ABSTRACTBackground: One of the causes of the ineffective preventing of Thalassemia and getting more cases in Pekuncen and Sumbang sub district Banyumas was inadequate knowledge of the disease. Health volunteers had an important role to the distribution of information about thalassemia to the people. This research was aimed to observe the effectiveness of lecture method in improving knowledge of health volunteers on Thalassemia in Sumbang and Pekuncen sub district.Methods: The researcher applied quasi experiment through pretest and posttest design in her research. The population covered the active health volunteers in Sumbang and Pekuncen Sub districts consisted of 64 people who met the criteria. For analyzing the data, the researcher used univariate and bivariate (Wilcoxon test).Results and conclusion: The research showed that there was a different knowledge before and after lecture activity, the average score of knowledge before getting the treatment was 10.82 and it improved into 12.18 after the lecture session. There was 60.7% volunteers that was improved their knowledge after obtaining lecture session on thalassemia.Keywords: thalassemia, health volunteer, lecture method

A single equation model that is often used ignores the interdependence between response variables. Frequently encountered variables that have a two-way relationship. These interrelated two-way relationships can be summarized in a simultaneous equation model system. There is a relationship between variables which are in fact dynamic. In the system model of simultaneous equations with dynamic panel data, each structural equation is a dynamic panel data regression equation. The estimation of using Ordinary Least Square (OLS) in the dynamic panel data model results in biased and inconsistent predictors because there is a lag of the dependent variable that correlates with the error. First difference in dynamic panel models is used to eliminate individual effects. Instrument variables are needed, namely variables that do not correlate with errors. Therefore, dynamic panel data models are more suitable to be used in analyzing poverty and social change. From the simultaneous equation model obtained, the dominant factors affecting the level of poverty in Central Java Province are the unemployment rate, Human Development Index, labor force participation rate, population, and Gross Regional Domestic Product.

Nilai perkiraan produksi padi digunakan untuk mendukung kebijakan pemerintah dalam penanganan isu ketahanan pangan nasional. Selama ini perkiraan produksi padi nasional ditentukan melalui peramalan luas panen dan produktivitas padi yang sering dilakukan oleh Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menentukan perkiraan luas panen dan produksi padi di wilayah Banyumas untuk tahun 2011 dan 2012 menggunakan metode Adaptive Neuro Fuzzy Inference System (ANFIS). Data yang digunakan adalah data luas panen dan produksi padi sawah di Kabupaten Banyumas dalam kurun waktu tahun 2001 – 2010. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perkiraan luas panen dan produksi untuk tahun 2011 dan 2012 adalah 263.619 dan 64.799 hektare dan 314.913 dan 326.839 ton. Tingkat akurasi peramalan yang dihasilkan dengan kriteria Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE), sebesar 3,122 %.

The Quantitative structure-Activity Relationship (QSAR) study has been performed on pattern of structure-molecule relationship. Artificial Neural Network (ANN) model used to estimate pattern of enzyme activity structure-molecule and atomic location in three-dimension for compound of flavonoid as the predictors. Value of determination coefficient used to compare between actual value and value of estimating by ANN models based on enzyme’s wavelength, so resulting cross validating is obtained. We use Quasy-Newton algorithm with Broyden-Fletcher-Goldfarb-Shanno (BFGS) procedure.

Queue processes are stochastic processes which involve the arrival process and the service process. In a queue, there is a condition of servers that become unavailable for a period of time called vacation. The purpose of this research is to analyze the derivation Geo/G/1 queue systems model with vacation and its application. Furthermore, based on simulation on vacation model, with different values of traffic intensity and vacation parameter, we concluded that the bigger traffic intensity and vacation parameter values, then the mean of total number of costumers in a system and the mean of waiting time in the queue that is caused by vacation will be decreased.

Least Square Method is one of methods for estimating of parameters of regression model. Model of least square methods is not valid if there are some disobeydiance in classical assumptions, for example, there are outliers. To resolve the problem, robust regression method is usually used. The method is used because it can detect the outliers and give stable results. In this research, data used is data for human development index of districts in Central Java from 2019 to 2020. Estimation for robust regression method chosen is estimation-M and estimation-s with Tukey Bisquare as a weight function. Criterions for choosing the best model are based on adjusted R-Squared value and mean square error (MSE). The result shows that robust regression model with estimation-M is a better model since it has adjusted R-Squared value tending to one and the least MSE.

This study aims to identify and analyze local government role as well as solving the problem concerning protection of migrant workers and their families before, during, and after working. The results showed that the local governments have not perfomed their role in maximum level to protect migrant workers and their families. Many policies have not been able to encourage legal protection because they are established on the old laws and emphasized administrative. The policies opens for brokers to operate in the village and the number of fake documents. The legal protection for migrant workers and their families is mainly provided by NGOs and individuals who are aware of protecting the migrant workers, and by establishing village regulations. It is necessary to initiate a more comprehensive legal protection, both administratively and technically through adjustment of local regulations to the new laws. In addition, the role of villages and communities/individuals can be expanded to better protect migrant workers.

The Covid-19 pandemic has had a tremendous impact on all walks of life. The economic sector is one experienced a worsening impact and the banking sector is no exception. Sharia banking will complex challenges when compared to conventional banking considering caused Sharia banking used a profit-sharing contract. For this reason, it is necessary to conduct research that analyzes the performance of Sharia banking during the Covid-19 period. The performance in this study focuses on aspects financing of distribution. The purpose of this study was determined the difference performance of Sharia banking between before and during covid-19, with three variables of TPF, FDR and NPF. The second objective is to see the effect of the three independent variables partially and simultaneously on banking performance both before and during Covid-19. This type of research is quantitative. Statistical tests used include t test, F test, and linear regression. The data used is secondary data obtained from the Indonesian Banking Statistics Report issued by the Financial Services Authority. Data processing is used SPSS. Data period before the pandemic took of January-December 2019 and during the pandemic took of January-December 2020. The results of this research, FDR variable has differences between before and during the Covid-19 pandemic. There is no difference between TPF and NPF variables before and during the Covid-19 pandemic. The results of the second study stated that the TPF and FDR variables had partial and simultaneous effect on the performance of financing distribution, while the NPF variable had no effect either partially or simultaneously on the financing performance of Sharia Banking.
