Abstract

Implementasi kurikulum 2013 sangat menonjolkan pendekatan saintifik dengan pembelajaran yang berpusat pada peserta didik. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengembangkan rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran materi pertumbuhan yang menerapkan pendekatan saintifik, penanaman karakter dan konservasi serta menjelaskan pengaruh pendekatan ini terhadap hasil belajar. Metode penelitiannya adalah pre-experimental design dengan desain penelitian one-shotcase study. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi dan tes tertulis. Penelitian ini menghasilkan RPP berbasis pendekatan saintifik dan penanaman karakter. Penerapan pendekatan ini berpengaruh positif terhadap hasil belajar kognitif, afektif dan psikomotorik serta telah mencapai ketuntasan klasikal yang ditetapkan. The implementation of 2013 curriculum highly recommends scientific approach in which learning is centered to student. The  research aims to develop a lesson plan in growth material to characterize a scientific learning, character building and concervation effort, as well as explaining the effect of this approach on learning outcomes. The design of research used pre-experimental design with one-shotcase study and the technique of collecting data used observation and written tests. This research resulted the lesson plan based scientific approaches and character building. The application of this approach gave positive influence to cognitive, affective and psychomotor and it had already achieved the classical mastery.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan metode pembelajaran dengan TGT dan STAD terhadap prestasi belajar biologi ditinjau dari keingintahuan dan minat belajar siswa. Hasil analisis diperoleh (1) ada pengaruh penggunaan metode pembelajaran dengan TGT dan STAD terhadap prestasi belajar Biologi, (2) ada pengaruh minat belajar tinggi dan rendah terhadap prestasi belajar Biologi, (3) pengaruh keingintahuan belajar tinggi dan rendah terhadap prestasi belajar Biologi, (4) terdapat interaksi antara metode pembelajaran dengan keingintahuan belajar tinggi dan rendah terhadap prestasi belajar Biologi, (5) tidak terdapat interaksi antara metode pembelajaran dengan minat belajar tinggi dan rendah terhadap prestasi belajar Biologi, (6) tidak terdapat interaksi antara minat belajar tinggi dan rendah, keingintahuan tinggi dan rendah terhadap prestai belajar Biologi, (7) terdapat interaksi antara metode pembelajaran, keingintahuan tinggi dan rendah, minat belajar tinggi dan rendah terhadap prestasi belajar Biologi. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect the use of learning methods with TGT and STAD on biology achievement in terms of students’ curiosity and interest in learning. Analysis results obtained (1) There was effect of the use of learning methods with TGT and STAD on Biology learning achievement, (2) There was effect of high and low interest in studying on the Biology learning achievement, (3) study the effect of high and low curiosity on Biology learning achievement, (4) there was interaction between learning method with curiosity to learn high and low on the Biology learning achievement, (5) there was no interaction between learning method with high and low interest in learning to Biology learning achievement, (6) there was no interaction between high and low interest in learning, high and low curiosity to Biology learning achievement, (7) there was interaction between learning method, high and low curiosity, high and low interest in learning to Biology learning achievement, (6) there was no interaction between high and low interest in learning, high and low curiosity to Biology learning achievement.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of science learning website oriented by cultural deviance solution (CDS) based on  inquiry to grow students’ character and independence on the learning material theme of Classification. This research design is Posttest Only Control Design by using Cluster Random Sampling technique to draw the sample. Based on the results of data analysis,  it can be concluded that the website was effective to be used to instill students’ character and independence.

Abstract

Tujuan penerapan hypnoteaching melalui neuro linguistic programming (NLP) dalam proses pembelajaran kimia adalah untuk menghilangkan pikiran negatif siswa terhadap pembelajaran kimia, yang selanjutnya meningkatkan minat, motivasi dan keaktifan belajar kimia siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan siswa lebih terbuka, berani mengemukakan pendapat terhadap permasalahan kimia yang pelajari, siswa merasa fresh, dan nyaman. Hypnoteaching goals through the application of neuro linguistic programming (NLP) is a chemical in the learning process to eliminate the negative thoughts of students towards learning chemistry, which further increase the interest, motivation and active learning chemistry students. Results showed students were more open, daring to express opinions on issues studied chemistry, students feel fresh, and comfortable.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui pengaruh permainan call cards terhadap hasil belajar dan aktivitas pembelajaran. Aktivitas pembelajaran yang diukur meliputi aktivitas individual siswa dan kinerja guru. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimental. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media permainan call cards berkontribusi sebesar 46% terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Hasil belajar siswa yang diberi media permainan call cards lebih baik daripada hasil belajar siswa yang tidak diberi mediapermainan call cards. Dengan demikian, media permainan call cards dapat menjadi alternatif dalam pencapaian hasil belajar biologi yang lebih baik.   Research purposes to determine the effect of call cards game against learning outcomes and learning activities. Learning activities that were measured included the activity of individual student and teacher performance. This research was experimental. The results showed that the media play call cards account for 46% of the student learning outcomes. Learning outcomes of students who were given media cards call the game better than the learning outcomes of students who were not given mediapermainan call cards. Thus, the media play call cards can be an alternative in achieving the learning outcomes of biology better.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaran problem based learning berorientasi green chemistry pada materi hidrolisis garam untuk mengembangkan soft skill konservasi siswa SMA. Metode penelitian ini adalah research and development (R&D). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan LKS yang dikembangkan sangat layak untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran kimia. Perangkat pembelajaran dapat meningkatkan pemahaman konsep siswa materi hidrolisis garam dengan N-gain sebesar 0,63 (sedang). Peningkatan soft skill konservasi siswa yang berkriteria tinggi sebanyak 35,48 % sedangkan yang berkriteria sedang 64,52 %. This research has aim to developt teaching and learning instrument application on problem based learning which oriented on green chemistry on salt hydrolisys for developing conservation soft skill for student. The method of this research is research and development (R&D). The results showed a very worthy worksheets developed for use in teaching chemistry. Teaching instrument can improve the understanding of student concept of salt hydrolysis matery can get N-gain 0,63 (medium). The improving soft skill of student conservation has high criteria 35,48%. For medium has 64,52%.

Abstract

This study aimed to explore the prospective teachers’ critical thinking and critical analysis skills based on gender. This is a descriptive quantitative study with survey methods. The research samples were 50 males and 50 females who take the anatomy and plant development courses selected using purposive random sampling. The data of prospective teachers’ critical thinking and critical analysis skills were collected using the instrument developed that was validated by two experts and tested on 20 biology education students. The data of prospective teachers’ critical thinking and critical analysis skills were analyzed descriptively and statistically using a software (IBM SPSS Statistic 23). The results of the study show that (1) the prospective teachers’ critical thinking and critical analysis skills as underdeveloped; (2) critical thinking skills differ in the components of interpretation, explanation, and self-regulation; (3) critical analysis skills differ on the explanation and interpretations; and (4) there is a positive correlation between prospective teachers’ critical thinking and critical analysis skills. Based on the result of the study, serious and planned handling can be done through important learning. The results of this study can be an initial reference and priority determination of lecturers in teaching prospective teachers’ critical thinking and critical analysis skills based on gender.

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengembangkan model analisis evaluasi diri laboratorium dan mengukur kemampuan mahasiswa dalam merancang pengembangan laboratorium setelah menerapkan model yang dikembangkan. Metode yang digunakan penelitian dan pengembangan. Sesuai hasil penelitian maka dapat disimpulkan model yang dikembangkan mendapatkan penilaian layak dan efektif diterapkan dalam perkuliahan pengelolaan dan teknik laboratorium IPA. The research aims to develop a model of self-evaluation laboratory analysis and measure student ability in designing development laboratory after applying the developed model. The method used research and development. According to the results of research it can be concluded that the model was developed to get a decent assessment and effective management applied in the lecture and laboratory techniques Science.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian adalah menentukan pemahaman konsep mahasiswa serta menggali kesulitan dan pandangan mahasiswa selama mengikuti perkuliahan Dasar-dasar Kimia Analitik (DKA). Pandangan mahasiswa terhadap perkuliahan DKA menyatakan penjelasan dosen kurang terlalu cepat (25,81%); dosen menggunakan metode diskusi informasi dan latihan soal dalam perkuliahan (87,16%); praktikum dilakukan untuk memverifikasi teori (87,10%); dan fasilitas laboritorium cukup memadai (80,65%). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian perlu dilakukan pengembangan program perkuliahan untuk memfasilitasi kemampuan problem solving sehingga dapat memperbaiki pemahaman konsep.The purposes of this research are to define the students’ conceptual understanding and to find out their difficulty and opinion of Analytic Basic Chemistry-Problem Solving Based lecturing. Students opinion tell that the lecturer speaks fast in explaining the material (25,81%); the lecturer uses discussion-information method and gives exercise (87,16%); the lecturer uses practicum to verify the theory (87,10%); and the laboratory facility is quite satisfactory (80,65%). Based on the research it can be suggested to develop the lecture program to facilitate the problem solving ability to fix the conceptual understanding.

Abstract

Science learning in school can be applied by connecting the material in the learning with real life. However in fact science learning process in SMP Negeri 10 Magelang has not emphasized students’ activity to relate science to real life. Learning science using CTL guided inquiry-based model implement the learning in where teacher provides initial questions related issues or events in everyday life, then students do experiments to prove concepts of science guided by teacher.The purpose of this research is to determine the effectiveness the model in topic of learning of chemicals in life to improve students’ learning outcomes and activity. This research was a quasi-experimental research. The research was conducted in SMP Negeri 10 Magelang with 8th grade students as research subjects. The sample in this study was taken using purposive sampling technique then resulting VIIIA as experiment group and VIIIC as control group. The result shows that experiment group’s learning outcomes increased with N-gain value of 0.62 in the medium criteria. Experiment group’s average of learning outcomes is higher than control group based on the calculation t test with tcount ? ttable (5.42 ? 1.67). Experiment group’s activity also increased every meeting, first meeting was 36.9% in less active criteria, the second meeting increased to be quite active of 60.5%, the third meeting was in the active criteria of 78.2%, and the fourth meeting was 81.4% in very active criteria. It can be concluded that the CTL guided inquiry-based model is effective to improve students’ learning outcomes and activity.
