Abstract

Abstract- Human resources were the most important elements to determine whether the company strategy was successful or not. How well the system was built, the aspect of human beings in the company needed to get special attention so that it didn’t cause chaos for the company. Management Control System could help companies to develope and manage the action of employees so that the purpose of the company could be achieved. In this research,the researcher investigated the Management Control System which had been implemented by PT. Tirto Agung Abadi Motor. This study was aimed to examine the control system and the support factors, in order to increase staff marketing motivation company. This research would be conducted with a qualitative approach in the applied method research. The company was known having marketing with low motivation, it was caused by the existence of Management Control System in the company that couldn’t give enough motivation on itsemployees.In addition, this thesis was aimed to give recommendations about kind of Management Control System that could be used to increase the marketing motivation with training-based employees so that it could fulfill the target in order to achieve the aim of the company itself,either by changing, adding, or removing company regulations that had been determined before.

Abstract

Banks have an important role in the economy of a country so that banks become one of investment opportunity that is quite promising for investors. It is underlying this research on the influence of CAEL ratio to stock return of banks in Indonesia. CAEL ratio is a financial ratios that can describe financial soundness of banks. This research is a quantitative research. This study aims to test the positive relationship between CAR and LDR as well as negative relationship between BOPO and NPL on stock return of banks. Test of CAEL ratio using secondary data which obtained from Capital Market Reference Center and Indonesia Stock Exchange which accessed through www.idx.co.id. The testing technique is carried out with a combined period (2011-2016) as well as a partial period every year. From this research, the majority results obtained that there is no relationship between CAEL ratio to stock returns of banks in the combined or partial period (2011-2016).

Abstract

Abstract- This study analyzes the acculturation of Javanese and Sundanese culture because there is rarely any research on the acculturation of these two cultures and their influence on the application of Management Control System. The company that became the object of research is in Cibadak which majority of the workers are Sundanese. However, the production manager who organizes these workers is Javanese. This research is included in explanatory research which aims to give an analysis of how the acculturation of Javanese culture and Sundanese culture towards the application of MSS in the production process of PT. X. The Influence of Java and Sundanese Culture in Application of SPM on Production Process of PT. X such as the process of recruiting labor based on subjective assessment of production manager, no formal training for the workers, establishing close relationships with the workers, giving vision and mission orally, giving individual rewards through absenteeism, no routine employee shifting, production manager Participate in the operational activities of production, and the value of gotong royong in production activities.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe how the implementation of the right tax planning to tax savings, especially in this research are discussed regarding Income Tax (PPh) Agency. During this time there were already efforts made by PT “MKJ” to do tax planning but not optimal due to the limitations of his knowledge of tax planning. In the application of the tax planning should be analyzed first what kind of taxation issues facing the company in order for the implementation in the application of the tax planning goes well. This study is included within a qualitative study which is an applied research, which will provide solutions regarding the proper application of tax planning so that can help PT “MKJ” to minimize the taxes that must be paid. In this study uses data from the PT “MKJ”. In optimizing the implementation of tax planning, there is a strategy that can be done by PT "MKJ". The strategy is to maximize the deductible costs by creating a nominative list of entertainment expenses, promotional costs, and transportation expenses, the use of gross up method for employee health costs, donation expenses of no more than 5% of net profit referring to Ministerial Regulation Finance, and other strategies. This tax planning can result in savings on the tax burden of PT "MKJ" of IDR 15.130.694. With this tax savings is expected to be useful in the future for PT "MKJ".

Abstract

Abstract – This study aims to be aware of the risk of anything contained in the company and how the risk assessment is included into low risk, medium risk, or high risk. Thus it can assist management in making appropriate risk management actions to reduce the likelihood of risks and negative impact of the existing risks. This research uses qualitative approach that is explanatory research by using interview method, observation, and document analysis. The results obtained are 2 risk that the author included into low risk, 2 risk included into medium risk and 2 risk included into high risk, where all of the risks that need to be managed by using the concept of Risk Management so it can reduce the loss of the freight activities and support the goals of the business.

Abstract

Abstract- This fieldwork research study aims to describe the experience when working especially in the real estate sector. In the discussion based on documentation of the process while working in this sector, especially in the staff of apprenticeship finance and accounting. The main focus of workmanship in a variety of tasks of commission realization. This research uses real experience in field work in a company. This study uses a sample of one of the real estate companies in Surabaya. This research was conducted in three months of field work commencing on 2 August 2017. After the fieldwork process has been completed, reporting started for two months of work. The research findings shows the flow of accounting information system in commission. This is related to cross-division at once, but the main focus remains on the financial and accounting division.

Abstract

This study is applied research with the purpose of explanatory reasearh to solve the problems that occurred in MM Hotel, Riau which will produce recommendations in the form of solving and solving the problem by using interpretive-qualitatvie research paradigma. This research is an opportunity to put the spirituality in MM Hotel and surrounding area. In Indonesia, especially in remote parts of Riau, the concept of spirituality-based management control system is not known by many people. By implementing a spirituality based management control system, it is expected to reduce the suffering around us and create a better world for all beings and a harmonious and loving world.

Abstract

Accounting information system becomes an important role for a business entity both profit business entity and non profit business entity. In fact, in the operational activities of the University Surabaya’s Library on Tenggilis, the existing information systems are still not working optimally and causing various problems. The findings of researchers are relate to differences in the status of books, length ofbook search on the shelf, as well as the number of queues that are sometimes long at certain hours also vandalism. For that, we need an analysis and system design that can help solve existing problems. This study aims to determine how the system design, especially on service cycle based on IoT in improving the quality of service at the Ubaya’s Library on Tenggilis. This recommendation used System Development Life Cycle from system analysis stage to physical design stage which is limited to relationship database creation. Researchers recommend NFC-tags, smart shelf library systems, smart libraries, AppIT, hand-held readers, SMS Gateway also reward and punishment system.

Abstract

Abstract - This fieldwork report is prepared to know the implementation of asset management on the expenditure cycle of the Directorate of Asset and Procurement Management of Universitas Surabaya (MAP UBAYA), related to the procurement of goods, goods bill, and labeling of goods. This field work report aims to describe the activities of the author during an internship at the Directorate of MAP UBAYA. The field work report data is obtained from the author's experience during the internship, which is derived from documents and information from employees involved in the spending cycle, such as the Procurement Team and Asset Management Officer. This report specifically discusses the comparison of practices and procedures, the application of asset management theory and its control to the spending cycle at the Directorate of MAP UBAYA. Comparative results between practices and procedures identify not much of a majority difference because all activities are integrated by UBAYA's online system. While the results of the application of asset management theory and its control between identification practices have been applied well. With this apprentice the writer can develop soft skill and hard skills.

Abstract

Abstrak - Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh celebrity endorser terhadap brand recall melalui brand familiarity di Surabaya. Pengolahan data menggunakan regresi logistik, tabulasi silang chi-square dan independent sampel t-test dengan SPSS 18.0 software for Windows. Hasil Penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya pengaruh celebrity endorserterhadap brand recall. Sedangkan adanya peran moderasi brand familiarity tidak terbukti. Kata kunci: Endorser, Celebrity Endorser, Brand Recall, Brand Familiarity. Abstract -The result of this study show the influence celebrity endorser on brand recall. While brand familiarity moderating celebrity endorser on brand recall in Surabaya rejected. This study aims to know and analysis the influence of celebrity endorser on brand recall with brand familiarity moderating in Surabaya.This research using logistic regression, chi-square crosstabs, and independent sample ttest with SPSS 18.0.
