Abstract

Background: A problem which related with ergonomy factor commonly caused by conformity between the worker with occupation circles completely include occupation tools and the energy need or the amount of calori which used by the worker. Light in weight occupation which must be done by a worker will depend on changes indication appear and can be measured by measuring human part of body such as the rapid artery beat. The kind of measuring done for knowing how big the physical load accepted by the worker so that cause weariness. This experiment as a purpose to know the relation between the occupation weariness of the laundry workers in Kelurahan Warungboto Kecamatan Umbulharjo Yogyakarta City.Method: The kind of this experiment is observational analytic with study program Cross Sectional. The data interpretation done by measuring of artery beat on wrist (radical artery) to see the respondent occupation load and measuring weariness by Reaction timer tool.Result: From the test result statistic, so respondent there are relation between occupation load with occupation weariness Laundry worker in Kelurahan Warungboto Kecamatan Umbulharjo Yogyakarta city statistically mean (Sig-2 tailed 0,0000). Ho which states is no relationship between load with occupation weariness of the laundry worker rejected Ha which states there is relationship between load with occupation weariness of the laundry worker accepted.Conclusion: There are relation that mean between occupation load with occupation weariness of the laundry worker in Kelurahan Warungboto Kecamatan Umbulharjo Yogyakarta city.Keyword: Occupation load, Artery beat, Occupation weariness and Reaction timer.

Abstract

Background: Glaucoma is characterized by significantly increase in eye pressure that can lead to order eye diseases including part or total blindness. Glaukoma is still the main eye health problem in Indonesia and Yogyakarta Special Teritory. Glaukoma causes permanen blindness. Based on data from medical records of glaucoma patients who seek treatment at hospital outpatient Eye Dr. Yap Yogyakarta in 2009 amounted to 1302 souls, while in the January to May 2010 amounted to 510 souls. This study aims to determine what factors are associated with the incidence of glaucoma in eye hospital Dr. Yap Yogyakarta.Methods: This was observational analytic study using case control design (case control) with a ratio of 1:2. Technique of sampling using the Non-Random Sampling, with purposive sampling approach, with a total sample of 105 respondents consisting of 35 cases and 70 controls, data collected by interview with questionnaire guidelines.Results: test results showed that three variables are not statistically significant and the two variables are statistically significant history of diabetes mellitus (OR = 0.624, p = 0.442, CI 95% = 0.185 to 2.097), history of hypertension (OR = 6.401, p-0, 000, 95% CI = 2.441 to 16.784), eye trauma (OR = 1.130, p = 0.839, CI 95% = 0.348 to 3.666), complication of eye surgery (OR = 3.463, p = 0.004, 95% CI - 1.444 to 8.306), and the use of corticosteroid drugs (OR-1, 130, p = 0.839, CI 95% = 0.348 to 3.666). Results of multivariat test surgery showed that the most dominant variables on the incidence of glaucoma in eye hospital Dr. Yap Yogyakarta is a history of hypertension with Sig = 0.001 Exp [3 = 5.675 (95% CI:2.105 to 15.301).Conclusion: There was two variables that is statistically significant, history of hypertension and complications of eye surgery. The most dominant variable with the incidence of glaucoma was a history of hypertension.Keywords: Glaucoma, Complications, Corticosteroids

Abstract

ABSTRACTBackground: One of the causes of the ineffective preventing of Thalassemia and getting more cases in Pekuncen and Sumbang sub district Banyumas was inadequate knowledge of the disease. Health volunteers had an important role to the distribution of information about thalassemia to the people. This research was aimed to observe the effectiveness of lecture method in improving knowledge of health volunteers on Thalassemia in Sumbang and Pekuncen sub district.Methods: The researcher applied quasi experiment through pretest and posttest design in her research. The population covered the active health volunteers in Sumbang and Pekuncen Sub districts consisted of 64 people who met the criteria. For analyzing the data, the researcher used univariate and bivariate (Wilcoxon test).Results and conclusion: The research showed that there was a different knowledge before and after lecture activity, the average score of knowledge before getting the treatment was 10.82 and it improved into 12.18 after the lecture session. There was 60.7% volunteers that was improved their knowledge after obtaining lecture session on thalassemia.Keywords: thalassemia, health volunteer, lecture method

Abstract

RSU PKU Muhammadiyah Bantul is one of the charities Muhammadiyah Persyarikatanbusiness located in the district of Bantul. In its efforts to enhancing the quality of service, themanagement did attempt to explore what the keinginkan customers. Steps taken bymanagement is to provide a suggestion box, but the attention of the customer against such amove does not show a meaningful response. This study aims to assist the hospital managementto explore the desires of customers based on SERVQUAL ModelSERVQUAL model of service quality measurement model is formulated byParasuraman. This model defines the gap or gap (G) for service quality factor. As for thedimensions of service quality used five dimensions of service quality developed byParasuraman et al, including the dimension Tangibles, Responsivness, Reability, Assuranceand EmphatyThe research results showed that all the attributes of the value gap. Abstract

Background: Service center medical skin is a new service PKU Muhammadiyah Hospital in Yogyakarta, the necessary research to find out the marketing strategy plan that will be used PKU Muhammadiyah Hospital in Yogyakarta. The marketing strategies of medical skin care center that will be researched to see of the marketing mix, consisting of product, price, place, promotion, people, processes and Physical evidence, from the marketing mix in the analysis using the SWOT analysis to determine the right strategy. Method: The study was descriptive qualitative research. The subjects in this study were the Director of Medical Services, Marketing Manager, one Marketing staff, dermatologist and six patients. The instrument used a form of interview guidelines and the type of recorder. Data analysis Used SWOT analysis. Results: (1) Aspects of the product; Products used in cooperation with Ristra because Ristra is a product that has been certified legal, so safe to use MUI emergency. (2) Aspects of the price, price is still relatively cheap because they still get the discount. (3) Aspects of the place; PKU Muhammadiyah Hospital in Yogyakarta strategically located alongside the highway easily accessible by any transportation making it easier for patients to come to the skin medical center. (4) Promotion: Promotion is not maximized, not broad market area just around the DIY. (5) People; trained human resources, good, loyal and work according to the procedure, Consumers who feel happy and satisfied with the services provided at the medical center skin. (6) Physical evidence; facilities and infrastructure such as physical buildings, medical equipment provided by hospital and has been standard. (7) Process: The process of medical skin care center for treatment tailored to the criteria that will be used in patient care, marketing process of the skin as support medical center for promotional material. Conclusion: The PKU Muhammadiyah Hospital in Yogyakarta in cooperation with the product Ristra because. legal and safe to use, its strategic location but the parking lot should be disciplined, the promotion should be more leverage and targets a broader region, based on SWOT analysis the most appropriate strategy used PKU Muhammadiyah Hospital in Yogyakarta is an aggressive strategy because it can be made in reference to using a strategy oriented to growth stage.Keywords: Skin Medical Center Services, Marketing Mix, SWOT analysis, Strategic Marketing

Abstract

Background:Breastfeeding offers special health benefits to both infant and mother. A breastfeeding-friendly hospital might be an essential factor for predicting breastfeeding rates among women.Method: explored the impact of breastfeeding-friendly support on the intention of mothers to continue breastfeeding, we conducted a survey to the women who visited in Muhammadiyah Hospital of Yogyakarta.Result: The findings of the present study suggested that to encourage and increase the rate of continued breastfeeding 90% respondent understands the important of lactating corner. The respondent stated lactating corner provided good breastfeeding education to the women.Conclusion: Hospital should establish dedicated breastfeeding rooms and maintain a comfortable and clean environment. Keywords: exclusive breast milk, counseling on health promotion,lactation corner

Abstract

Background: Mortality is an indicator of perinatal health status of mothers and children in the general obstetric service. Puskesmas Baamang Unit II Sampit is one of the health service in the town of Sampit who are ready to provide health services to the community. Socioeconomic factors such as education, knowledge about health, nutrition and environmental health, beliefs, values, and poverty is an individual and family factors that affect mortality in the community. Low socioeconomic women who are unable to meet the daily needs because of economic constraints so that womens nutritional needs are not fulfilled, this will have an impact on pregnancy. The purpose of this study to determine the relationship between socioeconomic status families with perinatal mortality in the working area Puskesmas Baamang Unit II Sampit. Methods: This was an observational research with cross sectional design. Total sample of 81 people. Samples were taken with a total sampling technique, using primary and secondary. Results: This study showed that there was a relationship between the social economy of perinatal death with a family with a CC value = 0.636; X2 count> X2 table (12.271> 3.841) and Approx. .000 Sig is smaller than ? (0.05). Conclusion: There was a relationship between socioeconomic status families with perinatal mortality in the Puskesmas Baamang Unit II Sampit in Central Kalimantan. Abstract

Background: Elderly Group is included into nutritional susceptible group because of specific feature causing this group easily affected by malnutrition. Age increasing in someone causes a low metabolism velocity. It can be solved by giving nutritional need adequate for elderly. Thus, paying attention to con-sumption pattern is an important thing to keep their nutritional status. Aside from giving a good nutrition, physical activity is also a thing that should be paid attention to in elderly. The aims of this research are for consumption pattern, physical activity, nutritional status, and relation between consumption pattern and physical activity with nutritional status in elderly in Panti Sosial Trena Werdha (PTSW) Unit Abiyoso Yogyakarta, at year 2011. Methods: Cross sectional was chosen as the design of this research. Population in this research was all elderly in PTSW Unit Abiyoso Yogyakarta. Sample taken in this research was population that filled inclu-sion criteria established by the researcher, so that sample obtained 53 people. Instrument research used was direct measure and questionnaire interview, and analyze used was Chi square. Results: Based on bi-variety test, there is no significant relation between consumption pattern and nutri-tional status, seen from RP=0,811 with Confident Interval 0,479<RP<1,372. And there is no significant relation between physical activity and nutritional status, seen from RP= 1,005 with Confident Interval 0,638<RP<1,585. Conclusion: There is no significant relation between consumption patterns and physical activity with nutritional status in elderly in Panti Sosial Tresna Werdha (PSTW) Unit Abiyoso Yogyakarta, at year 2011. Abstract

Background: Kindergarten (TK) is the beginning in introducing a child with a social environment outside the family. Kindergarten-age children is going through a relatively rapid growth and is a group vulnerable to nutritional problems especially energy and protein deficiency. Nutrition got by children in everyday food consumption has a big role for the children. Food facility (School feeding) is expected to be able to meet the nutritional needs of children that consist of morning snack, lunch and afternoon snack. The aim of this study is to determine the differences of energy and protein intakes during the day of kindergarten students at school with school feeding and non-school feeding model in Blimbing, Sukoharjo, Central Java. Method: This was a quasi experimental research design. Numbers of the study subjects consist of 38 5-7 years old kindergarten students from schools with school feeding and non-school feeding. Research tools used is 24-hour recall form. Data analysis used independent t-test to determine differences in the energy and protein intakes. Results: The consumption average of energy during the day (7.30 am-03.30 pm) of the kindergarten children with school feeding and non-school feeding a model is 572,5 and 640,5 kcal. While the average consumption of protein during the day (7.30 am-03.30 pm) in kindergarten children with school feeding and non-school feeding a model was 20,3 and 19,3 gr. Conclusion: There was no difference of the energy and protein intakes during the day (p> 0.05) between the two types of the kindergarten children in school. Abstract

Background: Wonosobo station lies in Wonosobo Regency, Central Java, Association of Driver of Wonosobo-Sawangan City Transportation (PERKASA) is an organization which serve the transportation needs of Wonosobo people. It has 80 buses with 60 drivers. Method: this study is an analytic observational study with a cross sectional design on drivers of city transportation in Wonosobo. The study aims to identifying the relationship between the age, working load, and sitting position when having a job and complain on back. The applied instrument is a checklist based on the adoption from Nilamsari?s study with 33 respondents who meet the inclusive criteria. Result: most the age of drivers in the risk category of positive backache, 17 people (51.5%). While the age of drivers without the risk of negative backache is 5 people (15.3%). The respondents? working load in the light category with negative backache is 14 people (42.4) and with positive backache are 17 people (51.5%. The sitting position of the respondent in the unsuitable category with the negative backache is 12 people (36%) and with the positive backache are 18 people (45.5%). While the sitting position of respondents is less suitable with negative backache is 3 people (9.1%) and nobody feel positive backache. Conclusion: There is a relationship in the year between age and sitting position when having a job with complain of backache in driver relationship city transportation in the year 2010.
