Dinamika Pendidikan (p-ISSN 1907-3720, e-ISSN 2502-5074) is a scientific periodical published by the Department of Economics Education, Faculty of Economics, Universitas Negeri Semarang collaborate with Asosiasi Profesi Pendidik Ekonomi Indonesia (ASPROPENDO), Asosiasi Profesi Pendidikan Akuntansi Indonesia (APRODIKSI), Asosiasi Sarjana dan Praktisi Administrasi Perkantoran Indonesia (ASPAPI) with the aim to promote creativity scholarly or academic lecturers from various institutions in general and the community UNNES internal academic specifically. The article published scientific literature contains research results, conceptually as well as reviews of books in the field of economic education, accounting education, and educational administration offices. First published in 2006, published in a year, June and December. Dinamika Pendidikan has become a CrossRef member with DOI prefix: 10.15294. Therefore, all articles published by the journal have unique DOI number. The journal has been also accredited for five years based on The Decree of Directorate General of Research and Development Strengthening, Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia No. 48a/E/KPT/2017, dated on October 30th, 2017.

Abstract

This research aims to know the descriptive of input, environment, and outcome; analyze the influence of input to outcome; analyze the influence of environment to outcome; analyze the influence of input to environement; and analyze the role of environment in mediating the influence of input to outcome. Student previous achievement consisting of Mathematics and Indonesian National Exam at Junior High School is the educational input. Student engagement consisting of school engagement and class engagement is the educational environment and student accounting competence is the educational outcome. This research was a quantitative research. Data analysis used descriptive and path analysis technique. The total population and sample consists of 128 students of first class accounting. The results and conclusions in this study indicate that accounting competence is still good, student engagement is good, and student previous achievement is very good. There are influences of mathematics National Exam, Indonesian National Exam, school engagement, and class engagement on student accounting competence; there are influences of Mathematics and the Indonesian National Exam on school engagement and class engagement. School engagement mediates the influence of mathematics National Exam on accounting competence, but it does not mediate the influence of the Indonesian National Exam on accounting competence. Then, class engagement mediates the influences of the mathematics and Indonesian National Exam on accounting competencies.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya perbedaan hasil belajar IPS Ekonomi antara pembelajaran dengan metode ceramah dengan metode kontekstual. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada perbedaan hasil belajar antara pembelajaran dengan metode ceramah dengan metode kontekstual. Perbedaan tersebut ditunjukkan dari nilai hasil belajar siswa yang diajar dengan metode kontekstual pada siklus I dan siklus II lebih tinggi dibandingkan nilai hasil belajar siswa yang diajar dengan metode ceramah yaitu pada siklus I kelas kontekstual memperoleh rata-rata nilai 63,50 sedangkan kelas ceramah sebesar 62,83 dan pada siklus II kelas kontekstual memperoleh rata-rata nilai 72,75 sedangkan kelas ceramah sebesar 68,25. Abstract

This research aims to know the influence of economics literacy on the students’ consumption behavior through local cultural values and promotions. The mediation used is based on the theories, the empirical studies and the previous studies.Quantitative approach was used in this study. The population was the Pamekasan Senior High Schools students (Class XI IPS, academic year 2012/2013). Proportional random sampling was conducted to take the samples in the population. The data was collected by using the questionnaire and test. Path analysis was used to analyze the data.The findings showe that the economic literacy level influences directly and significantly on the local cultural values, while affected negatively significant on the promotion. Also the economic literacy level influences directly and negatively significant on the consumption behavior. Contrary, the local cultural values influence directly, positively and significantly on the consumption behavior similar to the promotion. Moreover, the economic literacy level influences indirectly and significantly on the consumption behavior through the local cultural values. Similar to the local cultural values, the promotion aspect had the same influence direction. Therefore, this research provided evidence that the economic literacy affected consumption behaviour which are moderated through the value of local culture and promotion aspects

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find a model in improving RSBI vocational schools teachers’ English skills in Central Java. This study used research and development(R D) design developed by Borg Galland. It was a qualitative research; data were collected by interviews, questionnaires and observations to get the primary and secondary data. The study was located in Central Java focusing on RSBI Teachers’ English Skills. The benefit of the research was to provide an alternative in improving RSBI vocational schools teachers’ English skills. The result was a model product in improving RSBI vocational schools teachers’ English skills in Central Java. Thus, it is suggested for RSBI vocational teachers to improve their English skills by using this model.

Abstract

The objectives of this study are to improve the learning quality Introduction to Economics, to improve students’ spirit in learning, to improve lecturers’ skill in developing learning model and media and  also to improve students’ achievement in learning. This study was class action research consists of three cycles. Result of study showed students’ achievement was improving on each cycle. Students’ learning completeness before applying syndicate group discussion method was 0%, after applying syndicate group discussion group; students’ achievement after final test was 94%. Students’ interest, activeness and relationship in learning process with range 1-4, the result was good (3.2). Result of observation related to lecturers’ skill in managing the learning process which used map concept method with range1-4 showed a good result with average of cycle 1, cycle 2 and cycle 3 was 3.2. That score was the average of all aspects investigated on three cycles. Based on result of study, it was suggested that for lecturers of Introduction of Economics subject to apply syndicate group discussion method in teaching-learning process. This methodwas approved to improve students’ ability to analyze the case and understand the concepts of Introductions to Economics. This was because students are given opportunity to do research in the field related to the topic and then find the problems that will be discussed in the class. Thus, students are usual to think critically and analytically to face a case. And finally, students can find the topics concepts. Moreover, result of study can be applied for other subjects because this study gives the positive impact. Key words: Syndicate Group Discussion Method, Basic Concepts of Introduction to Economics.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine either simultaneously or partially teaching skills teacher, personal competence, and sosial competence of techer on student achievement at tenth grade of SMK N 1 Purwodadi. The Population in this research is tenth grade AP as many as 117 students. The Variables were examined in this study are teaching skills teacher, personal competence, and sosial competence of teacher. Data collection is used by the writer are questionnaires, tests, observation and documentation. Data analyzed using descriptive analysis and multiple regression analysis. Results of this research multiple regression analysis is Y =56,484 + 0,138X1 + 0,118X2 + 0,154X3. There is a simultaneous effect of 58,2%, while the partial effect of teaching skills teacher by 22,09%, personal competence by 17,05%, and amounted to 7,23% of sosial competence.

Abstract

The objectives of this study are to find and to test the model of characters education in Learning Evaluation Subject through deep approach to learning. The subject of the study is the class of Learning Evaluation of Office Administration Program, Economics Education Department, Economics Faculty, Semarang State University. The data are collected by a test, and then analyzed by qualitative descriptive. The result of this study showed that the model of characters education through deep approach to learning could improve students’ self awareness in learning the subject.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the influence either partially orsimultaneously of English vocabulary mastery, basic computer and basic accountingtoward the learning achievement of MYOB accounting computer at class XI AccountingSkills Competency at SMK N 1 Bawang in the academic year of 2011/2012. Thepopulation of the study was 94 students and they were all the respondents. The datawere collected by test and documentation. Then, the data were analyzed by percentagedescriptive analysis and multiple linear regression analysis. The result of the studyshowed that simultaneously, English vocabulary mastery, basic computer and basicaccounting influenced the learning achievement significantly for 23.7%, partiallyEnglish vocabulary mastery influenced the MYOB accounting computer learningachievement for 7.95%, basic computer mastery influenced it for 5.15%, and basicaccounting mastery influenced it for 7.51%. It means that the good mastery of Englishvocabulary, basic computer and basic accounting can improve the learningachievement of MYOB accounting computer.

Abstract

the objective of this study is to improve the students’ learning activities by remedial teaching that used skill for asking question and giving reinforcement. This is a class action research with 55 students of Economics Education year 2006/2007, Semarang State University as the subject of research. The result of observation cycle I showed that there were several points that blocked learning design. Those are in ineffectual time allotment, crowded class situation and completing assignment dominated by only certain students. Learning activities have improved well and the number of active students who were brave to give opinion has also increased. At the end of cycle I showed that the number of  active students who could give opinion were 12 students (21.82%), students who submitted the assignment on time were 25 students (45.45%), the average of study result was 65.51 and the number of students who got score 71- 80 above were 30 students (54.54%). After remedial teaching, at the end of cycle II, the numbers of active students who asked and answered question and also gave opinion were 35 students (63.64%), students who submitted the assignment on time were 43 students (78.18%), the average score was 77.31 and the number of students who got score 71-80 above were 45 students (81.83%). Based on the result above, it can be concluded that the criteria of action success were (1) at least 60 % students were active to ask and answer questions or give opinions and (2) at least 70% students were on time to submit the assignment and (3) more than 60% students who got  score 71-80 above was reached. Abstract

This research aims to know the illustration of brand image, education cost, and education facilities related to the student’s decision in choosing the Accounting Department, Faculty of Teacher Training of Universitas Islam Riau. This research was conducted in August 2016. The subject in this research is the students of FKIP Accounting Department of Universitas Islam Riau, semester 3, 5 and 7 with a population of 318 students. 177 students were analyzed as sample. The technique of research used random sampling and method used descriptive quantitative. The data of brand image, education costs, education facilities, and student’s decisions are obtained from questionnaires. Multiple linear regressions were used to analyse the data and the calculation of coefficient determinant (R) was used to know the influence of brand image, education cost, and education facilities.
