Abstract

Abstract- In order to upgrade the quality if services in UD Garuda Motor Jajag, the research done by implementing Quality Function Deployment (QFD). The purpose of Quality Function Deployment (QFD) implementation is to get the Voice of Customer, Technical Response Actions Priority, as well as strategies that resulted in the proposal should be taken bt the company to improve service quality. Based on research conducted using the method Quality Function Deployment (QFD) which implemented to service quality, occurred five dimension of service quality (tangible, assurance, reliability, responsiveness, and emphaty) and concluded technical respons actions (replace workshop obsolete tools and adapt new tools, open new more strategic bussiness branch, implement already made SOP, create new queue system using numbers, conduct training problem solving and FAQ explanation to employees, hire software developer, imposing maximum waiting time, increase communication of sales department and other department, hold additional meeting for employees, and implementation of company vision and mission). From the calculations, can be seen that all the technical response from the company haven’t met the desired value and needs to be improved, in order to improve service quality in UD Garuda Motor Jajag.

Abstract

The purpose of this study to determine and analyze the influence of Shopping Attributr and Shopping Value on the Behavioral Intention. The object is taken shopping outlet in Bali. This study uses primary data by distributing questionnaires to 150 respondents who had been to the island of Bali and shop there. The sampling technique in this study using a non-probability sampling with quantitative approach through statistical testing. Testing using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the help of analysis of moment structures (AMOS 16). The results of this study indicate that the dimension Attribute Shopping has a significant connection to the dimensions of Shopping Value and Shopping Value dimensions has a significant connection to variable Behavioral Intention.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the zone of tolerance of the three largest mobile operators Telkomsel, Indosat, and XL in Surabaya. This zone of tolerance is obtained by measuring the gap of customer expectations (desired service and adequate service) on the quality of service provided. The results of this study show that the three mobile operators have been able to meet minimum servicequality that customers want (adequate service) but does not meet the actualservice quality desired by the customers (desired service) Telkomsel has the most excellent service quality between the three providers and then followed by XL and Indosat. The wider zone of tolerance is owned by Indosat, followed by XL and then Telkomsel.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze factors which influence risk management performance. Variables which are used, supplier orientation, supplier dependency, customer orientation, and systemic purchasing toward the risk management performance in retail book and stationary at Surabaya. This research uses quantitative approach by using multiple linear regression. The sample of the study is the retail book and stationary at Surabaya. The total sample is 91. Research finding indicates that supplier orientation and supplier dependency give significantly positive effect to risk management performance. While customer orientation and systemic purchasing aren’t significant yet they give positive effect to risk management performance.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis dimensi likability, expertise, dan relevance dalam merefleksikan spokes-characterserta menganalis pengaruh spokes-character terhadap komponen brand equaity yaitu brand awareness/association, perceived quality dan brand loyalty terhadap merek Alfamart di Surabaya. Pengolahan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan IBM SPSS Statistics 22 dan Lisrel 8.70. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan yaitu non-probability sampling dengan teknik purposive sampling. Jumlah sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian yaitu 153 responden yang telah memenuhi karakteristik populasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan likability, expertise dan relevanvce merefleksikan spokes-character dan adanya pengaruh spokes-character terhadap brand awareness/association dan perceived quality, serta pengaruh perceived quality terhadap brand loyalty. Selain itu, pada penelitan ini juga terdapat bahwa brand awareness/association tidak berpengaruh terhadap brand loyalty.

Abstract

The Objective of this study is to examine the effect of Store Environment, Shopping Enjoyment Tendency, and Impulse Buying Tendency on Impulse Buying through Positive Affect, Negative Affect, and Urge to Buy Impulsively. Object taken is Super Indo MERR in Surabaya.The data used in this research is primary data obtained from questionnaires. Total respondent are 260 person who have an experience shopping impulsively and minimum 3 times shopping per month. The samling technique of this study was non-probability sampling. This study uses a quantitative approach through statistical analysis, Test conducted using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) and with the hel of Partial Least Square (PLS) The result of this study show that Store environment have a positive relationship with positive affect and urge to buy impulsively, store environment have a negative relationship with negative affect. Shopping enjoyment tendency have a positive relationship with positive affect, Impulse buying tendency have a positive relationship with urge to buy impulsively. Positive affect have a positive relation with urge to buy impulsively, and urge to buy impulsively have a positive relationship with impulse buying. The relationship between negative affect and urge to buy impulsively proved not to be significant.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the influence of the factors Servicescape, Perceived Value, Image, Pleasure, to Behavioral Intention at 4 star hotels in Surabaya. In the previous study is still relevant to be used at this time. The object taken is a 4 star hotel in Surabaya.The data used in this study is the primary data obtained from the distribution of questionnaires. Respondents in this study were 150 respondents who had visited the 4 star hotel in Surabaya, had used the facilities at the hotel, and had visited 4 star hotels in other cities. The sampling technique of this research is convenience sampling. This study uses a quantitative approach with statistical testing. The test was performed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method with the help of Analysis of moment structures (AMOS 22).The results of this study indicate that there is a significant relationship between Servicescape to Perceived Value, Servicescape to Image, Servicescape to pleasure, Perceived Value to Pleasure, Perceived Value to Behavioral Intention, Image to Pleasure, Image to Behavioral Intention, Pleasure to Behavioral Intention.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the image of consumer perceptions of Product Quality as a consideration in buying the product. The analysis is based on 9 dimensions of Performance, Features, Confromance, Durability, Reliability, Serviceability, Aesthetic, Perceived Quality and especially observe the effect of Environmental Friendly dimension to perception and consumer consideration in buying product.Data processing was conducted using IBM SPSS Statistics 18. The sampling technique that used is non-probability sampling with Convenience Sampling type. The number of sample in this research is 154. The results of this study indicate the perception of the majority of respondents of each characteristic that considers the dimensions of the quality of Environmental Friendly products (environmentally friendly). Most of the respondents had an awareness of environmental concerns that were being applied by starting to consider using environmentally friendly products. But that does not mean the other eight dimensions are not considered, but the product with the Environmental Friendly quality dimension gets a special value for the respondent's perception when considering buying a product.

Abstract

Abstract - This research aims to find out the influence of implementation of good corporate governance to firm performance in industrial manufacturing company in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX ) period 2011-2015. In this research samples there are 103 industrial manufacturing company which is listed in IDX period 2011-2015. Dependent variable in this research of firm performance measured by accounting based, i.e ROA & ROE and marketbased that is Tobin’s Q. While the independent variable is corporate governance mechanism; board size director, board size commissioner, board of independent commissioner, managerial ownership, ownership concentration and audit quality. Firm size and leverage are used for it’s control variable. The test on hypotheses using multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicates that there is a significant influence between board size commissioner, managerial ownerhip, ownership concentration and audit quality onto ROA. Furthermore, this study shows that there is a significant influence between board size commissioner, board of independent commissioner and audit quality onto ROE. Based on Tobin’s Q, there is only board size director, board of independent commissioner and audit quality which has a significant effect. The firm size and leverage control variable are also shown a significant effect on ROA and ROE.

Abstract

Abstract Purpose - This study aims to improve understanding of the creative accounting, so that it can detect the presence of creative accounting and how big the role of "The Godfather" or a special figure in providing influence to the culture of the organization so that it appears a practice creative accounting. Design / methodology / approach - Methodology used in the research begins with the collection of data from interviews, observation, and documentary analysis. Based on the dimensions of data sources, this research included in the field research. Findings - The result of this study is a special figure that has a very large role in shaping the culture of the organization so that it can occur creative accounting. Because the emergence of creative accounting in a company based on a certain destination, where the condition of the financial statements were not as expected, so do an act of creative accounting, then financial statements of these company can meet the expectations of the company. The organizational culture of a company affects the acts of creative accounting, where the organization members's background such as religion, education, age, gender, and occupation can influence the views and actions of the creative accounting. The role of "The Godfather" or a special figure in an organization in shaping the organizational culture is very strong, "The Godfather" can emphasize to his organization members that the act of creative accounting is a natural thing, because it has the objective to facilitate cash flow within the company and not with the intention of committing fraud so that creative accounting is deemed to be ethical.
