Abstract

Pengembangan manusia Indonesia seutuhnya melalui pendidikan mencakup: (1) pribadi   yang   seimbang,   berkembang   sepenuhnya,   (2)   menjadi   diri   sendiri;   (3) pembinaan   hubungan   pribadi   dengan   masyarakatnya;   (4)   dengan   bangsa   dan negaranya;   dan   (5)   pembinaan   pribadi   dengan   Tuhan   Yang   Maha   Esa. Pembentukan   pribadi   terdiri   dan   pendidikan keagamaan,   kesusilaa,   kecerdasan, dan   keindahan   (estetik).   Pendidikan   seni   musik   mengandung   dua   sisi:   (1) berhubungan   dengan   penyelenggaraan   pendidikan   untuk   menumbuhkan   seni musik   itu   sendiri;   dan   (2)   berkenaan   dengan   pendidikan   (formal,   non­formal, informal) untuk umum agar memiliki kesadaran dan apresiasi terhadap seni musik agar benar­benar diwadahi oleh masyarakatnyaKata Kunci: pengembangan; pribadi; masyarakat; pendidikan musik; sekolah
Creativity of Virtual Dance Competition of “Beksan Nir Corona” in The Kraton of Yogyakarta

Abstract

The objectives of this study are to: (1) describe and analyze the arrangement tutorial of Beksan Nir Corona on a virtual dance competition in the Kraton of Yogyakarta; and (2) describe and analyze the level of similarity in imitation of movement patterns and creativity in the presentation of the participants in the dance competition of Beksan Nir Corona. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative supported by percentage descriptive quantitative data. The data collection process was carried out using observation, interview, and document techniques. Data analysis was carried out by the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The research results show that the virtual dance tutorial of Beksan Nir Corona as a competition guide contains a recording of a dance model, which is a stylization of five steps of washing hands into a simple variety of movements in the classical dance of Yogyakarta style. Judges’ assessment results through dance performance videos uploaded by 196 participants showed that: (1) the ability of participants to imitate all movement patterns according to the dance material of Beksan Nir Corona reached 85%; (2) the ability of participants to be creative which is manifested in the ability to express ideas only reached 60%; and (3) the remaining 40% of participants only danced the dance of Beksan Nir Corona by imitating the movement patterns that had been exemplified. The average ability to imitate the movement patterns of the dance of Beksan Nir Corona based on the assessment of the six judges is 85.5. In contrast, the creative ability in dance presentation is 70.5.

Abstract

This study is aiming at finding out the audiation model of salendro musical scale and teaching it to the non-Sundanese learners. Treatment done to the learners whose hearing sensitivity has not been familiar with salendro tone during the audiation practice. A method implemented in the study was grounded theory. It was used to explore initial audiation theory from Edwin E. Gordon in Syntax Learning Sequence in Music that was adjusted with learning stages of salendro tone. This study resulted in an audiation model of salendro tone to sharpen hearing sensitivity of non-Sundanese learners who had not been familiar with salendro tone.

Abstract

Masalah dalam penelitian adalah belum adanya model pengembangan media audio untuk melatih pencapaian perkembangan bermain musik di Kelompok Bermain. Berdasarkan masalah yang ada maka rumusan masalah penelitian yaitu bagaimanakah model pengembangan media audio yang dapat melatih pencapaian perkembangan bermain musik anak usia Kelompok Bermain. Tujuan pengembangan ini adalah untuk mengetahui model pengembangan media audio yang dapat melatih pencapaian perkembangan bermain musik anak usia Kelompok Bermain. Model pengembangan produk media dikhususkan untuk menentukan langkah-langkah maupun jenis kegiatan dari analisis kebutuhan, desain, pengembangan, evaluasi, dan implementasi produk penelitian ini. The problem dealt with in this research is the absence of audio media development model used to elicit children’s musical aptitude in a play group. Accordingly, the problem formulated in this research is how the development model of audio media could improve children’s musical aptitude. The goal of this research is to find out how the development model of audio media could improve the children’s musical aptitude. This model is specified to determine stages as well as kinds of activities in terms of need analysis, design, aptitude development, evaluation, and implementation of the research product.

Abstract

Keberadaan wayang dianggap sebagai mitologi keagamaan yang bersifat universal bagi orang Jawa (Laksono 1985: 22). Setiap lakon wayang selalu mengandung sekumpulan simbol untuk membentuk sebuah kesatuan makna. Demikian halnya dengan Lakon Parta Krama. Menurut pandangan Levi-Straus tentang mitos, lakon wayang dapat dianggap sebagai sebuah teks yang terdiri dari kesatuan simbol yang menampilkan (mengartikulasikan) berbagai tokoh dan gerak untuk mengekspresikan, mengejawantahkan pemikiran masyarakat Jawa (Bandingkan dengan Ahimsa 2001: 31-32). Makna masing-masing simbol dalam lakon wayang dapat dilacak melalui sudut pandang mitologi ritual (Hiltebeitel 1990:360) dengan menggunakan konsep asma kinaryajapa (Aris Wahyudi 2001: 205). Simbol-simbol pembentuk kesatuan makna Lakon Parta Krama merupakan transformasi aspek-aspek rajawi dari tataran mitologi dalam pandangan tradisi Mah Sbh Srata dan Hindu. Penyatuan aspek rajawi merupakan usaha masyarakat Jawa untuk mengukuhkan kedudukan Abimanyu (anak yang lahir dari perkawinan Arjuna dan Dewi Wara Sembadra dalam Lakon Parta Krama) sebagai wiji ratu tanah Jawa. Slawatan Angguk Rame merupakan kesenian rakyat yang bertemakan keIslaman. Kesenian rakyat merupakan seni bagi komunitas pedesaan. Slawatanmuncul di tengah masyarakat, berfungsi untuk mengikat solidaritaspendukungnya. Keterkaitan kesenian rakyat Slawatan Angguk Rame denganhidup dan kehidupan masyarakat terjelma melalui kebudayaan. Sifat-sifatbersahaja, spontan, responsif dan sederhana, sebagai cermin dari sebagian sifatmasyarakat pedesaan, terjelma dalam Slawatan Angguk Rame.Kata kunci : kesenian rakyat, kislaman, solidaritas.

Abstract

Dangdut merupakan salah satu jenis musik yang kemungkinan besarpenamaannya diduga diambil dari peniruan bunyi sepasang kendang yangdimainkan secara khusus dalam musik ini, sungguhpun dalam pekembanganselanjutnya keberadaan alat ini tidak mutlak ada dalam setiappenyajiannya. Sebagai salah satu musik yang sampai saat ini masih tetapeksis dan berkembang di tengah pencintanya dan musik jenis lainnya,secara kontekstual keberadaan musik ini setidaknya memberikan fungsisebagai hiburan bagi masyarakat pendukungnya, sementara secara tekstual,musik ini mampu beradaptasi dan berkembang seiring denganperkembangan musik lain yang ada sehingga dalam perkembangannyalahir warna-warna baru seperti disco dangdut, reggae dangdut, dangdutrock, dangdut jaipong dan lain sebagainya juga memiliki kedudukan yangsama dengan musik lain.Kata Kunci: Musik dangdut,perkembangan,fungsi,keberadaan

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to discuss a festival model which promotes innovative performing arts in Indonesia. This qualitative approach used a project-based research method. The procedure of this research began with diagnosing the problems, making plan to conduct the festival in Bandung, conducting the festival, and evaluation. Data were collected by participation observation, interview, study of documentation, focused group discussion, and personal reflection. The findings of this research showed that Bandung Isola Performing Arts Festival (BIPAF) is a festival model as a form of market for innovative performing arts. The activities of BIPAF began with selecting/curating the performing artworks, holding art incubation, making promotion, show casing and pitching, as well as discussion and evaluation. BIPAF organizer designed a meeting within choreographers/producers and festival directors, curators and promotors of performing arts in Villa Isola outdoor stage in Universiatas Pendididkan Indonesia. This meeting was followed up by performing some pieces from BIPAF in the stage of SIPA and IMF Surakarta, and Korean Festival in South Korea. This festival contains a strategy value to develop creative industry sub sector of performing arts in Indonesia.

Abstract

This paper examines the process of seeding or training of Sundanese Song Cianjuran by artists in Sumedang regency that is conducted by a stakeholder of Sundanese traditional arts. The study was conducted using descriptive analytic methods, and data collection was done through observation and interviews. Results from the study explained that stakeholder participation was vital and influential towards the existence of Sundanese Song Cianjuran, especially in growing cultural awareness and in generating candidates for local traditional artists.How to Cite: Julia.
