Abstract

the creative industry is a business activity that focuses on creativity and innovation. Creative industries based on creativity and innovation will grow if supported by adequate technology. New Wave era marked by the rapid progress in the field of Technology and Communications strongly supports the development of creative industries. Performance measurement of the company has been mostly only seen from the financial side, but there are still more assets of the company to the intangible assets. Based on the development of the current industrial world and the existence of intangible assets of corporate assets, the company's performance is not enough if only measured from the financial side, the company's performance should also need to assess the non-financial side. The purpose of this paper is to assess the performance of the company from the financial and non-financial side. The type of this research is quantitative descriptive, using business object with name BUCINI LEATHER CRAFT Yogyakarta, Data used in the form of obtained from interview and secondary data in the form of financial statement data of last 3 years and literature study. Analyzer to measure company performance by using balance scorcard, Balance scorcard is a measure of management to assess performance or health from side of finance and non finance. Assessment of balance scorecard in addition to financial aspects as well as aspects of customer satisfaction, internal business process aspects, aspects of learning and growth. Management achievement can also be determined by using this tool, but it can also be used to make improvements towards the achievement of the company's vision and mission. The expected result is expected to obtain a description of the company's strategy to achieve optimal profit both in financial and non-financial terms. Abstract

This study aims to factors that affect employee performance. This study also intends to test whether job satisfaction can mediate the relationship of role ambiguity and professional commitment to employee performance. This research is a quantitative research using survey model. Analysis technique used conviniance sampling with sample number 80 respondents who are employees of Public Accounting Firm in Semarang area. The results of the study are as follows: 1). Partial role ambiguity has no effect on job satisfaction and employee performance; 2). Commitment of the profession in a partial way affect the job satisfaction and employee performance, and 3). Job satisfaction affects employee performance. Based on path test results that have been done mention that job satisfaction does not successfully mediate relationship ambiguity role and professional commitment partially to employee performance. Abstract

This study aims to determine the impact of organizational commitment, the internal control system of government, public accountability, participation budget and budget goal clarity on managerial performance in the local work unit Sragen. The sampling technique in this research is done by purposive sampling. The sample in this study is a structural official echelon echelon level three and level four which consisted of the secretariat/secretary, the head of the field/section, the level of the head, as well as the head subfield/subsections at SKPD Sragen totaling 104 respondents. The technique of collecting data using questionnaires. The results of this study indicate that organizational commitment, the internal control system of government and budget goal clarity positive effect on managerial performance in the local work unit. However, public accountability and participation budget does not affect the performance of managerial work unit area. Abstract

This study aims to observe several factors that contributed the local government accountability of local government performance the samples were selected by using a purposive sampling method. Involving all the staff of government employees on the financial section at the local government organization around units of Semarang City local government with the total number of 59 respondents.  Source of data in this study are primary data. It was the data were collected by using sets of questionnaire measured by using likert scale. The data were analyzed by using multiple linear regression supported by SPSS version 20 software. The results of the study indicated that: (1) there was a not positive and significant effect application of public sector accounting on the accountability of local government performance, (2) there was a positive and significant  effect of financial management on the accountability of local government performance, and (3) there was a positive and significant effect control of financial statement quality on the accountability of local government performance  Keywords:    Application of public sector accounting, financial management, control of financial statement quality, and accountability of local government performance

Abstract

 The present research has two main goals, first, to re-test the dimensions of corporate culture from Hofstede et al. (1990). And second, to test the hypotheses regarding the relationship between corporate culture and employee behavior, including job saticfaction, organizational commitment, turnover intent. The sample frame is 952 respondents who serve as educative staff and administrator at the Bengkulu University. Four-hundred-and-eightyseven  respondents completed the questionnaire, resulted the 51.16% respond rate. Factor Analysis and Reliability Analysis from SPSS 12.00 were applied to test the dimensions of corporate cultureand the hypotheses were tested using SE-Path from Statistica 5.0. The 42 items questionnaire is loaded in 6 factors, as well as in Hofstede et al.’s study. Seven i tems dropped because factor loadings were less than 0.40. Another 1 item was drifted in reliability test. Therefore, the final 34 items were analyzed further with SE-Path to test the research hypotheses. Two out of 6 hypotheses are supported (hypothesis 1 and 5); 3 hypothesis are partially supported (hypothesis 2, 3, and 6); and hypothesis 4 are not supported.Keywords: corporate culture, job saticfaction, organizational commitment, turnover intent.

Abstract

Research in end users of the information system development found the importance of involving the user to participate in order to get the system success.  Some research concluded that user participation influenced the system success significantly.  However, there are so many questions of the extension of the study.  The objective of the study is to examine the direct and indirect effect of the user participation to the user satisfaction in information system development.  The study also intended to examine how the user understanding influences the user participation and user acceptance in order to get the user satisfaction.  Based on these objectives, this study uses the comprehensive model called Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The study especially involves the respondents from the banking industries.  That is  the reason why it used the term  of user understanding rather than user expertise.  Most of the users are in the implementation stage of the system development that needs the understanding rather than the expertise to operate the system. The result is the user understanding significantly influenced the user acceptance and the user participation.  The study also concludes that the user acceptance significantly influenced the user satisfaction.  In the context of indirect effects, the study recommends to raise the user acceptance in order to get the user satisfaction by raising the user understanding in the information system development.Keywords : user  understanding, user participation, user acceptance dan user satisfaction, information system development

Abstract

Long term relationship between a company as a buyer and a supplier is a perception of mutual dependency which is beneficial for both parties. Commitment and dependency, trustworthiness and satisfaction influnce that long term relationship. The trustworthines, however, represents a determining factor since its function is an credibility and benefalence. Credibility creates expectation toward both written and oral statements which an trustworthy and reliable expressed by both parties as working partners. Benevolence makes both parties consider and motivate each other concerning their  welfare to work together. Satisfaction, on the other hand, will arouse the willingness to trustact with another company which will help abstain the credibility in order to cooperate in the future. Abstract

The objective of this research is is to analyze the long-term relationship between syariah banks in Padang and their customers, so that the structure of direct and indirect of exogenous variables on the relationship between banks and their customers can be formulated. The population of this research is all customers of syariah in Padang West Sumatera.  The sample size comprises 380 sample units, which is selected with proportional cluster random sampling. The analysis technique is path analysis. The research indicates that indirect influences of each exogenous variable bigger than the direct influence. The correlation of each exogenous variable is highly significant. Total influence all of exogenous variables on endogenous ones is 70,60%. Three of six exogenous variables, i.e, commitment, empathy and trust have bigger influences on the  long-term relationship between the banks syariah and their customers. Mean while, the smallest influence is given by equality and dependence.Key words: long-term relationship, commitment, empathy and trust.

Abstract

Otonomy expected to region empowerment increase, so aid from central government decrease. Thus, the state budgets burden can decrease. Unfortunatly, no every region ready to otonomy. Because of that, it’s important to research about what’s the determinant of the aid from central government to regions. The object is Jawa Tengah, especially Boyolali, Klaten, Sukoharjo, Surakarta and Wonogiri. This paper present research with data pooling. The model estimated with GLS (Generalized Least Square) method. The research produced : The correct model is FEM (Fixed Effect Model). The significant variable is PDRB (positif), own source revenue (negative) and numbers of people (negative). Abstract

Ada bertambahnya minat terhadap berita yang berhubungan dengan lingkungan bisnis. Ada sebuah dorongan yang berasal dari kesadaran diantara para konsumen untuk melindungi lingkungan. Beberapa perusahaan telah mengambil langkah untuk bertanggung jawab terhadap lingkungan, misalnya perusahaan mobil Jepang seperti Honda dan Toyota telah membuat mobil hibrida untuk menarik konsumen yang pemerhati lingkungan.  Tujuan penelitian ini adalah meneliti hubungan antara nilai konsumen, efek ekologi, perhatian pembeli dan pembelian sebenarnya dari Green product (produk ramah lingkungan). Pada penelitian ini ada 132 responden yang dipakai untuk menganalisis hubungan antara nilai konsumen, efek ekologi, perhatian pembeli dan pembelian sebenarnya dari Green product (produk ramah lingkungan). Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan ”Struktural Equation Modeling” dan hasil penelitian ini sesuai dengan hipotesis yang diujikan. Artikel ini memuat seluruh analisa data, diskusi, hasil penelitian dan implikasi untuk penelitian lebih lanjut. Kata kunci : Lingkungan, nilai consumen, dampak lingkungan keinginan, perilaku.
