Dinamika Pendidikan (p-ISSN 1907-3720, e-ISSN 2502-5074) is a scientific periodical published by the Department of Economics Education, Faculty of Economics, Universitas Negeri Semarang collaborate with Asosiasi Profesi Pendidik Ekonomi Indonesia (ASPROPENDO), Asosiasi Profesi Pendidikan Akuntansi Indonesia (APRODIKSI), Asosiasi Sarjana dan Praktisi Administrasi Perkantoran Indonesia (ASPAPI) with the aim to promote creativity scholarly or academic lecturers from various institutions in general and the community UNNES internal academic specifically. The article published scientific literature contains research results, conceptually as well as reviews of books in the field of economic education, accounting education, and educational administration offices. First published in 2006, published in a year, June and December. Dinamika Pendidikan has become a CrossRef member with DOI prefix: 10.15294. Therefore, all articles published by the journal have unique DOI number. The journal has been also accredited for five years based on The Decree of Directorate General of Research and Development Strengthening, Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia No. 48a/E/KPT/2017, dated on October 30th, 2017.

Abstract

This research aims to know the development of critical thinking-based contextual video media on the subject matter of economic issues and how to overcome it, and to find out the feasibility of critical thinking-based contextual video media and student's response towards the critical thinking-based contextual video media. The implementation of curriculum 2013 cannot be separated from the government's expectation that learners have good soft skills.The desired skills are 21st century skills known as 4C: creative, critical thinking, communicative and collaborative. These skills emphasize the soft skills implemented in daily life, learners understand the importance of these skills. The existence of contextual video helps to simplify the process; learners are brought into real life. The learning is more implementative. Critical thinking is the basis of video, the video making process is made in such a way so that the learners understand the material by temselves from analyzing every plot of video. The video material is about economic issues and how to overcome them. This research was Research and Development (RD). The development cycle used Thiagarajan, Semmel and Semmel’s model or 4-P model that are defining, designing, developing, and deploying. However, this study was only up to the stage of development. The place of this study was in Vocational High School Muhammadiyah 1 Babat. The result of the research stated that based on media feasibility test from the material expert, it is very feasible with the percentage of 80,44% and the media learning expert assessed very well with the percentage of 88,82%. And the result of class X students’ response to media is very good with the percentage 83, 64%. So it is concluded that contentxtual video media is feasible to be used as a learning media.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui sekaligus menganalisis pengaruh disiplin siswa dan fasilitas perpustakaan sekolah terhadap prestasi belajar siswa serta untuk mengetahui dan mengkaji lebih lanjut upaya-upaya yang dilakukan sekolah untuk meningkatkan displin siswa dan pemanfaatan fasilitas perpustakaan sekolah. Berdasarkan analisis regresi berganda menunjukkan bahwa secara parsial  disiplin siswa mempunyai pengaruh positif terhadap prestasi belajar siswa dengan t-hitung = 4,787 dengan p-value= 0,000,50 dan fasilitas perpustakaan sekolah mempunyai pengaruh positif terhadap prestasi belajar siswa dengan t-hitung= 7,860 dengan p-value=0,000,05. Secara simultan diketahui bahwa F-hitung sebesar 98,499 dengan harga signifikansi sebesar 0,000 0,05 yang berarti bahwa variabel bebas mempunyai pengaruh secara bersama-sama terhadap variabel terikat. Dengan demikian dapat dilihat bahwa disiplin siswa dan fasilitas perpustakaan sekolah berpengaruh positif terhadap prestasi belajar siswa. Saran yang diambil yaitu dengan menerapkan peraturan sekolah didalam kelas dengan baik serta memberi sanksi yang tegas bagi siswa yang melanggar dan melengkapi koleksi buku-buku perpustakaan. Kata kunci: disiplin siswa, fasilitas perpustakaan sekolah, prestasi belajar siswa.  
The Influence of Principal Managerial Competence and Work Motivation on Teacher Professionalism of Vocational High Schools

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of principal managerial competence, working motivation on teacher professionalism. This research employs a non-experimental quantitative approach. The population was 172 teachers at Business and Management Vocational High Schools in Tegal. 114 teachers were analyzed as sample and data were collected by using questionnaire. Findings show that the principal managerial competence and work motivation have significant influence on teacher professionalism.. The influence of those two variables on teacher professionalism is 47.8%. Based on the regression analysis, it shows that there is a positive and significant influence of principal managerial competence on teacher professionalism, which is equal by 17.7%. Working motivation has also positive and significant influences on teacher professionalism with the coefficient of determination by 46.8%. Furthermore, the result of multiple regression analysis shows that the influence of both variables simultaneously influence on teacher professionalism with the coefficient of determination by 47.8%.

Abstract

This research aims to know the student’s lifestyle whether it is influenced by education that has been accepted in family or their financial literacy. Samples were 334 out of 2040 students of Indraprasta PGRI University, Jakarta. Technique of data analysis used path analysis. Findings show that 60.78% of students are in the middle category for economic education in family, 47% of students are in the high category for financial literacy and 58% of students have a high lifestyle. Economic education influences the lifestyle by 6.4% and financial literacy affects on lifestyle by 3.7%. The influence of family education through financial literacy toward lifestyle is 1.9%. Therefore, it can be concluded that financial literacy does not increase the influence of education Economy in family to lifestyle. Then, the results of the research will be used as one of the reference in the application of entrepreneurship lectures.

Abstract

The objective of the study was to determine the use of the economics comic medium on the basic competence of national income. This medium was selected since students faced difficulty to understand the concept of the economics. The study took place in SMAN 1 Demak, Mranggen. The subjects were 36 students of X-4 class on the 2nd semester in the academic year of 2011/2012. It was a Classroom Action Research conducted in two cycles. The result of the 1st cycle showed that the average of students’ learning outcomes was 71 with classical achievement was 69%, so it increased up to 33% comparing to the initial conditions. In the 2nd cycle, the average of students’ learning outcomes was 74 with classical achievement was 86%, it rose by 17% which was better comparing to the 1st cycle.

Abstract

The Objective of this study is to know and analyze the planning, the teaching-learning process and the assessment in SMK Negeri 2 Semarang. The significances of this study are firstly, as a means to improve knowledge and technology especially about learning management for educational institutions, secondly, as an input for schools about learning management so the learning objectives can be conducted effectively and efficiently, thirdly as an input for related institutions, especially about learning management so the result of the study can be experienced by the society directly. This research used qualitative approach since it was a descriptive qualitative study. The techniques for collecting the data were interview, observation and documentation. The data were analyzed through data reduction, data presentation and concluding. And then triangulation was done to get the valid data. The result showed that before teaching, the teachers discuss together about planning until assessment under the control of the principal; next, the preparation by a techer including preparing the materials and media, until designing the method of teaching. After that, the teching-learning process which involves three activities; warming-up activity, main activities and cooling-down activity. And finally, the ssessment which is done during the teacjing-learning process and after learning in the form of students learning result. Moreover, for student who face difficulties in learning, the teacher gives remedial opportunity so their result can finally achieve Criteria of Minimal Score (kriteria ketuntasan minimal/KKM).

Abstract

The objective of this study is to measure and obtain the empirical proof that concerned to the  effectiveness and significance in applying Teams Games Tournament learning model that was presented in teaching learning process in Economics Mathematics subject in improving the  students’ learning ability. This study used 3 cycles and involved 67  students  from the 1st semester  of regular class, Accounting Education Program, S1 Degree on Accounting Department, Economics Faculty, Semarang State University. Result of this study was to apply Economics Mathematics through Teams Games Tournament model learning in Quadrat Function Topic with the sub topics were Demand Function, Supply Function, Market Equilibrium, Tax and Subsidy Influences to improve the students’ ability and skill in teaching learning process.  It was seen that score average from 11 teams from Cycle I, II and III was getting increased about 60,11%; 87% and 96,88%. Therefore, that result has obtained the target because the students  who got the score higher  than 70 were  more than 80 %, thus this teaching method can be said successfull. Abstract

Teacher implements learning process and curriculum in the point of mastering material based on the curriculum, learning method used by the teacher is less interesting so students are not fully involved in the learning. This research is to know the 5 M activities and each competence achieved by students in scientific learning approachment.This research uses qualitative descriptive method with 138 students and subject are 32 students. The discussion object is The Mastery of Learning Competence in Scientific Learning Approachment. In collecting data, the writer uses observation, documentation and interview.The research result shows that learning process in scientific learning aprroachment includes 5M in the average shows good competence including knowledge, social and spiritual competence. Daily test shows that 5 Student got 94 in the predicate of A, 10 students got 90 , 5 student got 85 and 8 student got 84 in the predicate of A-, , 2 students got 78 and 79 in the predicate of B+. Learning process in scientific learning approachment gives opportunity for students to develop their ideas, and formulates material concept and principals, giving appreciations and enough time for students to be active in learning process.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to improve students’ activity and students’ learning outcomes for accounting students in the first grade in SMK Negeri 1 Salatiga at second semester in the academic year of 2011/2012. This study was a class action research which was designed into two main cycles. Each cycle consisted of four stages started from planning, acting, observing and reflecting. The result showed that : (1) Learning activities with the above three criteria,  increase from 33.34% before the cycle, 66.66% in the first cycle and 93.44% in the second cycle, (2) The learning outcomes increase from 22.22% before the cycle, 75% in the first cycle and 94.44% in the second cycle. Therefore; the use of this method could be a teachers’ reference in implementing the teaching-learning process.

Abstract

The objective of the study was to improve the material mastery by using roleplay learning model which was indicated by at least 75% students got 75 for theirlearning achievement and all students were actively involved in the learning process. Itwas a classroom action research. The subject of the research was students at class XOffice Administration at SMK Negeri 2 Temanggung in the academic year of2013/2014. The study was consisted of two cycles which each cycle consisted ofplanning, implementation, action, and reflection. The data were collected by test andobservation sheets for students and teachers. The results of the study showed that: (1)Role play model can improve students’ learning achievement on the basic competenceof applying the principles of excellent service with the average of students’ learningachievement on the 1st cycle was 74.5, and rose up to 81.62 on the 2nd cycle, and theclassical completeness was 72.5% on the 1st cycle and increased up to 95% on the2nd cycle, (2) the students’ attitude toward learning was 63.10% on the 1st cycle andincreased up to 84.4% on the 2nd cycle.
