65% meat flesh (mesocarp), 20% seed (endocarp), and 15% fruit peel (pericarp). Avocado seeds contain 15-20% oil. Avocado seeds contain almost the same oil as soybeans so that avocado seeds can be used as a source of vegetable oil. The objective of the biodiesel plant is established to determine the feasibility of establishing a biodesel plant construction plan. Production capacity calculated based on avocado seed production data in 2010-2013 and 2019 production forecast is 112.810 ton / year using Mixer main tool with tranestericfication process. The location of factory building is planned in East Java Lumajang area, In addition to its own market, will also cooperate with PT. Pertamina. Abstract

The creative industries have become the government's attention for contributing to economic accretion. But due to the lack of artistic creativity and appeal, the evolution of the creative industries' craft section is not optimal. So that it was needed a variation of relief items to increase attractiveness. In general, an industrial object's design is still limited to the space geometry objects or a Bezier curve of degree two. Therefore, Bezier curves of degree are selected and modified it into a quartic Bezier forms and then applied to the design of industrial objects (glassware). The purpose of this research is to determine the formula of the quartic Bezier form of cubic Bezier modifications and to determine the rotary surface shape of quartic Bezier from cubic Bezier modifications. Then, from some form of the revolving surface of modified cubic Bezier, the glassware designs are generated. The results of this research are, first, the formula of the quartic Bezier result of Bezier cubic modifications. Second, the form of the revolving surface of modified cubic Bezier which is influenced by five control points P0, NP31, NP32, NP33, P3, and parameter lambda. Abstract

ABSTRAKPendapatan pengusaha UMKM (Usaha Mikro Kecil Menengah) tahu bakso “Enak” dan UMKM ketan lupis mengalami penurunan pendapatan sejak pandemi covid-19. Selain itu kendala lain yang dihadapi yaitu belum adanya pemanfaatan media sosial dalam strategi pemasaran di tengah dunia digitalisasi, packaging produk yang masih sederhana sehingga kurang menarik konsumen, dan tidak adanya manajemen keuangan yang baik disaat banyaknya pendapatan dan pengeluaran produk. Dari permasalahan mitra tersebut UMY melalui program pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang disinergikan melalui Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) memiliki beberapa program kegiatan untuk mengatasi permaslahan mitra. Program ini ditujukan untuk meningkatkan kualitas penjualan serta pemasaran tahu bakso “Enak” dan ketan lupis di tengah pandemi covid-19. Kedua UMKM telah diberikan sosialisasi serta pelatihan menggunakan media sosial di era digitalisasi dan untuk membantu pemilik UMKM dalam mengatasi penurunan penjualan di masa pandemi Covid-19. Tim pengabdi telah membuatkan akun media sosial, dan juga telah membuatkan logo dan pamflet yang nantinya akan disebarkan melalui media sosial agar dapat meningkatkan hasil penjualan. Serta menciptakan packaging product yang menarik sehingga menambahkan daya tarik konsumen.  Kata kunci: UMKM ; manajemen keuangan ; media sosial ; manajemen pemasaran ABSTRACTEntrepreneurs of "tahu bakso" and "ketan lupis " as Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (“UMKM”) face obstacles, especially in the era of the covid-19 pandemic. First, they package the product in a simple way so that it does not attract the attention of consumers. Second, they have not used social media as a marketing strategy in the current digital age. Third, they do not have good financial management. As a result, their income is small and even tends to decline. The UMY Community Service Team together with KKN students have implemented programs and activities to help these small entrepreneurs. The team has trained the entrepreneur on how to package the product in an innovative way. This team has also socialized the use of social media to market products creatively. Lastly, this team has helped with how to manage finances properly. Abstract

Plant morphology modeling can be done mathematically which includes roots, stems, leaves, to flower. Modeling of plant stems using the Lindenmayer System (L-system) method is a writing returns that are repeated to form a visualization of an object. Deterministic L-system method is carried out by predicting the possible shape of a plant stem using its iterative writing rules based on the original object photo. The purpose of this study is to find a model of the plant stem with Deterministic Lindenmayer System method which will later be divided into two dimensional space three. The research was conducted by identifying objects in the form of pine tree trunks measured by the angle, thickness, and length of the stem. Then a deterministic and parametric model is built with L-system components . The stage is continued by visualizing the model in two dimensions and three dimensions. The result of this research is a visualization of a plant stem model that is close to the original. Addition color, thickness of the stem, as well as the parametric writing is done to get the results resembles the original. The iteration is limited to less than 20 iterations so that the simulation runs optimal.

Abstract

Population poverty is one of the serious problems in Indonesia. The percentage of population poverty used as a means for a statistical instrument to be guidelines to create standard policies and evaluations to reduce poverty. The aims of the research are to determine model population poverty using MARS and Bagging MARS then to understand the most influence variable population poverty of Central Java Province in 2018. The result of this research is the Bagging MARS model showed better accuracy than the MARS model. Since, GCV value in the Bagging MARS model is 0,009798721 and GCV value in the MARS model is 6,985571. The most influential variable poverty population of Central Java Province in 2018 in the MARS model is the percentage of the old school expectation rate (X9). Then, the most influential variable in the Bagging MARS model is the number of diarrhea (X1).
