Dinamika Pendidikan (p-ISSN 1907-3720, e-ISSN 2502-5074) is a scientific periodical published by the Department of Economics Education, Faculty of Economics, Universitas Negeri Semarang collaborate with Asosiasi Profesi Pendidik Ekonomi Indonesia (ASPROPENDO), Asosiasi Profesi Pendidikan Akuntansi Indonesia (APRODIKSI), Asosiasi Sarjana dan Praktisi Administrasi Perkantoran Indonesia (ASPAPI) with the aim to promote creativity scholarly or academic lecturers from various institutions in general and the community UNNES internal academic specifically. The article published scientific literature contains research results, conceptually as well as reviews of books in the field of economic education, accounting education, and educational administration offices. First published in 2006, published in a year, June and December. Dinamika Pendidikan has become a CrossRef member with DOI prefix: 10.15294. Therefore, all articles published by the journal have unique DOI number. The journal has been also accredited for five years based on The Decree of Directorate General of Research and Development Strengthening, Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia No. 48a/E/KPT/2017, dated on October 30th, 2017.

Abstract

This research aims to know the descriptive of input, environment, and outcome; analyze the influence of input to outcome; analyze the influence of environment to outcome; analyze the influence of input to environement; and analyze the role of environment in mediating the influence of input to outcome. Student previous achievement consisting of Mathematics and Indonesian National Exam at Junior High School is the educational input. Student engagement consisting of school engagement and class engagement is the educational environment and student accounting competence is the educational outcome. This research was a quantitative research. Data analysis used descriptive and path analysis technique. The total population and sample consists of 128 students of first class accounting. The results and conclusions in this study indicate that accounting competence is still good, student engagement is good, and student previous achievement is very good. There are influences of mathematics National Exam, Indonesian National Exam, school engagement, and class engagement on student accounting competence; there are influences of Mathematics and the Indonesian National Exam on school engagement and class engagement. School engagement mediates the influence of mathematics National Exam on accounting competence, but it does not mediate the influence of the Indonesian National Exam on accounting competence. Then, class engagement mediates the influences of the mathematics and Indonesian National Exam on accounting competencies.

Abstract

This research aims to prove: 1) the differences of students’ readiness in choosing a career in students in schools that apply KTSP curriculum with students in schools that apply kurikulum 2013; 2) the differences of the influences of supporting family environment with unsupporting family environment for students’ career choosing; 3) the influence of curriculum that receives family support for students’ career choices. The samples of the study were 355 students from 12 schools in Depok. Data analysis tool used two way anova with interaction. The prerequisite test used normality test and homogenity test. The result of the research shows that: 1) there is no significant difference of curriculum used in school to the students’ career choice readiness, 2) there are significant differences between students who have supporting family environment with students who have less supporting family environment to students’ career choice readiness, 3) there is a significant difference when schools with curriculum work together with family environments to support students in choosing their careers.

Abstract

This research aims to develop a competency-based supervision model as a strategy to address the quality of education issues in Madrasah Tsanawiyah. The specific objective of this research is to identify various aspects that need to be prepared in supervision development, designing and piloting the model and analyzing the effectiveness of the competency-based supervision model by the principal of madrasah in teacher’s professionalism improvement. The research method used Research and Development (R&D) with the following stages: research and information gathering, planning, product development, testing, and final product improvement stage. The supervision activities consist of three activities, namely planning, implementation and supervision follow-up. The supervision planning activity is technical guidance planning. The planning is centered on the principal as a supervisor and teacher involvement as the supervision object. The supervision implementation is held twice every semester towards teacher and learning by using directive model. The supervision follow-up activities are learning improvements. The overall supervision implementation has gone well with the score of 83.3. Most of the Madrasahs have conducted scheduled and periodic supervision. The development of supervision modell that emphasizes the Madrasah Tsanawiyah principal’s competence strengthening is done by developing the focus and objectives of the supervision, not only in the academic aspect, but also the managerial aspect and the human resources improvement through the implementation of collaborative management.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of using instagram social media and hedonic shopping motives to impulse buying media and to know whether financial literacy is able to moderate the influence of instagram social media use and hedonic shopping motives to impulse buying. This type of research is quantitative research. The population of this research was students of Accounting Economics Education Study Program of Economics Faculty of Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES). The research sample was 110 students of class of 2013 which chosen by using purposive sampling technique. The data was analyzed by using descriptive statistic, simple regression analysis, and interaction test (moderation). The result of the research shows that instagram social media usage and hedonic shopping motives have positive and significant effect to students’ impulse buying. The result of regression analysis shows that financial literacy has negative and significant effect on impulse buying. Thus, financial literacy can moderate the influence of instagram social media usage to impulse buying. However, the other regressive result indicates that financial literacy is not able to moderate the influence of hedonic shopping motives on impulse buying.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the application of Think Pair Share (TPS) learning method in improving learning motivation and learning achievement in the subject of Introduction to Accounting I of the Accounting Study Program students of Politeknik Harapan Bersama. The Method of data collection in this study used observation method, test method, and documentation method. The research instruments used observation sheet, questionnaire and test question. This research used Class Action Research Design which is an action implementation oriented research, with the aim of improving quality or problem solving in a group by carefully and observing the success rate due to the action. The method of analysis used descriptive qualitative and quantitative analysis method. The results showed that the application of Think Pair Share Learning (TPS) Method can improve the Learning Motivation and Achievement. Before the implementation of the action, the obtained score is 67% then in the first cycle increases to 72%, and in the second cycle increasws to 80%. In addition, based on questionnaires distributed to students, it also increases the score of Accounting Learning Motivation where the score in the first cycle of 76% increases to 79%. In addition, in the first cycle, the score of pre test and post test of the students has increased from 68.86 to 76.71 while in the second cycle the score of pre test and post test of students has increased from 79.86 to 84.86.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of both partial and simultaneous motivation, creativity, and confidence of students in studying to economic subject learning autonomy of the students of Senior High School 4 Tegal. The population in this study was the whole class X Social Education Science which consists of 126 students. The data collection in this research was taken through several methods, whicha are observation, questionnaire, and documentation. The result of this study shows that 77.7% of learning motivation, learning creativity, and self-confidence simultaneously affect the learning autonomy of economics subject of Senior High School 4 Tegal. The results of this study are expected to enable teachers to foster learning motivation, learning creativity and self-confidence of the students in order to form the character of independence. Students are expected to not only rely on the subject matter given by the teachers, but they must be more active and independent in learning to expand a broad insight about economy.

Abstract

This research aims to know the development of critical thinking-based contextual video media on the subject matter of economic issues and how to overcome it, and to find out the feasibility of critical thinking-based contextual video media and student's response towards the critical thinking-based contextual video media. The implementation of curriculum 2013 cannot be separated from the government's expectation that learners have good soft skills.The desired skills are 21st century skills known as 4C: creative, critical thinking, communicative and collaborative. These skills emphasize the soft skills implemented in daily life, learners understand the importance of these skills. The existence of contextual video helps to simplify the process; learners are brought into real life. The learning is more implementative. Critical thinking is the basis of video, the video making process is made in such a way so that the learners understand the material by temselves from analyzing every plot of video. The video material is about economic issues and how to overcome them. This research was Research and Development (R&D). The development cycle used Thiagarajan, Semmel and Semmel’s model or 4-P model that are defining, designing, developing, and deploying. However, this study was only up to the stage of development. The place of this study was in Vocational High School Muhammadiyah 1 Babat. The result of the research stated that based on media feasibility test from the material expert, it is very feasible with the percentage of 80,44% and the media learning expert assessed very well with the percentage of 88,82%. And the result of class X students’ response to media is very good with the percentage 83, 64%. So it is concluded that contentxtual video media is feasible to be used as a learning media.

Abstract

This study aims to develop the interactive e-book multimedia model to improve the students' critical thinking ability (KBK). Critical thinking is very important to develop because it provides a high level of reasoning thinking that provides permanent experience to students through conscious and controlled decision making in a rational, reflective, responsible manner with the optimization of potential. Flash-based e-book media is capable of interactively loading videos, pictures, practice questions and learning with directed directions from the teacher. The research method developed is research and development. The output products are learning plan, KBK evaluation question, flash-based interactive e-book multimedia, and quasi experiment to see media effectiveness to KBK. The results showed that e-book multimedia is able to significantly increase the KBK of high school students in economic learning.

Abstract

This research aims to develop financial accounting learning tools namely; development of lesson plan, handouts, and learning media. The object of this research was the 11th grade students of accounting study program in Muhammadiyah 03 High Vocational School Singosari. The model of learning device development used Gall and Borg model. The stages were 1) Initial Needs Analysis; 2) Initial Product Developing; 3) Validation; 4) Product Revision I; 5) Limited Field Trial; 6) Product Revision II; 7) Field Trial; and 8) Final Product. The result of the research shows that the learning tools on financial accounting subject are valid/proper to be used. It is  proven by the score of material expert judgment that is 82.8%, by the media expert that is 98.6%, by the education expert that is 86%, by the limited field trial (students and teachers ) that are 87.7% and 80.7%, and by Field trials that is 80.2%. In field trials, the development of learning tools can improve student learning outcomes. There are only 3 students who got their grades below the minimum mastery standard.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of creativity and learning innovation on entrepreneurial mentality and its implications on student learning outcomes. The research was carried out in the Economic Education Program of Universitas Pasundan Bandung with 43 students as the sample of the research. The research method used descriptive quantitative method with path analysis. The results of this study are: 1) Creativity variable is in good category, with an average score of 4.06; 2) Learning innovation variable is in good category, with the score of 4,17; 3) Entrepreneurial mental variable is in good category, with an average score of 4,14; 4) Student learning outcome variables are good, with an average score of 3.94; 5) There is influence of creativity (X1) to entrepreneurial mentality (Y) with total influence of 32,8%. Learning innovation (X2) to entrepreneurial mentality (y) with total influence of 30,47%. There is an influence of creativity (X1), and learning innovation (X2), simultaneously to entrepreneurial mentality (Y) with total influence of 63,3%; 6) There is an entrepreneurial mental effect (Y) on student learning outcomes (Z) of 67.7%. It can be concluded that there are influences between creativity and learning innovation towards entrepreneurship mentality and its implication for the student learning outcomes.
