Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of entrepreneurship characteristics, gender roles, parents’occupations, and academic support for student entrepreneurial intentions. This study is quantitative studyaimed to test the effect of all variables simultaneously and partially. The research used purposive sampling ofUIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim students from six faculties which consist of FITK, Faculty of Shariah, Faculty ofHumanities, Faculty of Economics, Faculty of Psychology and Faculty of Science and Technology with 250respondents. The results of this study showed that the characteristics of entrepreneurship, gender roles, theparents’ occupations, and academic support simultaneous effect on student intentions in entrepreneurship.There are two variables that partial effect on the variable of intentions student entrepreneurship characteristicsand role of gender. The other two variables which are the parents’ occupation and academic support are notpartial effect on student interest in entrepreneurship. Characteristics of entrepreneurship has a dominantinfluence on the intentions of the student entrepreneurship

Abstract

Abstract: Every organization must have a culture that guides the organization. Someone will work seriously ifin a comfortable atmosphere and working environment. The purpose of this study was to find out how big inthe organizational culture directly or indirectly that influenced the Nurses Ihsan Behavior at GondanglegiIslamic Hospital of Malang. Type of research used a quantitative research model with descriptive or surveyapproach that aimed at testing the predefined hypothesis. The object of this study was conducted atGondanglegi Islamic Hospital of Malang. The sample used 72 respondents with non-probability samplingtechnique. The result indicated that the organizational Culture had direct and significant effect to NursesIhsan Behavior. The Organizational Culture had significant effect to Ihsan Behavior through Personal Values.It meant that if in the organizational culture and personal values increase, then the Nurses Ihsan Behavior willalso increase variable.

Abstract

The problem of this research is the development of pawning institution. It seems slowly developedand hardly to complete with other pawning institutions. Therefore, some factors causing this problem need tobe understood. Against this problem, the author feels necessary to examine some factors with important effecton Syariah pawning, such as differentiation, organizational culture, and innovation. Research type is explanatoryresearch, in which it explains the causal relationship between research variables through hypothesis testing.Population of research is manager with authority of strategic decision making in the syariah pawning institutionin Malang City. Sample is taken by census technique. Furthermore the data will be subjected to MultipleRegression Analysis. Result of research indicates that Differentiation, Organizational Culture, and Innovationinfluence sustainable competitive advantage. It may be concluded that higher level of Differentiation,Organizational Culture, and Innovation in the pawning institution can produce higher sustainable competitiveadvantage for pawning institutions in Malang.

Abstract

Abstract: Measuring the performance of sharia banking by using conventional measurement has not beenable to show the assessment of Islamic banking performance in accordance with the purpose of sharia. Thereare differences in sharia banking with conventional banking, so it needs performance measurement from otherside that is devoted to sharia banking. This research aimed at analyzing and comparing the performance ofIslamic banking in Indonesia and Malaysia by using Maqashid Syariah Index (MSI) approach. This researchobject of 11 Sharia Commercial Banks in Indonesia and 15 Sharia Commercial Banks in Malaysia that havebeen operating during 2011-2015. Sources of research data used annual reports of each bank. The steps tomeasure bank performance with Maqashid Syariah Index (MSI) is ratio performance assessment, assessmentof performance indicators and last assessment of the Maqashid Syariah Index (MSI). The results showed thatthere were differences in performance based on the value of Maqasid Syariah Index (MSI) between Indonesianand Malaysian sharia banks in 2011-2015. Sharia banking performance in Indonesia was better in achievingmaqashid sharia than sharia banking in Malaysia. The highest rating of Islamic banking in Indonesia wasPanin Syariah Bank (BPS) and Islamic banking in Malaysia was HSBC Amanah Malaysia Berhad (HSBC)

Abstract

Abstract: The increasingly tight competition especially in the field of service in hospital business where everyone is tying for maintain their existence within the scope of the organization. The focus of this research was to analyze the direct and indirect influence of job satisfaction on employee performance, and the role of OCB as the mediator of job satisfaction on the performance of RSI Aisyiyah Malang employees. The approach used in this research was quantitative approach.The sample collection technique used was simple random sampling. The sample in this study amounted to 61 employees of RSI Aisyiyah Malang nurses. Data collection was using questionnaires, while data analysis was done by using path analysis. The results showed that 1) there was a direct effect of job satisfaction on employee performance of RSI Aisyiyah Malang nurses. This meant that the performance of RSI Aisyiyah nurses was better if job satisfaction felt by the nurses was better too. 2) there was indirect effect of job satisfaction on employee performance of RSI Aisyiyah Malang. 3) OCB mediated the influence of job satisfaction on employee performance of RSI Aisyiyah Malang.   Keywords: Job Satisfaction, Employee Performance, and Organizational Citizenship Behavior

Abstract

The important role of waqf as a source of funds and low Muslim’s awareness on cash waqf collectionversus it potential cash waqf in Indonesia push this study. This study aims to determine the level ofunderstanding of the Muslim societies in Surabaya on cash waqf and the factors that influence it, eitherinternal or external factors. Descriptive statistics, Z test, and multiple regression analysis are used for primarydata collected by distributing questionnaires to the Muslim societies in Surabaya. The results show that themost Muslim do not understand cash waqf. The level of understanding is influenced by by internal andexternal factors. The internal factor is knowledge of religion and the external factor is access to informationmedia. To improve understanding of the Muslim societies about cash waqf needs to increase religiousknowledge and access to information media, either print or electronic media.

Abstract

Hedging is one alternative risk management to protect the assets of the company resulting from theforeign exchange risk. Hedging by using derivative instrumentis common ways that is used by the company.This study aimed to determine the effect of leverage, and liquidity of financial distress, both simultaneouslyand partially to the company’s decision to do hedging. The population in this study was a company in JakartaIslamic Index on the observation period of 2011-2015. The sampling technique used in this research waspurposive sampling method in order to obtain a sample of seven companies. The techniques in this studyused multiple regression analysis software of SPSS version 16. The results of this study that of the fourvariables used, there was one variable that affected the company to be used as a hedging decision making.Variable that affected the hedging activities was the current ratio, because if the value of the current ratio washigh then indicated that the liquid assets that was managed by the company was also high, so it needed toimplement a policy of hedging, quick ratio was getting the negative and significant, which meant that if thevalue of the variable quick ratio was low, then the company pushed for hedging, debt to equity ratio had nosignificant effect on hedging, this was because the company was using the rupiah currency to do debt,financial distress had no significant because the company was not experiencing the financial difficulties.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to analyze the role of mosque institution as the center of socio-economic empowerment of the community. The study was conducted at Sabilillah Mosque which is a large national pilot mosque. The approach used is case study. The results of social empowerment research are, improving the quality of education, family assistance, business training, health services, network strengthening with mushollah. While economic empowerment among others economic empowerment through mosque cooperative, economic empowerment dhuafa through business capital and provision of production facilities, economic empowerment through provision of market pujasera. To generate other funding sources as a means to empower the community, Sabilillah Mosque organizes auditorium, cash receipts, and minimarket management cooperation.

Abstract

This research aims to know the effect of formal education and training toward the performance ofAmil Zakat in Kendari. The data collecting method used questionnare. The Sample consisted of 44 respondents.Based on the result of statistic analyst test found that there were an effect of the formal education and trainingtoward the performance of Amil Zakat in Kendari while the simultaneous test result used Ftest 92,892 and Fsig0,000  = 0,05. In other words, Formal Education (X1) which are religion education and general education,and Training (X2) which the material are execution time, and tutor, simultaneously have significant effecttoward the performance of Amil Zakat (Y) on trusty level 95%.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to know the influence of financial factors on employee performance at the sekretariatDPRD Kabupaten Bone Bolango. The methods used in this research is quantitative. The population of thisresearch is all employees of sekretariat DPRD Kabupaten Bone Bolango which need 25 sampling technique byusing simple random sampling. Data completion method used in this research is through questionnairedistribution to employees who become sample. The results of this study stated that the financial factorpositive and significant effect to employee performace at the sekretariat DPRD Kabupaten Bone Bolango.
