Dinamika Pendidikan (p-ISSN 1907-3720, e-ISSN 2502-5074) is a scientific periodical published by the Department of Economics Education, Faculty of Economics, Universitas Negeri Semarang collaborate with Asosiasi Profesi Pendidik Ekonomi Indonesia (ASPROPENDO), Asosiasi Profesi Pendidikan Akuntansi Indonesia (APRODIKSI), Asosiasi Sarjana dan Praktisi Administrasi Perkantoran Indonesia (ASPAPI) with the aim to promote creativity scholarly or academic lecturers from various institutions in general and the community UNNES internal academic specifically. The article published scientific literature contains research results, conceptually as well as reviews of books in the field of economic education, accounting education, and educational administration offices. First published in 2006, published in a year, June and December. Dinamika Pendidikan has become a CrossRef member with DOI prefix: 10.15294. Therefore, all articles published by the journal have unique DOI number. The journal has been also accredited for five years based on The Decree of Directorate General of Research and Development Strengthening, Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia No. 48a/E/KPT/2017, dated on October 30th, 2017.

Abstract

The objectives of the study were to understand (1) students’ understanding about character education after joining the class of teaching-learning strategy of character Accounting, (2) the characters of education students after joining the class of character Accounting. It was a class action research and the respondents were 53 Accounting Education students in the 5th semester. The study was done in 2 cycles. The data were collected by tests and observation and were analyzed by percentage descriptive. The result of study showed that: 1) Students’ understandings of character education increased 27% in the 1st cycle and 39% in the 2nd cycle. 2) The character average of education students was 82.2% in good category.

Abstract

Kemajuan suatu bangsa sangat ditentukan oleh kualitas sumber daya manusianya. Kualitas sumber daya manusia tergantung pada kualitas pendidikan. Peran pendidikan sangat penting untuk menciptakan masyarakat yang cerdas, terbuka dan demokratis. Tujuan dari Pendidikan Nasional adalah mencerdaskan kehidupan bangsa dan mengembangkan manusia Indonesia seutuhnya yaitu manusia yang beriman dan bertaqwa kepada kepada Tuhan Yang Maha Esa dan berbudi pekerti luhur, memiliki pengetahuan dan keterampilan, kesehatan jasmani dan rohani, kepribadian yang mantap dan mandiri serta memiliki rasa tanggungjawab kemasyarakatan dan kebangsaan. Dalam rangka membantu peserta didik guna mengikuti perkembangan iptek dan menjawab tantangan di masa depan, Kurikulum Berbasis Kompetensi (KBK) telah dikeluarkan oleh Departemen Pendidikan Nasional sebagai upaya untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan. Pelaksanaan KBK menuntut guru untuk lebih inovatif dalam proses pembelajaran siswa, pembelajaran tidak lagi berpusat pada guru akan tetapi berpusat pada siswa. Seperti halnya dalam pembelajaran ekonomi di SMK siswa tidak lagi menjadi pihak yang pasif menerima materi tetapi aktif dalam PBM. Sehingga siswa tidak hanya paham terhadap materi pelajaran akan tetapi juga dapat menghubungkannya dengan kondisi  yang ada di masyarakat. Untuk itu  pengembangan Emotional Intelligence (EI) dalam pembelajaran ekonomi di SMK dapat dijadikan sebagai suatu alternatif dalam proses pembelajaran untuk mempersiapkan siswa dalam menghadapi tantangan kerja di masa depan. Pengembangan Emotional Intelligence diperlukan supaya siswa memiliki kecakapan hidup (life skill). Kata kunci : emotional intelligence, peserta didik, life skill

Abstract

Globalisasi memberikan tantangan sekaligus peluang dalam dunia pendidikan. Tantangan dalam dunia pendidikan adalah peningkatan kualitas SDM. Untuk meningkatkan mutu SDM harus diawali dengan peningkatan mutu sekolah. Perilaku kepemimpinan kepala sekolah sangat berpengaruh terhadap mutu sekolah. Gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah di SMK non teknik yang sangat konservatif selama ini menjadikan guru tidak aspiratif dan sangat menghambat bagi upaya peningkatan mutu sekolah. Tantangan peningkatan mutu sekolah menghendaki adanya perubahan dalam perspektif manajerial yaitu bagaimana membangun sebuah pemikiran dan menerjemahkannya ke tingkat praktis gaya kepemimpinan pendidikan transaksional dan gaya kepemimpinan pendidikan transformasional.   Kata kunci: kepemimpinan pendidikan transaksional, kepemimpinan pendidikan transformasional

Abstract

The objective of this study is to evaluate the class assessment from many aspects; aspect and technique of class assessment, procedure of class assessment, they way to determine the students’ score rank, and the opinions of teachers, the principal, students about the practice of class assessment. The research is an evaluation research with a formative model. The subjects of this study were 3 teachers, 1 principal and 146 students of Office administration department. The data were collected with questionnaire, documentation and interview. The result showed that (1) aspect and technique of class assessment conducted by the teacher, based on students’ opinion was on poor category, based on the teachers’ opinion was on good category and based on the principal’s opinion was on very good category. Therefore, it was on good category, (2) assessment aspects conducted by the teachers were only cognitive and psychometric aspects; while affective aspect has not conducted yet. Thus, it was not comprehensive assessment, (3)the techniques of assessment used by the teachers were written test, oral test, practice, observation and task, however, portfolio assessment, journal, self-assessment and peer- assessment have not conducted yet in this subject, (4) the procedure of assessment based on students was poor, meanwhile the teachers and principal said it was good. (5) procedure of assessment conducted by the teachers did not fulfill the standard as stated in Panduan Penilaian Mata Pelajaran Produktif (The Assessment Guidance of Productive Subject) by Badan Standar Nasional Pendidikan (BSNP), (6) determining students’ end score is by combining students’ daily test, mid test, midterm test and final test and then divided into three, while all tasks are only the supporting score, and (7) the principal, the teachers and students expect the class assessment in still conducted since it gives benefit and improve students’ development significantly in education world.

Abstract

This research aims to determine whether there is an increased of demand function counting and demand curve drawing using drill method and think pair share. It was a classroom action research that used drill and think pair share learning methods. The subjects of the research were students at class X IPS 4 in Senior High School 11 Semarang. Data were analyzed by using the simple descriptive statistics analysis with the mean of the evaluation result. Findings show that the mean of drill and think pair share learning methods in Class X IPS 4 Senior High School Negeri 11 Semarang was 72.94 and 76.10 at the pre-cycle. The study completeness was only by 13 students (39%). After conducting the first cycle, there was an improvement for 78.06 and 89.04. The study completeness was 18 students (55%). In the second cycle, students’ learning outcomes increased up to 95.76 and 99.29 with learning completeness was 33 students (100%).

Abstract

Office layout is a method to formulate spatial, tools, layout, and their physical environment that aims to provide a means for teachers and internal communications are an important means to unify the direction and the views and thoughts among teachers and between teachers with the Head of School, so create cohesion in the work. This research aims: 1) to determine whether there is any spatial effect on the effectiveness of teachers 'work; 2) to determine whether there is an internal communication influence the effectiveness of teachers' work; 3) to know how big influence of spatial planning and internal communication on the effectiveness of working collectively same. The population that became the subject of this study was the teacher of SMK Negeri 9 Semarang all 44 people who made the research sample because this study represents a population study. In this study, the independent variables are spatial and internal communications, while the dependent variable is the employment effectiveness of teachers. Data collection was performed using a questionnaire technique, documentation and observation. Data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis percentages, multiple regression analysis, simultaneous test, partial test, coefficient of determination and classical assumption. Based on the results of regression analysis obtained F value of 13.357 with a probability of 0.000 0.05, which means that there is significant influence between spatial planning and internal communication on the effectiveness of teacher working SMK Negeri 9 Semarang. The amount of influence between spatial planning and internal communication on the effectiveness of teacher working SMK Negeri 9 for 39.5% of Semarang. Based on this research, the authors suggest that: in drafting desk should be more loose and in placing the furniture and other equipment should be to take advantage of the space available, so the staff room and classrooms and teachers more impressed with a neat move freely when doing academic activities; head schools should pay more attention to another teacher performance by giving instructions clearly did not even hesitate to reprimand if proven negligent in completing the job, as an effort to improve the quality of education, school principals should be willing to open ourselves to receive all complaints, ideas, or ideas from teachers.

Abstract

Kurikulum 2004 yang berorientasi pada kompetensi, mensyaratkan agar peserta didik menguasai dan mengembangkan kemampuan yang diperoleh selama proses pengajaran. Sebagai suatu institusi pendidikan, sekolah menengah kejuruan (SMK) yang menitikberatkan pada pembelajaran yang bersifat praktis terfokus dalam membekali peserta didiknya dengan ketrampilan-ketrampilan yang dibutuhkan oleh pasar (dunia usaha dan industri). Karena tujuan utama dari sekolah menengah kejuruan (SMK) adalah menyiapkan lulusannya agar siap memasuki dunia kerja. Penggunaan media pembelajaran dalam kegiatan pembelajaran di sekolah menengah kejuruan (SMK) jurusan perkantoran terutama dalam mata diklat manajemen perkantoran tidak terlepas dengan teknologi informasi yaitu computer dan internet. Dengan penggunaan teknologi informasi maka dapat tercipta pembelajaran yang interaktif. Implementasi penggunaan media pembelajaran mata diklat manajemen perkantoran yang berbasis teknologi informasi di SMK jurusan perkantoran menemui hambatan. Hambatan tersebut berupa dana, sumber daya manusia, dan tidak adanya jaringan. Kata Kunci : kurikulum berbasis kompetensi, manajemen perkantoran, teknologi informasi

Abstract

This research aims to prove: 1) the differences of students’ readiness in choosing a career in students in schools that apply KTSP curriculum with students in schools that apply kurikulum 2013; 2) the differences of the influences of supporting family environment with unsupporting family environment for students’ career choosing; 3) the influence of curriculum that receives family support for students’ career choices. The samples of the study were 355 students from 12 schools in Depok. Data analysis tool used two way anova with interaction. The prerequisite test used normality test and homogenity test. The result of the research shows that: 1) there is no significant difference of curriculum used in school to the students’ career choice readiness, 2) there are significant differences between students who have supporting family environment with students who have less supporting family environment to students’ career choice readiness, 3) there is a significant difference when schools with curriculum work together with family environments to support students in choosing their careers.

Abstract

Profesi kependidikan, khususnya profesi guru tugas utamanya adalah melayani masyarakat dalam dunia pendidikan. Sejalan dengan hal tersebut profesionalisasi dalam bidang keguruan mengandung arti peningkatan segala daya dan usaha dalam rangka pencapaian secara optimal layanan yang akan diberikan kepada masyarakat. Oleh karena itu standarisasi kompetensi guru ditetapkan bagi seorang guru dalam menguasai seperangkat kemampuan agar layak menduduki jabatan guru, sesuai bidang tugas dan jenjang pendidikannya. Salah satu kompetensi yang harus dimiliki seorang guru adalah kompetensi personal, yaitu kompetensi nilai yang dibangun melalui perilaku yang dilakukan guru, memiliki pribadi dan penampilan menarik, mengesankan guru dambaan setiap siswa, sosok guru yang menjadi tauladan bagi siswa dan panutan masyarakat. Kompetensi personal tersebut memberi arti bahwa untuk profesi guru tidak hanya diperlukan pengetahuan yang luas tetapi juga diperlukan karakteristik tertentu secara personal. Untuk itu mahasiswa pendidikan ekonomi sebgai calon guru/pendidik perlu dibekali dengan ketrampilan-ketrampilan agar memiliki kompetensi personal yang memadai. Abstract

The objective of the study was to investigate the achievement of academic quality target and the proper of academic quality procedure in each department at teh Economic Faculty, Semarang State University. The research was done in Accounting, Management, Development Economic, and Economics Education Departments. The respondents were department’s leaders, including the Head of Departments. The Secretary of Deparment and The Head of laboratory in each department in each department. The data were collected by quetionnaire based on self-assessment. To identify and explain the achivement of academic quality target and the proper of academic quality procedure in each department, it was used branchmarking and root couse analysis based on the National Standard of Bachelor Study Program Accreditation/ BAN PT:2008 and International Standard SSM ISO 9001:2008. The result of the research gave empirical support that: (1) the achivement of academic quality target on students and graduetes standard was very good at the Accounting Departments; it was good at Management; it was good enough at Economics Education and Development Ecoonomics Departments. (2) the achivement of academic quality target on Human Resources standard was very good  at the Accounting Department, it was very good at Economics Education Department, and it was good enough at the Development Economics and Management Departments. (3) the achivement of academic quality target in curriculum, learning process, academic situation standard was very good at the Accounting, Management, Development Economics and Economics Education Departments, (4) the achivement quality target on facilities. Amenities and system of academic information standard was very good at the Accounting Department, it was good at the Development Economics and Economics Education and it was good enough at the Management department (5) the proper of academic procedure and the achivement of academic quality ware very good at all departments. Therefore, it is suggested for faculty’s and departments’s leader to have committment and give support for the lecturers and employees to hold the academic activities which are appropriete to the quality standard and procedure.
