Abstract

Monetary policy is a main policy used by Bank Indonesia for the stabilization of macro economy. Monetary policy instruments include: an open market policy, the discount policy and reserve reqiirement.. In the implementation experience obstacles for policy makers related with trade off between the final target, other beside it there is uncertainly condition caused the achievement of the ultimate goal is not achieved. Therefore we need an operational target (interest rate) as a target of achieving the ultimate goal (inflation). Key words: monetary policy, operational goals, end goals

Abstract

The Development of the internet as a global medium for the dissemination of corporate financial information creates a new reporting environment. Ektensive literature examines the determinant of volountary financial reportingon the internet is an activity that has increased in recent years. This paper explores factors which influence financial disclosure on the internet. The faktors are company size, likuidity, listing status, owner deliberation andleverage level. This type of disclosure is voluntary and unregulated so academiccommunity must be aware of the spreading of financial reporting on the internet.Keywords : Financial Information, internet, company size, liquidity, industri, listing status, sprad on shareholding and leverage level.

Abstract

There are many efforts to decrease the poverty in Indonesia. The large number of povertybecomes an invaluable issue for anyone who wants to get simphaty from the other parties. Thedecrease of poverty in indonesia is, as a matter of fact, the responsibility for all people, allelements should have the sense of resposibility to the wealth of the society, among them arecompanies or the business world through Corporate Sosial Resposibility (CSR) program. Morethan 40 million people in indonesia are poor. The government attention trough APBN has notsolved this problem significantly. Therfore, the role of private sectors to reduce the number of thepoor through Corporate Sosial Responsibility (CSR) is needed. The programs conducted by thegovernment are charity while the other one conducted by corporations are more directed toempower the surrounding society by doing comunity development as their role to decrease thenumber of poverty in Indonesia.Keywords: poverty, corporate sosial respinsibility, charity, community development, sustainabledevelopment

Abstract

One of the popular fashions in Indonesia is batik. Several countries had acknowledgedthat batik was originated from their countries. In fact, Malaysia had registered a patent for batik.However, recently UNESCO has acknowledged that batik is indeed an Indonesian culturalheritage. In Indonesia, batik has developed since the beginning of the 19th century and hasundergone the rise and fall through its development.The analysis of batik industry will identify the opportunities and strengths of Indonesianbatik industry in facing competition. In addition, it also will identify threats and weaknesses ofbatik industry using SWOT analysis.Prior to analyzing opportunities, strengths, threats and weaknesses of batik industry, themacro environment of the company is analyzed that consist of technology, general economiccondition, legislation and regulation, societal values and lifestyle, population demographics. Abstract

Base on the leadership theory and research shows that transformational leadership is morepromising to sustain the success of the organization, especially the influence of organizationsthat are facing global business today. Development of a transformational leadership modelthat was developed by the authors to adopt and modify the effective transformationalleadership model proposed by Locke and friends. Development of a transformationalleadership model is composed of five parts, namely: 1) the motives and character, 2)knowledge, skill, and ability, 3) organizational culture, 4) vision, and 5)implementation of the vision.Key words: transformational, leadership, organization.

Abstract

Previous of trust have found that trust was a central role in development of successrelationship This study try to answer that question with monitoring relationship between PT.Combiphar’s salesperson and ritailer in Semarang. In addition to know consequences of trust, theauthor also analyze long-term in relationship as consequences of trust.To answer rhe question on this study, the outhor develops a research model from literaturereview. The model has two hypothesis with variables : communication ability from salesperson,trust to salesperson and long-term relationship. Data analyze to 65 ritailer respondent a number ofdrugstore, haberdasherry, Minimarket and Supermarket from Combiphar product in Semarang andis done using Structural Equation Modeling as analysis toll on AMOS 4.01. program.Result of data analysis showed that all hypotesis can be received. Thus, it can beconcluded that trust to salesperson can be influenced by factors : communication ability fromsalesperson for indicators communication frequencies, dialog communication, verbalcommunication and listening. Furthermore from that trust can be ritailer influences to long-termrelationship with that salesperson.Key words: communication, trust, long term relationship

Abstract

In order to increase their professionalism, auditor demanded to maintain and achieved the goal ofaudit. The purpose of audit is to give opinion about auditee assertion. To achieve that purpose,there are many factors to be concerned by the auditor, which influence their task. Thepsychological and communicational factor is highly influence the auditor as they faced the auditeedirectly or non directly. The psychological skill help the auditor to self identify, maintainbehavior, keeping the self performance and self control as they communicate with the auditee. Thepsychological skill would also help the auditor to better knowing the psychological circumstancesof their client thus the atmosphere of comfort would established on auditing process. This comfortestablished by auditor, could become the entry point of auditee’s open minded nature on thefinding of facts by the auditor. Second, the communication is very important as the initial step forthe auditor to communicate the task and trusteeship of the auditee. Communication skills increasethe smoothness of audit process in order to find and analyze any necessary proves of audit.Key word: audit, auditor, auditee, opinion, assertion, psychology, communication.

Abstract

Company which is go public have to make annual report to BEI ( Indonesian stockexchange ) and stockholder annually according to the decision of BAPEPAM chairman No. Kep36/PM/2003, No 1 regulation X.K.2 about the obligation of giving periodical financial report, saythat periodic financial report with accountant reporting give to BAPEPAM at least on the lastthird month after the date of annual report. The result of company audit have to announce topublic through two Indonesian newspapaer periodically and on time.The purpose of this reseachis to test factors influencing time periode of financial report giving to public with criterium ofcompany, range of provitability, solvability, auditor reputation and kinds of auditor’s opinion asindependent variableThe reseach population about company size, provitability, solvability, auditorreputation and opinion about the completion of annually financial audit report and publication ofannual financial report to public are LQ 45 company, registered at BEI 2004-2006. The datawhichis used is secundary data. Data analysis with normality, classical assumtion includingmoltikolinearitas test, heterokedastisitas test and autocorrelation, and also hipotesis test includingregression analysis and partial hipotesis ( uji t )First regression got the result that only ROA significanthy to time periode offinancial report giving to public annually ( Y1) with value of significant = 0,004<0,05. Secondregression got the result that only SIZE with value of significant 0,000<0,05, ROA value ofsignificant 0,026<0,05 dan OPINI with value of significant 0,000<0,05 that is significantlyinfluence to time periode of auditor’s financial report announcement to public ( Y2 )Key words : timelinnes, audit delay, size, provitability, solvability, auditor’s reputation, auditor’sopinion
