Abstract

The main objective of this study is to examine the influence of information technology and role clarity to corporate performance. Role clarity as an moderating variable. This research represents the empirical test which used sensus sampling technics in data collection. Data were collected using a survey 120 respondens. Data was analyzed by SPSS Ver 18. The result found that received one hypothesis and rejected the other.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to test and analize brand involvement ang motives consumer in the electronic-word of mouth communication engagement in social media. The kinds of electronic-word of mouth communication in social media such as writing, liking, sharing, recomending, commenting, and tweeting. The subject of this research are people who ever makes an electronic-word of mouth in social media. The object of this research are Facebook, Titter, Google+, and Alexa. The method used in the research is survey by using purposive sampling technique to 200 sosial media’s users in Indonesia that ever wrote a testimonial.. Datas analyze using SPSS and hypothesis testing using simple linear regression.  This findings shows brand involvement, product involvement, self involvement, and advice seeking  has positive and significant effect to electronic-word of mouth communication in social media, and the other hand, other involvement has positive effect but not significant, and also need for social interaction has negative effect to the electronic-word of mouth communication in social media. In means in the research, there are 4 hypothesis supported and 2 hypothesis not supported.

Abstract

Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) is the main sector to prevent developing countries from collapse during the economy crises. Meanwhile in Indonesia, not many policies in SME seem to stand in the right place in helping the SME actors especially the mikro business people. This research aimed to study about the implementation of government aid program in two sub-district in Bantul and how the micro business people perspective about those program. Using triangulation of qualitative and quantitative methods, this research tried to combine those insight and fi ndings from the two different data sources. Result in early qualitative research of study has shown two main reasons of government aid program implementation characters: (a) inefective program caused by beureucrate and (b) distrust of community. The following quantitative research was organised to confi rm and emphasize the indicators. Data of questionnaire confi rmed that distrust of people came from the ineffi cient beaurocrate. It also emerged the fact about complexity of program came from the jealousy between benefi ciaries has made the programs less efective.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of management ownership, type of industry, product diversifi cation, profi tability, and fi rm age to risk management disclosure on the annual reports of the companies that listed in BEI 2010-2014. The data of this study is secondary data. Sample of this study used bank industry and manufacturing industry that listed in BEI from 2010 until 2014. Sampling methode of this study used purposive sampling and get 30 companies. The statistics methode used multiple linear regression analysis. The result showed that management ownership, type of industry, profi tability, and fi rm age have no effect to risk management disclosure. This study also showed that all variables has effect to risk management disclosure and the models of the study has goodness of fi t.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the infl uence of the Good Corporate Governance (GCG) on the market performance that is mediated by the disclosure of sustainability report. This study used two model which fi rst model aims to obtain empirical evidence about the infl uence of GCG and the disclosure of sustainability reporting on market performance. The second model aimed to get empirical evidence whether disclosure ofthe sustainability report is able to mediate the relationship between GCG and market performance.This study uses multiple linear regression model to test the hypothesis in the fi rst and second research model. The sample in this study is a non-fi nancial company participant Indonesia Sustainability Report Awards (ISRA) 2009-2012 listed in the Indonesia Stock Exchange. In the fi rst research model using 30 samples, while the second models using 29 samples.The results showed that the GCG as measured by the number of meetings of the board of directors and the proportion of independent board have a signifi cant effect on the market performance. However, GCG as measured by governance committee did not prove the existence of an effect on the market performance. In addition, the disclosure of sustainability reports proved positive signifi cant effect on the market performance.The results also found that disclosure of the sustainability report is able to mediate the relationship between GCG and market performance.

Abstract

Organizational behavior is a refl ection of the attitudes and behaviors of employees who believed based on the perception of the individual to improve their performance. The purpose of study will describe the infl uence of organization-based self-esteem (OBSE) on organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) mediated self effi cacy. The research was quantitative methode and to collect data using instruments measuring instrument adapted from self-effi cacy (Bandura, 1997), OBSE (Pierce, Gardner, Cummings, & Dunham, 1989, 1993) and OCB (Williams & Anderson, 1991). Samples of the research were hospital employees, group D both medical and nonmedical employees in the region of Yogyakarta Province. Results of the factor analysis with SEM using AMOS version 18, describes relationship OBSE on OCB both directly and mediated by self-effi cacy in the work environment within the scope of the valueattitude- behavior.

Abstract

The problem of poverty is suspected as old as human life itself. While social scientists agree that the main cause of poverty was economic system prevailing in the society, but poverty itself is not the problem that manifested because of only the economic system. In fact, poverty is a manifestation of human interaction that involves virtually all aspects belonging to the human life, so that the problem is not endless.Problems that occur in urban poverty believed to be caused not only by low incomes, but also by the mindset of respondents that made respondents static. This mindset was reflected in a lifestyle that could be seen from the behavior of consumption, investment, use of leisure time and concern for the salvation of the souls of respondents (safety). It was expected to become the foundation to be used in solving the problems faced by the urban poor and what solutions can be given.With SPSS analysis tool that generated tabulation summarizes, arrangement or compilation of data in the form of numeric tables would explain how the characteristics and description from the lifestyle of the urban poor as a real form of the mindset of the respondents. The results of this study indicated that the majority of the urban poor over the age of 51 years and only educated to primary school. Environmental conditions and poor sanitation, inadequate nutrition fulfillment, availability of adequate clothing though limited, the recreation area around the city of Semarang and concern for the salvation of the souls of respondents who still lack was a general overview from the results of analyzes performed.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze infl ation in Indonesia by using the New KeynesianPhillips Curve. The study used Vector Autoregressive (VAR) with the type of VECM (Vector Error Correction Model). VECM is one of restrictive VAR. The fi rst step of VAR is determining endogenous and exogeneous variables based on the theory. Estimation results indicate that the Error Correction Term (ECT) is signifi cantly negative (-0.675167). It means that there was the existence of the error term, and the negative sign indicates that an error capable of leading to equilibrium. Based on the results obtained of VECM calculation, expected infl ation had negative effect on inflation in Indonesia (-0.913099). Indonesia output gap had positive effect (62.98311) while world output gap did not affect infl ation in Indonesia. It means that domestic factors more determine infl ation in Indonesia than the foreign factors. Thus, Bank Indonesia as price stabilizer will be easier to create a policy to tackle infl ation because domestic factors are easier to control than the foreign factors.

Abstract

Objective of this study is to empirically test whether local original incomeand transfer revenue give infl uence to the relation between capital expenditure andmaintenance expenditure in regional government budget. First test showed that reallocal original income give positive effect toward this relation in present year andmaintenance expenditure in next year. This result shows that real local original incomeis considered variable by local government in arranging budget of maintenance inrelation with capital expenditure policy. Second test showedthat transfer revenue haveno positive effect to the relationship between present year capital expenditure andmaintenance expenditure in next year. This result explaining that transfer revenue isnot considered variable during determination of next year maintenance expenditureby local government in relation with present year capital expenditure. This study giveempiric evidence of fl ypaper effect in relation between revenue and regional budget,which suggests that people tend to be effectively spend their revenue that comes fromtheir own effort, than income from other party.

Abstract

This study examined the relationship between online flow elements on hedonic and utilitarian online shopping experience and its influence on the satisfaction that later influenced the social commerce intention. The research sample using purposive sampling method of social media users who ever search information and purchase online through social media as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter or Path. The results of this study indicate that arousal, challenge and time distortion have positive effect on hedonic online shopping experience, whereas telepresence haven’t significant effect. Importance, interactivity and skill positively influence utilitarian online shopping experience, while the control has no effect. Utilitarian shopping experience influence satisfaction, whereas no significant effect on hedonic shopping experience. Satisfaction positively influence repurchase intention in social commerce.
